- The intent of this paper is to present the results and the proceedings of an interdisciplinary research about connections between training and sustainability in the field of eco-design applied in the traditional use of plant fibers. The research has begun three years ago and has taken the form of a pilot project entitled Design Zingaro - a participating experience of planning and training. Creations of Land Art and Design with plant materials. It was realized in an inclusive process of dialogue, trough participation of many university students, artists, naturalists, forest staff and master weaver of traditional know-how of local craft. The educational activity was designed in partnership with all the stakeholders. The action of coordination has revealed vital for the involvement of both participants linked to University and external ones (artists, naturalists, forest staff and master weaver). From the methodological point of view, the process of training and planning has to be analyzed, through an ecological approach to epistemology and by a systemic view. The analysis has to be focused on relationships that enabled the conduct of the process. The main nodal relationships form the basis to build up a reticular and systemic model, able to describe the complexity of our process. There are many thematic issues covered by the research. They are all closely interlinked with each other: 1. the report of the observer with the process under study 2. arrangements and approaches of participing planning and training 3. institutional cooperation 4. the handing down of traditional know how of interlacement with plant fibers 5. fieldwork and residential workshops Abstracts 187 6. design production and artistic outcomes 7. the realization of a quality label for sustainable products 8. public events, promotion and diffusion 9. mass media and international forum.

The pandemic situation at the beginning of March 2020 forced teachers to develop alternative teaching methods, and most important to find the best ways to keep teaching for every student no matter the situation, as for example, the lack of computer knowledge or hardware/software support. Teachers worldwide struggled to support, encourage, find the best ways not only to help students to keep learning but support them emotionally. At the end of the academic year, teachers made efforts to develop fair, appropriate evaluation procedures adapted to distance education. This paper summarizes the Distance Teaching-Learning-Evaluation (DTLE) evolution in Russia and Romania and some methods developed from March to December 2020 to support the educational activity. Some benefits, challenges and difficulties are identified during the same period of time in different DTLE scenarios, from the point of view of teachers and students, as well. Examples of new adapted methods, dedicated to the DTLE scenarios are al-so addressed in this work.

The operational knowledge of skilled technicians gained from years of experience is invaluable for an enterprise. Possession of such knowledge will facilitate an enterprise sharing technician’s know-how and training of new employees effectively. However, until now there is rare efficient quantitative method to obtain this kind of tacit knowledge. In this paper we propose a concept of engineering-oriented operational empirical knowledge (OEK) to describe this kind of knowledge and design a framework to acquire OEK from skilled technician’s operations. The framework integrates motion analysis, motion elicitation, and intent analysis. The modular arrangement of predetermined time standards (MODAPTS) is used to divide the technician’s operational process into basic motion elements; and the variable precision rough set (VPRS) algorithm is used to extract the technician’s OEK content, which combined with the technician’s intent elicited via interview; the completed OEK is obtained. At the end of our study, an engineering case is used to validate the feasibility of the proposed method, which shows that satisfactory results have been reached for the study.

For the linguistic expression of the concept of knowledge, the Slavic languages use verbs deriving from the Indo-European roots *ĝnō and *ṷei̭d. They differ in terms of the availability of both types of verbs in the contemporary standard languages and in terms of their semantic range. As will be shown in this paper, these differences are interesting not only from a language-specific lexicological point of view, but also in the context of the intersection of lexicon and grammar. Covering the domain of ‘knowing how,’ the *ĝnō-based verb in Slovene (znati) has been extending into the domain of possibility and, on this basis, developing into a modal verb. While this development is not surprising from a typological point of view, it is remarkable from a Slavic perspective, since this particular grammaticalisation path towards possibility is otherwise unknown to Slavic. This peculiar feature of Slovene, which most probably relates to its long-lasting and intensive contact with German, is illustrated in the present paper by comparing Slovene to Russian on the basis of three main questions: 1) the semantic range of vedeti / vedatʹ and znati / znatʹ, 2) the lexicalisation of ‘know how,’ and 3) the relation between knowledge, ability, and possibility. The focus is on contemporary Slovene and Russian, leaving a detailed diachronic investigation and the further embedding into a larger Slavic and areal perspective for future analyses.

“Biblioteche nelle Scuole” (in brief, “Biblioscuole”, i.e. Libraries at Schools), a three year school library pilot project, has been carrying out since 2004 in Italy to improve school librarians competencies and school library services in order to provide an easy access to information for teachers, pupils and their families, and to promote social inclusion. The Project and some reflections - based on learners’ interaction - about the first part of the education and training course, are presented here.

In this article, we analyze the use of the term ‘morsmål’ (‘mother tongue’) in official Norwegian documents and in media texts to identify if and how its conceptualization has changed in the era of increasing globalization. Our point of view is explorative. When examining our data, we highlight the importance of reflecting openly about the instability of powerful concepts. We highlight two partly conflicting conceptualizations that we name the ‘traditional use’ and the ‘novel use’, respectively. Building on critical discourse analysis and conceptual metaphor theory we explore how the conceptualizations reveal certain aspects of ideologies and the potential management of multilingualism in society. A broader understanding of how conceptualizations of mother tongue(s) are played out in the Norwegian context may contribute to the dialogue about multilingualism as it is understood and recognized across diverse contexts.

