In the hospital, nursing staff are the greatest number of hospital human resource and the longest staff who interact with clients. Nursing practice standards,  include  the  standard  of  care  and  the  professional  performance standard that are use as evaluations in assessment nursing care who carry out by nurses. Performance or work performance comes from job performance word (work performance or real achievement someone has ever achieved). The factors that can affect on someone performance, are individual factors: abilities, skills, family background, work experience, social level and demography factor; psychological factors: perception, role, attitude, personality, motivation, and job satisfaction; organizational factors: organizational structure, job design, and leadership. To getting nurses with good performance, hospital need a leader who can understand the nurses' necessary and can provides good environmental assistance to make nurses feel motivated. This study aims to determine the relationship between room head's leaderschip style and work motivation in the inpatient room of AN-NISA Hospital, Tangerang. The research design used is a quantitative correlation with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study is  organizer nurses in the inpatient room of AN-NISA Hospital in Tangerang and using  purposive  sampling  technique  with  83  respondents.  Analysis  technique using Chi-square test. The results showed that the dominant style of leadership in inpatient  room  of  AN-NISA  Hospital  Tangerang  is  democratic  style  (48.2%). There is a relationship between the room head's leadership style and the performance of nurses (p.value = 0.033) and there is a relationship between work motivation  and  nurse  performance  (p.  Value  =  0.019).  It  is  hoped  that  this research can be used as a material for evaluating hospitals regarding the leadership style of the head of the room, work motivation and performance of the nurse nurses to be able to maintain and improve the performance of nurses.

The performance of nurses can be seen from several cases that occur in hospitals. The incidence of falls in patients, nosocomial infections, inadequate documentation is the result of nurses' low performance. Factors that affect the performance of nurses in hospitals are job satisfaction. So this study aims to describe the relationship between job satisfaction and nurse performance. This study used a cross-sectional study design with a sample of 85 nurses at Arosuka Hospital using proportional sampling technique. The research instrument used a job satisfaction survey questionnaire and the Individual Work Performance quasi (IWPQ) and statistical tests used frequency distribution and chi-square tests. The results showed that the majority of nurses' job satisfaction was in the satisfied category as much as 56.5% and the majority of nurses' performance in the high category was 51.8%. Then obtained a significant relationship between job satisfaction and nurse performance with a p-value of 0.000. So it is expected that hospitals can pay attention to aspects of nurse job satisfaction in making policies

Luke Ma. Thesis, 2017. The influence of placement and promotion of office on the performance of employess of PT. Gramedia Asri Media Kupang. Supervisor: Try Suris Lestari, S.Kom.,MM.        The problem in this research is placement data and promotion position at PT. Gramedia Asri Media Kupang is not in accordance with the standards set by Nasional Gramedia in KPI rules (key performance indicator), KPI/STD/GAM/02/2011 for 2012-2016. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether the placement and promotion of positions partially and simultaneously significant effect on employee performance at PT. Gramedia Asri Media Kupang in 2012-2016? Based on the formulation of the problem, the purpose of this study is to determine the magnitude of the effect of placement and promotion of positions partially and simultaneouslly on the performance of employees at PT. Gramedia Asri Media Kupang.        The data needed in this study are primary data and secondary data obtained by way of distributing questionnaires, interviews, and study documentation. Data were analyzed statistically by using multiple linear regression technique which was processed with SPSS program version 20.00. The result of data analysis shows the influence of job placement and promotion on employee performance shown by coefficient of determination ( ) equal to 86,1% and the rest 13,9% influenced by other factors like work motivation, employee compesation, discipline level, leadership style, employee and other employee loyalty.        Based on the results of data analysis suggested to the management of PT. Gramedia Asri Media Kupang for the placement process is expected to pay attention to the elements of education level, working knowledge, work skilss, and work experience, as well as in the promotion phase of office to pay attention to the rules for its assesment given objectively and effectively through carring, credible, competen, competetive and customer delight. So it will be very useful to improve employee work performance. Furthermore, to other researchers are expected to conduct further research to determine the performance of employees at PT. Gramedia Asri Media Kupang such as work motivation, employee compesation, discipline level, leadership style, employee work loyalty that can support the results of this study.

