The activeness of all students’ senses can occur if students participate actively in learning activities. One of the learning activities that are able to actively involve students is by the way of outdoor learning. Research sub-focus: Cultural Heritage and Colonial Historical Sites. The formulation of the problem in this study: Historical value in the colonial period sites in the city of Palembang. The purpose of this research is to provide resource that can be used in learning History in High School. The benefit of this research is the availability of source and references for writing the history of the colonial period in Palembang. This research used history (historical) method, assisted by scientific approach from various fields (multi-approach) such as theological, political, anthropological and sociological sciences. The results of the research on colonial historical sites in the city of Palembang contain as a source of learning based on outdoor learning in high school.

The introduction of the Senapelan Harbor, as a part of history of the early birth of the city of Pekanbaru, to students is very important as part of a local history. To explore the historical story and the existence of Senapelan Harbor in the present, it is important for History teachers to introduce the port site through the field work learning method, accompanied by an android-based digital map media. The purposes of this study are (1) to determine how much knowledge high school students in Pekanbaru have about the historical sites of Senapelan Harbor. (2) to determine the effectiveness of the field trip method and digital maps in fostering the love of high school students for the local history of Senapelan Harbor. (3) to find out how much student achievement in learning local history has increased, by using the historical tourism work research method, based on digital maps.

Abstrak: Kajian tentang Kota Lubuklinggau berdasarkan kronologis sejarah masih belum ada kajian yang komprehensif, sehingga terjadi kegagalan pemahaman generasi muda dalam memahami sejarah Kota Lubuklinggau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kota Lubuklinggau pada masa Kolonial Belanda, masa pendudukan Jepang, masa setelah proklamasi kemerdekaan serta masa agresi militer pertama dan kedua. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode sejarah, antara lain heuristik, kritik sumber, intepretasi dan historiografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Lubuklinggau Tahun 1929 menjadi dusun kedudukan marga Sindang Kelingi Ilir, kemudian dikembangkan menjadi ibukota Onder Afdeeling Moesie Oeloe masa kolonial Belanda Tahun. Pada masa Jepang Tahun 1942, Lubuklinggau menjadi ibukota Bunshu Musikami Rawas. Pada masa setelah kemerdekaan Tahun 1945, Lubuklinggau menjadi Kawedanaan Musi Ulu sekaligus menjadi ibukota Kabupaten Musi Ulu Rawas. Kemudian pada masa agresi militer Belanda I Tahun 1947 dan agresi militer Belanda II Tahun 1948, Lubuklinggau menjadi pusat pemerintahan Karesidenan Palembang sekaligus pusat pemerintahan militer Sub Teritorium Sumatera Selatan (SUBKOSS). Kata Kunci: Moesie Oeloe, Musi Ulu Rawas, LubuklinggauAbstract: The study of Lubuklinggau City is based on historical chronology, there is still no comprehensive study, so that there is a failure in understanding the young generation in understanding the history of Lubuklinggau City. Furthermore, this study aims to describe the city of Lubuklinggau during the Dutch colonial period, the Japanese occupation period, the period after the proclamation of independence and the period of the first and second military aggression. The research method used is the historical method, including heuristics, source criticism, interpretation and historiography. The results showed that Lubuklinggau in 1929 became the hamlet of the Sindang Kelingi Ilir clan, then it was developed into the capital of Onder Afdeeling Moesie Oeloe during the Dutch colonial period. During the Japanese period in 1942, Lubuklinggau became the capital of the Bunshu Musikami Rawas. In the period after independence in 1945, Lubuklinggau became Kawedanaan Musi Ulu as well as the capital of Musi Ulu Rawas Regency. Then during the Dutch military aggression I in 1947 and Dutch military aggression II in 1948, Lubuklinggau became the center of the Palembang Residency government as well as the center of the South Sumatra SubTerritory (SUBKOSS) military government. This research is motivated by the low mathematical communication skills of junior high school students in the city of Bandung Regency. This study aims to determine the comparison of the mathematical communication skills of junior high school students in the city of Bandung regency between the learning usingmodels Think Talk Write. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design involving two groups and randomly selected classes, at the beginning and end of the study the two classes were given a test. The population in this study were junior high school students in the city of Bandung Regency, while the sample consisted of two randomly selected classes. Obtained class VII A (experimental class) given themodel Think Talk Write and class VII B (control class) is given a scientific approach. The instrument used was a 5-item mathematical communication ability description test, then theability scores mathematical communication students'were analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics using the help of SPSS 21 software. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that there were differences in the achievement of students' mathematical communication skills using models Think Talk Write with students who used a scientific approach.

