The energy of germination and laboratory germination of Echinacea purpurea seeds have been studied, as it is the sowing qualities of seeds that are the basis for successful reproduction of the species in culture. Peculiarities of germination of culture seeds depending on harvest terms are studied. It is noted that the seeds of 2017-2018 are not conditioned and are not recommended for cultivation in medicinal crops in order to obtain quality medicinal raw materials according to generally accepted standards, while the seeds of 2020 harvest have a fairly high quality and belong to the basic category. The article also presents data on the effect of disinfection with ethyl alcohol on the sowing qualities of Echinacea purpurea seeds, the tendency to increase germination energy and germination in the variant with treated seeds. Seeds, endowed with a high rate of laboratory germination, belongs to the category of original and is recommended for further propagation. Such seeds may have good field germination, although this figure will be slightly lower in any case, because the laboratory for growing seeds creates optimal conditions, which is not always possible in the field. This is usually associated with the influence of biotic and abiotic factors: temperature, humidity, light, conditions and timing of sowing, soil fertility, its infestation by pests and pathogens, and so on. In the course of studies of germination energy and laboratory germination, attention was paid to the degree of damage to the seeds of Echinacea purpurea by mold fungi. On average, when determining the energy of germination, the degree of damage by molds was weak, but when determining laboratory germination, a large degree of damage to achenes by molds was additionally manifested. When comparing the degree of fungal infestation of treated and non-disinfected seeds, we noted a low degree of infestation (for disinfected achenes) and a medium degree of infestation (for non-disinfected seeds). When determining the germination energy of disinfected echinacea seeds, the signs of purple lesions were generally invisible.

The high rate of divorce, especially in West Sumatra, is an important note for religious extension workers to increase their role and quality in providing counseling. Therefore, fast and progressive action is needed to overcome this. Another phenomenon revealed from the above data is that the divorce case is dominated by the wife's lawsuit. Therefore, it takes the role of religious counselors at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) to increase family resilience. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of religious instructors in increasing family resilience in the city of Padang from physical, social, and psychological aspects. Data collection techniques used interviews and were analyzed with the Miles and Huberman models following the stages of data reduction, data display, conclusion. The role of religious counselors in increasing family resilience has been carried out quite well, although not yet maximized because the raw materials are not yet available, the methods used are only advice and lectures and have not been evaluated continuously.

The present study addresses recrystallization process in Al – Mg 1565ch system alloy samples (Russian classification). The samples are taken from cast ingot, produced by continuous casting in DC mold and homogenized based on standard commercial mode. Then the samples were heated to 350–500 oC and rolled in lab mill with different process schedules to cover the entire range of temperature and strain rates, applied in rolling. After rolling the samples were annealed at 350, 400 and 450 oC, their resultant microstructure was examined by optic microscope. The rate of new grains nucleation, their growth speed, analytical notations, describing recrystallization kinetics, were obtained within the frames of the study to be applied during this alloy recrystallization modelling; the main alloy-specific recrystallization features were identified and compared with alloy АА5182 (classification of American Aluminum Association). It is demonstrated, that 1565ch recrystallization has a number of specific features in case of as-cast structure deformation with low strain levels (ε = 0.14÷0.56): first, high rate of new grains nucleation; second, low grain growth speed to the extent of complete process blocking. Optimal recrystallization temperature is identified as 400 oC, at this temperature the process is over 75% complete, the temperature drop (350 oC) causes incubation period extension, while recrystallization subsides at recrystallized structure volume of about 30%, in case of temperature rise (450 oC) the structure is saturated with fine new grains nuclei, probably, emerging during heating, but due to high intensity of recovery and polygonization, recrystallization driving force drops to zero, the process stops with mixed structure and max recrystallized grains volume of 20%. This research was funded through a grant by the Russian Science Foundation, Project 18-79-10099.

Waste orange peel represents a heavy burden for the orange juice industry, estimated in several million tons per year worldwide; nevertheless, this by-product is endowed with valuable bioactive compounds, such as pectin, polyphenols, and terpenes. The potential value of the waste orange peel has stimulated the search for extraction processes, alternative or complementary to landfilling or to the integral energy conversion. This study introduces controlled hydrodynamic cavitation as a new route to the integral valorization of this by-product, based on simple equipment, speed, effectiveness and efficiency, scalability, and compliance with green extraction principles. Waste orange peel, in batches of several kg, was processed in more than 100 L of water, without any other raw materials, in a device comprising a Venturi-shaped cavitation reactor. The extractions of pectin (with a remarkably low degree of esterification), polyphenols (flavanones and hydroxycinnamic acid derivatives), and terpenes (mainly d-limonene) were effective and efficient (high yields within a few min of process time). The biomethane generation potential of the process residues was determined. The achieved results proved the viability of the proposed route to the integral valorization of waste orange peel, though wide margins exist for further improvements.

:Germination capacity and germination energy are usually the most frequently used quantitative parameters of forest tree seed. With seed ageing both parameters decreased and the rate of the collapse is given by tree species, age of tree and its seed and biotic and abiotic factors. Relatively little attention has been paid to the age of seed. As it was found, the longevity of the main tree species remained relatively high, and spruce (Picea abies [L.] Karsten and pines (Pinus sylvestris L.) from the investigated areas across the Czech Republic maintained minimally one third of germination capacity or germination energy during the 10 years with the exception of larch (Larix decidua Mill.) where germination capacity decreased almost to zero after 10 years. Although the germination energy and germination capacity decreased significantly, it is possible to use the seed in the case of shortage of the seed of better quality.