Background: Genetically modified foods are agricultural products with specific changes introduced into their DNA by genetic engineering techniques so as to favour the production of a desired biological product. Knowledge of genetically modified foods among agricultural workers remains largely unknown in our environment. The objective of this study was to assess the knowledge and perception of these products among agricultural workers in Jos.Methods: This was a cross sectional study using a structured self-administered questionnaire. Respondents were selected through stratified sampling technique. Data collected were analysed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences version 23 software. Knowledge and perception of genetically modified foods were scored. Factors influencing the observed knowledge and perception were also assessed and a p value of ≤ 0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results: The mean age of respondents was 41.9 ± 8.6 years with 66.1% of them being males. One hundred and sixty five (94.8%) had tertiary education and the median years of work experience was 12 years (interquartile range 6.0-20.3). There was good knowledge and perception of genetically modified foods in 48.3% and 29.9% of the respondents respectively. Statistically significant associations were found between the length of work experience and both knowledge (p=0.039) and perception (p=0.011) of genetically modified foods.Conclusion: Both the knowledge and perception of genetically modified foods were low. Duration of work significantly influenced both knowledge and perception of genetically modified foods. It is recommended that agricultural institutions improve the knowledge of their workers on genetically modified foods by regular and continuous training.

Aims: This study aims to assess the knowledge, attitude, and practices related to coronavirus pandemic among health care workers in Sokoto metropolis of Sokoto State, Nigeria.  Study Design: A cross-sectional study Place and Duration of Study: The study was conducted in Sokoto metropolis, northwest Nigeria between July and October 2020 Methodology: Four hundred and twenty-seven respondents were selected using a multi-stage sampling technique. Data were collected manually using a self-administered questionnaire entered into the computer for analysis using IBM SPSS version 25 for statistical analysis. Descriptive statistics, chi-square tests, and frequencies of the various variables were tabulated. Results: The mean age was 35.16+- 9.25 years, with those aged 30-39 years constituting 38% of the respondents. There were 53.2% males, 47.3% nurses, and 27.2% doctors, and 71.6% of the respondents were from tertiary health institutions, out of which 42% had 1-5 years of work experience. Up to 99% were aware of coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19), and overall, 78.2% had good knowledge, and 91% of all the respondents had positive attitudes towards the pandemic (p-value 0.001). Overall, 68.4% of the health workforce had appropriate practices towards preventing COVID-19, and 83% were willing to be posted to isolation centers with adequate personal protective equipment (PPE). Conclusion: The study demonstrated significant awareness and knowledge of COVID-19 amongst the health workforce in Sokoto with significant positive attitudes towards the pandemic and appropriate practices towards preventing the pandemic and willingness to work in isolation centers to support the prevention of the pandemic.

National problem faced by Indonesia today is the handling of the low quality of Human Resources (HR). HR issues that need attention is the issue of performance. Performance is the rate of success in carrying out the task, as well as the ability to achieve the goals set. The aim of this study was to determine the influence of individual factors, organizational factors, organizational and cultural factors on the Performance of Nurses. This study used a cross sectional study approach. The population used in this study were nurses ponkesdes Tuban and Lamongan district in accordance with the inclusion criteria as much as 55, with a sample size of 48 respondents specified research using simple random sampling technique. The independent variable in this study is the individual factors (abilities and skills), organizational cultural factors and organizational factors, dependent variable is the performance of nurse ponkesdes. Instruments used in the collection of data in the form of questionnaires and performance evaluation sheet. Research analysis using simple linear regression test. Simple linear regression analysis showed variable organizational cultural factors were not statistically significant effect on the performance of the p-value (0.000), organizational factors also significantly influence the performance of the pvalue (0.027). While the variable factors of individual (skills and abilities) does not significantly influence the performance<br />of the p-value (0.103).

Human resources play an important and strategic role in determining company policy. Superior human resources are required to carry out their duties in a quality and good manner. Human resources need to be well-managed and emphasised so that employees can feel satisfaction at work. Job satisfaction is vital upon measuring the work performance. If the employee is satisfied with the job, the work performance will be better. Job satisfaction also becomes an indicator for the company survival. The purpose of this study is to analyse the significance of the influence of leadership style, work motivation, and work environment on employees’ job satisfaction. This type of study is survey research on the employees at PT Tri Usaha Sejahtera Pratama company. The study population included 800 people. The research sample was 80 employees, which comprised 32 male and 48 female respondents. The sample is taken using the proportional cluster random sampling technique with criteria based on their education background and working period. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis, T-test, model accuracy test and coefficient of determination. The results showed that all variables, including leadership style, work motivation, and work environment have positive influence towards employees’ job satisfaction. The leadership style, work motivation, and work environment have an essential effect on job satisfaction of the employees at PT Tri Usaha Sejahtera Pratama company. Therefore, it can be concluded that job satisfaction at PT Tri Usaha Sejahtera Pratama company can be measured using three variables: leadership style, work motivation, and work environment

