In an effort to support the implementation of excellent service or satisfactory then the library as an institution engaged in services need to pay attention to the necessary spatial arrangement in order to realize the prime or satisfactory conditions. Spatial design exist in the library needs to be designed specifically because it is different from the arrangement of space in general. In other words, a library should organize the library space as much as possible, so that the library visitors feel at home to linger in the library. With the arrangement of this library room in the library expected SMAN 1 Ciomas is more developed, as the foundation of educational institutions. This study aims to: 1) help develop the library space management SMAN 1 Ciomas 2) Knowing what constraints contained in the library 3) To increase knowledge, experience, recognition and observation. This research was conducted at a formal educational institution that is SMAN 1 Ciomas. The research method used is qualitative case study, respondents in this research is the head of library and librarian. The results of this study that the development of SMAN 1 Ciomas library has been there developments in the quality of infrastructure facilities through the arrangement of the library space. Keywords. Quality of education has always remained an issue for the educational researchers. It is widely believed that quality of education in Sub-Continent is below the international standards. To find out how educational institutions are adding value towards the knowledge, skills, market value and moral upbringing of students and how much students are satisfied with the environment of educational system and the quality of education they receive.Using this information, how a student counseler can benefit the student as well the organization to add value in the education process. This is a case study where a Govt. Intermediate College was selected for interviews and document analysis purpose. Findings based on general perception of the respondents, All the respondents have matriculated from Public School. The findings showed that students were really concerned about the poor discipline of their schools and generally they were not satisfied with the commitment and capability of their teachers. However, they admitted that school contributed towards their grooming and personality building.

Special Economic Zones (SEZ) is a region with certain limits within the jurisdiction of Indonesia which is set to perform economic functions and obtain certain facilities. One SEZ developed in North Sumatra Province and included in the National Strategic Area (KSN) Medan - Binjai - Deli Serdang - Karo is SEZ Sei Mangke. SEZ Sei Mangke is defined in PP 29 of 2012 on 27 February 2012 and is the first KEK in Indonesia which was inaugurated its operation by President Joko Widodo on January 27, 2015. KSN Mebidangro itself is an area of priority spatial arrangement because it has a very important influence nationally against state sovereignty, defense and state security, economic, social, cultural, and / or environment, including areas designated as world heritage. This research is an evaluative research intended to find out the end of a policy program in order to determine recommendation of last policy by using CIPO model which includes four stages: (1) context, (2) input, (3) process, and (4) output. The research method used is case study by applying qualitative research that aims to make an accurate interpretation of the characteristics of the object under study. Findings on the evaluation context indicate that the program is generally running well, but some aspects of synergy and policy optimization as well as financing support from central and local government need to be improved. In the input evaluation, and evaluation process some aspects need to be improved because the findings show the weakness of some aspects is the result of lack of synergy and optimization of policy and support from local government. Interesting from the evaluation of ouput is that with some weaknesses in the input and process components, it turns out the evaluation findings ouput show Seek Mangke SEZ development can still run well. The recommendation of this research is to improve the quality of policy synergy / program of SEZ Seek development by improving several aspects that are categorized in each stage of evaluation

To determine the quality of teacher performance, an educational institution must conduct a process of evaluating the performance of its teachers. MTsS YASPI College Foundation Labuhan Deli is one of the educational institutions that always improves the quality of education in schools. Teacher performance appraisal at Labuhan Deli YASPI schools is still done conventionally, so there are many assessment criteria and it takes a long time to evaluate the teacher's performance. This study aims to optimize the teacher performance appraisal process to be faster and more precise. The method used is Profile Matching. The results of this study can determine the teacher's performance more precisely by 100%. So that this research can be recommended as an appropriate system in evaluating teacher performance in schools

PTIs are encouraged to participate in entrepreneurial activities that are appropriate for their area and ability. Thus, this qualitative case study where a semi-structured interview with the selected Malaysian Private Tahfiz Institutions (PTIs) was conducted to identify entrepreneurial activities to pay operational and management costs, to analyze the obstacles, limitations, problems faced and to assess the balance of entrepreneurial activities in educational governance of these religious, educational institutions. The findings demonstrated that involving PTIs in entrepreneurship can cover ranging from 40 to 50 percent of total operating costs. A qualidade de vida dentro do ambiente organizacional não tem refletido de forma positiva para as pessoas com deficiência, pois além de suas características comuns, portam outras que as limitam a executar tarefas que são simples para as demais. Nesse sentido, o estudo tem como objetivo geral analisar a qualidade de vida no trabalho das pessoas com deficiência em instituição de ensino privado. A pesquisa tem caráter qualitativo, descritiva e comparativa. Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevista semiestruturada, participaram da pesquisa três instituições públicas de ensino e uma instituição privada de ensino. Os principais achados foram que nas instituições públicas de ensino não haviam pessoas com deficiência, não podendo assim analisar a qualidade de vida dos mesmos nessas instituições. Já na instituição privadas existem pessoas com deficiência, ter esse tipo de colaborador é de iniciativa da organização e não somente pelo fato de existirem leis que as obrigam ter uma percentagem desse tipo de colaborador. Esse tipo de colaborador é tratado como os demais colaboradores, desde a etapa de recrutamento e seleção até a avaliação de desempenho. Porém, os mesmos sofrem preconceitos de alunos e colaboradores da própria instituições de ensino. Para que isso diminuía, são propostas ações internas de conscientização.  The quality of life within the organizational environment has not reflected positively on people with disabilities, because in addition to their common characteristics, they carry others that limit them to perform tasks that are simple for others. In this sense, the study aims to analyze the quality of life at work of people with disabilities in private school. The research has qualitative, descriptive and comparative character. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews. Three public educational institutions and one private educational institution participated in the research. The main findings were that in public educational institutions there were no people with disabilities, so they could not analyze their quality of life in these institutions. In the private institution there are people with disabilities, having this type of employee is the initiative of the organization and not only because there are laws that require them to have a percentage of this type of employee. This type of employee is treated like other employees, from the recruitment and selection stage to the performance evaluation. However, they suffer prejudice from students and employees of the educational institutions themselves. To reduce this, internal awareness actions are proposed.

