USE OF SHARING KNOWLEDGE ACTIVELY LEARNING MODEL WITH GUIDED DISCOVERY METHOD AT TUTORIAL STATISTICS IN GROUP STUDY AT UNIVERSITAS TERBUKA IN BANJARBARU

The aim of this action research is increasing the activity and learning through the application of sharing knowledge actively learning model with guided discovery method on statistics courses tutorial at open university (UT) study group in Banjarbaru. The subject of this study were Students of UT at, Pendas S-1 class A of PGSD, who took an educational statistics courses (PEMA - 4210) semesters VII, 2011.1 registered.Action research activities divided students into small groups, and each time of the meeting, the tutor provides the Group Worksheet (LKK), which contains materials summary to be studied by each group. Tutor only facilitated groups who had barriers, with reminded to reread LKK, the tutor was not allowed to give a direct answer.During the research activities carried out by using LKK, it could be concluded that students really learned in groups, and they also helped each other between a group with other groups to discuss the material that was less mastered by them.The results showed the use of sharing knowledge actively learning model with guided discovery method, capable to provide assistance students in learning statistical material, and outcomes indicated that PGSD Pendas S-1 class A, who took education statistics (Pema 4210) semesters VII, period 2011.1 were graduated 100 percent. ABSTRAKSI: Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar mahasiswa Jurusan Agribisnis pada matakuliah Penyuluhan dan Komunikasi Pertanian, dengan penerapan metode penemuan terbimbing. Penelitian ini adalah PTK (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas), yang dilakukan pada mahasiswa semester III (Ganjil) dan dilaksanakan selama 4 bulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa aktivitas mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II pada enam indikator, yaitu: tanya-jawab antar mahasiswa; tanya-jawab antara mahasiswa dengan dosen; mengerjakan dan mendiskusikan LKM (Lembar Kerja Majasiswa); mempraktekan langkah-langkah metode penemuan terbimbing; menyajikan hasil kerja kelompok; serta menyimpulkan materi pelajaran bersama-sama dosen. Dalam menerapkan pembelajaran, sebaiknya dosen membuat perencanaan yang matang sehingga pembelajaran berjalan secara sistematis; dan membuat LKM yang lebih variatif. KATA KUNCI: Aktivitas Belajar; Mahasiswa; Dosen; Hasil Belajar; Model Pembelajaran Penemuan Terbimbing. ABSTRACT: “The Use of Guided Discovery Learning Model to Increase Students’ Activity and Learning Outcomes in the Subject of Agricultural Communication and Extension”. This research is to determine the increase in the learning activities and learning outcomes of Agribusiness Department stundents in the subject of Agricultural Communication and Extension, by implementing the guided discovery method. This is CAR (Clasroom Action Research) conduced to the 3rd semester students and was carried out for 4 months. The research results showed that students’ activity increased from the first cycle to the second cycle in six indicators: debriefing between students; debriefing between students and lecturers; working on and discussing student worksheet; practicing the guided steps of discovery model; presenting the results of group work; and drawing a conclusion of subject matter along with the lecturer. This study was conducted on junior high school students with the aim to improve the learning outcomes of mathematics, student activities, and student responses through the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model with guided discovery method. This type of research is Classroom Action Research, ie research done by teachers in their own class with planned, systematic to improve the quality of classroom learning practice. The subjects of this study are students of class VII SMP Negeri Padangsidimpuan Lesson Year 2017-2018, selected is a class VII-2 with the number of students 31 people. While the object of this study is the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model with a guided discovery method to improve results and student learning activities that are not good math and need to be improved. The research instrument in this research will use test and non-test technique. The conclusion that can be drawn from this research is 1) the increase of mathematics learning outcomes through the application of STAD type cooperative learning model with guided discovery method of 0.65 with medium criteria, 2) Increased student learning activity through the application of STAD type cooperative learning model with guided discovery method equal to 0.46 with medium criterion, 3) also increase student response to STAD type cooperative learning with guided discovery method. The improvement of teachers' ability to manage the learning is 0.78 with high criteria.

This research aims to describe the results of the application of straight line equation learning with guided discovery learning model assisted by geogebra. This qualitative research took the subject is a class VIII student at MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo. Data collection uses observation and documentation techniques. The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively. It was concluded that the application of straight line equation learning for students of class VIII of MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo with a guided discovery learning model assisted by geogebra was carried out with the beginning of the Stimulation step, then the Problem statement, then the Data collection, followed by Data Processing, then Verification, ending with Generalization. Geogebra help is given during the stimulation and verification steps. The results of the application of this learning are student participation, confidence, and understanding increase. However, the teacher's guidance and creativity largely determine the successful implementation of the guided discovery learning model assisted by geogebra.

This research aimed to determine the effect of learning model on: science process skills in SMA Negeri 1 Langsa. The research applied experimental queasy method research with 3 classes which were using by cluster randome technique. Class A learnt with problem based learning model, class B with  guided discovery lerning model, while class C (control) learnt with conventional lerning model. the data analysis technique used Covariat Analysis (ANACOVA) at the level of significance α = 0,05 by using SPSS 21.0. The result showed: there was significant effect of learning models on student’s science process skill (F = 50.953; P = 0.00). student’s science process skill learnt by problem based learning (84.5 ± 5.3) significantly higher than guided discovery (75.30 ± 7.7), and conventional learning models (65.90 ± 8.1).

