abstrak— The purpose of making this article is to help prepare quality school management, especially with regard to curriculum management which will be implemented at the level of the education unit at the school, both done by teachers, school committees, principals, and parties related to curriculum development at the unit level of education. Hopefully this article can provide information in order to create quality school management which of course must be based on quality curriculum management as well. curriculum administration is the entire process of activities planned deliberately to the situation of teaching and learning effectively and efficiently in order to help the achievement of educational goals that have been set.

The purpose of making this article is to help prepare quality school management, especially with regard to curriculum management which will be implemented at the level of the education unit at the school, both done by teachers, school committees, principals, and parties related to curriculum development at the unit level of education. One aspect that can affect the success of the curriculum is the empowerment of management or curriculum management in the relevant educational institution. Curriculum management at the education unit or school level needs to be coordinated by the institution's leadership and assistant leaders who are developed integrally in the context of School Based Management (SBM) and Education Unit Level Curriculum (SBC) and adjusted to the vision and mission of the relevant educational institution.

The preparation and development of the curriculum can not be done recklessly. In Islam, education has the characteristics different from education in general, for example Islamic education emphasizes akhlak, combines science and charity, and so forth. T management science approach is required in the preparation or development of the curriculum, so that the Islamic education curriculum development reflects the characteristics of the school. There are three stages in curriculum development: curriculum planning, curriculum implementation, and curriculum evaluation. This paper contains an explanation of these three stages in relation to the principles, fundamentals and approaches in curriculum development. The concept of management is integrated with the concept of curriculum development in an integral way, so the two concepts become a single concept of curriculum management in Islamic education.

The curriculum is a teaching design or a number of subjects that are arranged system Matecally to complete a program to get a diploma. Educational curicculum is all the processes of activities that are planned and carried out in earnest and continuous development of the learning situation teaching in school. Quality school management is mainly concerned with curicculum management that will be carried out at the level of educational unity in school, both conducted by teacher, school committee principals and others. The resercher uses the method by gathering the study material first, the material is in books, journal and articles.

This chapter explored the role of SMT in curriculum delivery in the midst of the pandemic, the impact of the pandemic on curriculum delivery, and support systems most useful during the coronavirus outbreak. The objectives were examined under the lens of the transformational leadership theory. The study was positioned in the interpretivist paradigm and informed by an exploratory case study design. Fifteen SMT members from six schools were conveniently sampled and interviewed to understand their experiences, perceptions, and expectations of curriculum delivery during the pandemic. The findings largely showed good practices in curriculum management during the pandemic, knowledge of curriculum delivery roles, and expanded support structures. On the other hand, challenges, such as increased absenteeism and weak student accountability resulting from recurring community transmissions, were noted. This chapter, therefore, calls for enhancing the role of SMTs in schools to make them better prepared for and responsive to interconnected global challenges such as this pandemic.