Based on the analysis of educational and regulatory documents, the main pedagogical principles of the State Service for Education Quality of Ukraine (SSEQU) are summarized: a) basic pedagogical principles of SSEQU’s activity, which are defined by the legislator as basic principles of state educational policy (people orientedness; primacy of the law; ensuring the quality of education and equal access to education; humanism; democracy; unity of teaching, upbringing and development, etc.); b) principles that determine the legal sphere of the SSEQU’s activity (institutional separation of control functions and functions ensuring the activities of educational institutions; transparency and publicity of management decisions; responsibility and accountability of education authorities and educational institutions to society; public administration; public partnership etc); c) pedagogical principles that guide and structurally organize SSEQU’s activities (universal design and reasonable adaptation; scientific nature of education; diversity of education; integrity and continuity of education; integration with the labor market; freedom of choosing the types, forms and pace of education, educational program, educational institution; academic integrity; academic freedom, etc. Empirical data analysis based on the educational process participants’ views on the factors, which comprise educational quality, revealed that the interviewees valued most the level of qualification, experience, knowledge and skills of their teachers, educational and methodological support, the use of new technologies and innovations in teaching for achieving quality education. Interaction and cooperation between education stakeholders was identified as important by teachers and students, and less important – by parents. Interviews with students - prospective educational experts revealed that they valued the sequence of communication skills, knowledge and skills of expert activity, experience and knowledge of pedagogical activities. The effort to preserve the beauty of the environment is an obligation for every social creature that lives on this earth. These efforts are carried out and planned so that every human being has a caring attitude and responsibility with the surrounding environment. In educational institutions the role of a teacher cannot be separated in the educational process. To realize students as quality resources cannot be separated from the environment. This article intends to explain about environmental education in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 7 Jombang. With a qualitative case study approach, this research was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the discussion from the research show that, in the implementation of their roles and participation in forming and increasing environmental awareness by teachers, students are well implemented. Most of them have a caring attitude to their environment, which is proven by their daily habits, which is to dispose of waste according to the space provided. It's just that for minorities who are still indifferent to the environment, support and encouragement from teachers need to be increased so that all madrasa residents, especially students, have positive behavior, be aware and care about the surrounding environmen

Abstract This study intends to explain the portrait of educational institutions fostered by Muslimat Education Foundation (YPM) NU in Kediri Regency, and try to describe the effectiveness of Muslimat NU in Kediri Regency in improving quality. This study seeks to describe in depth the problems in accordance with the data obtained in the field and on the interpretation of researchers. Muslimat NU is one of the organizations of many organizations in the community. Muslimat NU is a community organization and is an autonomous body of Nahdlatul Ulama whose task is helping to implement policies on women members. Among YPM's work programs in order to improve the quality of education in the district of Kediri are improving the quality of Al-Qur'an Kindergarten and play group, including on managerial aspects, facilities and infrastructure, administration, curriculum and Human Resources (teachers, managers and employees). This study aims to examine development communication in community participation in village development planning. Community participation is very important because it can guarantee the effectiveness of development programs. There are a number of obstacles to community participation in development planning. Some identified barriers are the absence of legal support (Rumensten, 2012), lack of public awareness, low quality of human resources, length of stay and hours employment type (Wijaksono, 2013), lack of socialization from the government (Sagita, 2016), poverty and limited access provided by the government (Ompusunggu, 2017), and interest of bureaucracy in planning (Mbeche, 2017). These studies, indeed, have not considered yet cultural factor leading to disinvolvement. This qualitative case study extends previous studies by revealing the culture of mamfatin ukunrai discouraging community participation in development planning in Naran Village (pseudonym), Raimanuk Subdistrict, Belu Regency. Mamfatin ukunrai is a custom considering development planning is government's duties and responsibilities. Villagers are merely the executor of development programs. This custom is a legacy of royal government system and dominates the mindset of villagers. The tradition of highly appreciating the government unwittingly creates an invisible distance between government and society. It has discouraged villagers’ participation.

Pesantren, as an authentic educational institution initiated by Indonesian Muslims, provides parents aneffective alternative to educate their children. For years, pesantren has proven trusted in educating youthand establishing a standard in both general and religious educations. In this study, the researchers willdiscuss factors that motivate parents to entrust pesantren as the institution to educate their children. Thisstudy uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, andthe results of relevant studies. After analyzing the data, the results indicate that there are two types ofmotives among parents. First is general motivation in placing children in pesantren, namely intrinsicmotivation which covers parents' ideals having a generation with the quality of faith and good moralconduct, forming morals, and building strong physical and mental. The other factor is extrinsic motivation,including intense, integrated, and comprehensive Islamic teaching, positive activities carried outcontinuously for 24 hours, and proper coaching methods. The two factors indicate that parents' motivationto entrust pesantren as an educational institution is relevant to current conditions in which the youngergeneration is prone to moral depravity
