Artistic communication is the interaction between the viewer and the work of art. Its success is the highest goal of an art mediator, whose role is to establish and maintain a dialogue between the subjects of artistic communication. n this regard, art mediation is understood by the authors of the article as a participatory practice that teaches visitors of art museums and galleries the language of art and its interpretation. This view is confirmed by a review of the concept of artistic communication in scientific literature, as well as an analysis of the practice of art mediation, its basic principles (such as openness, polyphony and the use of an individual approach by an art mediator) are revealed on the example of the Krasnoyarsk Museum Biennale «Negotiators» in the Krasnoyarsk Museum Center.

Aim. The aim is the considering of the general trend in relations between the two countries in the context of China’s opposition to Western pressure. Methodology. General scientific group methods (analysis, synthesis, deduction, induction); as well as special methods: content analysis of scientific literature; factual analysis, retrospective analysis method. Results. Chinese military philosophy is implemented in China’s «soft power» strategy. In relations with Russia, China makes no exceptions from the general philosophical principles of interaction with Western civilization. The principles of China’s military philosophy contradict forecasts of the possibility of a military alliance with Russia. The theoretical significance of the study lies in the fact that relations between Russia and China are viewed from the standpoint of the basic principles of the military philosophy of the PRC.

Between 1929 and 1930 the Der Kreis journal hosted a debate among art historians and museum directors on how art copies were changing the museum landscape. The so-called Hamburger Faksimile-Streit constitutes a crucial moment in the Weimarian theoretical debate on the categories of copy and original, culminating a few years later in Benjamin’s well-known essay on the work of art. After examining the theses of the main participants in the debate, this article focus on the position of curator and museum director Alexander Dorner – the only one advocating for the non-superiority of originals over copies in art museums – and on his relationship with Walter Benjamin’s later theories.

The review article examines the basic principles of coping strategies for dealing with stress. More important coping strategies are considered. Several new copying strategies have been described, missing in the scientific literature. These strategies are often used by stressed patients without realizing that these are unhealthy coping strategies that often deepen the problems rather than solve them. The psychologist's job is to identify and discontinue them if there is a clear desire on the part of the client. Some of these copying strategies are Changing live communication with virtual communication, Acceptance of foreign culture as a way of life, Self-deception (self-delusion), Topping or giving up food.

The paper discusses ethical guidelines in relation to the conservation of historical monuments made of stone. The presented rules consider the building stone specificity and its susceptibility to various corrosion factors and the character of deteriorated areas in that kind of historic monuments. The basic conservation rule sounding Primum non nocere is deconvoluted to more particular principles like: (i) to preserve authentic historical matter as a carrier of artistic, scientific and historical value of the object, (ii) to provide minimal scale of intervention, (iii) to provide the reversibility of the methods and particularly materials used from conservation or reconstruction works, (iv) to provide distinguishability of reconstructions parts and (v) to provide the integrity of the work of art. The adaptability of these particular rules to the of conservation of stone artistic artefacts is also presented.

The introduction precedes the publication of the results of scientific research in the field of history and theory of art, as well as in the field of the most important conceptual problems of modern humanities and social sciences. The major current problems in the field of world and Russian art are considered, the main trends in the development of modern humanities and social sciences are determined. The introduction presents a theoretical position that should reveal the methodological approaches to the analysis of works of visual and musical art. The research is based on the basic principles of the modern theory of art, which states that a work of art is always the result of complex interaction in two forms: 1) the result of an interaction of an artist (master) and an art material; 2) the result of the interaction of a work of art as a material thing and a recipient (viewer, listener). The task of an art historian is to become an intermediary between the recipient and the work of art. This mediation in world philosophy is called maieutics. The maieutic function of the humanities and social sciences is revealed in all the studies, the results of which are published in this thematic issue

Exhibition practices in art museums The text is taken from a thesis for a Master of Arts degree which the author presented in 1990 at Bergen University, Norway. The first part (chapter 3 of the thesis) deals with the German art historian Alexander Dorner (1893-1957), who was director of the Landesmuseum in Hannover from 1923 to 1936. He devoted himself to a methodical renewal of the art exhibitions in his museum in close cooperation with Walter Gropius and the artists of the Bauhaus group at Weimar. Both his theoretical background (Hegel, Riegel, Goldschmidt) is described and his conviction that a work of art is basically a historical document and that it must be understood as part of the mentality of its age, not only be seen as an object for aesthetic consumption. His important book Oberwindung der «Kunst», published in 1947 (during his exile in New York) is presented as well as his exhibitions in the Hannover museum, of which Das abstrakte Kabinett produced with El Lissitzky and Raum der Gegenwart have become famous.

Summary The most common technological device found in organisations of cultural heritage is a handheld guide. This device can simultaneously perform several functions, and its integration in permanent expositions has significance both for the operation of organisations of cultural heritage and experience of visitors when they visit a museum or a gallery. It should be noted that art museums and galleries encounter a task to present often static and difficult to understand at first sight works of art in an interesting fashion. Therefore, in this study, the main functions of a handheld guide as a technological device as well as its benefits, problems, and application in art museums are analysed. In the first part of the study, various functions of handheld guides, their importance, the meaning produced for the organisation of cultural heritage, and experience of a visitor are analysed based on scientific literature. Problems of integration of handheld guides and strategic steps that should be taken to ensure a successful integration process are reviewed. In the second part, four cases of Lithuanian art museums are presented. All museums that participated in the survey were analysed by collecting observational data, communicating with the managers of the organisations, and analysing the experience of museum visitors using the handheld guide. Scientific literature presented in the article substantiates the importance of handheld guides in museums and possible problems of integration of such devices. The study conducted in Lithuanian art museums reveals the fact that handheld guides are significant devices that help improve the experience of a museum visitor, but it is also observed that handheld guides have not yet become an integral part of a visit to a Lithuanian art museum.

The severity of disease ranges from an asymptomatic infection or mild illness to mild or severe pneumonia with respiratory failure and/or death. COVID-19 dramatically affects the pulmonary system. This clinical practice guideline includes pulmonary rehabilitation (PR) recommendations for adult COVID-19 patients and has been developed in the light of the guidelines on the diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19 provided by the World Health Organization and Republic of Turkey, Ministry of Health, recently published scientific literature, and PR recommendations for COVID-19 regarding basic principles of PR. This national guideline provides suggestions regarding the PR methods during the clinical stages of COVID-19 and post-COVID-19 with its possible benefits, contraindications, and disadvantages.
