Scientific articles are scientific papers of research results communicated in scientific publications, such as journals, magazines, or other publications. In schools, especially teachers who teach Bahasa Indonesia, are required to be able to motivate students to increase their reading interest in literature, because by studying literature students can get various benefits for their lives. Therefore, a teacher is required to be able to guide students to give appreciation for literary works, especially poetry. However, the reality in the field, teachers have difficulty teaching poetry musicalization. Because in addition to a calm understanding of literature itself, an understanding of music is also very important. This Community Service Activity aims to provide students with understanding and provide provisions for the ability to create poetry musicalization as an alternative in appreciating literature, especially poetry. The method used in this activity is in the form of workshops delivered with lectures, question-and-answer, and practical techniques. To find out the extent of student acceptance and understanding, as well as student abilities, at the beginning and end of the training an assessment or evaluation is carried out by filling out the pretest and posttest sheets. Based on the results of the tests that have been conducted, it is known that the participants experienced an increase in their understanding of the concepts of literary appreciation, poetry appreciation, and poetry musicalization from 64% to 100%. Scientific articles are scientific papers from research results communicated in scientific publications, such as journals, magazines, or other publications. Librarians as functional personnel are required to make a positive contribution to the nation's change, one of which is to produce scientific papers published in scientific publications. The community service activities aim to provide understanding, improve and provide the ability to compile research results and the ability to write scientific articles to librarians in Pekanbaru. The method used in this activity is in the form of workshops delivered with lecture techniques, question and answer, and practice. To find out the extent of participants' acceptance and understanding, as well as the ability of participants, at the beginning and end of the training an evaluation or evaluation is carried out by filling in the pretest and post-test sheets. Based on the results of the tests that have been conducted, it is known that the participants experienced an increase after training in writing scientific articles. On the understanding of the concept of scientific articles increased by 30.75%, while the ability of strategies and scientific article writing techniques increased by 29.64%. in the training participants were very enthusiastic and active in participating in training activities writing scientific articles from beginning to end.

This community service activity was carried out with the aim of increasing the professionalism of senior high school teachers at SMAN 7 Mataram through Classroom Action Research (CAR). This training activity is intended for teachers at SMAN 7 Mataram. The implementation of activities is presented in a workshop approach through lectures, discussions, questions and answers, and simulations. The presentation includes material on CAR, data analysis in CAR accompanied by several examples of proposal drafts and scientific publications related to CAR. The very high motivation of the participants was seen during the implementation of community service activities, in addition to the very positive response of the participants with an enthusiasm level of 90% seen during the implementation of this community service. The level of teacher satisfaction is very high with this activity and they have high hopes that further activities will be held as assistance for CAR activities in schools and are able to produce scientific papers that are worthy of publication.

Writing scientific papers is an important activity to improve teachers' quality, competence, and professionalism. Its implementation is marked by, among others, self-improvement through scientific research in the form of Classroom Action Research. During teaching and learning activities, teachers can research by developing various instruments and learning strategies. However, teachers rarely put their research results in writing in research reports and scientific articles. This community service activity aims to assist teachers in compiling Classroom Action Research reports and articles and explaining tricks to publish Classroom Action Research articles in reputable national journals. The implementation of the activities uses the methods of training, discussion, and direct mentoring so that the teacher can feel the process. This service activity received a good response, with the teacher's enthusiasm during the exercise, active discussions, and scientific reports and articles compilation. In the final discussion of this community service activity, teachers are very interested in publishing the results of their research, and it's just that teachers lack information about reputable journals. Through this activity, the ability of teachers to research and publish their research results can become practical innovations in the world of education, especially classroom learning.

The purpose of community service this time is first, helping the teacher's difficulties in writing scientific articles compiled from the results of Class Action Research (PTK) that has been done. Many results are obtained in teacher PTK and need to be published in order to be a reference for teachers and other educators. Second, for the promotion and class of teachers who have been promulgated in Permenegpan No. 16 of 2009 and Permendiknas No. 35 of 2010. Second, scientific articles written by teachers can be used for submissions for promotions and classes of teachers that have been promulgated in Permenegpan No. 16 of 2009 and Permendiknas No. 35 of 2010. Both candies require the calculation of the credit number of functional positions of teachers for the affairs of promotion and class. One of the credit figures is obtained from scientific publications. The target of this community service activity is to help teachers to hone their skills in terms of writing scientific articles and providing assistance / clinical scientific articles until published in the intended journal. The implementation of this activity is scheduled for three months, starting from: (1) giving material, (2) introducing and providing examples of scientific articles that have been published in national and international journals, (3) accompanying teachers in writing scientific papers compiled from the results of PTK, (4) helping teachers to assess the extent to which their scientific writing is worth publishing, and (5) helping to give directions to which journals will be intended to publish their work