Ternary lithium-ion battery is currently one of the hot cathode materials. In this paper, with acetate of nickel, manganese and cobalt as raw materials and lithium hydroxide as precipitation agent, LiCo1/3Mn1/3Ni1/3O2 was prepared by chemical coprecipitation method. LAND charge-discharge testing was used to study the electrochemical performance of materials at different rates (0.5C, 1C, 2C), and AC impedance spectroscopy was employed to study the rate performance and reasons of cyclical stability. The results showed that the stable SEM film formed under high rate was the main reason for the increased rate.

Collections of the predominantly wingless urothripine Thysanoptera from leaf litter in Australia show little variation in external morphology within any one population, although the variation between populations is frequently very considerable. Morphological segregates in which winged individuals are known show little variation between populations, and these segregates can be regarded as distinct species. However, morphological segregates in which winged individuals are not known exist in the field as a complex of similar but distinctive local forms. Taxonomy is concerned with the interpretation in biological terms of morphological difference, but the significance of these distinctive populations cannot be determined at present, whether they are species, subspecies, or local variants. However, this high rate of incipient speciation of the Urothripini is evidently related, at least in part, to the low degree of dispersive activity of the wingless forms. The resulting complicated pattern of variation at the species level is reflected in the unsatisfactory generic classification, and several of the characters which have been used for distinguishing genera are here shown to be of little value. As a result four genera, Bournieria, Ramachandraiella, Transithrips, and Verrucothrips, are here placed in synonymy with Baenothrips, and a key is provided to the remaining 13 genera of Urothripini from the world. An account is given of the eight species in five genera known from Australia, including two new species: Baenothrips caenosus (Stannard), comb. nov. ; Baenothrips moundi (Stannard), comb. nov. ; Biconothrips reedi Stannard; Habrothrips curiosus Ananthakrishnan; Octurothrips pulcher Priesner; Stephanothrips occidentalis Hood & Williams; S. barretti, sp, nov.; S. ferrari, sp. nov. In addition, knechteli Priesner is transferred to Amphibolothrips, comb. nov., and erythrinus Pelikan is transferred to Baenothrips, comb. nov.

Cruciferae (Brassicaceae) is one of the most important metasperms. Kale Brassica includes economically important vegetable, forage, oil-bearing, ornamental crops and it is widespread in the world. This is explained by variety of food organs, high yield, environmental plasticity, different ways of food use and valuable biochemical composition. One of the most important ways to improve the efficiency of vegetables is seen as increasing the number of cultivated vegetables and their varietal diversity. The authors speak about necessity to breed new varieties and hybrids of cabbage crops, not represented in the state register, as well as missing types of varieties in order to expand the range of vegetables. The paper points out that cultivation in the Asian part of Russia requires the varieties and hybrids of all cabbage crops that combine high productivity and complex resistance to biotic and abiotic stressors, eco-friendly, high-quality, with a different period of vegetation, including for horticultural use. The authors focus on increasing the nutritional value of vegetables and higher number of biologically active matters for making functional products. It is important and necessary to search within each cabbage for forms that combine productivity, resistance to biotic and abiotic factors when being grown in different environmental and geographical areas with a valuable biochemical composition. This allows to use efficiently cultivated and recommended for cultivation in the Asian part of Russia types and forms of Brassica L. vegetables. It is necessary for dietetic nutrition and raw materials in medical industry. All varieties of cabbage plants are supposed to be significant and reliable basis for improving population health and life expectancy taking into account existing environmental problems in the regions of Asian Russia.

This is empirical research focusing on the impact of recycling sustainability on Organizational performance in Nigeria. To achieve the objective of this study, a sample of 10 publishing houses in four major cities in Delta State was adopted, and these cities include Asaba, Warri, Sapele, and Oghara. Given that Nigeria is the regional publishing powerhouse in West Africa with newspaper publications selling in the whole region, likewise, textbook publishers in Nigeria dominate the regional market. The industry contributes about 10% of the GDP and is one of the fastest-growing in the manufacturing sector. Unfortunately, Nigeria does not produce most of the raw materials for publishing. All paper materials used in Nigeria are imported, and the costs are rising with the reliability of the sources dwindling. In addition, the publishing industry in Nigeria is faced with a high rate of waste and returns. The study focused on the impact of adopting recycling sustainability as a possible solution to the dwindling raw materials, increasing costs, and high rate of returns. It used a stratified random sampling approach and a descriptive research design.

The one-dimensional MoS2/carbon nanofibers (1D MoS2/CNFs) are synthesized by electrospinning using exfoliated MoS2 nanosheets and polyacrylonitrile as raw materials. The exfoliated MoS2 nanosheets with size of about 150 nm are encapsulated in carbon nanofibers, and the free-standing MoS2/CNFs can be easily cut into flexible tablet and directly used as binder-free anode for lithium storage. The resultant 1D MoS2/CNFs exhibit a very high reversible capacity of 700 mAh g-1 at 100 mA g-1 after 50 cycles, high rate capacity (450 mAh g-1 at 1000 mA g-1 after 200 cycles) and good cycle stability.
