Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini merupakan kegiatan yang dilakukan sebagai wujud pembinaan kepada masyarakat. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada anggota pramuka di SMA Negeri 5 Mataram. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dalam rangka melakukan pembinaan materi berbicara di depan umum pada anggota pramuka. Pelatihan berbicara di depan umum ini dimaksudkan agar para anggota pramuka di gugus depan 06.101-06.102 Ambalan Udayana-Ratu Sima, mampu berbicara di depan umum dengan bahasa yang baik dan benar serta menjunjung kesantunan berbahasa, hal ini dimaksudkan untuk membentuk karakter anggota pramuka sejak dini, sehingga di kemudian hari mereka menjadi unggul di masyarakat dalam hal positif. Kegiatan tersebut dilaksanakan sebanyak 4 kali pertemuan dengan rincian: (1) Pertemuan I: Penyampaian materi tentang keterampilan berbicara di depan umum; (2) Pertemuan II: Pelatihan berpidato dan memandu acara; (3) Pertemuan III: Pelatihan berdiskusi dan memimpin rapat; (4) Pertemuan IV: Evaluasi kegiatan.Kata Kunci : Pembinaan, Karakter, Berbicara Abstract:. The community service activities is a activities performed as a form of coaching to the community. This dedication was held on members of Pramuka in Senior High School 5 Mataram. This devotion activities implemented in order doing coaching matter of public speaking on the members of Pramuka. This public speaking training is intended in order for the members of the Pramuka in gugus depan 06.101-06.102 Ambalan Udayana-Ratu Sima, being able to speak in public with proper grammar and correct as well as the respect politeness language, it is intended to forming the character of the members Pramuka since the early. So that later in life they became superior in the community in terms of positive. The activities carried out by as much as 4 times, with details: (1) the first meeting I: delivery of material about public speaking skills; (2) the second meeting II: addressing the hourlong training; (3) the third meeting III  : discuss and lead training; (4) the fourth meeting IV : evaluation activities.Keywords: Development, Character, Speaking.

Community Service Activities in the form of Mental Health Therapy Training for Adolescents is one form of community service in the form of seminars aimed at conveying opinions or something new to participants, namely BK and teachers of Vocational High School in Sidoarjo with the hope that participants will get something new to be developed to become one thing that is broader about mental health therapy in adolescents. The activity was carried out on April 7, 2021 at the Health Polytechnic of Kerta Cendekia, Sidoarjo with the target being BK teachers at the Senior High School and Vocational High School levels in Sidoarjo. Before the activity was carried out, there was a process of preparing activities for 3 weeks before the activity was carried out, starting from the selection of extension materials to submission to related parties. As an evaluation, the activity was attended by BK teachers at the Senior High School and Vocational High School in Sidoarjo. Participants participated in these activities with enthusiasm and conducive, the activities can be carried out on time smoothly.

This paper reports on an attempt to increase students’ exposure to communicative English in a senior high school environment. Despite common awareness of the importance of exposure “to develop students’ communication abilities” (MEXT, 2011, p.1), research shows that activity-based all-English classes are not always conducted. Other research has also revealed that even with classes taught entirely in English, the total hours are not enough for the acquisition of basic skills of English. Therefore, in order to increase exposure to communicative English, I conducted morning and afternoon homeroom periods in English for two years [EHR]. In addition, one student per lesson gave a one-minute speech in English during the morning HR every day. Most of the students reported that EHR was instrumental in developing their comprehension and speaking skills, and at the end of each school year, they chose to continue EHR in the following school year. 本稿では、高校の授業外で生徒が英語でコミュニケーションをする時間を設けた実践例を紹介する。コミュニケーション能力を育成するためには、実際に英語でコミュニケーションをする機会が必要である。しかし現場では必ずしも英語で授業が行われているわけではないとの報告がある。また、仮に全授業をオールイングリッシュで行ったとしても、基本的なコミュニケーション能力を養成するのに十分ではないという研究もある。そこで、実際に英語を使う時間を増やす目的で、朝と帰りのホームルームを2年間英語で行った。また朝のホームルームで1日一人の生徒が「英語1分スピーチ」を行った。年度末のアンケートでは、生徒が英語ホームルームの成果を実感し、次年度も継続したいと望んでいることがわかった。

The third mission of a university is a community service. Based on this mission, this paper presents the activity of community service. The activity was training for senior high school students and teachers. The subjects of the training are actuators, IoT, and IP address. These components or subsystems are very important basic industrial instrumentation for further automation. These subsystems are very correlated with each other. Some actuators are electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic types. There are many applications of IoT and IP addresses, such as smart grids and communications.

The activity of speaking or known as public speaking is a scary thing for students. Although they are often asked to practice presentations in front of the class, the technique of delivering public speaking is often not paid attention to. There are several techniques that should be mastered in public speaking so that the delivery can be conveyed well to the audience. This time, the implementation of PKM aims to provide knowledge about public speaking skills, improve speaking skills, mentally prepare students to speak in front of crowds, and equip students to enter lectures or work.  The method presented in this activity is lecture and practice.with 20 students from SMK Bina Nusa Slawi. Students are also provided with modules to make it easier when delivering and students can also repeat the material at home. Students are also given directions regarding the correct way of presentation in Indonesian and English in accordance with the rules of public speaking. In addition to theory and practice in the classroom. Students are also directed to observe several public speaking figures through Youtube channel. In general, community service activity at SMK Bina Nusa Slawi are going well. Students' enthusiasm is extraordinary, as evidenced by the fact that 80 percent of students believe that having public speaking skills and increasing self-confidence are important. Students feel helped by this activity because they gain knowledge about public speaking and presentation techniques that can be used to support presentations in class or as a provision for later in the world of work.