Penelitian ini bertujun untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan manajemen kurikulum dan pembelajaran di Pondok Pesantren Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS) Prambanan Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi dari bagian hubungan masyarat (humas) di MBS. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analis induktif interaktif yang meliputi: reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1.) Prinsip pengembangan kurikulum terdiri dari empat: prinsip signifikasi sosial, prinsip pertumbuhan, prinsip perbedaan individu, dan prinsip integrasi; 2) Pengembangan kurikulum dan pembelajaran di MBS meliputi dua aspek penting, yaitu: integrasi kurikulum pendidikan nasional dan pondok pesantren, serta menjadikan MBS sebagai pusat pembinaan akhlak siswa. Integrasi kurikulum pendidikan nasional dan pondok pesantren dilakukan dengan cara MBS Prambanan menerima sepenuhnya kurikulum yang berlaku secara nasional berupa Kurikulum 2013 sebagai bagian dari mewujudkan cita-cita pendidikan nasional namun dengan menambah kurikulum pesantren khas MBS. Sedangkan MBS sebagai pusat pembinaan akhlak merupakan konsekuensi logis sekaligus perwujudan dari cita-cita lembaga yang ingin membekali para siswanya penguasaan sains dan teknologi sekaligus memiliki bekal ilmu-ilmu keagamaan. Pengembangan manajemen kurikulum dan pembelajaran di pondok pesantren diintergrasikan demi kemajuan di semua lembaga pendidikan. AbstractThis study aims to describe the development of curriculum management and learning in the Muhammadiyah Boarding School of Prambanan Yogyakarta. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collected through interviews, observation, and documentation techniques supported by the public relations section in MBS. The data collected was analyzed using interactive inductive analyst techniques which included; data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that: 1.) the principles of curriculum development consist of the following four: the principle of social significance, the principle of growth, the principle of individual differences, and the principle of integration; 2.) Curriculum development and learning in MBS Prambanan cover two important aspects, namely: first, integration of the national education curriculum and Islamic boarding school, and second; making Muhammadiyah Boarding School is the center of student morals development. Integration of the national education curriculum and Islamic boarding school is carried out by way of MBS fully accepting the nationally applicable curriculum in the form of the 2013 Curriculum as part of realizing the ideals of national education but by adding to the Islamic boarding school curriculum typical of MBS. Whereas Muhammadiyah Boarding School as a center for morality training is a logical consequence as well as a manifestation of the ideals of the institution that wants to equip its students to master science and technology while at the same time possessing religious knowledge. The development of curriculum management and learning in Islamic boarding schools is integrated for the sake of progress in all educational institutions.

This paper aims to explain the principal of the madrasa's leadership in implementing the curriculum program at Madrasa Tsanawiyah Al Ittihadiyah Pangkalan Masyhur Medan. This study used a qualitative method because it revealed madrasa principals' behavior, vice-principal of the madrasa, education staff, and teachers in implementing madrasa curriculum management. For data collection, this study used interview techniques, observation, and document review. The data were collected then analyzed using data reduction steps, data exposure, and concluding. Triangulation techniques were used to ensure the validity of the data, both among participants and between methods. This  findings indicated that the madrasa principal's leadership in implementing the curriculum program at MTs Al Ittihadiyah Pkl. Mahsyur is performed effectively. It was indicated by (1) the communication carried out by the principal of the madrasa in socializing the vision, mission, goals, and development of the madrasa curriculum; (2) wise decision making by the principal of the madrasa in curriculum deliberations; (3) exemplary shown by the principal of the madrasa in efforts to develop curriculum; and (4) particular motivation given to teachers in madrasa curriculum development efforts.

ABSTRACT     This study aims to determine student perceptions of the project based learning model in the preparation of the Education Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP). Data collection used questionnaires and documentation, while data analysis techniques used quantitative descriptive analysis. Research location on the campus of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Prof. DR. HAMKA. The research subjects were all 22 semester 5 Early Childhood Teacher Education Study Program students who took Curriculum Development courses in 2019/2020 Academic Year. The results of the study showed: 1) 100% of students said that after arranging KTSP through project based learning, their mastery of curriculum development subjects was increased; 2) 95% of students said that through project based learning increases the depth of curriculum development analysis; 3) 95% of students said that every teacher must master the skills in preparing KTSP; 4) 95%of students said that they would apply their KTSP skills when becoming early childhood teachers.   Keywords: perception; project based learning, Education Unit Level Curriculum,   ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa terhadap model project based learning dalam penyusunan Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP). Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengambilan data purposive sampling.  Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini semester 5 berjumlah 22 yang mengambil mata kuliah Pengembangan Kurikulum pada Tahun Akademik 2019/2020. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  : 1) 100% mahasiswa mengatakan setelah menyusun KTSP melalui project based learning meningkatkan penguasaan mata kuliah pengembangan kurikulum; 2) 95% mahasiswa menyampaikan bahwa melalui project based learning meningkatkan kedalaman analisis pengembangan kurikulum; 3) 95% mahasiswa menyampaikan bahwa setiap guru harus menguasai keterampilan menyusun KTSP; 4) 95% mahasiswa menyampaikan bahwa akan mengaplikasikan keterampilan menyusun KTSP saat menjadi guru PAUD.   Kata kunci : persepsi; project based learning; Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan
