This study focuses on Tortor Batak Toba in relation to the social understanding of the supporting community, which is motivated by documentation in the form of writing, video, and other forms that are not recorded and accurate. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach and the location of the study in dance study program Sendratasik Department. Data collection methods are carried out with documentation and interviews. The results shows that the structure analysis of Toba Tortor Batak motion form was formed from the top design namely vertical design, horizontal design, pure design, static design, straight design, medium design, and floor design that is straight design, as well as learning design of imitation motion tortor dance.

AbstractTo uncover the causes that give rise to a lack of student interest in participating in language activities. To uncover strategies to increase student interest in participating in language activities in Arabic Language Study Program Faculty of Education and Teaching in IAIN Bengkul5.In this study, researchers used a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection methods for this study by observation, interviews and documents. Language activities include teaching and learning activities every Wednesday, Weekly Arabic activities, vocabulary sharing activities, lectures, dramas. Lack of a clear curriculum led to the failure to achieve the objectives of this activity, the lack of relationship between teachers and students, the relationship between students and the students because many students does not make affect other students, the lack of discipline in the MLA, no media to learn.Key Word: Enthusiasm of students; Language activity; Teaching Arabic

Abstrak: Ungkapan kata interjeksi tidak mudah dimengerti. Kadang seorang pembaca belum paham apa yang disampaikan oleh pengarang tentang isi novel, sehingga hal ini yang membuat peneliti tentang interjeksi dalam naskah drama dan memberikan pengetahuan tentang apa itu interjeksi. Jadi, interjeksi adalah kata yang digunakan untuk  mengungkapkan perasaan seseorang maupun dalam bentuk senang, sedih, kecewa, jijik,marah,kaget,kangen dan sebagainya. Misalkanya, (wah, ngono kuwi, hah, heh, alhamdulillah dan astagfirullahalazim) yang memiliki arti yang berbeda-beda dalam setiap konteks tuturannya.. penelitian ini bertujuan yaitu untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk dan fungsi interjeksi yang terdapat dalam naskah drama “pesta para pencuri” karya jean Annoulih Saduran Rachman Sabur. Metode penelitian adalah deskriftif kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data yaitu dokumentasi dan telaan, sedangkan metode analisis data adalah identifikasi, klarifikasi, dan interpretasi.Hasil penelitian ini adalah bentuk interjeksi dalam naskah drama “pesta para pencuri” yang sudah ditemukan melalui penelitian sebanyak 9 bentuk interjeksi yaitu: Oh, hah, oh ya, ya, ah, hah,aah,ssst, dan he he he dan ungsi interjeksi ditemukan 7 fungsi interjeksi yaitu: kekecewaan, harapan, kesyukuran, keheranan, kekagetan, panggilan, dan marah atau makian. Abstract : The expression interjection is not easy to understand. Sometimes a reader does not understand what is conveyed by the author about the contents of the novel, so this is what makes researchers about the interjection in the play an provide knowledge about what is interjection. So, interjection is a word used to express someone’s feelings and in the form of happy, sad, disappointed, disgusted, angry, shocked, missed, and so on. For example, (Wow, Ngono Kuwi, Hah, Heh, Alhamdulillah and Astagfirullahalazim) which have different meanings in each context of the speech. This research aims to find out the formsand functions of the interjection contained in the drama script “party of thieves”. The work Jean Annoulih Saduran Rachman Sabur. The research method is qualitative descriptive with data collection methods, namely documentation and research, while the data analysis method is indentification, clarification, and interpretation. The result of this study are forms of interjection in the drama script “party of thieves” which have been found through research as many as 9 forms of interjection, Oh, Hah, Oh yes, Yes, Ah, Hah, Aah, Stt, and He he he and interjection function found 7 interjection functions, namely: disappointment, hope, gratitude, astonishment, shock, call, and anger or curse.

Tulisan ini menggali rasionalitas penggunaan tradisi sikep penglaris masyarakat Islam Aboge di dusun Tumpangrejo kabupaten Malang dalam perspektif Webberian. Pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif digunakan dalam artikel ini dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data dengan mendeskripsikan secara mendalam  data yang diperoleh melalui  reduksi, interpretasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian menemukan bahwa rasionalitas tradisional dan rasionalitas instrumental mengemuka dalam penggunaan sikep penglaris. Salah satu rasionalitas tradisional adalah sikep penglaris merupakan tradisi turun temurun dari nenek moyang sebelum membuka usaha. Tradisi ini menjadi kesadaran kolektif masyarakat Aboge. Secara instrumental, pilihan menggunakan sikep penglaris karena munculnya ketakukan akan gangguan magis yang menyebabkan kebangkrutan atau  usahanya tidak berjalan seperti yang diharapakan. Menariknya antara satu sikep penglaris dengan lainnya memiliki perbedaan. Perbedaan tersebut karena perbedaan guru spiritiual sekaligus media sikep penglaris. Bertahannya sikep penglaris tidak terlepas dari proses konstruksi yang terus berjalan secara dialektis dalam kehidupan sosial masyarakat Tumpangrejo.      This paper explores the rationality of using the tradition of sikep penglaris in the Islamic community of Aboge in Tumpangrejo, Malang Regency, from a Webberian perspective. A qualitative descriptive approach is used with data collection techniques through observation and interviews in this article. Data analysis by describing in depth the data obtained through reduction, interpretation, and drawing conclusions. Research founds that traditional rationality and instrumental rationality come to the fore in the use of sikep penglaris. One of the traditional rationalities is that sikep penglaris is a tradition passed down from generation to generation before opening a business. This tradition has become the collective consciousness of the Aboge people. Instrumentally, the choice using sikep penglaris due to the fear of magical interference that will cause bankruptcy or the business does not well as expected. Interestingly, there are differences between one sikep penglaris cycle and another. This difference is due to differences in spiritual teachers as well as sikep penglais media. The persistence of sikep penglaris cannot be separated from the construction process that continues in the social life of the Tumpanrejo community dialectically.

This study aims to determine the strategy of the Journal of Community Development of Thought Media and Development Da'wah in improving the quality of its articles. The research method in this article uses a qualitative descriptive approach with purposive sampling as a technique for withdrawing the informants. This research uses interviews and documentation studies in data collection. The results of this study are grouped into two parts, namely strategies to improve the ability of journal managers to operationalize OJS, and strategies to improve the quality of articles. Field findings show that training is carried out by bringing in experts, participating in training conducted by the Faculty Journal House and also the University Journal House, as well as several other similar trainings. The second group is the strategy to improve the final quality. There are three things, namely forming a team with clear job descriptions, giving rewards and punishments for the success of the achievements obtained by the journal. The last one is the participation of journal managers in training.

Instagram social media is a unique medium because through this media not only communicating by sharing photos, but also penetrating into videos that everyone can get various videos that inform various kinds of actifities or routines that are carried out. The use of instagram also occurs among the community in the city of Bengkulu, precisely Sanggar Arastra community, thus encouraging members to play Instagram. The purpose of this study is to find out the motives of social media users to upload instagram story. This study uses a qualitative research method with a qualitative descriptive approach and this study uses the motive theory by Papacharissi and Rubin (2017), which consist of several motives, utility motives and motives seeking information. This research was conducted with data collection techniques through interview, observation and documentation study. The subjects in this study were five members of Sanggar Arastra owning an Android or iOS cellphone with an application and an Instagram account, they actively play Instagram and like ti upload photos, videoa and texts on the Instagram Story. The results of thie study indicate that the motives of members of Sanggar Arastra in uploading photos, videos nd texts in Instagram story are convenience motives, entertainment motives, passing time motives to follow current trends. Of all the motives, there is the most dominant motive, namely Convenience Motives because what they upload on Instagram stories is a form of expressing themselves, a place to express feelings in the form of photos, videoa and texts. Their uploads form a good image in order to get the desired recognition.

