In the current era of the Covid-19 pandemic, almost all activities use technology, such as the lecture process. Almost all of the lecturing processes in high education are carried out online because it is to reduce the risk of contracting covid-19. The manual presences system by filling out forms or signatures is no longer effective because it has to be done offline. The online presence system is a system that is needed to find out about lectures, the discipline of teaching and students. The method used in the development of this system is Prototype. This method has the advantage of paying close attention to user needs and a faster time for software development. The results of this study are a system for online presence in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic in real-time with photo evidence. Teaching can validate and change the presence of students. In addition, the admin can easily recap the number of teaching and students presences for reporting. Teaching also finds it helpful to take the results of student presences for reporting the completeness of the assessment data and the head of the study program can see the presences summary report online. This system has been tested for functionality with an average result of 83.5% so that it can be said to be successfully built according to user needs

Dictionary is what is needed to find a term with the right translation. Current technological developments make things very easy and inexpensive. The use of smartphone technology is now very suitable to replace the printed dictionary into a digital dictionary. This study aims to provide convenience for users who want to find the meaning of the term syari'ah especially for students of the Islamic Economics Study Program of the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business, Ar-Raniry State Islamic University, Banda Aceh. This research uses Research and Development (R&D) method and is supported by the waterfall method for system development. Based on the question number 10 in this study, the conclusion of the respondents is only 2% which states neutral from all respondents, it can be said that almost all respondents said the application of Islamic Economics Dictionary makes it easier in the search for shari'a economic terms rather than dictionary shaped print.

One of the courses in D IV Informatics Engineering Department is Industrial Practices Work. This course is held to equip students of praxis in the world of software development. Unfortunately, so far the mechanism for implementing Industrial Practices Work is still in the conventional form. One of them is, for example, a student registers with the administration department of a study program, then requests a letter to be made to several software houses. In fact, sometimes the drafting of the request can be repeated in each group. This kind of process is very ineffective and slows down the performance of study programs. Therefore, through this research an information system was developed that could help to facilitate the implementation of Industrial Practices Work. The system development methodology used in this study is the waterfall method.

Lecture courses in the English Language Education Study Program of STKIP Setiabudhi Rangkasbitung are still conducted in face-to-face class, so the students who do not attend lectures cannot know the pronunciation material at that time, because the Pronunciation course is a practical course in the English pronunciation system. The E-Learning Pronunciation is built so that lectures can be carried out anywhere and anytime without reducing the quality of the teaching and learning process. Therefore, the students who are left behind can continue to follow the Pronunciation course material, as well as habituating students in utilizing communication and information technology. E-Learning Pronunciation is important to be built to improve the ability of students’ pronunciation when doing distance learning, so that students are clearer and more firm in understanding Pronunciation so that there are no errors in English pronunciation. Participants in this study were first semester students of English education study programs. This study uses an experimental research design with the Prototype System development method and system of testing uses Black box testing.

According to the feature of the JBPM workflow system development, the target code generated is determined by analyzing the process of JBPM workflow development and the architecture of J2EE. The code generation tool generates code by parsing the static form source code and loading the code generation template. The code generation tool greatly shortens the JBPM workflow system development cycle and reduces the cost of software development which has the good practicality and scalability.

This research aims to help universities that do not have an academic information system and facilitate EPSBED data report to Directorate of Higher Education (DHE). The method used is the three first stages in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which are systems engineering, requirements analysis, and design system. The result is a design of university business process, design of database, and design of user interface. This research finds that DHE has a specific data structure that can represent the basic activities of a study program. Therefore, this system design can be used for reporting of EPSBED data as well as for data collection of study program activities.

