Cadmium (Cd) adalah logam berat yang bisa ditemukan di dalam air di sekitar tempat pembuangan sampah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis arang aktif ampas kopi dalam menurunkan kadar Cd dalam air. Metode penelitian ini adalah true eksperimental dengan desain Rancangan Acak Lengkap. Tahap pertama adalah pembuatan arang kemudian diaktivasi dengan HCl. Hasil uji kualitas arang aktif ampas kopi meliputi rendemen (98,5%), kadar air (7%), kadar abu (4%) dan daya serap idoin (687,96 mg/g). Terdapat empat kelompok yaitu tanpa perlakuan 0 gr/l (P0), perlakuan dengan 5 gr/ l (P1), 8 gr/l (P2) dan 10g/l (P3), di mana masing-masing kelompok terdiri dari 6 replikasi. Kelompok yang diberi perlakuan dikontakkan dengan arang aktif ampas kopi selama 2 jam. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisa kadar Cd dalam air dengan metode Spektrofotometri Serapan Atom. Hasil penelitian dilakukan uji normalitas kemudian dilakukan uji one way anova menggunakan SPSS. Hasil menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan secara signifikan sebesar 0,000 dengan interval kepercayaan 95% antara kelompok kontrol dan perlakuan. Arang aktif ampas kopi secara signifikan dapat mengikat kadar kadmium dalam air. Heavy metal cadmium (Cd) is still polluted the environment. It can be found in the wells around the landfill. This paper has been published in IOP Conf. Series: Journal of Physics: Conf. Ser1i2e3s415161748(9200‘1’8“)”012058 Lead (Pb) were toxic. Lead found in pipes, batteries, paint, dyes ceramic glaze, gasoline, and final waste disposal. The robusta coffee grouds residues had high carbon, nitrogen etc which can adsorb heavy metal.The purpose of this study is to analyze the robusta coffee grounds residues to adsorb the Pb in the water. The method of this research is a True Experimental using completely randomized design (CRD) method. There were control groups (C) and three treatments groups (T1; T2;T3; 5gram/ litre; 8gram/ litre; 10gram/ litre) with six repetitions. The robusta coffee ground residues were contacted for 2 hours.Total samples were24 samples which analyzed each parameter of the Pb with Atomic Adsorption Spectophotometry Analysis. The results showed that the more coffee ground residues that are exposed, increasingly turbid. The KS test showed that data were a normal distribution (sig=0,324). One way ANOVA test; Turkey post Hoc showed that there was sig difference between the control and treatment (F=4,326, Sig= 0,017). There were sig difference between control and treatment 2 and 3 (Sig=0,019; Sig=0,038). Robusta coffee grounds residues can reuse to adsorb the Pb pollution in the water. It can be a solution for treating the lead pollution in the water because of it easy to the application.

The purpose of this research is to determine the optimal dose of the addition of red spinach powder to artificial feed on the brightness of clown loach. This research was conducted at Aquaculture Laboratory Building 4 Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences of Universitas Padjadjaran from April to May 2020. This research method is experimental with a Completely Randomized Design consisting of four treatments and three replications. The red spinach powder addition treatment used 0%, 2%, 4%, and 6% of the feed amount. The parameters observed are color value as primary data by using Toca Color Finder, while the growth, survival rate, and water quality as support data. Color assessment results were analyzed using the Kruskal-Wallis test, if there were significant differences, Z test would be performed. Growth data and survival rates were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). Because the F test results were not significantly different, the Duncan test was not carried out. The results showed that the addition of  6% red spinach powder is the best treatment with an increased color brightness value of 5,63.

The purpose of this research was to investigate the population density of Alona sp. on yeast media with different concentrations. The study was conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments and 3 replications for 21 days. The treatments given were A: 10 ppm yeast, B: 5 ppm yeast, C: 1 ppm yeast, D: horse manure, and E: well water. The initial stocking density of Alona sp. for each treatment was 15 individuals/300 mL of well water. The water quality parameter measured during the study was temperature. The results of the one-way ANOVA test showed that there were significant differences between treatments on the density level of Alona sp. (p <0.05). Tukey's further test showed that treatment B was the best with a density of Alona sp. as many as 8059 individuals/300 mL of well water. The temperature during the study, in the morning was 26 ± 0.52°C and in the afternoon was 26 ± 0.46°C.

This research aims to determine the effectivity of seaweeds extract (Ulva lactuca) as an antifungal in the control of kerling (Tor sp) infected with saprolegnia and achlya fungal. The research was conducted in May 2018 at the MIPA Laboratory, Syiah Kuala University and the Hatchery of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Teuku Umar University. The research method was experimental with a completely randomized design (RAL), 3 treatments and 3 replications. The treatment given was immersion of kerling fish seeds infected with fungi in a solution of sea lettuce extract with the concentration of treatment namely: K (control) = 0 ppm, P1=5 ppm, P2=10 ppm, dan P3=15 ppm. Phytochemical test results showed that the content of bioactive compounds contained in ethanol extract of seaweed were alkaloids, steroids and phenolic/tannins. Ethanol extract of sea lettuce can inhibit the growth of Saprolegnia and Achlya in vitro by forming a clear zone of 5.7 mm (medium). The highest percentage of fish survival rate was in the treatment (P3) concentration of 15 ppm.

