Three Stages

There are many cases of dating violence in the world and in Indonesia due to lack of of awareness and misinterpreting dating violence as a form of love. The aim of this research is to produce the Komikadp module. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) method. The research and development model used is 4D Models which was depeloved by Sivasailam Thiagarajan, Dorothy S Semmel, and Melvyn I Semmel. This Model includes four stages, namely, define; design; develop; and disseminate. However, current research and development, used three phases; define, design, and development held at SMA Muhammadiyah DKI Jakarta. Data collection used a checklist as quantitative data and descriptions as qualitative data on the assessment sheet. The Komikadp module that has gone through the three stages received a decent assessment on the aspects of content feasibility, presentation feasibility, language, comic approach in accordance with the guidance and counseling assessment, and graphics based on expert tests and field tests. Thus, the Komikadp Module is very feasible when used by high school studies.

Abstract: The purpose of this research and development is to produce a product in the form of picture storybook for learning to speak Arabic for VIII grade students of MTsN 1 Malang and describe the feasibility of the product developed. This type of research is Research and Development using the model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The types of data for this research and development are quantitative data and qualitative data. While the collection techniques carried out were filling in questionnaires and interviews. The results of this research and development are in the form of a picture story book that contains three themes, namely as-saa’ah (hours), yaumiyyaatunaa (our daily activities), and al-hiwayah (hobbies). This book contains 75 pages consisting of 6 picture stories, 26 vocabularies, 7 tarkib, and 36 exercises. Based on the results of product validation by media experts, material experts, practitioners, and students of class VIII-G MTsN 1 Malang, this picture story book product is declared valid and feasible to use. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian pengembangan ini adalah ahli media, ahli materi, praktisi, dan siswa kelas VIII G MTsN 1 Kota Malang. Jenis data penelitian pengembangan ini adalah data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah pengisian angket dan wawancara.  Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini berupa buku cerita bergambar yang memuat tiga tema yaitu as-saa’ah (jam), yaumiyyaatuna (kegiatan kita sehari-hari), dan al-hiwayah (hobi). Buku ini berisi 75 halaman yang terdiri dari 6 cerita bergambar, 26 kosa kata, 7 tarkib, dan 36 latihan. Berdasarkan hasil validasi produk oleh ahli media, ahli materi, praktisi, dan siswa kelas VIII G MTsN 1 Kota Malang, produk buku cerita bergambar ini dinyatakan valid dan layak digunakan. <p><strong>Abstract: </strong>This study aims to analyze the POE learning model for understanding physics concepts. The method used in this research is a meta-analysis. Meta-analysis is research that examines the results of similar studies. Data obtained from national and international journal documents taken by purposive sampling based on conformity with the research theme. Data analysis using quantitative data analysis with presentations and qualitative data analysis in the form of descriptions of research results found. Based on data analysis, it found that the POE learning model can improve students' understanding of concepts.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Abstrak: </strong>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis model pembelajaran POE terhadap pemahaman konsep fisika. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah meta analisis. Meta analisis merupakan penelitian yang mengkaji hasil penelitian yang sejenis. Data diperoleh dari dokumen-dokumen jurnal nasional maupun internasional yang diambil secara purposive sampling berdasarkan kesesuaian dengan tema penelitian. Perilaku menyontek merupakan perilaku yang tidak terpuji atau perbuatan curang yang dilakukan oleh seseorang yang dilakukan dengan cara menjiplak, meniru, mencontoh atau pun mengambil hasil pekerjaan orang lain baik dengan izin atau tidak disertai izin nya atau pun membuat catatan khusus yang telah dibuat sendiri sebelum menghadapi ujian atau tugas untuk mencapai keberhasilan. Banyaknya siswa-siswi terbiasa melakukan contek menyontek terhadap temannya yang mana perilaku menyontek ini menjadi penyakit didunia pendidikan Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat perilaku siswa menyontek sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik behavioral contract dan keefektifan teknik Behavioral Contract untuk mengurangi perilaku menyontek dikelas VII B. Penelitian ini menggunakan pre-eksperimental design. Eksperimen yaitu one-group pretest dan posttest design kemudian ada penelitian sesudah diberi perlakuan atau posttest dengan begitu hasilnya lebih akurat karena membandingkan keadaan sebelum dan sesudah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tingkat perilaku menyontek sebelum diberikan teknik behavioral contract dalam layanan konseling kelompok dengan skor rata-rata 210 (70%) dan sesudah diberikan teknik behavioral contract dalam layanan konseling kelompok dengan diketahui hasil skor rata-ratanya 240 (80%). Sebagai salah satu rujukan kepada Guru Bimbingan Dan Konseling untuk mengurangi perilaku menyontek siswa disekolah dengan penggunaan teknik behavioral contract dalam layanan konseling kelompok. Bagi siswa, memberi gambaran akan berperilaku jujur dalam belajar atau kebiasaan siswa menyontek karena kejujuran akan memberikan kebaikan untuk diri sendiri. Bagi mahasiswa, agar menjadi referensi kepada penelitian selanjutnya untuk meneliti permasalahan ini._________________________________________________________ Cheating behavior is behavior that is not commendable or fraudulent committed by someone who is done by plagiarizing, imitating, imitating or taking the work of another person either with permission or not with permission or making special notes that have been made before facing the exam or the task of achieving success. The number of students is accustomed to cheating on their friends whose cheating behavior is a disease in the world of ed. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of behavior of students cheating before and after group counseling services with behavioral contract techniques and the effectiveness of Behavioral Contract techniques to reduce cheating behavior in class VII B. This study uses pre-experimental design. Experiments that is one-group pretest and posttest design then there is research after being treated or posttest so the results are more accurate because it compares the conditions before and after. Based on the results of the research on cheating behavior before being given a behavioral contract technique in group counseling services with an average score of 210 (70%) and after being given a behavioral contract technique in group counseling services, it was found that the average score was 240 (80%). As one of the references to the Guidance and Counseling Teachers to reduce the cheating behavior of students in school by using behavioral contract techniques in group counseling services. For students, give an idea of behaving honestly in learning or the habit of students cheating because honesty will give goodness to yourself. For students, to be a reference to further research to examine this problem.

