Abstract - Expert system is a software package or computer program package that is intended as a provider of advice and help tools in solving problems in certain areas of specialization such as medical, education, and so on. The development of the development of expert systems in the biomedical field is one thing that is expected to improve the quality of human life. One of them is by applying an expert system by using the Forward Chaining method to diagnose psychotic disorders due to substances. This study aims to increase knowledge about how to make an inference engine to control the process of identifying solutions using the Forward Chaining method, as well as designing expert system applications using the Forward Chaining method to diagnose substance-induced psychotic disorders. The eye is one of the organs in the body that has an important role in human life, because the eye is one of the organs that has a function as vision in carrying out every activity. Eye health really needs to be maintained by diligently consulting or having your eyes checked by a doctor so that vision remains clear and there are no eye problems when looking at objects around us. However, eye health is often neglected, so that many various diseases can attack the eye. If not handled properly, diseases that attack the eye can cause visual disturbances and lead to blindness. Therefore, the eye must be kept healthy and kept clean because it is a very important organ of the human body. The purpose of building this expert system is to assist the public in diagnosing eye diseases from the symptoms that are being felt. This expert system will be a way out of eye problems that are suffered by the community, In this way people no longer have trouble going to the doctor. All data and facts to be processed are obtained from an expert, the method used in diagnosing this eye disease is the forward chaining method to apply the rules of the 28 symptoms and 8 diseases described by the expert. The results of the diagnosis using the Forward Chaining method is a very good level of accuracy in determining the type of eye disease that is suffered by the community and can provide early prevention for users who use this expert system.

Nowadays technological developments are increasingly having a positive influence on the development of human life, including in the health sector. One of them is an expert system that can transfer an expert's knowledge into a computer application to simplify and speed up the diagnosis of a disorder or disease in humans. The purpose of this final project is to design an application to diagnose diseases that occur during pregnancy which is caused by the existence of these pregnancies to simplify and speed up the diagnosis of diseases experienced by pregnant women. This study uses the forward chaining method. By involving experts in this expert system analysis according to current needs. Users are given easy access to information on several types of pregnancy disorders and their symptoms, as well as consultation through several questions that the user must answer to find out the results of the diagnosis. While experts are facilitated in system management, both the process of adding, updating and, deleting data.

Coastal cattle are livestock that have economic value, such as selling beef and cattle breeds. Cow disease can cause the quality of its sales to decrease. This study aims to help cattle breeders to determine the type of cow disease, from the symptoms that exist in these cows. So that the prevention of the risk of cow disease can be avoided. All data used are sourced from experts. In determining the type of disease in cows, the Forward Chaining method is used. The fact-finding technique is then put into the predetermined rules to get a conclusion. Making a website based expert system makes it easy for breeders to access it online. The accuracy of the system has been tested by related parties so as to produce fast and efficient information. From research, it can help breeders in diagnosing the symptoms experienced by cows and the test results can detect the type of disease accurately.

The eye is one of the five senses that has a very important role in human life, namely as the organ of vision. If there is interference with the eye or there is a disease, it is very influential on human vision. Its mean that we can conclude that eye is very important in our lie and must be keep for our body.  The purpose of this research to planning and develop the diagnose of expert system about diagnosing of diseases in the eye which include disease information about symptoms or the solution and have role to replace and imitate the process of the reason from an expert in solve the specification problem. the method used for reasoning is forward chaining method. The result of this research is expert system of diagnosing eyes diseases in humans which computerized who can be used for giving information and have benefit in diagnosing disease.

Limited time in consulting becomes an obstacle for midwives in diagnosing complaints in pregnant women, especially those who are already in the III trimester and approaching the labor process. Misdiagnosis results in inaccuracies in the provision of solutions and actions. Initial treatment that corresponds to the complaints of pregnant women especially the third trimester is expected to reduce mortality rates in the mother and fetus. Expert System can be a timely solution with not too long so as to improve the quality of examination on midwives. The methods used are identification, primary and secondary data collection, forward chaining data analysis combined with bayesian, and evaluation with the calculation of the percentage of system success. Samples taken by 20 patients and 4 patients were declared unsyed because they had only one complaint. Meanwhile, 16 patients had some complaints that complied with the Rules. A total of 11 out of 16 patients or about 70% had valid results between the diagnosis of experts/midwives with the system. It can be concluded that the system works well to diagnose complaints in patients with a third trimester gestational age so that midwives can provide appropriate initial solutions and treatment in reducing maternal and infant mortality.

Personality is the overall psychological and physical aspects of an individual reacting and interacting with other individuals. Personality is a prominent and often shown thing that exists in an individual. Students have different personalities, and that will affect the quality of learning. To be able to improve the quality of learning, schools need to identify and understand the personality of their students. So that appropriate learning methods can be applied and the selection of appropriate majors in tertiary institutions. To identify student personality can be done with a system called the expert system. The expert system identifies student personalities using the forward chaining method obtained from State High School 1 Candung students (SMAN 1 Candung), Agam Regency. In the forward chaining method, the reasoning process starts from the facts first to test the truth of the hypothesis. The process of finding the data starts from the premises to the final conclusion.  Creating an expert system for identifying student personalities using the PHP Programming Language and MySQL Database. The result of testing this method is knowing the personality of students so that appropriate learning methods can be applied, majors recommendations and advice on the type of work according to the personality of the student. Personality expert system has been able to identify the personality of students in determining learning methods and choosing majors as well as suggestions for the type of work. Personality expert systems have been able to identify student personalities in determining learning methods and selection of majors as well as suggestions for types of work. This expert system is already running well and can be recommended to help students, teachers and schools in improving the quality of learning in schools

Edamame grade is determined based on edamame quality parameters with several parameters that are quite a lot. The process of deciding edamame grade is relatively complicated and challenging. To determine the edamame grade, an experienced expert in the field is needed. With limited grading experts, the design of expert systems for grading edamame can help users or companies to determine edamame grade.  This study aims to design an expert system for determining edamame grade, which can determine the quality of edamame accurately. The Design of an expert system in this research uses the forward chaining method.  The stages of designing an expert system include problem identification, knowledge acquisition, building a data flow diagram, compile the database, building a decision tree diagram, and developing a user interface. The results showed that the expert system has been verified and validated well. Verification test results show that all the menu buttons on the expert system application are functioning correctly. Then, the validation results also show that the edamame quality output produced by the expert system is compatible with the expert solution, meaning that the expert system's output data is by following with the results of the decision given by the expert. In testing the validation of determining the quality is appropriate.  The results of the verification and validation of the edamame grading expert system show that the expert system has produced satisfactory outcomes. Expert system output is compatible with the solution provided by the expert.

Pulp and periacal disease is happening in Indonesia. This is because knowledge and people awarness to take care their dental health is in low level, so that a few of people in Indonesia do not know types, symptoms, and the solution, how to resolve the problem. Altough pulp and periacal disease have a bad impact like the patient's quality of life. Besides the cost of expensive dental care and have an impact on a person's overall health, such as can cause catastrophic diseases such as stroke, heart desease, and kidney. Based on these conditions, very important to make a web-based expert system to diagnose this problem with forward chaining methode. The expert system is created using  Dreamweaver C56, PHP, CSS, and MySQL. Through this system application, people will find out the information and get consultations about pulp and periapical disease easily and quickly, so that it can be dealt with quickly and correctly.
