The study was to determine the tw0 m0de 0f instructi0nal meth0ds 0n students’ perf0rmancein W00dw0rk. The p0pulati0n 0f the study c0nsisted 0f 232 TC II students 0fferingW00dw0rk in Niger State. The study sample was made up 0f 192 TC II W00dw0rkTechn0l0gy students. The quasi-experimental research design which utilized n0n-rand0mized pre-test, p0st-test, experimental-c0ntr0l gr0up design was empl0yed. Mean, t-test, ANOVA and ANCOVA statistics were used t0 analyze data. The findings revealed that:there was a significant difference between the p0st-test Mean sc0re 0f the c0ntr0l gr0uptaught with c0nventi0nal teaching meth0d and that 0f the experimental gr0ups taught withK0lb’s experiential learning m0del and Gardner’s multiple intelligences learning m0del. Itwas rec0mmended that w00dw0rk teachers sh0uld be enc0uraged t0 empl0y K0lb’sexperiential learning m0del and Gardner’s multiple intelligences learning m0del m0re intheir teaching meth0d in 0rder t0 increase the level 0f students’ perf0rmance in W00dw0rk.

The research aimed to describe the effectiveness of the use of caricature media in learning writing of an argumentation paragraphin the tenth class of SMA Negeri 1 Bontoramba Jeneponto. The research design was an experimental research by using quasi-experimental research design. The research subjects were the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Bontoramba Jeneponto in 2015/2016 academic years which consisted of 131 students. They were divided into four classes. The data were analyzed by descriptive and t-test inferential statistics. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the learning writing of an argumentation paragraph by using the environment media and the writing ability of argumentation paragraph by using the caricature media, which was effective tobe used as a learning medium to write an argumentation paragraph at the tenth class of SMA Negeri 1 Bontoramba Jeneponto. Therefore, it can be concluded that the caricature media were effectively used in learning writing of argumentation paragraph.

The purpose of this research is to prove the benefits of isotonic drinks promised by the manufacturers. This is a quasi-experimental research design involving 20 non-athlete male students. The data were analyzed using t-test.From the data analysis, it was found that there was a significant difference between aerobic endurance before and after drinking isotonic drinks, tobserve (5.398604) > ttable (1.729) at level significant α = 0.05. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that isotonic drinks has a significant effect towards students’ aerobic endurance.

The life situations are always changing. Everyone is unique and our philosophies of life, abilities and attitudes are totally different from others. Adjustment is essential for successful life and it is a lifelong process, which never ends. The aim of the study was designed to study the effect of Sankeertan on level of adjustment of adolescent girls. Forty adolescent girls of 16 to 19 years were taken through accidental sampling. Quasi experimental research design was applied for this research and t-test was used for statistical analysis. Obtained result was significant at 0.01 level of confidence. It concludes that Sankeertan plays a vital role in improving the adjustment level of the adolescent girls.

Testing, Demonstrating, Practicing and Revising (TDPR) technique is a technique which includes testing, demonstrating, practicing and revising activities to know and improve the students’ pronunciation ability. Deriving from the importance of pronunciation, the main purpose of the current study is to investigate the use of Testing, Demonstrating, Practicing and Revising (TDPR) technique to improve the students’ ability in pronouncing plosive consonants. Based on the purpose of the study, a series of classroom activities with TDPR technique was done. In gathering the data, the researcher applied a quasi-experimental research method. Pre-test and post-test were distributed to 72 students of SMKN 1 Praya Tengah. The result of the study has revealed that there was a significant difference between the mean of pre-test and the post-test, t-test 5.10 ˃ t-table 1.994, it means that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected meanwhile alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. It proved that the TDPR technique can improve students’ ability in pronouncing plosive consonants.

Iraqi grade five pupils often lack proficiency in fractions and lack motivation in learning fractions through the conventional method of teaching. Research has shown that the concrete-representational-abstract (CRA) module helps primary pupils to learn fractions and give them better motivation to learn fractions. The study employed a quasi-experimental research design and two intact grade five classes from an Iraqi school in KL, Malaysia were randomly assigned to the experimental group and control group respectively. The results showed that there was a significant difference in proficiency in fractions and motivation in learning fractions between the groups and favoring the CRA module.

Mastery of Arabic vocabulary is the main key to success in learning Arabic. By using media as a bridge in distributing material, it will change the mindset of students who think learning Arabic is difficult to understand. At MI Muhammadiyah Sribit, the conventional Arabic learning process inspired researchers to conduct experimental research on the use of word hoop game media to know the differences in students' Arabic vocabulary mastery between the experimental class and the control class. This study uses a quasi-experimental research type with a quantitative approach. The research subjects were students of class IV A as the experimental class and students of class IV B as the control class. The process of collecting data using test results, observations, and interviews was then analyzed using the paired-sample t-test and independent-sample t-test with the help of SPSS. From the results of the study, it was found that the results of the application of game media in learning Arabic can improve students' vocabulary mastery. Based on the results of the independent sample t-test, the posttest significance value in the experimental class was 0.008 < 0.05, and the posttest value in the control class was 0.009 < 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the mastery of Arabic vocabulary for the experimental class and the control class. Abstrak: Penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab merupakan kunci utama keberhasilan dalam belajar bahasa Arab. Dengan menggunakan media sebagai jembatan dalam pendistribusian materi, maka akan merubah pola pikir siswa yang menganggap pembelajaran bahasa Arab sulit untuk dipahami. Di MI Muhammadiyah Sribit proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab konvensional menginspirasi peneliti untuk melakukan penelitian eksperimental penggunaan media permainan word hoop untuk mengetahui perbedaan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab siswa antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas IV B sebagai kelas kontrol. Proses pengumpulan data menggunakan hasil tes, observasi, dan wawancara kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji t sampel berpasangan dan uji t sampel independen dengan bantuan SPSS. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa hasil penerapan media game dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab dapat meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata siswa. Berdasarkan hasil uji independent sample t-test diperoleh nilai signifikansi posttest pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,008 < 0,05 , dan nilai posttest pada kelas kontrol sebesar 0,009 < 0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab untuk kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol.