Abstract There are still a few handouts created by the teachers. In fact, teachers feel lazy to make a handout to succeed their teaching and learning process, especially civic teachers who are still low in understanding how to make and design their own handout. A handout is an instrument that teachers supposed to writing it. By writing a handout, teacher can explore his material based on the problems faced in the class. That is way; the Team thought that we need to give them something to train them in writing their own teaching handout. This community service was given to civic teachers of senior high school who has the important role in tranfering knowledge about civic subject. This activity had some sessions, there were; lecturing, discussion, questions answer and feedback. It hopes that by understanding the way in designing a teaching handout, they will be encouraged to make their own handout to support their teaching learning process in the classroom. ?é?á Key words : a teaching handout, a civic subject ?é?á

This community service was a training in writing descriptive text for junior high school students in Joboan village, Probolinggo city. The method of this community service covered four stages: a) analyzing, b) planning and developing the content, c) implementing and d) training. In analyzing stage, the writer found problems faced by the students in writing descriptive text. In planning and developing the content stage, the writer developed method to write descriptive text by utilizing picture and guided question. With this pandemic situation, in implementing stage, the writer gathered 10 participants by applying health protocol suggested by the Government. Training stage was done for three days, 20-22 of July 2020. In the first day, the writer gave explanation related descriptive text. In the second day, the participants started to practice writing descriptive text by using picture and guided question. Feedback was given in the third day. The results of this training were shown by the presence of all participants three days in a row, they also gave responds and asked questions enthusiastically in the training process. The participants no longer faced difficulty in writing descriptive text since they knew that picture and guided question can help them write descriptive text better. The Program of this meeting was composed of three papers on the following subjects: The Slide Rule in the Junior High School, The Slide Rule in the Senior High School, and The Slide Rule in the Junior College. The first paper advocated that the slide rule should be studied in the seventh, eighth and ninth grades. No explanation of the foundation principles of logarithms was mentioned, and only the simplest operations of multiplication, division, proportion, squares and square roots were explained. If the student starts to study an instrument when he is young, even though he doesn't understand all the reasons, he will be ready for the further study of the foundation principles upon which the slide rule is based when be gets to the senior high school and junior college. When the pupil begins the study of logarithms in the third year of high school then he will be ready to understand fully all the reasons for any procedure with the slide rule.

<p class="p0">This community service was held for students at Ora et Labora Senior High School in Tangerang, who needed education in using and making organic soap, especialy soap that does not pollute the environment and is also good for washing hands. This activity was completed by holding a training and doing an experiment to make soap using extracts of Nathopanax scultellarium and Piper betel leaves which contain secondary metaboliites compounds with anti-bacterial and antioxidant activities. The aim of this training was to introduce the students to soap ingridients and daily-life applications of medicinal natural products. The soap made is herbal soap with natural anti-bacterial and antioxidant properties. This herbal soap is also easily degradble by natural microbes, so it is safer for environment. The training to make soap can increase student's knowledge at Ora et Labora Senior High School about soap with extras of natural ingredients, the use of soal as an easy way to live a healthy life through the washing-hands-with-soap initiative, and the awarness about the importance of preserving the environment. </p><p class="p0"><strong>Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: </strong></p><p>PkM ini dilaksanakan bagi siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas Ora et Labora yang memerlukan edukasi pemilihan/penggunaan dan pembuatan sabun yang ramah lingkungan untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan Cuci Tangan Pakai Sabun (CTPS). Kegiatan dilakukan dalam bentuk pelatihan dan praktek membuat sabun menggunakan ekstrak daun mangkokan dan daun sirih yang banyak mengandung senyawa metabolit sekunder yang berkhasiat sebagai antibakteri and antioksidan. Dalam pelatihan ini, muridmurid dapat mengenal bahan-bahan pembuatan sabun serta mengenal penggunaan bahan alam berkhasiat obat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Sabun yang dibuat adalah sabun herbal yang berkhasiat antioksidan dan antimikroba alami. Sabun herbal ini juga mudah didegradasi oleh mikroba alami sehingga lebih aman bagi lingkungan. Pelatihan pembuatan sabun herbal dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa menengah atas Ora et Labora tentang sabun dari ekstrak bahan alam, penggunaannya melalui gerakan Cuci Tangan Pakai Sabun (CTPS) sebagai cara mudah hidup sehat, dan pentingnya menjaga kelestarian lingkungan.<br /><br /></p>

Classroom Action Research is one effort that can be done by professional teachers in improving the quality of learning. The purpose of community service is to improve teachers' understanding in understanding PTK and can carry out PTK. This activity is intended for math teachers who are members of MGMP in High School. The form of service activities carried out in this activity is in the form of material delivery, practice of making proposals and consulting tasks. The workshop activity was attended by 30 high school mathematics teachers in Solok City. The results of this activity manifested 30 class Action research proposals.Keywords: PTK, MGMP, Mathematics Teachers.�AbstrakPenelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) merupakan salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan guru profesional dalam peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran. The community service activity is conducted in the form ofa counselingabout the use of GeoGebra-aided modul in integral application learning.This activity aims to add knowledge about the use of GeoGebra-aided modul in mathematics learning especially integral application learning to mathematics teachers. The implementation method consists of four stages namely preparation, action, evaluation and report. This one day activity were attended by 26 mathematics teachers from elementary school, junior and senior high school and vocational school in Balikpapan at the 7th Floor G Building of Balikpapan University. The presented material consists of the use of GeoGebra-aided modul in integral application topic namely area of plane regions and volume of solids of revolution. This community service activity run well and smoothly and in accordance with the planning. Based on the carried activities, it is expected for mathematics teachers to create learning modules that appropriate with their students� conditions in the class and integrate various multimedia to support their mathematics learning process.Keywords: modul, geogebra, integral application