University campus gardens provide the integrity of the environment with educational buildings, connect the users and buildings, and provide liveable spaces for users. Campuses serve as a public space for academic, administrative and technical staff, especially students, as well as incoming visitors. As a public space, the ability of students to meet all their recreational, social and cultural needs is directly related to the content and designs of the open and green spaces of the campuses. It is essential to ensure the landscape designs of these spaces, in line with the structural and planting design principles, and with the successful composition of the user-space relationship where the user needs and desires are determined. From this point of view, it is aimed to evaluate the landscape designs of the two campuses of Trakya University, where art and design-oriented education is realised, in terms of user satisfaction. For this purpose, it was revealed by a survey that measures the satisfaction of the users of the two campuses where determined the spatial and landscape requirements of design-based education. In the survey, the users' duration and purpose of use of the campus, feelings created by various equipment on users, the usage the building and gardens and the current conditions of the campuses were determined. The frequency percentages of the data obtained in the survey study were evaluated using the SPSS 26.0 program. As a result, suggestions have been developed to improve the current use of the two campus gardens and to ensure the sustainability of the spaces.

This article analyzes the possibilities of humour and laughter in educational activity. Using techniques based on the knowledge of methodological potential of laughter is a substantial reserve for increasing the effectiveness of training, education and personal development. From a pedagogical point of view, means of creating a comic situation is a way of indirect pedagogical interaction with the audience. Laughter helps to observe generally accepted social norms of behaviour, avoid conflicts, defuse the situation, remove emotional tension and enhance the intellectual activity of students.

The article examines one of the little-studied aspects of the subversive operation of Poland and Hungary against Carpatho-Ukraine, namely the military cooperation between the Carpathian Sich and the Czechoslovak Army and security agencies (StOS, gendarmery, state police, and financial guard) in the protection of the borders of the autonomous region against attacks by Polish and Hungarian saboteurs in fall 1938 – early 1939. Drawing on Czech and Polish archival materials, as well as memoirs, the author establishes the role of Czechoslovak officers in the provision of arms, ammunition, and training for the Carpathian Sich units, as well as in their engagement in joint intelligence and counter-sabotage activities in the border areas with Poland and Hungary. Such actions produced a joint Czech-Ukrainian response to the undeclared "hybrid war" waged by Poland and Hungary against Carpatho-Ukraine, which final aim was to establish a common frontier in the Carpathians. Despite its largely secondary (auxiliary) function in this operation, the Carpathian Sich members were able not only to demonstrate efficiency in the fight against Hungarian and Polish militants but at the same time to become a source of information for the Czechoslovak intelligence. From the point of view of the Czechoslovak command's interests, the Carpathian Sich served as a "non-state actor," who was trying to counter-balance the enemy's non-regular formations. The mentioned military cooperation marked the first stage in relations between the Carpathian Sich and the Czechoslovak military that started in the first half of November 1938 and ended in mid-January 1939 with the nomination by Prague of Czech general Lev Prchala as the third minister in the autonomous government of Carpatho-Ukraine. For the Carpathian Sich, the cooperation with the Czechoslovak security agencies produced their first combat experience and served as the source of replenishment of its scarce arsenal. Resumen: La comunicación con las personas diagnosticadas de patologías mentales es un punto fundamental para ayudar a conseguir su reinserción social. Enfermería es la figura que mantiene un contacto más estrecho con estos pacientes cuando se encuentran ingresados en centros sanitarios. El diálogo con estos pacientes es sumamente complejo, lo que hace necesario realizar investigaciones y formación que aborden la mejor forma de relacionarnos con ellos. Este estudio tiene por objetivo demostrar la im­portancia que tiene la comunicación con el paciente psiquiátrico respecto a la relación con el personal de Enfermería y su evolución. Los resultados muestran que los profesionales y estudiantes de Enfermería necesitan formación específica para saber cómo enfrentar un diálogo con personas con enfermedades mentales. La escucha activa, el idioma, la comunicación no verbal y la cercanía en la relación son claves para una comunicación efectiva.Palabras clave: Comunicación; enfermedad mental; Enfermería; relación.Abstract: Communication with people diagnosed with mental pathologies is a fundamental point to help achieve their social reintegration. Nursing is the figure that maintains a closer contact with these patients when they are admitted to health centers. The dialogue with these patients is extremely complex, which makes it necessary to conduct research and training that addresses the best way to relate to them. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the importance of communication with the psychiatric patient regarding the relationship with the nursing staff and their evolution. The results show that nursing professionals and students need specific training to know how to face a dialogue with people with mental illness. Active listening, language, non-verbal communication and closeness in the relationship are key to effective communication.Keywords: Communication; mental illness; nursing; relationship.

This scientific article reveals the methods of education of physical culture and basics of health and determination of working capacity of athletes of combat horting of pupil and student age, features of direction and volumes of training load. The publication analyzes the relationship between combat horting and health for schoolchildren and students during their education and training in sports sections of general secondary and higher education. Every year the National Federation of Combat Horting of Ukraine raises more and more problems of health-improving orientation of the educational process by means of sports. During the years of perestroika and reforms, scientists, teachers and leaders of the sports federation, educational sphere organized and conducted many serious studies, obtained many valuable sports, philosophical, socio-economic and psychological-pedagogical results, developed important concepts and recommendations, implemented a number of practical measures in the field of improvement of educational and training process, its adaptation to new conditions of educational activity in Ukraine. The analysis of methods of education of physical culture and basics of health of athletes of combat horting, the analysis and definition of their working capacity, value potential of combat horting and new ways of its development by a society and the person, and also pedagogical values of the trainer on combat horting, allows to receive ideas approaches formed in the modern theory and practice of combat horting.