This research aimed to develop appropriate English reading materials for grade eleventh students in SMK Farmasi-YPFSU Medan. The research was conducted by Research and Development (R & D) design by adapting Borg and Gall’s research theory (2003) through six steps, such as: (1) Gathering data and information, (2) Analyzing data, (3) Designing new materials, (4) Validating new materials by experts, (5) Revising, and (6) Final product. The data of this research were the existing reading materials and the results of need analysis. The sources of the data were the textbook, students and teacher. The class consisted of 30 grade eleventh students. The instruments for collecting the data were questionnaire, interview, and documents. The questionnaire was analyzed as quantitative data and the interview result was analyzed as qualitative data. The questionnaire and interview was done to get the students’ need. The interview and questionnaire results prove that the students need English reading materials which cointain English for pharmacy program. Thus, developing English reading materials were procedure text. The developed procedure texts were related to the pharmacy program. The products have been validated by experts. The average scores are 4,03 from English Lecturer and 4,57 from English Teacher. It means the developing reading materials categorized as appropriate or relevant for the grade eleventh students in SMK Farmasi-YPFSU Medan.

<p>The development of science and technology influence and bring out the change in the world of education. Utilization of interactive multimedia using Macromedia Flash 8 can be used as a media of learning innovation. The developments of this research using development model 4D, among other steps are define, design, develop, and disseminate, but on this research and development only till to the develop step. The type of data in this development research is using quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data obtained from the results of validation experts and users (students and teachers). While the qualitative data in the form of comments and suggestions from validator expert and users. The data obtained from the results of validation to the validator subject matter experts by 83% with a decent sting category, media expert of 97% with a very decent katerogi, and limited testing is said to be very suitable with a percentage of 76%. From the analysis, it can be concluded that the interactive multimedia instructional is valid and suitable for the students.</p><p><strong>Keywords:</strong> development, interactive multimedia, services cycle company<strong></strong></p>

