The tourism industry has received increasing attention as it has become one of the fastest developing business sectors around the world. Service quality in tourism has come to be regarded as an important impetus for economic growth; however, the focus on tourism service quality has not yet been satisfactorily or comprehensively reviewed. Therefore, we conducted a systematic literature review combining bibliometric, citation network and keyword network analysis. We selected the top five tourism journals from the SCOPUS database and then collected papers according to their keywords. Our results revealed the critical issues, topics, and changes over time regarding research on tourism service quality. The critical issues included the important impact of service quality on tourist behavior and service quality evaluation, and topics comprised (1) tourist satisfaction, (2) sustainable issues in tourism, (3) value of service quality for customers, (4) restaurant service quality, (5) customers’ perceptions of tourism, (6) service quality evaluation in tourism, and (7) service quality’s influence on customer behavior. As a result of creativity, the creative economy product is an intellectual property that needs to be recognized as an intellectual work that has economic value and gets legal protection. This study analyzes the regulations established by the Government in providing protection against intellectual property rights (IPRs) to ekraf products and the application of such regulations in the city of Surakarta, Central Java and Denpasar City, Bali. Through normative and empirical juridical research methods, secondary and primary data are processed and analyzed qualitatively. The result of the research stated that IPRs protection policy toward creative economy product has been done by the government through IPRs legislations and regional policy related to IPRs protection for creative economy product referring to national policy. Preventive protection is provided through law in the form of economic benefits for the actors who register IPRs of creative economy product. However, the level of public awareness and understanding of the importance of IPRs, the communal nature of creative economy actors in Indonesia, and the nature of IPRs that must be registered for legal protection, cause IPRs protection for creative economy perpetrators is not optimal. At the level of implementation, the awareness and understanding of the perpetrators of the property rights become the key to the success of IPRs protection by the government. The lack of regional alignments has an impact on the not yet optimal economic benefits received by creative economy actors. Therefore, the government should intensify the socialization of IPRs and facilitate the registration of IPRs  for the perpetrators of creative economy. Institutional and regulatory support at the local level is also important to develop and protect the creative economy product.

The hotel industry is one of the integral constituents in the flourishing tourism industry and is extremely competitive. In this competitive arena, service quality has become a crucial success factor in maintaining hotel standards. A strong, sustainable, outstanding service industry requires good service quality standards.  However, due to the intangible nature of service products, measuring service quality is substantially challengeable than measuring the quality of physical products. Hence, this study attempts to investigate the impact of food and beverage service quality on customer satisfaction in the star graded hotels. Dambulla is one of the major tourist destinations in Sri Lanka, has been identified as the study area. A total of 150 foreign departure tourists who have visited three and above star graded hotels in the respective area were selected through a convenient sampling technique. A widely accepted SERVQUAL model was utilized to ascertain the findings. Primary data were collected through a self-administered structured questionnaire. Descriptive, frequency, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression analysis were conducted to analyze data using SPSS. The results reveal that there is a positive significant impact of tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance of food and beverage service quality on customer satisfaction in the star graded hotels in Dambulla area. On the contrary, empathy shows that there is no impact on customer satisfaction. Moreover, tangibility is the most influential service quality attribute that affects customer satisfaction. Thus, the authorities must pay their attention towards improving the tangible evidence such as staff attires and appearance, aesthetic upkeep of interior and exterior, and provide reliable service for their guests with greater customer care.

Japan is one of the biggest international tourist contributors to Indonesia. However, in recent years, there is a negative growth. It is caused by the demographical change of the Japanese population and outbound. Hence, research about the cultural ethnicity and social conditions affecting international travelers' behavior in tourism activities is needed. The research focused on the segmentation and strategies to attract foreign tourist which Indonesia would carry. The applied research method was a qualitative descriptive approach that utilized secondary data, such as demographical data and cultural characteristics. Data were taken from the Central Bureau of Statistics of the Republic of Indonesia, Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, World Bank, and Statistics Bureau of Japan. Then, those data were analyzed by a descriptive statistics method. The result intends to formulate a strategy to seek more potential tourist growth from a Japanese market. The result shows four strategic efforts that Indonesia can take to maximize the potential for the arrival of foreign tourists from Japan. The government can consider the increased number of “silver age” and adult female workers (Joshitabi), which dominate the travelers’ segment to Indonesia, and pay attention to air connectivity and unique cultural characteristic of Japan.

Image policy is a complex tool consisting of a strategy and a set of tactical measures aimed at improving the competitiveness of a recreation area and creating competitive advantages. Due to the government support and the performance of significant federal projects and social programs in the republic, there is a significant growth of popularity, loyalty and trust in tourism industry and sanatorium and resort services of Crimea in domestic and international markets. The article studies the resources that determine the territorial identity of the recreation area of the Republic of Crimea. The purpose of the study is to clarify the conceptual definitions of the image policy of the recreation region, to identify conditions, factors, objects and events that favorably affect the image of the territory. The hypothesis of the study is the assumption that the analysis of the current positioning of the Republic of Crimea in different areas of image policy will reveal the conditions, factors, objects and events that increase the competitiveness of the recreation territory and create its competitive advantages. The analysis of conditions, factors, objects and events has shown that the image of the territory is created at international, macro and meso levels. The Republic of Crimea, having been a part of the Russian Federation for seven years, has achieved significant results, as evidenced by national and international ratings. The study revealed that the Republic of Crimea, with its rich resource potential, is poorly represented in a number of ratings or is not represented at all in some significant ratings. Despite some positive trends, there is a number of problems that need to be solved immediately such as public utilities reorganization; development of entertainment industry; getting public-private partnership more involved in coastal facilities developing and maintaining. The existence and condition of objects of cultural and historical heritage, monumental parks of landscape and garden architecture, balneological resources and climatic conditions reflect territorial identity and favorably affect the image of the recreation territory.

Law No. 24 of 2019 concerning the creative economy states that wealth is a cultural heritage that needs to be utilized. It further becomes a product that creates added value where the Government and Local Government are responsible for creating and developing a creative economy ecosystem. Even though it is legalized in regulations, the management of Intellectual Property Rights in the Regency Semarang is still minimal. The research objectives are to study and analyze the effectiveness of protection of intellectual property rights as a driving force for the creative economy and formulate the ideal role of the Semarang district government in encouraging the realization of the creative economy. The juridical-empirical research method used primary data. The results of this study are that the protection of intellectual property rights as a driving force for the creative economy has not been effective. The number of registered brands from 2018-2020 is 174, which is not comparable to the number of MSME management industries in Semarang Regency. The people still have low legal awareness, lack of business capital, and little knowledge of the community's intellectual property. The ideal government of the Semarang district in encouraging the realization of the creative economy has four fields: the formation of regulations, managing the legality of MSMEs, access to business capital, management, and the MSMEs market.
