Kademangan is a shrimp paste production center in the Probolinggo municipality. The shrimp paste made from this fish processing center is of lower quality than similar products on the market. The varying size of the raw materials is a significant problem in shrimp paste production in this business hub. This activity aimed to improve the quality of the shrimp paste product by introducing and enhancing the partners' skills in using grinders and shrimp powder for rebon shrimp in making rebon shrimp paste. The method of this service activity consists of training, monitoring, and evaluation of the activities. This activity showed that the partners had received training on the production of shrimp paste and its quality and the use of grinding machines and machines for boiling shrimp meal. During the partner monitoring period, it became apparent that the partners had switched the technology from manual production of shrimp paste to machine production. The evaluation results show that the partners are familiar with grinding and grinding machines in making Rebon shrimp paste. The resulting products are of higher quality than those made before the partners used the shrimp grinding shrimp flour machines. The conclusion is that the use of grinding and flour machines for rebon shrimp by partners has increased the production capacity by three times and increased the quality of the rebon shrimp paste.

The purpose of this community service activity is to improve the quality of jamu gendong products at the home industry of jamu gendong in Karangrejo village, Magetan Regency. The method of service is carried out by training, including procedures for pre-survey activities, surveys, socialization, training, and evaluation. The target of the service activity is the women of the jamu gendong group. The evaluation results showed an increase in participant understanding of 56% about the technique of selecting rhizomes for herbal medicine, an increase in participant understanding of 44% about equipment selection techniques for herbal medicine, an increase in participant understanding of 72% about the hygienic process of making herbal medicine, an increase in participant understanding of 66% about the hygienic packaging process of herbal medicine. The results of monitoring and evaluation showed that 100% of participants were satisfied in participating in the activities, 100% of participants took an active role in participating in the training, 100% of participants were enthusiastic in participating in the activities.

Plate stone handicraft products are one of the leading commodities and also potential for Sukowiryo Village, Jelbuk District, Jember Regency. Apart from being a superior commodity and village potential, plate stone handicraft products are also an export commodity. However, most of the plate stone handicraft production process in Sukowiryo Village still uses simple tools and manual processes. Therefore, the production process takes a longer time and the quality of the production is not standardized. The purpose of this PPK service activity is to provide real solutions to problems in the production process that connect by partners so that partners can increase skill productivity so that partners can carry out efficiency and can increase their production. The results of the KDP service activities were; 1) provide assistance to increase Skill Productivity by providing assistance with plate stone cutting machines according to partner needs. Build sewer and air reservoirs, and increase the partner's electric power to operate the plate stone cutting machine. 2) Partners can make time efficiency in the production process. 3) Partners can increase their productivity, 4) Partners can add 1 type of product diversification. 5) Carry out monitoring and evaluation after the program is implemented

Masyarakat di Desa Setiawargi sebagian besar belum memanfaatkan lahan-lahan kosong untuk tempat budidaya sayuran yang menyebabkan kontinyuitas bahan baku olahan pangan terhambat. Selain itu, kualitas produk olahan dan akses terhadap pasar untuk menjual produk olahan juga masih terbatas. Hal ini membuat pendapatan petani semakin kecil di tengah pandemi covid-19. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan melalui beberapa rangkaian kegiatan yaitu penyuluhan, pendampingan dan monitoring evaluasi. Kegiatan penyuluhan dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, sementara itu kegiatan pendampingan dilakukan dengan metode pembinaan yang tidak terikat oleh batas waktu dan tempat. Kegiatan monitoring dan evaluasi dilakukan dengan wawancara dan observasi. Keluaran yang telah dicapai antara lain pemahaman petani mengenai budidaya sayuran organik meningkat, petani lebih kreatif dan inovatif dalam memanfaatkan lahan non produktif, dan petani mampu mengabdopsi iptek pengemasan. Adapun dampak ekonomi dan sosial yang dirasakan mitra sasaran antara lain: (1) termotivasi untuk mencoba dan memulai menanam sayuran organik, (2) lahan-lahan non produktif mulai termanfaatkan, (3) mampu mengadopsi teknologi pengemasan modern, dan (4) semakin meningkatnya kekompakan anggota poktan maupun KWT. Keberhasilan kegiatan pengabdian membutuhkan peran serta masyarakat yang aktif dan kreatif untuk mendukung keberlanjutan program.  Abstract. Most of the people in Setiawargi Village have not used vacant lands for vegetable cultivation which has hampered the continuity of food processing raw materials. In addition, the quality of processed products and access to markets to sell processed products are also still limited. This makes farmers' incomes smaller during the covid-19 pandemic. Service activities are carried out through several series of activities, namely counseling, mentoring, and evaluation monitoring. Extension activities are carried out using the lecture method, while mentoring activities are carried out using a coaching method that is not bound by time and place limits. Monitoring and evaluation activities are carried out through interviews and observations. The outputs that have been achieved include increased understanding of farmers regarding organic vegetable cultivation, farmers are more creative and innovative in utilizing non-productive land, and farmers can adopt packaging science and technology. The economic and social impacts felt by the target partners include: (1) being motivated to try and start growing organic vegetables, (2) starting to use non-productive land, (3) being able to adopt modern packaging technology, and (4) increasing the cohesiveness of farmer group and KWT members. The success of service activities requires active and creative community participation to support program sustainability.

