The principal objective of the research study is to examine the effectiveness of teaching the pronunciation of inflection in English words through the analytic-linguistic approach. The researcher followed a pre-experiment research design, especially one- group- pretest- posttest- design, which included a pretest measure followed by a treatment and a posttest for a single group after the treatment or intervention. A set of fifty multiple choice test items  was administered to the sample of 21 bachelor first year education students studying major English at Makawanpur Multiple Campus, Hetauda, Nepal in the Academic Year 2019-2020. The researcher adopted the census method also known as a statistical enumeration method wherein each and every student in the population was selected for eliciting the primary data. The result showed there was a statistically significant difference between the pretest mean score (M=20.190, SD=14.169 and N=21) and the posttest mean score (M= 25.619, SD=14.844 and N=21) of the students. The statistics of (df) =20, p< .05, the observed t-value= 4.38 and the table t-value =  2.086 at 0.05 significance level of the test showed that teaching the pronunciation of inflection through the analytic-linguistic approach was effective among the students at this campus. This study contributes to the existing body of the pronunciation of English words by highlighting that the same spelling functioning as the inflection of the English words has different pronunciation. It is shown through presentations.

This study aimed to determine the effect of student learning outcomes by applying the learningmodel Think Pair Share (TPS) on the archipelago song class VIII-I in SMP YP PembangunanGalang of the Academic Year 2016/2017.This type of research is True experimental design with pretest-Psottest Control GroupDesign. The population in the study were all second semester VIII class consisting of 3 classes.Sampling was done by random sampling. Sample chosen is a class VIII-I as the experimental classlearning model Think Pair Share, amounting to 30 people and VIII-II as a control group withconventional learning models which amounted to 32 people. The instrument used in this studyused multiple-choice test of 25 questions with four possible answers that have validator. Thestatistics are used to test the hypothesis of this study is to test t, As a prerequisite test used to testthe normality and homogeneity.Based on the post-test and analysis of data obtained an average value of 78.26experimental group and the average value of the control group 66. From the results of hypothesistesting, it turns out the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Testing the hypothesis in researchusing hypothesis testing t-test two parties and of the calculation of the statistics obtained by value t= 4.60 t the next price compared to the price ttabel with significance level of 5% was obtainedtable = 2.0 then t ≥ t table or - t ≤ - t table is ≥ 2.0 or -4.60 4.60 ≤ -2.0. Then the results of testinghypothesis Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.Based on data analysis and discussion of the results of hypothesis testing, theconclusion of this study was no significant difference in the use of learning model Think PairShare (TPS) to the learning outcomes obtained by students on track archipelago VIII-I in SMP YPPembangunan Galang of the Academic Year 2016/2017.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran teams games tournaments berbantuan power point dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model konvensional pada kelas VIII tahun pelajaran 2016 / 2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 83 orang. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu kelompok siswa kelas VIII B yang berjumlah 41 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelompok siswa kelas VIII A yang berjumlah 42 orang sebagai kelas kontrol. Data hasil belajar Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi siswa dikumpulkan dengan instrumen tes berbentuk pilihan ganda. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial (uji–t). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh thitung1,991 dan ttabel (pada taraf signifikansi 5%) = 9,727. Hal ini berarti bahwa thitung> ttabel, sehingga dapat diinterpretasikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi yang signifikan antara kelompok yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pembelajaran Teams Games Tournaments berbantuan power point dan kelompok yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model konvensional. Dilihat dari hasil perhitungan rata-rata hasil belajar Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi kelompok eksperimen adalah 32,63 lebih besar dari rata-rata hasil belajar Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi kelompok kontrol adalah 28,37, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournaments berbantuan Power Point Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas VIII.Kata Kunci : Pembelajaran Teams Games Tournaments, hasil belajar Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi. This study aimed at determining the difference of information and communication technologylearning result between group of students who had been taught usingteams games tournaments assisted by power point and group of students who had been taught using conventional model in grade VIII– academic year 2016/2017. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research. The population of this study were all students of grade VIII odd semester of academic year 2016/2017 which amounted to 83 people. The sample of this study is a group of students of grade VIII B amounting to 41 people as an experimental class and a group of students of grade VIII A which amounted to 42 people as a control class. The data of students’ learning result of information and communication technology were collected by using multiple choice test instrument. The collected data were analysed by using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics (t-test). Based on the results of data analysis, obtained t(count) 1,991 and t(table) (at 5 % significance level) = 9,727. This means that t(count) > t(table), so that it can be interpreted that there is significant difference in the learning result of information and communication technology between groups that follow Teams Games Tournament training assisted by power point and groups that follow the learning with conventional model.Observed from the calculation of average learning outcomes ofexperimental group of information and communication technology is 32.63 greater than the average learning outcomes of control group of information technology and communication 28.37, so it can be concluded that the implementation of Teams Games Tournamentslearning models assisted by Power Pointto the learning result of students’ grade VIII.keyword : Teams Games Tournaments learning, information and communication technology learning result.

