The purpose of the study is to establish the influence of design and technological parameters of the developed variants of the harrow with screw working bodies on the efficiency of earning plant residues. The object of research is the technological process of tillage with a harrow with screw working bodies. The subject of the study is the patterns of the process of earning crop residues depending on the change in the angle of attack of the working body, the step size of the screw working body and the depth of tillage On the basis of the complex of experimental researches the regression dependences for definition of percent of the area of a surface of a field with full earning of the vegetative rests by a harrow with screw working bodies are deduced. The response surfaces of the percentage of the surface area of the field with the full earning of crop residues ξ during tillage with a harrow with screw working bodies are constructed. It is established that the dominant influence on the percentage of the field surface area with full earnings of crop residues ξ has the depth of tillage h, then the angle of attack β of the battery of screw working bodies and the least affected step size of the screw working body T.

Research and experimental results of a potato digger with a rotary separating web are published in this article. The main design characteristics of the rotors are justified by analysis of existing constructions and their working processes. Special attention is paid to definition of rotational speed of the rotors of the rotary separation web. Theoretical researches have determined that potato layer moves steadily while rotational speed of rotary working bodies equals 230 rpm. Results of experimental researches demonstrate that the rotary separation web removes 89,7% impurities while rotational speed of rotary working bodies equals 242 rpm.

In the paper there is shown a methodology for the parameter reliability diagnostics of the technological systems of machinery functional surface machining on their quality parameters. The problems arisen before designers and technologists and methods for their solution are under consideration. There are recommended roughness parameters affecting considerably the formation of a number of operation properties of surfaces. The circuits for the definition of technological system parameter reliability and a complex approach to experimental researches in the course of diagnostics are considered. The recommendations for the formation of standard computer modules of diagnostic systems and examples of their use are given.

In the fourth Mémoire of his celebrated Relation des Expériences, published in 1847, Regnault gives cogent reasons for preferring the air thermometer before any other as the instrument by means of which temperatures may be defined, and high temperatures determined. The thermodynamic researches of Sir William Thomson have furnished an absolute thermodynamic definition of temperatures ; and the experimental researches of Dr Joule and Sir William Thomson have established the practical agreement of Regnault's air thermometers with the thermodynamic scale of temperatures. Lastly, the air thermometer is at present the only instrument, with the exception of a mercurial thermometer which has been compared with an air thermometer, by means of which temperatures higher than, say, 150° C. or 200° C. can be determined within 3° C. or 4° C.*

In the article outcomes of probes by definition of influencing the flexibility of pen on optimum requirements of linking of shelves pairwise shrouded blades of turbines are considered. A design feature of such blades is that a composite shank, each half of which has a pen with a bezigless shroud platform, is freely inserted into the groove of disk. The application examples pairwise shrouded blades in turbines of a gas turbine engine (GTD), and also outcomes of the analysis of initial conditions of linking on shroud platforms of such blades are set up. It is shown that under the conditions of operation of the engine, there can be both an interference fit and a clearance on the shroud platform. A description is given of the developed methods for the experimental determination of the initial conditions for pairing the retaining shelves of pairwise shrouded blades and the study of their damping ability and vibration stress. Outcomes of the analysis of requirements of linking of bandage shelves of blading of impellors, experimental researches by definition of their influencing on vibrational stresses and a damping current capacity pairwise shrouded blades and their beam models as systems with a rigorous regular which one is characterized by the elastic-dissipative connection caused both bandages, and tool joints, taking into account flexibility of pen are introduced. It is displayed, that there is the best value of the argument of linking of bandage shelves at which one the maximum damping current capacity of twin blades and according to their minimum of vibrational stresses is reached. Thus, its meaning depends on the flexibility of the pen of a blade. By results of the conducted experimental researches of packages of pairwise shrouded blades of three turbine stages GTD AI-25 and turbine GTD D-36 first stage the relation of the best value of argument Δн, wholesale of linking of bandage shelves from the flexibility of pen which one allows to forecast its value for blades of other stages GTD is constructed. As blades of first stages of turbines GTD AI-322 and D-36 are characterized by flexibility neighbors it is possible to forecast with a high probability, that best values of the argument of linking of their shroud platforms will be one level.

Introduction. Peeling the moistened grains before grinding allows removing most of the outer shells with impurities on them from the grain surface. At the present time, the most commonly used machines for peeling are devices operating on the principle of “compression and friction”, in which the grains move along the friction surfaces of the working bodies. The aim of this study is to define and select structural and kinematic parameters of the machine working bodies, which would most effectively perform the process of peeling, and to make energy assessment of grain peeling. Materials and Methods. To identify the dependence of the machine design and operating parameters on the inclination angle and punching angle of the sieve cylinder, a diagram of the movement of the grain along the inclined cylinder was drawn up using elements of the theory of the motion of material point on rough surfaces. The motion of grains on the cylinder surface is analyzed by the methods of analytical dynamics. Results. The values of the geometric parameters of the particle position at point A are expressed as a function of the cylinder inclination angle α and the angle characterizing the shape of the inclined line of stamping of the cylinder β. Energy assessment of grain peeling process was made. With the radius of the sieve cylinder R0 = 0.135 m, the width of the working annular gap к = 0.01 m, the length of the cylinder L = 0.4 m, the horizontal arrangement of the cylinder, the angular velocity of the shaft ω = 90 rad/s, the angle of inclination of the stamping β = 22º, the calculated power was P = 4.5 kW. Discussion and Conclusion. As a result of analyzing the motion trajectory of the grain located on the cylinder surface, there have been proposed the formulas relating the shape of the inclined punching line of the cylinder, characterized by the angle β, to the inclination angle α, the radius R0 of the cylinder, the shaft angular velocity and the grain frictional properties. The obtained analytical dependencies can be used for the approximate definition of the peeling machine design and kinematic parameters.