Being a reliable entrepreneur is not easy. But it's not as difficult as many people imagine. So that it can be said that entrepreneurship can be done by everyone. Why? The reason: Everyone has dreams, dreams, or at least hope to improve their quality of life as humans. This is a kind of instinct that encourages people to work and try. This instinc is related to one of humanity's potentials, namely the power of creative imagination. Entrepreneurship can basically be learned, because it emphasizes concepts and theories. In addition entrepreneurship can be learned, so that everyone can learn entrepreneurship either through theory or just learning from experience. Entrepreneurial success can be achieved if entrepreneurship uses products, processes and innovation services as the creation of new things. So that in this case innovation is an important element to empower resources to produce something new and create value. Entrepreneurial resilience as a driver of the economy lies in new creations to continually create value by turning all challenges into opportunities. The goals to be achieved from this community service activity are: To equip youth to have an understanding of the importance of entrepreneurs and be able to work independently with proper business planning and management. The training that was carried out stimulated teenagers to be creative and innovative by making bags with paper raw materials and producing products from the paper newspaper raw materials. By participating in this service activity teenagers will understand the importance of entrepreneurial spirit in relation to the very limited employment opportunities lately and their mindset will change rather than become a civil servant but become an entrepreneur. These teenagers are formed into people who are confident, independent, creative, innovative and not easily discouraged.

Background: Subdistrict Parengan has high livestock potential especially Suciharjo Village and Margorejo Village. The existing agricultural waste is not treated properly and livestock cannot reach maximum weights. The provision of quality animal feed is one of the efforts to improve the welfare of the community. Quality of animal feed can be increasing cattle productivity so that the selling value will increase. Purpose: This Community Service activity aims to improve the economic strengthening of the community through breeders through the introduction, dissemination, through technology UMB Herbal based on local resources that can increase the weight gain of beef cattle. UMB Herbal is a concentrate feed that uses raw materials based on raw materials (agriculture) with curcuma which is widely available in the regions. Improving skills makes UMB Herbal can be a provision for the community to be able to increase income. Methods: The method used in community service is the counseling for animal feed and health, training to make UMB Herbal and focus group discussions then applicating of UMB Herbal to pilot cattle. Results: The results of this community service include an increase in beef cattle body weight,  decreasing the gastrointestinal worm infestations, and increasing the knowledge and skills of the participants of the community service. Conclusion: Community Service Activities have a positive impact related to the development of beef cattle farms.

Community service activities aim at increasing the competitiveness of fostered partners in dealing with market developments. The potential of developing frozen food UMKM products is still very open because it is very popular among many people in the City of Medan. Royal Food also experiences the same thing as most UKMKs in Medan, which generally have limited human resource quality of education. The workforce in UKMK is dominated by workers with low education and do not have good financial management and the low utilization of technology. This community service activity was carried out over a period of six months. Activities carried out in the form of socialization and counseling to partners, training in business development and marketing, safe and hygienic production practices and designing more attractive packaging, carrying out production and marketing to partner monitoring and evaluation. After getting a touch of good design, proper management, modernization of production equipment, attractive promotional media, UMKM Royal Food is able to experience business development with increasingly high sales and more competitive products.

Fishing port plays a vital role in providing fish raw materials (IBB) required for fish processing industries (IPI). The planning and development of IPI at Tasik Agung Rembang Coastal Fishing Port (PPP) rely on information regarding IBB supplies, however little data is available to support the decision. The purpose of this study was to investigate the origin of the IBB in fulfilling IPI demand for Pindang production and assess the IBB actual supplies (type, number, quality). A survey on the availability of IBB was conducted by involving various stakeholders including port officers, fishers, and IPI related entrepreneurs. Data collection consisted of both demand and supplies of IBB, which incorporate types, volume, and quality of fish. The results showed that the total demand for IBB was 824.8 ton/month and consisted of 9 species. However, the existing supplies of IBB only cover 59.5% of it. Relevance. Fracturing of the array is one of the main factors in the formation of quality blocks of decorative stone. Systems of natural cracks form a separate rock and determine the shape and size of structural blocks, which determines the possible output of conditioned block products from the array, the choice of the method of preparing the rock for excavation, the location and direction of movement of the mining front in accordance with the nature, intensity and elements of the occurrence of cracks. To control the quality of decorative stone blocks, modeling and forecasting optimal parameters, it is necessary to investigate the possibility of identifying fractures and then determining their geometric parameters using modern digital equipment. Purpose of research is to analyze the quality management of the extracted rock based on the use of mathematical modeling technologies. The methodology of the work consists in using methods of mathematical modeling, as well as statistical data processing. Results. The practical application of the results is to apply the developed methods in order to optimize the quality management system of the extracted rock and increase its efficiency. As a result of practical research, a rational ledge height of 5.8 m has been established for the conditions of the granodiorite Deposit, which allows to ensure the necessary production capacity of the quarry, high productivity of mining equipment, safety of mining operations, minimal economic costs for mining operations, low production costs and minimal losses of block raw materials. Conclusions. The analysis of the complex of mining operations of mining enterprises allows us to make a conclusion about the need to introduce new technologies into production that would ensure the automation of work, increase the reliability of measurement results and calculations. At the same time, automation should be based on the use of remote methods for assessing the quality of decorative stone, new electronic devices and appropriate software.