The waste of cassava peel is thrown away by the community, cassava peel can be used as a variety of snacks including sticks. Sticks are an attractive, varied and easier to carry, can be an innovation in increasing people's income. The service activity aims to provide knowledge, skills and guidance to PKK mothers, UMKM people in processing products made from cassava peel into sticks in Kampung Panjang Village. This activity is expected to motivate the entrepreneurial spirit towards innovative and economical efforts to increase income. The method of this activity is counseling in the form of serving the benefits of cassava peel and training and guidance on how to process cassava skin into steak. The results of the community service are obtained: a) Participants knew the benefits and importance of training cassava peel processing as an alternative to household side activities, b) Activness the participants during the service shows a positive response seen from the enthusiasm, discussion, question and answer and good cooperation. c) The achievement level of the target program has been the participants who have applied the processing of cassava peel to sticks with various flavors.

Kewajiban untuk menulis karya ilmiah bagi guru mendorong pentingnya penguasaan reference management software agar kualitas sitasi dan daftar rujukan dalam karya ilmiah sesuai dengan format yang diinginkan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi guru SMKN 6 Malang tentang reference management software Zotero dan EndNote. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan selama dua hari. Selain itu, dilakukan juga survey tentang persepsi pelatihan tentang reference management software dan operasionalnya sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan. Selain itu, survey juga berisikan tentang persepsi peserta pelatihan terhadap penyampaian materi pelatihan. Dari hasil survey, diketahui mayoritas peserta pelatihan belum memahami reference management software dan pengoperasiannya. Setelah pelatihan, mayoritas peserta pelatihan berpersepsi bahwa Zotero lebih mudah untuk digunakan dibandingkan dengan End-Note. Mayoritas peserta pelatihan berpersepsi bahwa kedua reference management software yang diajarkan, baik Zotero maupun End-Note, mudah untuk digunakan dalam menulis sitasi dan daftar pustaka. Hasil survey juga menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta pelatihan menyatakan tingkat penguasaan materi baik dan cara penyampaian materi oleh penyaji menarik serta interaksi penyaji dan peserta baik.Kata kunci: Reference Management Software; Zotero; End-Note; Sitasi.AbstractThe obligation to write scientific papers for teachers encourages the importance of mastering reference management software so that the quality of citations and reference lists in scientific papers are in accordance with the desired format. This community service activity aims to provide knowledge and skills for teachers of SMKN 6 Malang about Zotero and EndNote reference management software. The workshop activities were carried out for two days. In addition, a survey of the workshop participant about reference management software and operations was also conducted before and after the workshop. The survey also contained perceptions of workshop participants regarding the delivery of training materials. From the survey results, it is known that the majority of workshop participants did not understand the reference management software and its operation before attending the workshop. After the workshop, most of the participants perceived that Zotero was easier to use compared to End-Note. Most of the participants also perceived that the two reference management software taught, both Zotero and End-Note, were easy to use in writing citations and references. The survey results also showed that the majority of participants stated that the level of mastery of the material was good and the way the material was presented by the presenters was interesting and the interaction between presenters and participants was good.Keywords: Reference Management Software; Zotero; End-Note; Citation.

The ability to write and publish articles in scientific journals is part of the professional competence of the teacher. The problem is that many teachers have not mastered the skills of writing scientific papers. As a result, many teachers find it difficult to advance in rank, especially for promotion after IV/a. This paper describes a community service activity sponsored by Riau University lecturers which aims to help teachers improve their scientific writing skills. Community Service Activities were performed at a SMAIT (Islamic Integrated High School) in Pekanbaru, Riau. This paper further explains the concept of the workshop, the content of the workshop materials, and the effectiveness of the workshop. This workshop lasted for two months with three face-to-face training sessions. The rest was done online via the Google Classroom platform. The material content covers the basic principles of scientific writing, the steps for writing scientific journals, how to cite and make references, including how to automatically quote from reference manager applications such as Mendeley, and how to submit articles through the Online Journal System (OJS). Data from the survey conducted at the end of the community service activity showed that, in general, this activity was well and effectively carried out. The majority of participants (72.7%) stated that their motivation to write increased after attending the training. Their knowledge of writing scientific articles have improved after training. Their ability in writing scientific journals is also relatively better than before following this structured workshop.