Meat elasticity is a characteristic of meat that has the power to resist pressure from the outside and return to its original shape. Tilapia fish (Oreochromis mossambicus) has perishable properties if it hasn’t been through processing. One alternative to maintain the suppleness of the meat by using a soaking mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana L.) peel. Based on the description above this study aims to knowing the effectiveness of soaking using mangosteen peel and analyzes the concentration for the best meat suppleness. The research method used was completely randomized design using 4 concentration of treatments 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and  each with 5 replications. The results of study obtained Fcou = 72,55 ; F(0,01) = 5,29 shows that Fcou > F(0,01) so H0 is rejected, which means there is a very real difference between treatments with value concentration of 0% 5,069 N/mm2; concentration of 5% 7,574 N/mm2; concentration of 10% 10,401 N/mm2 and  concentration of 15% 13,924 N/mm2. The secondary metabolites in the mangosteen peel are effective so as to give effect to increase the tenderness of tilapia fish and the test results of the effective concentration value for the suppleness of the best fish meat according to SNI is the concentration of 15%. In this elascity test it was found thet the higher of concentration of mangosteen peel given the higher the level of elasticity of tilapia fish meat.Key Word: Elasticity, Immersion, Powder ConcentrationABSTRAKKekenyalan daging merupakan sifat daging yang mempunyai kekuatan untuk menahan tekanan dari luar dan kembali ke bentuk semula. Daging ikan mujair (Oreochromis mossambicus) memiliki sifat mudah rusak jika belum melalui suatu pengolahan. Salah satu alternatif untuk menjaga kualitas kekenyalan dagingnya dengan menggunakan rendaman kulit buah manggis (Garcinia mangostana L.). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas perendaman menggunakan kulit buah manggis dan menganalisa konsentrasi yang tepat untuk kekenyalan daging ikan mujair. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Lengkap menggunakan 4 konsentrasi perlakuan 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% dan masing-masing 5 kali ulangan. Hasil penelitian didapat Fhit = 72,55 ; F(0,01) = 5,29 menunjukkan bahwa Fhit > F(0,01) sehingga H0 ditolak yang berarti terdapat beda sangat nyata antar perlakuan, dengan nilai konsentrasi 0% 5,069 N/mm2; konsentrasi 5% 7,574 N/mm2; konsentrasi 10% 10,401 N/mm2 dan konsentrasi 15% 13,924 N/mm2. Senyawa metabolit sekunder pada kulit manggis yang efektif sehingga memberikan pengaruh untuk meningkatkan kekenyalan daging ikan mujair dan hasil uji nilai konsentrasi yang efektif untuk kekenyalan daging ikan terbaik sesuai dengan SNI adalah konsentrasi 15%. Pada uji kekenyalan ini didapatkan bahwa semakin tinggi konsentrasi kulit manggis yang diberikan maka semakin tinggi tingkat kekenyalan daging ikan mujair.Kata Kunci: Kekenyalan, Perendaman, Konsentrasi Serbuk

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of variations in the methods and models of teaching to student learning outcomes VIII SMPN2 MARGA TIGA.This research is experimental research which ofdesign completely randomized or completely randomized experimental design.The population in thisresearch is all of student VIII class in SMPN 2 MARGA TIGA2013/2014. The sample in this research is VIIIth class which totaling 34 students.In this research, conducted with three treatments of learning in a classroom.Data collection techniques in this research use the technique of the test, which tests the end (posttest) were then analyzed with the test results hipotesis. From posttest analysis results of hypothesis testing using one-way ANOVA test (Completely Randomized Design) at the 5% significance level value obtained results Fobs = 1.5244 and Ftab = 3.10 this shows that H0 is accepted and means variety of methods and learning models provide a similar impact on student learning outcomes.It can be concluded that all three treatments had similar quality if tailored to the needs of all three materials.

