The Kangkung village in Bandar Lampung is a village where most of the people earn a living as fishermen, so many women in the family have to go down to help the family's economy by going straight to helping the activities of catching marine products. The targets and objectives to be achieved in Community Service Activities (PKM) are giving direction to women from fishing families in the Kangkung village in order to develop their abilities and partitions in improving the family's economy. The method used in this Community Service (PKM) activity is to provide counseling and discussion in the context of socializing Providing guidance to women from fishing families in the kangkung village in order to develop their abilities and partitions in improving the family economy. With this extension, it is expected that women from fishing families in kangkung village will be able to develop their capabilities and participation in improving the family's economy. Through this training women in fishing villages are expected to realize that development and its results should be enjoyed by all levels of society both men and women ". ABSTRACTThe hijab sewing skills training program is seen as a strategic educational skill to be implemented for women because hijab sewing can be applied for their own needs or become a side business. This skill, if properly trained and mastered, can become a form of business that can help the family economy and create jobs for the community. The village community service activities were carried out in Bunsur Village, Sungai Apit Subdistrict, Siak Regency, Riau Province with the target audience is the housewives of the village. They have given basic knowledge in choosing materials for the hijab. Then skills trained was held, starting how to make pet and headscarves, cutting fabrics according to the patterns that have been made, and sewing headscarves with various existing patterns. After the stitches are finished, then an examination of the results of the stitches so that they are suitable for sale and market. Keywords: Bunsur Village, home industry, sewing training, hijab  ABSTRAKProgram pelatihan keterampilan menjahit jilbab dipandang sebagai sebuah skill pendidikan yang strategis untuk dilaksanakan bagi wanita karena menjahit jilbab dapat diaplikasikan untuk kebutuhan sendiri ataupun menjadi usaha sampingan. Keterampilan ini bila dilatih dan dikuasai dengan baik dapat menjadi bentuk usaha yang dapat membantu perekonomian keluarga dan penciptaan lapangan kerja bagi masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat desa ini dilaksanakan di Desa Bunsur Kecamatan Sungai Apit Kabupaten Siak Propinsi Riau dengan khalayak sasarannya adalah Ibu-ibu rumah tangga desa tersebut. Mereka diberi pengetahuan dasar dalam memilih bahan untuk jilbab. Kemudian diadakan pelatihan keterampilan, mulai cara membuat pola pet dan jilbab, memotong kain sesuai dengan pola yang sudah dibuat, dan menjahit jilbab dengan bermacam pola yang telah ada. Setelah jahitan selesai, kemudian dilakukan pemeriksaan terhadap hasil jahitan sehingga layak untuk dijual dan dipasarkan. Kata Kunci: Desa Bunsur, home industri, pelatihan menjahit, jilbab

Economic needs urge the men as breadwinners to become migrant workers or Tenaga Kerja Indonesia (TKI) in Malaysia, including people in Pangkah Kulon village. This community service aimed at empowering women of the migrant family to manage the family economy,  increase their awareness about the potential of seaweed products, and improve their ability to use seaweed products through fieldwork. Participatory Action Research (PAR) was applied in the form of collaboration between researchers and the community to research together, formulates problems, plan actions, and carry out activities continuously. The results showed that the women of migrant workers family gained awareness of the importance of increasing the use of seaweed products into processed materials that have economic value, and the importance of networking in the use of marine products. They also managed to establish a "Jamal Sejahtera" business group with superior production from processed seafood products, namely, shellfish, payus fish and gereh.