Abstract: This community service aims to provide insight into the knowledge of writing scientific papers in an effort to improve teacher professionalism. Training The methods used in community service activities are the lecture, discussion and question, and answer method. Results of community service activities overall it can be considered quite good, seen from the presence of trainees reaching 90% of the number of MA Manbaul Bayan East Lombok teachers. The implementation procedure in the classroom action research training was rated as well based on positive responses from the participants and the level of mastery of the participants reached 75% of all stages of the implementation of the Classroom Action Research.Keywords: Classroom Action Research, Training and Assistance

The community service undertaken aims to provide training to the teachers at Handayani Senior High School about the importance of producing quality scientific papers. Specifically, this training provides the opportunity for participants to practice directly how to write scientific papers using Mendeley software for reference used in the paper. Mendeley is a computer and web program developed by Elsevier to manage and share research papers, search for research data, and work together online. Posts made with Microsoft Word, Open Office or LaTex can be linked to Mendeley software so that citations and reference lists (bibliography) can be arranged automatically. To achieve the goals and targets of this community service activity (PPM), the implementers use the lecture, discussion and practicum methods so that the trainees can easily understand the material provided in the training. The activities carried out involve the teachers at Handayani Pekanbaru Senior High School as participants. The response from the participants is positive which can be seen from their active participation during the activity. Mendeley merupakan program komputer dan web yang dikembangkan Elsevier untuk mengelola dan berbagi makalah penelitian, mencari data penelitian, dan bekerja sama secara daring. Tulisan yang dibuat dengan Microsoft Word, Open Office atau LaTex bisa dihubungkan dengan software Mendeley sehingga sitasi dan daftar referensi (bibliography) bisa disusun secara otomatis. Untuk mencapai tujuan dan target dari kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat (PPM) ini, maka pelaksana menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi, dan praktikum agar peserta pelatihan dapat mudah memahami materi yang diberikan pada pelatihan tersebut. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan diikuti oleh para guru di SMA Handayani Pekanbaru. Peserta merespon kegiatan ini dengan sangat positif yang bisa dilihat dari keaktifan mereka selama kegiatan berlangsung. Lebih jauh mereka merasa pelatihan sangat berguna dalam membantu mereka menjadi guru yang lebih produktif untuk menulis lebih banyak karya ilmiah menggunakan aplikasi Mendeley.

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru MTs DDI Padanglampe, Kabupaten Pangkep, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, dalam bidang penulisan karya tulis ilmiah, khususnya artikel ilmiah untuk publikasi jurnal. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode pelatihan. Pelatihan diberikan kepada 25 guru dan dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahapan, yakni tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Materi-materi pelatihan yang diberikan mencakup prinsip dasar penulisan karya ilmiah, karakteristik, langkah-langkah, sistematika karya tulis ilmiah, serta praktik penyusunan artikel ilmiah untuk publikasi jurnal. Pelatihan yang telah diberikan kepada guru MTs DDI Padanglampe menghasilkan artikel-artikel ilmiah yang layak untuk disubmit ke jurnal-jurnal. Selain itu, pelatihan ini mendapat respon yang sangat positif dari para guru, karena selama ini mereka masih kesulitan menyusun karya tulis ilmiah.The purpose of this community service activity is to improve the professional competence of teachers of MTs DDI Padanglampe, Pangkep Regency, South Sulawesi Province, in the field of writing scientific papers, especially scientific articles for journal publications. Activities are carried out using training methods. Training was given to 25 teachers and implemented in three stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The training materials provided cover the essence of writing scientific papers, characteristics, steps, systematic scientific papers, and the practice of writing scientific articles for journal publications. The training that has been given to Padanglampe MTs DDI teachers produces scientific articles that are ready to be submitted to journals. In addition, this training received a very positive response from the participants, because so far they still have difficulty in preparing scientific papers.