ABSTRACTThe low quality of raw rubber materials produced by farmers is a classic problem. Farmers cultivate only hereditary sap crops into the clot, printed in the freezer and the results tub-shaped “slab” in various sizes. Prices received is relatively low, due to the weak bargaining position that would otherwise be beneficial to make a clean “bokar”. A factory units with creper mini is a business opportunity for farmers – traders who have sufficient capital investment. Creper mini machine is used to process the material rubber into blankets. Processing alternatives be blanketed capable to improving the quality and the price at the farm level. However, the lack of capital will hinder business continuity, while the production capacity should remain unfulfilled. This article is a reviews of case studies in factory units with creper mini on Banyuasin district, South Sumatera. The study analyzes were conducted to understand the financial aspects of the operations with financial eligibility criteria NPV, B/C ratio, IRR and PP. NPV results Rp. 1.225.200.360,-, B/C Ratio 1,02, IRR 32%, and PBP 2,1 years or 25 months. Business continuity rubber processing factory units with mini creper is feasible. Efforts to provide value-added is a large capital investment, as well as potential raw materials to meet the production capacity. ABSTRAK Rendahnya mutu bahan olah karet yang dihasilkan oleh petani menjadi problema klasik yang terjadi hingga saat ini. Biasanya petani karet hanya mengolah lateks hasil kebun yang dicetak dalam bak pembeku dan hasilnya berbentuk slab dengan berbagai ukuran. Hal ini mengakibatkan harga yang diterima petani relatif rendah, karena lemahnya posisi tawar yang seharusnya dapat ditingkatkan apabila membuat bokar bersih. Keberadaan unit pengolahan karet creper mini dapat menjadi bagian dari upaya peningkatan mutu bokar, sekaligus peluang usaha bagi petani-pedagang yang memiliki modal untuk berinvestasi. Mesin creper mini berfungsi untuk mengolah bokar atau slab tipis menjadi blanket. Alternatif pengolahan bokar menjadi blanket di unit pabrik pengolahan karet creper mini diharapkan akan meningkatkan mutu dan harga di tingkat petani. Tulisan ini adalah ulasan dari studi kasus pada unit pabrik pengolahan karet creper mini yang berada di Kabupaten Banyuasin, Sumatera Selatan. Kajian dilakukan untuk mengetahui kelayakan finansial dari kegiatan usaha pengolahan karet dengan creper mini. Indikator kelayakan finansial yang digunakan adalah NPV, B/C ratio, Internal Rate of Return, dan PBP. Hasil perhitungan NPV sebesar Rp. 1.225.200.360,- , B/C ratio 1,02, IRR 32% dan PBP 2,1 tahun atau 25 bulan. Dengan demikian, usaha Unit Pengolahan Karet dengan Creper Mini dinilai layak untuk dilakukan. Upaya pengembangan usaha untuk memberikan nilai tambah yang lebih besar adalah dengan modal investasi yang besar, serta menjamin ketersediaan bahan baku secara berkelanjutan guna memenuhi kapasitas produksi creper mini.

The modern fish processing industry of the Russian Federation sets the task of increasing the efficiency of the use and development of the resource potential of the fishery complex by means of aquaculture and mariculture development, including sturgeon fish breeding. In this case, complex processing through the rational use of by-products of fish and hydrobiont. In Russia, China, the EU and other countries, most fish processing enterprises do not rationally use by-products of fish cutting, which leads to violation of environmental safety (waste deposits are littered with waste from the fishing industry). The article discusses the prospects of using alternative plant materials in the diet of sturgeon fish, presents the recipes for full extruded compound feed for this group of organisms, the quality indicators of compound feed for sturgeon. A comprehensive assessment of the quality of compound feed products was obtained according to the physicochemical and structural indicators of compound feed. The optimal terms and conditions of storage of the obtained feed were found. Based on the performed tests, it was concluded that it is advisable to use raw materials of plant origin in the composition of compound feed, which contributes to the growth of the live weight of fish, leads to the replacement of the costly components of the compound feed with cheaper raw materials of plant origin, provided that the nutritional value is not reduced, and the period and conditions of storage meet the existing requirements.