This study reports learning outcomes of social sciences subject  through the application of guided discovery learning model. This study was a classroom action research of two cycles. Conducted in SMPN 1 Karangploso Malang in 2015/2016 the study assigned 31studnets of 8th class as the subject.  Data were collected through observation, testing, and documentation. This study revealed that learning activities and attainment increased substantially. Scores of pre-test prior to cycles were: above Minimum Mastery Standard (KKM) = 3 (9.6%), 65-74 = 12 (38,71%) , 60-64 =10 (32,26%), and below 60 = 6 (19.35%).  Results of  cycle I were: mean score 79.41, maximum score 88 and minimum score 64, distributed into: above KKM = 3 (9.67%), 65-74 = 12 (38.71%), 60-64 = 10 (32.26%), and below 60 = 6 (19.35%).  Attainment in cycle II were salient showing 29 (93.55%) above KKM and 2 (6.45%) below KKM.

Some problems found in Process Evaluation and Learning Outcomes of Biology was the student difficult to understand the subject, the media that used in learning was power point, and the subject unavailability of learning resources that can guide and make students independent study. Thus it necessary to develop of handout based on guided discovery method. The purpose of this research was to develop handout based on guided discovery method on Process Evaluation and Learning Outcomes of Biology subject. This was development research with use 4D model. This research is limited in the Develop phase for know the validity of handout. The instruments is handout validity analysis questionaire. Data analysis use percentage formula. The result show that validity of handout was 89,38 with high valid criteria. It can be concluded that handout based on guided discovery method had been valid.Keywodrs : validity, handout, guided discovery method

Based on field data, patterned group learning has not been put into practice in SMK Negeri 6 Malang in a planned manner. The effect of group formation is not visible on learning outcomes, meaning that learning outcomes and learning interests of students are low. Cooperative learning model emphasizes the activities of students in small groups, they work together to help each other in understanding the material business opportunities in the subjects of craftsmanship and entrepreneurship they learn. This learning consciously and deliberately has created an attitude of mutual love to avoid offenses and misunderstandings that can cause animosity among students. This research is a Classroom Action Research using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model as an effort to improve learning outcomes in craftsmanship and entrepreneurship at SMK Negeri 6 Malang specifically the subject matter of handicraft business opportunities. The research findings state that it is proven by the acquisition of the percentage of student learning outcomes criteria, namely in the first cycle there was an increase in learning outcomes by 15 (44.12%) students had reached the KKM, and those who had not yet reached the KKM were known to be 19 (55.88%) participants students. While in cycle II as many as 30 students (88.24%) have been completed while the rest (11.76%) are still below the KKM in the sense of 34 students over 75% above the KKM with an average grade increased from 63 in the first cycle to 84 in cycle II.

<em>The purpose of this research was to improve the learning outcomes of students in the Indonesian language lesson, Suggestion Sentence Material in grade III elementary schools with the guided discovery learning model. The research conducted was Classroom Action Research (PTK). The sequence of research activities includes 4 stages including: (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The learning outcomes of students in the first cycle after carrying out the post test were 25%. In the second cycle students who completed after carrying out the post test were 83%. In the third cycle students who completed after carrying out the post test were 92%. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the application of the guided discovery learning model is in accordance with the material, where the steps of the guided discovery learning model include: a) introduction, b) repetition, c) overview, d) investigation, e) representation, f ) discussion, g) findings, h) application, i) conclusions, and j) assessment. (2) learning through the guided discovery learning model has increased in each cycle.</em>

Low mastery of science process skills indirectly affect student learning outcomes. Therefore, research that aims to improve students' science process skills. The subjects were students of class X MA Muhammadiyah 2 Al Furqan. This research is a classroom action research that specifically aims to describe: (1) the implementation of lesson plan during the learning proses by using guided discovery learning model, (2) an increase in students 'science process skills, and (3) the results of students' learning product. The subjects were students of class X MA Muhammadiyah 2 Al Furqan. Data collection techniques using observation, testing, and documentation for research activities in class X MA Muhammadiyah 2 Al Furqan. The results showed that the guided discovery learning model can improve: (1) the implementation of lesson plan during the learning proses by using guided discovery learning model during each cycle is very good, (2) science process skills of students increased in each cycle with all aspects have achieved both categories at the end of the third cycle, (3) mastery learning outcomes of the classical product the students in each cycle has increased. Thus be concluded that the application of guided discovery learning model by maximizing each phase in the material temperature and heat can enhance science process skills of students of class X MA Muhammadiyah 2 Al Furqan.

This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve the ability of teachers to apply the problem centered learning model of learning in the Elementary School 187/ X Bangun Karya, Academic Year 2019/2020. The subject of this study was a teacher at 187 / X Bangun Karya Elementary School, Rantau Rasau District, Tanjung Jabung Timur District, Jambi Province. This class action research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. The results of the evaluation are converted into a recapitulation table of the results of cycle I. The conversion results state that the research has not yet reached the target, it needs to be continued with cycle II. The results of observers in the implementation phase of the second cycle showed that all parts of the learning activities were going well, so that there were no more parts of the learning activities that needed to be improved. While the results of the second cycle are converted with the results of the recapitulation table states that the study has reached the target limit of completeness criteria in the first cycle that is equal to 50% and an average of 68.7 in the initial conditions of improvement in the second cycle completeness criteria to be 100% and the average namely 91.7 states that the Focus Group Discission can improve the ability of teachers to apply the Problem Centered Learning learning model in learning in 187 / X Public Elementary School Build Work Year 2019/2020.