Yellow pumpkin is a commodity that is easily damaged so it needs for off harvest handling including preservation and processing. This study was aimed to determine the carbohydrate, protein content of pumpkin flour and get the best formulation in making cookies from pumpkin flour. The research method used was true experimental design using with completely randomized design (CRD) with variations in the addition of pumpkin flour in the treatment of P0 (60 gr), P1 (100 gr), P2 (150 gr), P3 (150 gr), P4 (250 gr) with two replications. Based on the results of the cookie test, the highest carbohydrate content in P0 treatment was 59.12% in treatment 1 and 57.61% in treatment 2 while the lowest in P4 treatment was 51.36% in replication 1 and 51.83% in replications 2, analysis of variance showed that carbohydrates in cookies significantly affected with addition of pumpkin flour, based on further analysis Duncan's test results (p < 0.00). Protein analysis test results showed that the highest protein content in treatment P4 was 8.44% replications 1 and 7.46% in replications 2, while the lowest in treatment P0 was 7.17% replications 1 and 7.44% in replications 2, analysis the variance showed that the protein in cookies had a very significant effect on the addition of pumpkin flour, based on further analysis Duncan's test results (p < 0.00). It was concluded that the addition of pumpkin flour significantly affected in carbohydrate and protein levels in cookies.Labu kuning adalah komoditas yang mudah rusak sehingga perlu adanya penanganan lepas panen termasuk pengawetan dan pengolahan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan karbohidrat, protein dari tepung labu kuning serta mendapatkan formulasi terbaik dalam pembuatan cookies dari tepung labu kuning. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah true experimental design  menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan variasi penambahan tepung labu kuning pada perlakuan P0 (60 gr), P1 (100 gr), P2 (150 gr), P3 (200 gr), P4 (250 gr) dengan perlakuan dua kali ulangan. Berdasarkan hasil uji kue cookies menunjukkan kandungan karobohidat tertinggi pada perlakuan P0 sebesar 59,12% pada pengulangan 1 dan 57,61% pada pengulangan 2 sedangkan terendah  pada perlakuan P4 sebesar 51,36% pada pengulangan 1 dan 51,83% pada pengulangan 2, analisa sidik ragam menunjukkan bahwa karbohidrat pada cookies berpengaruh nyata terhadap penambahan tepung labu kuning, berdasarkan hasil uji lanjut Duncan (p < 0,00). Hasil  uji analisa protein menunjukkan bahwa kandungan protein tertinggi pada perlakuan P4 sebesar 8,44% pengulangan 1 dan 7,46% pada pengulangan 2, sedangkan terendah  pada perlakuan P0 sebesar 7,17% pengulangan 1 dan 7,44% pada pengulangan 2, analisa sidik ragam menunjukkan bahwa protein pada kue cookies berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap penambahan tepung labu kuning, berdasarkan hasil uji lanjut Duncan (p < 0,00). Disimpulkan bahwa penambahan tepung labu kuning berpengaruh nyata terhadap kadar karbohidrat dan protein pada cookies.

The use of ovitrap with attractants modification has been known as an alternative method in controlling DHF vectors. Attractant material will be better if it uses natural ingredients that are cheap and easy to obtain and easy to manufacture. Attractant material is recommended to use natural ingredients that are cheap and easy to obtain and are easy to make. Imperata plants can be easily obtained and easily processed as attractant material. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of attractants on a laboratory scale in the form of immersion water from the straw of the Imperata cylindrica plants in various concentration levels to Aedes aegypti eggs number. Research with an experimental design using a completely Randomized Design (CRD) was conducted at the Entomology Laboratory of the Tanah Bumbu Research and Development Center, in July 2019. Treatment concentrations consisted of 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20%, control using akuades. Samples for testing using Ae. aegypti gravid mosquitoes. Treatment with 5 repetitions, carried out for 7 days. Data analyzed by normality test, Anova test, and Least Significant Differences (LSD) test. The average number of eggs at concentrations of 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% respectively was 45.00; 78.60; 129.40; and 174.00. Anova test showed Imperata cylindrica straw soaking attractant had a significant effect on oviposition of Ae. aegypti mosquitoes. LSD test results showed attractant 15% is the optimal concentration in increasing the number of eggs in the ovitrap.

Not infectious disease (PTM) have become a health problem for every country. One of the main contributors who use PTM is food control, by consuming foods that contain inulin (bengkuang tubers) and anthocyanins (dragon fruit). Intermittent food products consisting of velva become more effective because in one product already has a lot of special nutritional content of inulin and anthocyanin fibers. The design of this study was experimental with a completely randomized design (CRD). The research method uses hedonic tests, spectrophotometry for anthocyanin levels, and literature tests for inulin fiber levels. This study involved 30 panelists who were apparently students of the Nutrition Department of the Poltekkes Bandung. This product formulation consists of three dragons and bengkuang, which is counterpart 1 (30%: 70%), counterpart 2 (70%: 30%), and counterpart 3 (50%: 50%). The hedonic test results showed that the level of preference consisted of counterpart 2 and the Kruskal-Wallis test results showed differences between the aspects of color, taste, and aroma with a value of p <α and also none in the design of the texture with p> α. The level of anthocyanin product serving is 6.04 mg and can fulfill 81% of the anthocyanin requirement by consuming two serving sizes. While the level of inulin per serving amounted to 2.1 g and can meet the needs of inulin at least a day from 350% snack.