In an attempt to curtail examination malpractice, the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has been generating different paper types with a different order of test items in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). However, the permutation of test items may compromise students’ performance unintentionally because constructive suggestions in theory and practice recommend that test items be sequenced in ascending order of difficulty. This study used data collected from a random sample of 1,226 SSIII students to ascertain whether the permutation of test items has any effect on the performance of students in two different subjects (Use of English and Mathematics). The study adopted the Equivalent Groups Quasi-Experimental Research Design with three independent groups. Findings emerged, amongst others, that there is a significant difference in the performance scores of prospective university students’ in use of English and Mathematics examintaions arranged in three different orders (ED, DE, R). There are no significant gender differences in the performance of students in Use of English and Mathematics based on test item permutation. However female students perform better than male students when test items are arranged in ascending order of difficulty while males perform better when test items are arranged in descending order of difficulty. It was concluded that the permutation of test items in UTME examination tends to affect the performance of students in Use of English and Mathematics. This finding has implications for the future conduct of UTME examinations and enrolment into higher education as the randomization of UTME test items changes the difficulty order of different paper types. It was recommended that other measures of curtailing examination malpractices that would not affect students’ academic performance should be adopted.

AbstractThe aim of this study was to examine the effect of scenario-based learning (SBL) compared to traditional demonstration method on the development of patient safety behavior in first year nursing students. During the 2016–2017 academic year, the Fundamentals of Nursing course curriculum contained the teaching of demonstration method (n=168). In the academic year 2017–2018 was performed with SBL method in the same context (n=183). Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) that assesses the same three skills was implemented in both academic terms to provide standardization so that students could evaluated in terms of patient safety competency. It was found that students’ performance of some of the steps assessed were not consistently between the demonstration and SBL methods across the three skills. There was a statistically significant difference between demonstration method and SBL method for students’ performing the skill steps related to patient safety in intramuscular injection (p<0.05) Our results suggest that the integration of SBL into the nursing skills training may be used as a method of teaching in order to the development of patient safety skills.

Penelitian ini berusaha untuk mengetahui pengaruh kematangan emosi terhadap sikap tasamuh dari mahasiswa semester delapan Pendidikan Agama Islam STAIN Salatiga pada tahun akademik 2013/2014. Penelitian ini ingin menjawab: 1) Bagaimana kematangan emosi siswa; 2) Bagaimana sikap dari tasamuh siswa; 3) Apakah ada pengaruh pada sikap tasamuh menuju kedewasaan emosional dari siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan populasi 45 responden. Data X dan Y dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Kematangan emosi mahasiswa tergolong sedang dengan prosentase (53,33%); 2) Sikap tasamuh siswa dengan persentase yang relatif tinggi (48,89%). Data dianalisis menggunakan korelasi product moment. nilai R-xy diperoleh 0,528 lebih besar dari nilai r-tabel dengan tingkat signifikansi 5% dari 0,294. Sementara di tingkat signifikansi 1%, r-hitung adalah 0,380. Dari hasil tersebut terlihat bahwa r-hitung lebih besar dari r-tabel maka Ha diterima, sehingga hasil 0,528 adalah signifikan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis; 3) "Ada pengaruh kematangan emosi terhadap sikap tasamuh siswa" diterima berdasarkan analisis uji. This study sought to determine the effect of emotional maturity toward the attitudes of tasamuh of eight semester Islamic Religious Education students of STAIN Salatiga in the academic year 2013/2014. This research wants to answer: 1) How is the emotional maturity of the students; 2) What is the attitude of tasamuh of the students; 3) Is there any influence on the attitudes of tasamuh toward emotional maturity of the students. This study uses quantitative methods. The population is 45 respondents. The data X and Y are collected using questionnaires. The results showed: 1) Emotional maturity of the students are classified as moderate by percentage (53.33%); 2) The attitude of tasamuh of the students with relatively high percentage (48.89%). The data is analyzed using product moment correlation. R-xy values obtained 0.528 greater than the value of r-table with significance level 5% of 0.294. While in significance level 1%, r-count is 0.380. From the results it appears that r-count larger than r-table so Ha is received, thus the results of .528 is significant. It can be concluded that the hypothesis; 3) "There is the influence of emotional maturity toward attitude of tasamuh of the students" are accepted based on test analysis. Kata kunci: emosi, tasamuh, mahasiswa