The title of the research is integrating the teaching of culture based reading and essay writing to build students cultural awareness. Two main aims were conveyed in the research. First, it was aimed at supporting students to write an essay based on what they had read (to give them background knowledge and to build their reading habit) and the second was building students cultural awareness and helping them realize that their nation actually has fabulous local wisdoms. By realizing that the nation has deeply meaningful local wisdoms, they will love and protect the nation with their body and soul. The researchers integrated this teaching of local wisdoms by asking the students to firstly read a cultural based text and discussed what they understand about the text with their friends. The text contained a description about different cultures in several countries. The titles of the texts were for example: Maintaining Eye Contact in Some Cultures, Innocent Gestures that Mean Rude Abroad, The Ethics of Gift Giving all over the World, etc. After being read, the text was then discussed in the classroom. The students gave their opinion as well as their experience related to the topic. The last activity was writing an essay with the same topic yet the culture being discussed in the writing had to be about the students own culture. The method that was employed in the research was mixed method. The qualitative data was gained from classroom observation and the portfolio of students writings while the quantitative data was gained from questionnaires distributed to the students. The results were first the students found out how to write an essay and second, they realized that their culture has high values to be appreciated. Thus the love to the nation was well established.Key Words: Reading-Writing Integration, Cultural Awareness, Essay Writing.

Indonesia has so much cultural diversity. Culture is Indonesia’s national identity. Every culture cannot be separated from the cultural values of society in ancient times. This study intends to look at the development of picture book learning media with the theme of Acehnese culture to stimulate children to get to know the local culture. This study is commonly referred to as Research and Development (R&D). The type of data in this research and development consists of two types of data, qualitative data, and quantitative data. Researchers took qualitative data by conducting observation, interviews, and documentation for the quantitative data obtained from research respondents, including material experts, media experts, cultural experts, and users of learning media. The results of this study are: (1) The development of picture book media is designed using Corel Draw to design layouts, depict illustrations, smoothing using snape, printing and giving to content/material experts, media experts, and cultural experts to determine the feasibility of the designed media. (2) The results from the content experts get a percentage of 100%, media experts get a percentage of 96%, cultural experts get a percentage of 96%, small-scale trials are 3.9%, and large-scale trials are 4.6%. Finally, this research contributes to in-depth knowledge that picture book learning media with the theme of Acehnese culture can stimulate children to get to know the local culture.

This research was aimed to develop appropriate, interesting and attractive speaking media in teaching descriptive text for seventh grade students of MTsS UMMI Lubuk Pakam. Due to the result in the form of product, this study was categorized as Research and Development (R & D) study which adapted from Borg and Gall (1989) theory with some modifications. The subject of this study was the seventh grade students of MTsS UMMI Lubuk Pakam. In conducting this research, the procedures were gathering the data and information, conducting the need analysis, designing the first draft of media, revising the media, and producing the final product as the meme comic. The instruments of collecting data were the combination of two strategies; interview and questionnaires. The interview result was analyzed as qualitative data and the questionnaires analyzed as quantitative data. These data were needs of students covering target needs and learning needs. This study developed speaking media which only focused on descriptive text taught in the odd semester. This study aims to develop and determine the feasibility of the annual program of guidance and counseling in higher education. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R & D) Research and development carried out by adopting the concept of research and development by Borg and Gall. Based on product test using inter-rater agreement models, it is concluded that the product has fulfilled the content validity of 0.76 or can be categorized as valid (good). Furthermore, based on the results of Focus Group Discussion (FGD), it is concluded that the product can be categorized well, but needs to be refined by making improvements given.

Primary Objective

More educators use serious games (e.g., games where the primary objective is learning rather than enjoyment) to enhance learning due to benefits such as improved understanding and engagement. However, using serious games within project management education is not well understood. The aim of this research is to investigate project management serious games in higher education: i) determine the extent of gamification in PMI-accredited project management programs, and ii) survey university students about their experiences playing project management serious games. Two separate mixed-method studies reveal insights about serious games in higher education and where innovations may be leveraged. Traditional statistics were used to analyze quantitative data, and coding was used to analyze the qualitative data. The results from a global survey of ten PMI-accredited university programs suggest that serious games are embryonic but promising. A case study at one university reveals that students enjoy learning through games but caution against using games to formally assess students’ learning. The paper concludes with recommendations for further research and development.