Kinerja karyawan merupakan aspek penting dalam upaya pencapaian suatu tujuan. Pencapaian tujuan yang maksimal merupakan buah dari kinerja tim atau individu yang baik, begitu pula sebaliknya, kegagalan dalam mencapai sasaran yang telah dirumuskan juga adalah akibat dari kinerja individu atau tim yang tidak optimal. Faktor-faktor yang dapat menentukan terhadap kinerja individu yaitu motivasi kerja, kepuasan kerja, kepemimpinan, pengembangan karier, kompetensi, perilaku organisasi, sistem penghargaan/imbalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor faktor yang berhubungan dengan kinerja karyawan non medis di Rumah Sakit Syafira Pekanbaru Tahun 2020. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain Cross Sectional atau potong lintang. Lokasi dan waktu penelitian adalah di Rumah Sakit Syafira Pekanbaru pada Bulan Januari sampai Juli 2020. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu 60 orang karyawan non medis di Rumah Sakit Syafira Pekanbaru. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu teknik random samplin. Hasil penelitian yaitu Motivasi kerja p value= 0.012, Kepemimpinan p value= 1, Kompetensi p value= 0, Pengembangan karir p value= 1, Sistem penghargaan/ Imbalan p value= 0.028. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara Kinerja karyawan dengan Motivasi kerja, Kompetensi dan Sistem Penghargaan/ imbalan dan Tidak terdapat hubungan antara Kinerja Karyawan Dengan Kepemimpinan dan Pengembangan karir    Employee performance is an important aspect in effort to achieve a goal.  Achieving the maximum goal is the result of a good team or individual performance, and vice versa. The failure to achieve the goals that have been formulated also is a result of individual or team performance that is not optimal.  Factors that can determine individual performance are work motivation, job satisfaction, leadership, career development, competence, organizational behavior, an honor/ reward system.  This study aims to determine the factors associated with the performance of non-medical employees in Pekanbaru Syafira Hospital in 2020. This type of research is a quantitative study with cross sectional design.  The location and time of the study were at Syafira Pekanbaru Hospital on January to July 2020. The sample of this research was 60 non-medical employees at Syafira Pekanbaru Hospital.  The sampling technique used is the random sampling technique.  The results of the research are work motivation p value = 0.012, leadership p value = 1, competence p value = 0, career development p value = 1, an honor/ reward system p value = 0.028.  It can be concluded that there is a relationship among employee performance with work motivation, competence and an honor / reward system and there is no relationship between employee performance with leadership and career development.