Artificial intelligence (AI) has continued to disrupt the way tasks are being carried out, finding its way into almost all facets of human existence, and advancing the development of human society. The AI revolution has made huge and significant inroad into diverse industries like health, energy, transport, retail, advertising, et cetera. AI has been found to assist in carrying out tasks more quickly and efficiently too. Tasks which were hitherto difficult have been simplified significantly through the use of AI. Slow adoption in judiciary has however been reported, compared to other sectors. A lot of factors have been attributed to this, with AI bias being an issue of concern. Decisions emanating from courts have a significant impact on an individual’s private and professional life. It is thus imperative to identify and deal with bias in any judicial AI system in order to avoid delivering a prejudiced and inaccurate decision, thereby possibly intensifying the existing disparities in the society. This paper therefore surveys judicial artificial intelligence bias, paying close attention to types and sources of AI bias in judiciary. The paper also studies the trust-worthy AI, the qualities of a trust-worthy artificial intelligence system and the expectations of users as it is being deployed to the judiciary, and concludes with recommendations in order to mitigate the AI bias in Judiciary.

The problem of changes in software development is a complex one, and it is almost impossible to avoid it. Indeed, the continuous evolution of the real world causes frequent changes in functional requirements, which entail frequent modifications to the software, yielding a gradual decay of its overall quality. To tackle this problem, two methodologies have been proposed: waterfall methodologies, and incremental/iterative methodologies. The formers try to prevent changes, whereas the second ones consider system development as a step by step process.

Much attention has been given to Software Process Improvements (SPIs) based on the premise that system development outcomes are largely determined by the capabilities of the software development process. The content of this chapter presents the results of a set of research projects investigating why SPIs have not been diffused and utilized in the software engineering community as expected (Fayad et al., 1996; Fichman & Kemerer, 1997; Luqi & Goguen, 1997; Pfleeger & Hatton, 1997). We show that a software developer’s perceived control over the use of an SPIimpacts its diffusion success. Additionally, we show that a software developer’s perceptions of enhanced software quality and increased individual productivity achieved through SPI use impact the successful diffusion of the SPI. Results of these research efforts support the compilation of a clear set of management guidelines to ensure the effective use of SPIs in software development organizations.

IntroductionThe vascular system is one of the first organ systems to develop in our bodies. Normal development and maturation of the physiological functions of almost all of the other organs are critically dependent on the accurate and tightly controlled establishment of the vascular system. Our understanding of the mechanisms underlying the formation of the vascular system during development is still in its infancy. With further understanding of these mechanisms, we may eventually be able to correct the abnormal development and the malfunctioning of many organs by therapeutically modulating the morphology and/or physiological function of the vascular system.Our further understanding of the vascular development can, in part, be achieved by discovering the molecules that play critical roles in this process. We could also achieve this goal by learning more about the functions of previously identified molecules in the vascular system. Discovery of new processes underlying the development of the vascular system will also contribute to further understanding of these molecular mechanisms.Recent advances, using the whole genome approach, have resulted in a flood of new information. This trend will continue, and fortunately, a number of molecular reagents will become available. Therefore, the field will likely experience an exponential growth in terms of novel biological insights and discovering the mechanisms of vascular system development.Occasionally, reductionistic approaches help to systematically address a number of biological problems, including the problems associated with vascular system development. One such approach is to choose an organism that allows us to systematically address these biological questions. The choice of animal models that are well-suited for the study of a particular question has led to a large number of discoveries. To address questions in vascular system development, current research has focused on animal models, including fish, frog, bird, and mouse, and also studies involving humans. It is also worthwhile to note that the branching morphogenesis of the fly trachea system has been utilized to address fundamental questions of vascular morphogenesis.This chapter will summarize the genomic manipulation of the murine vascular system to address questions regarding vascular development. In addition, the advances that have been made in this field using such methods will be summarized.

Information Systems acquisition, implementation, and development have been taking place in business organization to gain the competitive advantage. Rapid advancement of Technology is also popping up unethical issues involving violations of End users' data protection and privacy. This article discusses standard quality practices adhere to which a good quality software product is guaranteed while supporting the organizational strategic needs. It presents a framework that bridges Quality software development process improvement with strategic needs of an organization. Standard practices under consideration includes Capability Maturity Model for Development (CMMI-DEV) while using multi-model Process Improvement approach where an organization could use Balance Score Card technique while setting its strategic goals and monitoring their performance related to Information System development, and also link it with Information System management framework “Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology” (COBIT) - 5 released by Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), so that users could easily switch between the two standards. In last benefits are reported for using quality practices to realize attainment of competitive advantage.