Metacognition is one of the vital competencies to seize the opportunities and overcome the challenges of twenty-first century; however, there is no precise definition of metacognition and it is a fuzzy concept. While classic, descriptive and procedural models try to describe the nature and ingredients of metacognition, theoretical clarity in terms of better definition and representation of its components is needed. This study by adopting theoretical models of metacognition through the Plan-Do-Check-Act principles (as a management instrument) proposes a conceptual framework, “Metacognition Management System (MMS)” that consolidates components, functions, and processes of metacognition in a single window. Then, impacts of a multidimensional intervention designed based on the MMS concept (MMS Training Course) provided in 12 hours, on 31 students’ metacognitive competencies was investigated using quasi-experimental pre-test, post-test design. The large effect size (Partial η2 = .939, 95% confidence interval) implied that MMS training course has a statistically significant impact on metacognitive competencies. This study has implications for further theoretical and experimental researches on the configuration and application of the MMS as well as designing multidimensional metacognitive intervention.

Цель исследований экспериментальное определение токсических показателей дизельного двигателя Д-245.5S2 сельскохозяйственного трактора при его работе на этаноло-топливной эмульсии с предельным содержание этанола в смеси. Объект исследования: экспериментальная установка (двигатель Д-245.5S2, электротормозной стенд RAPIDO SAK N670 с балансирной маятниковой машиной). Испытания дизеля проводились в соответствии с ГОСТ 18509-88. Исследования проводились на дизельном топливе и этаноло-топливной эмульсии с содержанием этанола 20 и 50 в смеси. Во время проведения исследований снималась регулировочная характеристика для определения оптимального угла опережения впрыскивания (угол 22 до верхней мертвой точки (ВМТ)). Затем снимались нагрузочные характеристики при частоте вращения коленчатого вала 1800 мин-1 и 1400 мин-1 и скоростная характеристика. Во всех экспериментах производилась фиксация эффективных и экологических показателей. Опираясь на полученные в результате испытаний экспериментальные данные, были установлены зависимости токсических показателей дизеля при его работе на этаноло-топливной эмульсии. Также были выявлены изменения токсичности и дымности отработавших газов при разных составах топлива. Приведены графики нагрузочной характеристики (экологические показатели) работы двигателя на базовом топливе и на этаноло-топливной эмульсии с содержанием 20 и 50 этанола в смеси.The purpose of probes - experimental definition of toxic indicators of diesel engine D-245.5S2 at its work on etanolo-fuel emulsion with limiting the ethanol maintenance in a mixture. Object of probe: experimental installation (engine D-245.5S2, electrobrake stand RAPIDO SAK N670 with balancer by pendular car). Diesel engine tests were spent according to GOST 18509-88. Probes were spent on diesel fuel and etanolo-fuel emulsion with the maintenance of ethanol of 20 and 50 to mixtures. During carrying out of probes the adjusting characteristic, for definition of an optimum angle of an injection advance (a corner 22 to the top dead point (TDP)) acted in film. Then loading characteristics acted in film at rotary speed of a bent shaft of 1800 mines-1 both 1400 mines-1 and the high-speed characteristic. At all experimentals fixing of effective and ecological indicators was made. Leaning against the received experimental data as a result of tests, dependences of toxic indicators of a diesel engine have been established at its work on etanolo-fuel emulsion. Also changes of toxicity and smoke, the fulfilled gases are revealed at different structures of fuel. Schedules of the loading characteristic (ecological indicators) engine works on base fuel and on etanolo-fuel emulsion with the maintenance of 20 and 50 of ethanol in a mixture are resulted.

Purpose. A control system for grain overloading during post-harvest processing with grain throwers has been proposed, the use of which will reduce damage and grain loss. An automated electromechanical system is presented that can be installed on agricultural machinery without additional modernization of the working bodies. Methodology. As a result of the analysis of control systems, a system with elements of fuzzy logic was selected, which will clearly define the necessary control actions and take into account additional parameters that can affect the overload process. A functional diagram of a microprocessor control system for an electric drive using a fuzzy system is proposed. The result of the system operation will be the definition of the control task for the frequency converters of the drive motors of the grain thrower mechanisms. Originality. Based on the simulation of grain flight trajectories, the dependences of the flight range on the conveyor speed and additional blowing were formed, which were used to determine the settings of the fuzzy controller. Results. Fuzzy system settings are performed: a set of input and output variables is defined; the number and location of terms are selected; a set of production rules for the system is formulated. As a result of experimental modeling, graphs of the formation of mastering influences by a fuzzy controller under the condition of the appearance and disappearance of the headwind for different given distances of movement were obtained. Practical value. Practical application of the offered system will allow to reduce material losses from injury of the overloaded grain and to increase efficiency of work of the grain thrower.