The activeness of students in the process of teaching and learning activities needs attention so that the learning process can produce maximum results. Seeing the inactivity of class VII students of MTs Taruna al-Qur'an Yogyakarta in the Arabic language learning process initiated researchers to conduct experimental research on the use of the mysterious box and card games (KOKAMI) in the Arabic learning process which aims to determine differences in student activity between experimental groups with the control group after the application of KOKAMI media. This type of research is quasi-experimental research (Quasi-Experimental) using a quantitative approach. The research subjects consisted of class VIIA students as the experimental class and class VIIB students as the control class. The data were obtained based on the results of observations, interviews and questionnaires which were then analyzed quantitatively descriptively using paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test with the help of SPSS16. The results showed that Arabic learning activity increased after the implementation of KOKAMI media. Based on the independent sample t-test, it was obtained a post-experimental value of 0.017 <0.05 and a post-control value of 0.017 <0.05, it can be concluded that there was a significant difference between the students' Arabic learning activeness in the experimental class and the control class. Abstrak: Keaktifan siswa dalam proses kegiatan belajar mengajar perlu mendapat perhatian agar proses pembelajaran dapat membuahkan hasil yang maksimal. Melihat kurang aktifnya siswa kelas VII MTs Taruna al-Qur’an Yogyakarta dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab menginisiasi peneliti dalam melakukan penelitian eksperimen penggunaan media permainan kotak dan kartu misterius (KOKAMI) dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan keaktifan siswa antara kelompok eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol setelah diterapkannya media KOKAMI. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasi Experimental) dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subyek penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas VIIA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas VIIB sebagai kelas kontrol. Data diperoleh berdasarkan pada hasil observasi, wawancara dan kuesioner yang kemudian dianalisis secara kuntitatif deskriptif menggunakan uji paired sample t-test dan independent sample t-test dengan bantuan SPSS16. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keaktifan belajar bahasa Arab meningkat setelah diterapkannya media KOKAMI. Berdasarkan uji independent sample t-test diperoleh nilai post-eksperimen sebesar 0,017<0,05 dan nilai post-kontrol 0,017<0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara keaktifan belajar bahasa Arab siswa kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol.

This experimental research was motivated by the low Arabic learning motivation in class VIII MTsN 9 Bantul which was caused by the use of monotonous learning methods. This study aims to find out students' Arabic learning motivation after the application of Grammatical Hunting language educational game method and to compare the Arabic learning motivation of the experimental class and the control class. This study used a quasi-experimental research type. The sample of this research was students of class VIII B and VIII C of MTsN 9 Bantul Yogyakarta consisting of 60 students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of this study indicated that: 1) The student's Arabic learning motivation increased after the application of Grammatical Hunting language educational game method based on the results of the paired sample t-test with a significance value of 0.000 0.05, Ha was accepted. 2) There was a significant difference in the learning motivation of the experimental class and the control class, based on the results of the independent sample t-test with a significance value of 2.042 ≥ 2.001, Ha was accepted. This method could increase students' motivation to learn Arabic. This study contributed to the use of varied learning methods, so that qawā'id learning would become an enjoyable learning.

The study investigated the effect critical reflection exerted on students’ motivation of learning EFL critical reading.  In this respect, the present study conducted quasi-experimental research design. 32 participants were involved in the control group while 31 were in the experimental one. According to the pre-intervention questionnaire results by using independent samples T-test test of data analysis, participants of the control and the experimental groups were almost homogeneously motivated while learning critical reading although random assignment was not possible. In similar with the pre-intervention questionnaire, 30 questions were also asked to participants (control and experimental groups) as post-intervention questionnaire to evaluate to what extent participants improved their motivation of learning EFL critical reading after practicing critical reflection. The post-intervention questionnaire results proved that critical reflection has the effect in enhancing students’ motivation of learning EFL critical reading regarding independent samples T-test test of data analysis.

The purposes of this research were to determine: (1) is there a significant difference between the mathematical deductive reasoning abilities of students before and after learning of modeling the way (2) whether learning of modeling the way can improve the mathematical deductive reasoning abilities of students. The research was a quasi-experimental research, with one group pretest-posttest design. The location of this research was in MA NW Kabar, Sakra Sub-District, East Lombok Regency. The sample of this research were students of class XI MA NW Kabar. Instrument of this research was the mathematical deductive reasoning abilities test. The data of this research was analyzed using descriptive statistics with paired sampel t-test. The results of the research indicated as follows: (1) There is a significant difference between the mathematical deductive reasoning abilities of students before and after learning of modeling the way; (2) Based on the average and percentage of the mathematical deductive reasoning abilities test of students, the average of pretest is 49.48 with 40% of the students have the mathematical deductive reasoning abilities with good category, the average of posttest is 68.09 with 80% of the students have the mathematical deductive reasoning abilities with good category, it shows that the learning of modeling the way can improve the mathematical deductive reasoning abilities of students.
