This research is about the role of the attitude of community support for healing and positive character formation in the transgender community in Surakarta. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the background of someone who has become a transvestite, what factors behind a person become a transvestite, as well as responses and the role of the attitude of community support for healing and positive character formation of the existence of transgender communities in Surakarta City. This research is qualitative with analytical descriptive method supported by quantitative data. Data collection methods used are in-depth interviews, observation, and literature. This study found that people in general have a tendency to respond negatively. This can be seen from the attitude of the people who are ignorant, do not care or let the behavior occur. Being a transvestite is a choice that is categorized as deviant, but it is necessary to know that there are factors that cause a person to become a transvestite such as internal (psychological) factors and environmentally influenced external factors such as lack of employment and ineffective socialization by the government. Basically the decision to become a transvestite can be changed or cured. But to make it happen, of course cooperation from the community and the government is needed, including through efforts to eliminate the stigma that has been embedded in the community. One of the most appropriate ways to eliminate this stigma is through participatory approach by involving the government to help change the mindset of the perpetrators and the community. Just as a few people have begun to understand the complexity of this problem, they provide a place for transvestites or transgender to be able to take advantage of their time by shifting the focus of their activities into something positive and slowly trying to make them aware that the behavior they have done so far is wrong and deviates from their natural rules as living creatures of God's religious creation.

The literature on sustainable tourism is scant, particularly in the least developed countries. Very few studies touch upon the concept and no holistic theoretical or conceptual frameworks around the idea of sustainable tourism have been formulated. This study aims at exploring the role of tour operators in developing sustainable tourism in Pakistan and how the tour operators (TOs) conceive their role in this regard. TOs were reached through phone calls, emails, and virtual sources as face-to-face interviews were not possible due to COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions on travel by the government. In-depth interviews were conducted to gather data. Results suggest that the TOs although realize the importance of social, environmental, and economic dimensions of tourism on the communities but have no management systems in place to cater accordingly. There are no incentives in place by the government facilitate TOs to design and implement such systems. The TOs do not select a destination based on Global Sustainable Tourism Council criterion, but rather the selection of destination is mostly demand-based and profit-oriented. The study suggests that corporate profit motive is the sole criterion for decision making and is one of the major causes impeding sustainable tourism in Pakistan. The role of TOs in developing sustainable tourism is vague as the TOs do not have any systems in place to implement sustainable models. The study recommends that efforts need to be put in place to incentivize sustainable tourism in Pakistan and proper laws should be set forth by the authorities to comply by the TOs. The role of TOs is important and understood, however, there is a need to put proper systems in place.

To the dismay of today's social progressives, the Argentine Catholic church addresses the moral situation of its people but also shies away from specific political positions or other hint of secular involvement. At the beginning of the twentieth century, the church set out to secure its place in national leadership by strengthening religious institutions and withdrawing clergy from politics. The church struggled to overcome a heritage of organizational weakness in order to promote evangelization, that is, to extend its spiritual influence within Argentina. The bishop of the central city of Córdoba, Franciscan Friar Zenón Bustos y Ferreyra (1905-1925), reinforced pastoral care, catechesis, and education. After 1912, as politics became more heated, Bustos insisted that priests abstain from partisan activities and dedicate themselves to ministry. The church casts itself in the role of national guardian, not of the government, but of the faith and morals of the people.