Abstrak Perkembangan dan perubahan bahasa secara masif telah menyentuh teritorial tradisional termasuk di Negeri Waraka yang terletak di pesisir Teluk Elpaputih Maluku Tengah, yang masyarakatnya menuturkan bahasa Wemale atau bahasa Waraka. Hanya generasi usia lanjut yang berkomunikasi dalam bahasa tersebut. Untuk itu, diinisiasi penyuluhan kepada generasi muda tentang pentingnya bahasa daerah melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) kepada para siswa di SMA Negeri 55 Teluk Elpaputih. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah singkat disertai tanya-jawab, diskusi dan mendata kosakata, serta permainan acak pasangan kartu. Hasilnya memperlihatkan bahwa kosakata bahasa daerah yang dimiliki para siswa memang sangat minim karena transmisi antara orang tua kepada anak terhambat. Namun, potensi para siswa cukup besar untuk mulai men-input kosakata sehari-hari, dan dibiasakan melalui kalimat-kalimat sederhana dari dalam keluarga. Dengan demikian, bahasa daerah memang harus diprioritaskan di rumah.   Kata kunci: pengayaan, kosakata, bahasa daerah, strategi, keluarga   Abstract   Massive language developments and changes have touched traditional territories, including in the Waraka State located on the coast of Elpaputih Bay, Central Maluku, where the people speak the Wemale language or the Waraka language. Only the older generation communicates in this language. For this reason, counseling was initiated to the younger generation about the importance of regional languages ​​through community service activities (PkM) to students at SMA Negeri 55 Teluk Elpaputih. The method used is a short lecture method with questions and answers, discussion and vocabulary collection, as well as a random game of card pairs. The results show that the local language vocabulary owned by the students is indeed very minimal because the transmission between parents to children is hampered. However, the potential of the students is big enough to start inputting everyday vocabulary, and get used to it through simple sentences from within the family. ABSTRACTThis activity was motivated by income problem in community of Taba Remanik Village which is based on the agricultural sector where prices fluctuate. So that the family economy becomes weak. The partner regions are regions that have another commodity than rubber, namely: kabau. The kabau utilization in the partner regions has not been optimized. Therefore, partners especially PKK mothers, need to be equipped with the knowledge to utilize kabau so that it has high economic value. One of the method that can be used is to process the kabau into processed crackers. This service activity consists of 4 steps, namely: observation, delivery of material, practice of making crackers and monitoring evaluation. The material presented at the service activities are: Introduction of kabau, the nutritional content of kabau, the benefits of kabau and the practice of making kabau crackers. The community service activities in Taba Remanik Village went well and the community was very enthusiastic. The result of community service activities is that the community is able to practice how to make kabau crackers properly. Keywords: Taba Remanik, Kabau, Crackers ABSTRAKKegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah penghasilan pada masyarakat Desa Taba Remanik yang bertumpu pada sektor pertanian dimana harga fluktuatif. Sehingga perekonomian keluarga menjadi lemah. Daerah mitra merupakan daerah yang memiliki komoditas sampingan selain karet, yaitu: kabau. Pemanfaatan buah kabau di daerah mitra belum optimal. Oleh karena itu, mitra terutama ibu-ibu PKK perlu dibekali pengetahuan untuk memanfaatkan buah kabau agar bernilai ekonomis tinggi.  Salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan yaitu mengolah buah kabau menjadi olahan kerupuk. Kegiatan pengabdian ini terdiri dari 4 tahapan, yaitu: observasi, penyampaian materi, praktek pembuatan kerupuk dan monitoring evaluasi. Materi yang disampaikan pada kegiatan pengabdian tersebut yaitu: Pengenalan buah kabau, kandungan gizi buah kabau, manfaat buah kabau dan praktek pembuatan kerupuk buah kabau. Kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan di Desa Taba Remanik berjalan dengan baik dan masyarakat sangat antusias. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah masyarakat mampu mempraktekkan cara membuat kerupuk buah kabau dengan baik. Kata Kunci: Taba Remanik, Kabau, Kerupuk

Community Empowerment in the Tourism Sector in Efforts Acceleration of Economic Recovery in Dambalo Village As an effort to grow the economy which is currently slumped as a result of the covid 19 pandemic. He people of Dambalo Village have various livelihoods from self-employed fishermen, farmers and some are civil servants and construction workers, all of which aim to help the family economy. and almost 60% are creative and micro business actors. Here fore, we are interested in providing creative ideas in the tourism sector, where in this village there is a pretty good tourist attraction to be developed, namely the Botudidingga tourism object, as for the tourism objects in this village that have existed since a few years ago which are located on the coast which has its own uniqueness, because to go to this place the tourists seem to go on a trip to the mountains, the vast expanse of sea surrounded by mangroves and has a courtyard to the middle of the sea makes Botudidingga tourism object the maldeves of North Gorontalo. To further beautify and attract tourists, the thematic village community service students create interesting photo spots with materials taken in the village of Dambalo itself

The devastating earthquake on 28 July 2018 in Lombok and the COVID-19 pandemic have put high economic pressure on the community. It is not only the damage to economic infrastructure that stops business activities, but also very strict health protocols, especially social distancing and avoiding crowding that make business activities impossible. Trigona bee farm has been one of the productive activities to support the family economy for the people of North Lombok since decades ago. During the Covid-19 pandemic, which has been running for almost 10 months, the activities of Trigona beekeeping are still running; in fact, the demand has actually increased. This research aims to develop the best strategy to make business scale of Trigona honey and community income increase, using the SAST (Strategic Assumption Surfacing and Testing) method and AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process). The results showed that the demand for trigona honey during the pandemic has actually increased, because this honey has a very complete nutritional content, which can be used to increase immunity against of COVID-19. There are three main problems that were faced by the trigona bee farmers to develop their business: Trigona seeds, cultivation technology, and business management. The best strategy to increase their business and income is cultivation system technology and providing added value.

