ABSTRAKHipertensi merupakan kondisi dimana tekanan darah lebih tinggi dari 140/90 mmHg. Hipertensi yang tidak terkontrol dapat menyebabkan berbagai macam penyakit hingga berujung kematian. Namun, pencegahan hipertensi dapat dilakukan sejak dini. Kegiatan pengabdian bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan Masyarakat di desa Payatumpi Kec.Kebayakan Kab.Aceh Tengah. Kegiatan pengabdian penyuluhan dilakukan dengan cara eksplanasi dan diskusi pada 50 masyarakat yang terdiri dari 31 wanita dan 19 pria yang dikumpulkan di Kantor desa pada tanggal 21 Januari 2021. Instrumen penyuluhan yang menggunakan pamflet dan power point presentation, dan pengukuran tekanan darah. hasil yang didapat menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan promosi kesehatan merupakan salah satu upaya membantu masyarakat dalam menurunkan angka kejadian hipertensi dengan meningkatkan pengetahuan sehingga terjadi perubahan perilaku dan sikap dalam menjalankan perilaku hidup sehat.Kata Kunci: Promosi, Pencegahan, HipertensiABSTRACTHypertension is a condition where blood pressure is higher than 140/90 mmHg. The service activity aims to increase the knowledge of the community in Payatumpi village, Kebayakan district, Central Aceh district. Extension service activities were carried out by way of explanation and discussion in 50 communities consisting of 31 women and 19 men who were collected at the village office on January 21, 2021. The extension instrument used pamphlets and power point presentations, and blood pressure measurements. The results obtained indicate that health promotion activities are an effort to help the community in reducing the incidence of hypertension by increasing knowledge so that changes in behavior and attitudes occur in carrying out healthy living behaviors.Keywords: Promotion, Prevention, Hypertension

Hypertension is a condition which blood pressure is higher than 140/90 mmHg. Uncontrolled hypertension can cause a variety of diseases to the point of death. However, prevention of hypertension can be done early. Health Promotions aim to increase the knowledge of students in Ciamis District about prevention of hypertension. Health Promotion were carried out by explanation and discussion of 130 students in Ciamis District who were collected at WISMA GURU Ciamis on March 6, 2018. Before and after Health Promotion, participants were given a knowledge questionnaire and the results were processed using SPSS Version 16. Health Promotion instruments used flyers and power point presentation. Health Promotion of prevention of hypertension early has done successful and has a positive impact on increasing the knowledge of students and society.

Understanding the mechanisms that underlie BP (blood pressure) variation in humans and animal models may provide important clues for reducing the burden of uncontrolled hypertension in industrialized societies. High BP is often associated with increased signalling via G-protein-coupled receptors. Three members of the RGS (regulator of G-protein signalling) superfamily RGS2, RGS4 and RGS5 have been implicated in the attenuation of G-protein signalling pathways in vascular and cardiac myocytes, as well as cells of the kidney and autonomic nervous system. In the present review, we discuss the current state of knowledge regarding their differential expression and function in cardiovascular tissues, and the likelihood that one or more of these alleles are candidate hypertension genes. Together, findings from the studies described herein suggest that development of methods to modulate the expression and function of RGS proteins may be a possible strategy for the treatment and prevention of hypertension and cardiovascular disease.

Since few Master’s level students publish papers, we specifically designed our course in Health Promotion Research to facilitate the process. Students learned about research design and theory in the first half of the course and prepared a paper on archival data for journal submission in the second half. The content and approach for the 16 class sessions varied in approach and included lectures, discussion and homework assignments. Students worked on papers in 2 groups of three and had a chance to meet with a journal editor to discuss the publishing process along the way. Students gave a power point presentation of their findings at the end of the semester along with submitting their finished paper. Overall, students reported learning a lot in the class and they appreciated the chance to publish a paper. Suggestions for improvements included incorporating the paper topics more into the first half of the course.

Hypertension is one of the main problems in public health in Indonesia and the world. It is estimated that around 80% of cases of hypertension occur mainly in developing countries in the year 2025 from a total of 639 million cases in 2000. Problems faced by partners at this time include people in the village of Prevention rarely conducted health counseling by the Puskesmas especially about Hypertension, none Posyandu for the elderly and the community rarely exercise regularly. This community service activity was carried out in the village of Enforcement which is one of the villages located in Pelawan sub-district, Sarolangun District, Jambi. Time of implementation in February 2018. The target is the elderly.The methods used were survey, lecture, discussion, demonstration / simulation approaches. The results of this program is prevention for parents where they are able to understand of  the management and prevention of hypertension. It is recommended for Health Officers, especially in Puskesmas, to activate posyandu for the elderly so that the elderly can get health services regularly and get more information about health problems.

HEALTH COUNSELING AND PROMOTION IN THE PREVENTION OF HYPERTENSION FOR THE COMMUNITY OF BINTARAN HAMLET, BANTUL, DIY. Hypertension is a condition of increased blood pressure in arteries that increase the cause of the heart to work more than usual to circulate blood through the blood vessels. Precautions if not properly treated will cause other diseases such as sroke. This dedication is carried out with active lectures and discussions with participants. From these activities it is known that people already know the hypertension and the way of prevention but difficult to realize in everyday life. So, in the future there should be a creative health promotion effort and target the right people/groups that can bring about change.

ABSTRAK Covid-19 adalah virus baru penyebab penyakit saluran pernafasan. Untuk mendukung program pemerintah dalam upaya memutus rantai penularan Covid-19 perlu partisipasi dan dukungan dari masyarakat. Menjaga imunitas sangat penting terutama ditengah pandemi Covid-19. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pendidikan kesehatan kepada masyarakat dalam pencegahan covid 19. Upaya promosi kesehatan ini dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan berbagai metode dan media yang dapat disesuaikan dengan sasaran. Cara efektif dalam pendekatan kelopok adalah dengan metode ceramah dan alat bantu yaitu leaflet. Terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan lansia tentang covid 19 di desa Kedungan, Pedan, Klaten. Kata kunci: Lansia, imunitas, covid 19  ABSTRACT Covid-19 is a new virus that causes respiratory disease. To support government programs in an effort to break the chain of transmission of Covid-19 needs the participation and support of the community. Maintaining immunity is very important, especially in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide health education to the community in preventing COVID-19. This health promotion effort can be done using various methods and media that can be adapted to the target. The effective way in the group approach is the lecture method and assistive tools, namely leaflets. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memenuhi kewajiban dosen untuk melakukan tridharma perguruan tinggi. Untuk itu sudah menjadi kewajiban bagi dosen berbagi pengetahuan dan wawasan melalui penyuluhan pengembangan manajemen sumber daya manusia agar senantiasa berupaya mencapai tujuan organisasi dengan efektif dan efisien. Dan juga bertujuan Karang Taruna Kampung serua poncol dapat menjalankan fungsi dan perannya secara optimal sehingga mendatangkan manfaat bagi Kampung serua poncol. Pengembangan juga dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia dalam melaksanakan tugasnya sehingga lebih positif dalam berkontribusi tenaga dan pikiran untuk memajukan Kampung serua poncol.Kata Kunci : Manajemen Sumber Daya ManusiaABSTRACTThe purpose of this community service activity is to fulfill the obligations of lecturers to do tridharma of higher education.