This study describes the potential of sharia online business on increasing the income of the company through e-commerce. This research method is a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques such as observation, documentation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that in online marketing, the business of selling kalamsi liebhy itself goes through the stages as follows: 1. Creating the concept of displaying Liebhy Kalamansi product photos; 2. Displaying Photos of Goods in Realpict; 3. Providing services to prospective customers by establishing two-way communication so that prospective customers decide to close and make payments and direct the Bai ’Assalam contract; 4. A neat packing process and keep the goods sent from being damaged during delivery until it reaches the customer's hands. Some summaries of the results of interviews conducted show sales through e-commerce conducted by liebhy kalamansi on shoppe and instagram. This research is based on the development of feminism values in the community. In a patriarchal environment, women have a low position compared to men. Women are subordinated in various fields of life, such as in the fields of education, social affairs and economics. This study aims to describe the values of feminism contained in the novel “Merry Riana: Mimpi Sejuta Dollar” by Alberthiene Endah. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study with a feminist literary criticism approach. The research method used is content analysis with data collection techniques read and record. The data source in this study is the novel “Merry Riana: Mimpi Sejuta Dollar” by Alberthiene Endah. Based on the results of the research, in the novel “Merry Riana: Mimpi Sejuta Dollar” by Alberthiene Endah there are values of feminism which include: (a) the value of feminism in education, (b) the value of feminism in the social field, and (c) the value of feminism in the economic. The descriptive study of Blauran Traditional Market Traders in Palangka Raya City was motivated by problems arising from the rapid emergence of modern markets which were feared to shift the existence of traditional markets in Palangka Raya City. Where the problems that occur in traditional markets greatly affect the existence of the traditional markets themselves, from the problems of services provided by traders to the most frequent problems that arise, namely regarding the cleanliness in traditional markets. This study aims to describe and analyze the social dynamics of traders in the Blauran traditional market, Palangka Raya City. While the research method is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation study. The results showed that the Blauran traditional market traders instilled values ​​and norms that had existed from generation to generation from generation to generation before them. So that traders can easily overcome problems that arise as a result of the emergence of modern markets, and with the development of the era traders provide other innovations from pre-existing values ​​and practice them directly to buyers in order to provide comfort obtained from the work ethic produced directly by traders.

The development of Semarapura City Tourism through City Tour has not been running as expected, so it has not been able to increase foreign tourist arrivals and has not been able to improve the economy of the community. The research objective was to identify integrated development of City Tour City Semarapura tourism through the SHIP Approach. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection methods used in this study were observation and interviews. The theory used in this study is the Tourism Area Life-Cycle, explaining the position of development of Semarapura tourism. SHIP theory (systemic, holistic, interdiciplinary, and participatory) to describe and explain how the integrated development of City Tour in Semarapura City. The integrated form of City Tour tourism in Semarapura city is carried out by designing tourism models with improvements to the previous City Tour program and designing new tour packages, with additional classes for each package. Puppet painting class, weaving class, metal craft / kepeng money making class and brown sugar making class. The development of City Tour with the addition of tourist classes will provide experience for foreign tourists who visit and have a positive impact on the economy of the community through active participation from all stakeholders. The purpose of this study is to describe and explain: (1) the teacher’s interest become principals in  Kudus, (2 recruitment system of principals in Kudus; (3) the factors that cause interest and disinterest of teachers to become principals in Kudus; (4) the problems in the recruitment of principal at Kudus, and (5) the best solution in order to have an interest in becoming the principal at Kudus. This research was conducted in the UPT Pendidikan Kaliwungu Kudus with the  respondent principals, teachers, and Kasie PTK Dikpora Kudus. The type and the approach that is used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection methods which is used is interviews and documentation. The analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis.The results of this study indicate that: (1) the majority of primary school teachers in the Kaliwungu Kudus don’t have interest in becoming principals because teachers feel comfortable and satisfied with his position as a teacher. Next, it is because of the burden and the task of the school head is heavier. Salaries and benefits received by teachers is more than enough also be because teachers do not intend to participate in the selection of the school head; (2) principal recruitment system in Kaliwungu Kudus covers the administration and academic selection. The recruitment model that is used is external recruitment. The recruitment procedures begin with data collection and mapping the number of principal empty formations. Then the official quotas applicants and make a selection announcement through a circular letter to all educational units. Applicants are asked to collect file administrative requirements. For those who pass the selection and administration will follow an academic test followed by interview and presentation.; (3) there are no factors that cause the interest of teachers to become principals. While the factors that cause the teachers are not interested in being the principal is the workload is too high when compared with teachers, compensation that is not balanced with the workload and physical readiness, mental and financial; (4) the obstacles in the recruitment principal at Kaliwungu Kudus covers compensation benefits to the principal are not balanced and the requirements of physical readiness, mental and materail; and (5) the best solution so that teachers have an interest in becoming the head of the school is to implement personnel management, especially in the provision of compensation should be reviewed and adjusted to the principal heavy duties. The amount of compensation should be added.