Latar Belakang : Bertambahnya masalah gangguan jiwa diperlukan peningkatan pelayanan kesehatan terutama keperawatan. Penanganan gangguan jiwa diperlukan sikap caring yaitu memberikan perhatian terhadap seseorang. Salah satu cerminan sikap caring adalah berkomunikasi dengan baik. Tujuan Penelitian : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan Persepsi, Motivasi, dan Gaya kepemimpinan Dengan Sikap Caring Perawat di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Daerah Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Jawa Tengah 2018. Metode Penelitian : Desain penelitian ini adalah correlation dengan pendekatan cross sectional dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Daerah Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Jawa Tengah tanggal 11 Mei 2018 – 4 Juni 2018. Jumlah sampel menggunakan Tehnik Purposive sampling yaitu 70 responden. Alat ukur kuesioner. Analisis bivariate menggunakan uji Somers’d. Hasil Penelitian : Persepsi p-value<α (0,035<0,05), Motivasi p-value>α (0,080>0,05), gaya Kepemimpinan p-value<α (0,043<0,05) dan analisa multivariat menggunakan analisis Regresi Berganda 4 Variabel, tidak terdapat hubungan secara partial maupun simultan antara persepsi, motivasi, gaya kepemimpinan dengan sikap caring. Kesimpulan :Terdapat hubungan antara persepsi dengan sikap caring perawat, tidak ada hubungan antara motivasi dengan sikap caring perawat, ada hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan dengan sikap caring perawat di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Daerah Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Jawa Tengah. Saran : Hasil penelitian bagi Stikes Bethesda, dapat dijadikan refrensi tambahan tentang faktor yang mempengaruhi sikap caring perawat.   Kata Kunci : persepsi, motivasi, gaya kepemimpinan, caring     ABSTRACT    Background : Caring is giving attention to others. One reflection of caring is to maintain good communication. In mental nursing, maintaining a good communication is a key of successful mental nursing care practice. Caring can be influenced by nurses, in terms of perception and motivation and it can also be influenced by unit manager’s leadership style. Objective : To know the correlation between perception, motivation and leadership style with caring attitude of nurses in RSJD Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Central Java in 2018. Method : It was a correlation research with cross sectional approach done in RSJD Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Central Java in 11th May – 4th June 2018. The sample was 70 respondents taken with total sampling technique. Data was collected with questionnaire. Analysis was done with Kendall’s Tau test. Result : The result shows df 3, p-value > α (0,388>0,05), (0,170>0,05), (0,725>0,05) and multivariate analysis with 4 variable multiple regression shows there is no correlation either partially or simultaneously between perception, motivation, leadership style to caring attitude. Conslusion: There is no correlation between perception, motivation and leadership style with caring attitude of nurses in RSJD Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Central Java in 2018. Suggestion : This research can be an additional reference about factors that influence caring attitude of nurses.   Keyword : perception, motivation, leadership style, caring

ABSTRAKLatar Belakang: Kemoterapi merupakan salah satu cara pengobatan kanker dengan memberikanobat atau zat yang berkhasiat membunuh sel kanker. Dalam tindakan medis, perawat harusmemiliki pengetahuan tentang prosedur pemberian obat kemoterapi karena pemberian kemoterapiyang dilakukan oleh perawat rentan terkena pada kulit atau mata pada saat melakukan tindakan.Tujuan Penelitian: mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan perawat tentang kemoterapidengan tindakan pemberian kemoterapi pada pasien kanker paru. Metode: Desain penelitianyang digunakan ialah analisis korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi yangditeliti adalah perawat berjumlah 46 dengan teknik pengambilan sampel total sampling. Instrumenpenelitian berupa uesioner dan lembar observasi. Analisis data secara univariat dan divariat. Hasil:hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai uji statistik chi square dengan p value = 0,001 (≤ 0,05), hal iniberarti ada hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan perawat tentang kemoterapi dengan tindakanpemberian kemoterapi pada pasien kanker paru. Diskusi: seseorang yang mempunyai tingkatpengetahuan, pengalaman kerja yang banyak, serta diikuti bertambahnya usia akan memberikanpelayanan/perawatan dalam pemberian kemoterapi yang lebih baik hasilnya. Simpulan: perawatyang memiliki pengetahuan yang baik tentang kemoterapi akan memberikan tindakan kemoterapiyang sesuai dengan prosedur.Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan, kemoterapi, kanker paru.THE CORRELATION BETWEEN KNOWLEDGE LEVEL OF NURSES ABOUT CHEMOTHERAPHYAND CHEMOTHERAPHY ADMINISTRATION IN LUNG CANCER PATIENTSABSTRACTBackground: Chemotherapy is one of the methods in treating cancer by providing effi cacious drugs orsubstances that kill cancer cells. In a medical procedure, nurses must have knowledge of proceduresfor chemotherapy regimens because the chemotherapy conducted by nurses is susceptible to skinor eyes at the time of the intervention. Objective: To identify the correlation between knowledgelevel of nurses about chemotheraphy and chemotheraphy administration in lung cancer patients.Methods: This study was correlational analytical with cross sectional approach. Samples were46 nurses taken using total sampling technique. Questionnaire observation sheet were used asinstruments. Data was analyzed with univariate and bivariate. Results: There was a correlationbetween knowledge level of nurses about chemotherapy and chemotherapy administration, pvalue=0.001 (≤ 0.05). Discussion: One who has higher level of knowledge, a lot of work experience,and get older will administer better chemotherapy. Conclusions: Nurses with comprehensiveknowledge of chemotherapy will administer chemotherapy in accordance with procedure.Keywords: Knowledge level, Chemotherapy, Lung Cancer