This study aimed to examine the differences in mathematics retention of grade V Primary school between students who were taught using guided discovery learning model and inquiry learning model. The method in this study was a quasy experimnetal method. The population in this study was all students in grade V at SDN Pongangan and SDN Sukomulyo in 2018/2019 academic year which in total were 202 students. Samples were selected by purposive random sampling. The sample was divided into two group which are experiment 1 and experiment 2. The instrument used to collect mathematics retention data was a written test. The Data was analysed using descriptive statistic analysis and t-test. The results of data analysis at 0,05 significance level and df = 130 showed that t-count (2,276) > t-tabel (1,978) and also p-value (2-tailed) 0,024 < 0,05. So, it mean that there was a significant difference in mathematics retention between students who were taught using guided discovery learning model and inquiry learning model.

This study aimed to determine the effect of perception and motivation to Students Career Interests in Taxation of Departement of Accounting Faculty of Economics at the State University of Jakarta. This study used 75 students S1 Departement of Accounting, State University of Jakarta which is still active academic year 2010. Data used in this study is primary data and selection of samples using a convenience sampling method. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression analysis at a significance level of 5%. The first phase of testing the validity and reliability of the statement of each variable. The second stage, performing variable regression perception and motivation towards a career in the field of taxation the interest of students. The results of testing the feasibility of the model shows that the two independent variables, namely perception and motivation affect the career interests of students in the field of taxation Accounting Department of Economics at the State University of Jakarta simultaneously.

The Present study aims at Finding out the (The effect Buxton Model in acquiring Geographical Concepts and Retaining them for Second intermediate class students ).    A partial control experimental design with post test experimental control groups, The sample is deliberately selected from first AL-Rusafah Directorate General of Education in Baghdad.    Intermediate school AL.khulfau AL.Rashedeen for boys is the assigned school for  the experimental work. Two sections are randomly selected from the lst stage(B)is assigned as the experimental group where while (C)is assigned at the control group,.   The total number of sample (67) male students distributed into (33) students in the experimental group and(34) students in the control group .    The two groups are equalized in the following variables ; prior knowledge ,age , IQ, ,students scores in Geography on the previous academic year . Several external factors are controlled during the experiment.           The teaching material is specified in three chapters selected from the prescribed textbook for the Second intermediate stage which is entitled for the academic year 2013 -2014 in Iraq Content analysis is done to identify the major and miner concepts which totaled (97) concepts .In the light of the concepts, behavioral objectives are formulated totaling(51) ones based on Blooms taxonomy on the following levels ;identifying, recognizing , applying.(40)lesson plans are prepared ,20 per group. and prepared test for acquiring geography concepts including (50) Test items, after three months ,at the end of the experimental work. T-test formula for two independent samples is used to process data and find out results . show the following; There are statistically significant difference on a level of significance of (0,05) in acquiring geography concepts between the two groups in favour of the experimental group. There are statistically significant difference on a level of significance of (0,05) in retaining geography concepts between the two groups in favour of the experimental group.

The Covid-–19 pandemics caused significant damage to the system of physical education of students. The purpose of this  research was to create a practical model of general physical endurance of first-year university male students in the context of the pandemic of the corona virus. The testing was carried out during physical education classes, which took place according to the first academic year curriculum. The time of overcoming the 2000 meters course on the stadium treadmill was measured in September and in March of the academic year 2019-2020. During the research stage, the indicator of general endurance of students of all the three universities statistically significantly deteriorated. According to the results of ANOVA the absence of a statistically significant difference in the value of the indicator of general endurance between students of three universities both at the beginning and at the end of the research stage was revealed. Virtually all the sectors of economy such as finance, banking, hospitality and other businesses have grown up substantially in the past few years due to the growth of mobile service sector. From the inception of Reliance Jio in Madhya Pradesh, It has occupied a large number of customers in terms of no. of subscribers. This creates unrest among the telecom service operators operating in Madhya Pradesh. As the market moves forward, customer satisfaction becomes imperative for service firms to remain combative at marketplace. To study customer satisfaction, it is mandatory to study socio demographics of customers. Hence efforts have been made in this research paper to study the satisfaction level of customers from several demographic variables. This is a hypothetical research study in which primary data is collected from 500 active mobile users of Bhopal (MP), India. One way ANOVA and T-test were used to analyze the data through SPSS 21.0 software. Specific variables of American customer satisfaction index (ACSI) and European customer satisfaction index (ECSI) were being studied with different socio demographic variable of customers to move ahead in present research study. Significant difference was found in level of customer satisfaction with the age group and type of connection in telecom sector.
