Abu Bakar Yunus stated that the main task of a teacher is to create a conducive and pleasant learning atmosphere or climate that makes students understand the material being taught. But based on the results of observations there are several symptoms that the researchers did, namely: Many students who are unable to answer the questions posed by the teacher, students are not able to redefine the material taught by the teacher, students are not able to translate the verses of the Qur'an relating to PAI subject matter, students are less able to explain the material taught in their own language and there are still many students who have not yet reached KKM (Minimum Accuracy Criteria) To overcome this problem, the researcher found a suitable strategy to be applied in PAI learning namely prediction guide strategy (guess the lesson) . The prediction guide strategy is a learning strategy that emphasizes students to guess or predict the material to be delivered by the teacher. The aim of the researchers to conduct classroom action research was to improve students' understanding of learning by applying a prediction guide strategy (guessing lessons) in Class VII PAI subjects at Singingi Middle School 6. Data collection techniques are carried out by tests, observations, interviews and documentation. The application of the prediction guide strategy can improve the learning comprehension of Grade VII students in PAI subjects at Singingi Middle School 6. This is evident from the pre-cycle only students who have a learning understanding of only 22.2%, the first cycle rises to 35.5%, the second cycle rises to 55.4% and it turns out that in the third cycle 82.2% of students have a good understanding of learning in PAI learning.

Keywords: Prediction Guide Strategy; Learning Understanding; PAI

Teacher has a very important role in creating an exciting and enjoyable learning environment in math lessons.Learning atmosphere is not exciting and fun for students usually to create learning activities that are less harmonious. As in SD 06 Perawang Barat is still low learning achievement of mathematics students, especially VD class with the number of students 32 people.Based on the mathematical repetition value of grade VD students contained in table 1 can be concluded that most students have not reached the established KKM that is 60 in 2012/2013 Another effort that teachers do is to provide practice questions (PR). Then the teacher also repeats the material that the students have not understood. But the effort made by the teacher has not achieved the expected result; low student learning achievement to mathematics is a material for researchers, that the need for mathematics learning that can improve the results of learning mathematics. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether the application of direct learning model in groups can improve student achievement on the subject matter of the fractional matter in the VD SDN 06 Perawang Barat class in the even semester of the academic year 2012/2013? The form of this research is collaborative classroom action research, in collaborative classroom action research involving teachers, principals, and outsiders in one team simultaneously, with the aim of improving learning outcomes, the development of theory and teacher performance improvement. Abstract It has become almost a cliché to say that we live in a post-truth world; that people of all trades speak with an indifference to truth. Speaking with an indifference to how things really are is famously regarded by Harry Frankfurt as the essence of bullshit. This paper aims to contribute to the philosophical and theoretical pragmatics discussion of bullshit. The aim of the paper is to offer a new theoretical analysis of what bullshit is, one that is more encompassing than Frankfurt’s original characterization. I part ways with Frankfurt in two points. Firstly, I propose that we should not analyze bullshit in intentional terms (i.e. as indifference). Secondly, I propose that we should not analyze it in relation to truth. Roughly put, I propose that bullshit is best characterized as speaking with carelessness toward the evidence for one’s conversational contribution. I bring forward, in the third section, a battery of examples that motivate this characterization. Furthermore, I argue that we can analyze speaking with carelessness toward the evidence in Gricean terms as a violation of the second Quality maxim. I argue that the Quality supermaxim, together with its subordinate maxims, demand that the speaker is truthful (contributes only what she believes to be true) and reliable (has adequate evidence for her contribution). The bullshitter’s main fault lies in being an unreliable interlocutor. I further argue that we should interpret what counts as adequate evidence, as stipulated by the second Quality Maxim, in contextualist terms: the subject matter and implicit epistemic standards determine how much evidence one needs in order to have adequate evidence. I contrast this proposed reading with a subjectivist interpretation of what counts as having adequate evidence and show that they give different predictions. Finally, working with a classic distinction, I argue that we should not understand bullshit as a form of deception but rather as a form of misleading speech.

The investigation was conducted In order to evaluate the objecitivily of the three ways of grading school work: classical way which is used most in schools, then grading with the help of "standard notebook" lor the grade "C" and the grading of work comparatively in pairs. The subject of evaluation was the school work of the third-graders in middle school. Subjects were history and biology, The independent graders were the teachers of these subjects from different middle schools. The results showed that all of these ways of grading do not ensure the same objectivity of grades. The least objective is the classical way, more reliable is one with "standard notebook" and relatively most reliable is the comparison of school work done in pairs.

Action research was conducted to improve the teaching of the analysis of the population pyramid to Grade 7 female Geography students. Instrumental Enrichment was selected as a tool to teach the analysis of the population pyramid. Firstly, the concept of a population pyramid was introduced and taught using an existing teaching method and a baseline assessment was conducted. Instrumental Enrichment was then introduced, and students used the tool to analyse four population pyramids. A concluding assessment measured the improvement in students’ ability to analyse the population pyramid. The use of Instrumental Enrichment did enhance the students’ understanding of the population pyramid. However, they were not able to use it consistently and independently. This agrees with Willingham (2009) that students remember what they think about and the findings of Bellaera (2017) and Adams (1991) that students are not able to develop critical thinking purely by interacting with the subject matter. A refinement of Instrumental Enrichment was proposed considering these principles.