Abstrak   Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui bentuk kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan tentang pengolahan sampah di Desa Tempursari, Kecamatan Tempursari, Kabupaten Lumajang, Jawa Timur pada tanggal 12-17 Juli 2017.  Permasalahan sampah menjadi permasalahan yang belakangan sangat banyak dikeluhkan oleh masyarakat secara khusus di desa Tempursari. Kerjasama yang solid antara semua stakeholder diharapkan dalam penanganan dan pemecahan permasalahan sampah ini, seperti yang sudah dilakukan oleh masyarakat Desa Tempursari dengan kehadiran Gereja Kristen Jawa Wetan (GKJW) yang menjadi fasilitator dalam penanganan sampah di desa Tempursari. Dalam rangka mengembangkan program yang sudah disusun dan akan dijalankan, GKJW bekersama dengan Universitas Kristen Indonesia Jakarta dalam beberapa hal terkait pengolahan sampah tersebut, di antaranya mensosialisasikan pemahaman tentang sampah (jenis dan dan dampak yang ditimbulkan), bagaimana mengolah sampah sesuai dengan jenisnya dan membantu mengoperasikan mesin pencacah sampah plastik dan sampah organik lainnya. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dinilai memberikan dampak positif, di mana mesin pencacah yang tadinya sudah lama tidak berfungsi menjadi beroperasi dengan operator yang yang sudah mahir atau fasih, masyarakat mampu memilah sampah dimulai dari tia-tiap rumah tangga sebelum selanjutnya diserahkan ke tim pengolah yang sudah ditunjuk oleh gereja. Akhirnya setelah kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bersama dengan GKJW Tempursari, maka program pelayanan masyarakat melalui pengolahan sampah oleh GKJW Tempursari mulai berjalan lancar.   Kata Kunci: sampah organik, mesin pencacah   Abstract The community service activities were carried out through the form of socialization and training activities on waste management in Tempursari Village, Tempursari District, Lumajang Regency, East Java. The problem of garbage has become a very recent problem that is very much complained by the community specifically in the village of Tempursari. Solid cooperation between all stakeholders is expected in handling and solving these waste problems, as has been done by the people of Desa Tempursari with the presence of the Gereja Kristen Jawa Wetan (GKJW) who became a facilitator in handling waste in the village of Tempursari. In order to develop a program that has been compiled and will be implemented, GKJW cooperates with the Universitas Kristen Indonesia Jakarta in several matters related to waste management, including socializing understanding of waste (types and impacts), how to process waste according to its type and helping operate plastic waste chopping machines and other organic waste. The results of community service activities are considered to have a positive impact, where the enumerating machines that have not been functioning for a long time become operational with operators who are already proficient or fluent, the community is able to sort waste starting from each household before being submitted to the processing team who has been appointed by the church. Finally after the community service activities together with GKJW Tempursari, the community service program through processing waste by GKJW Tempursari began to run smoothly.   Keywords: organic waste, chopping machine

Patchwork waste is an inorganic waste that is difficult to be decomposed by the environment. Patchwork waste is often a problem because many convection industries only allow patchwork waste to accumulate and then be burned and become environmental pollution because it creates smoke and gases that are not good for health. Therefore, it is necessary to reuse the patchwork waste into products that have selling power and aesthetic value. The implementation method in this service activity starts from field visits/initial observations regarding partner conditions and problems, offering solutions and program socialization, program implementation which begins with lectures on the importance of utilizing patchwork waste and demonstrations and the practice of making these products. This service activity aims to change the awareness and concern of the people of Sawah Lebar Village towards the existence of inorganic waste around the environment, especially patchwork and to equip mothers to be creative in processing patchwork waste into goods that have selling power so that they can help the family economy. The service activities that have been carried out provide education to the community around the Sawah Lebar Village, Bengkulu City, especially RT 02 about the importance of processing patchwork waste so that it becomes a product of economic value. This service activity is carried out in two stages, namely: 1. Counseling on the importance of processing patchwork waste, 2. The tutorial on processing the patchwork waste into a more useful product, namely the mask connector.

Community Service in Setro Village aims to provide assistance and training on the use of clover plants in this advanced pandemic era. The implementation method is carried out by providing training and assistance in the practice of making various preparations with clover raw materials such as making peanut brittle, cilok and clover nuggets. Where the participants presented are PKK cadres and village officials who are expected to be able to share their knowledge with other communities so that they can also be used for entrepreneurship in order to be able to help improve the family economy in difficult times like today.