O presente estudo tem como finalidade, a investigação do conteúdo das geotecnologias no ensino médio em algumas escolas estaduais de Montes Claros-MG, com virtude na otimização e valorização desta área do conhecimento que compete ao ensino escolar, tendo em vista o avanço e acessibilidade dos meios tecnológicos aos estudantes, mas não há familiarização dos mesmos com esses meios no ambiente escolar. Aos professores, cabe considerar neste trabalho, a maneira como eles congregam o assunto proposto ao seu sistema de trabalho, analisando as possíveis dificuldades encontradas. Inicia-se o trabalho apresentando um breve histórico das geotecnologias e o seu desdobramento nos tempos vigente fazendo menção aos meios pedagógicos e de softwares voltados para a prática cartográfica. Metodologicamente serão acatadas como objeto e critério da pesquisa, cinco escolas estaduais localizadas no perímetro urbano da cidade. Posteriormente foi aplicado um formulário aos professores das referidas escolas, em modo de amostra, com intuito de acurar os entraves no processo de ensino-aprendizagem acerca da disciplina. Após a obtenção dos resultados verificou-se a capacidade de apreensão do conteúdo das geotecnologias e as arestas a serem aparadas no que tange o ensino. Palavras-chave: Geotecnologias; cartografia; ensino-aprendizagem; limitações.   GEOGRAPHIC TECHNOLOGIES IN HIGH SCHOOL: a case study in public schools of Montes Claros / MG Abstract The present study has as its purpose, the investigation of the content of geotechnology in high school in some state schools in Montes Claros, MG, with virtue in optimization and enhancement of this area of knowledge that it is the responsibility of the schools, with a view to the advancement and accessibility of technological resources for students, but there are familiarization themselves with these means in the school environment. For teachers, it is considered in this work, the way they associate the subject proposed to its system of work, analyzing the potential difficulties encountered. It begins the work by presenting a brief history of geotechnology and its deployment in times legislation making mention to the training resources and software designed for the practice mapping. Methodologically speaking will be taken as an object and search criterion, five state schools located within the city limits of the city. It was later applied a form to teachers of these schools, in order to sample, with a view to enhance obstacles in the teaching-learning process about the discipline. After obtaining the results it was found that the ability to apprehend the contents of geotechnology and the edges to be trimmed edges in the teaching. Keywords: Geotechnology; cartography; teaching-learning; limitations.   TECNOLOGÍAS GEOGRÁFICAS EN LA ESCUELA SECUNDARIA: un estudio de caso en las escuelas públicas en Montes Claros / MG Resumen El presente estudio tiene como objetivo, la investigación del contenido de geotechnologies en algunas escuelas secundaria estatales de Montes Claros, MG, con la virtud en la optimización y mejora de esta área de conocimiento que es responsabilidad de las escuelas, con miras a la promoción y la accesibilidad de los recursos tecnológicos para estudiantes, pero hay que se familiaricen con estos medios en el entorno escolar. Para los profesores, es considerado en este trabajo, la manera de asociar el tema propuesto para su sistema de trabajo, analizando las posibles dificultades encontradas. Comienza el trabajo presentando una breve historia de geotechnologies y su despliegue en tiempos legislación haciendo mención a los recursos de formación y software diseñado para la práctica ha cambiado. Metodológicamente hablando será tomado como un objeto y criterios de búsqueda, cinco escuelas estatales situadas dentro de los límites de la ciudad. Posteriormente se aplicó un formulario para los maestros de estas escuelas, a fin de muestra, con miras a acurar obstáculos en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje acerca de la disciplina. Tras la obtención de los resultados se encontró que la capacidad de aprehender el contenido de geotechnologies y los bordes que va a recortar los bordes de la enseñanza. Crucial issues, as well as the classic issues that have always been the subject of historical learning problems related to activities or learning processes that tend to be monotonous, boring and lack of innovation and creativity of the teachers in designing historical learning activities that can generate students interest and motivation in learning the history. The 2013 curriculum presents a special challenge for teachers to design studentcentered learning activities using a scientific approach through problembased learning models, project-based learning and discovery learning models. One solution that can be done by history teachers in answering the challenges of the 2013 curriculum is to design learning activities through historical comics. Historical teachers can apply problem-based learning models by utilizing historical comics that are already available on the market as well as on the internet. In addition, history teachers can also apply project-based learning models through activities of making comic history by learners in accordance with the historical learning material learned. The design of learning activities through comics is expected to create innovations in the form of historical comics as a result of the design and creativity of the students. The process of learning history through the making of comics is certainly based on a scientific approach and student-centered. History teachers are asked to direct, provide solutions and suggestions to improve the quality of learning activities and learning outcomes as well as the quality of historical comic produced by students.

Dieng Temple site in the highlands of Central Java has not been used as a source of learning history. The site can be used to bring learners closer to their environment. This study aims to improve the historical comprehension of learners through the use of Dieng Temple site as a source of historical learning. This research is a Classroom Action Research in Public High School 1 Wonosobo. Data were collected by observation, inter-view and documentation. The results showed that the learning process of history through Dieng Temple site can provide the ability to learners to interpret the literal meaning of Dieng Temple by using their own language. This makes students able to understand the history of existing sites in the Dieng area. Understanding the history has been raising awareness of learners to take part in maintaining the sustainability of Dieng temple site.

<p class="abstract">Este texto busca refletir sobre a efetivação do ensino de História e Cultura Africana e Afro-Brasileira após 2003. Adotamos como conceitos norteadores a consciência histórica e a cultura histórica, de Jörn Rüsen e Klaus Bergmann. A amostra analisada foi constituída por 254 estudantes ponta-grossenses que responderam a um instrumento com questões fechadas e abertas. Neste texto, são discutidos os resultados referentes especificamente à história da África. A metodologia usada é a estatística descritiva. Os resultados indicam a consecução parcial dos objetivos, com relativa vantagem da amostra de escola privada. Verificou-se ainda que, entre os autodeclarados negros, o alcance dos objetivos revelou-se mais limitado, o que enseja uma reflexão didática adicional para a correção de rumos do processo.</p><p class="abstract"><strong>Palavras-chave</strong>: didática da história - aprendizagem histórica - história da África - educação étnico-racial.</p><p class="abstract"> </p><p class="abstract"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p class="abstract"><em>This text aims to reflect on the teaching of African and Afro-Brazilian history and culture, after 2003. Historical consciousness and historical culture were stated at this text as guiding concepts, in the theoretical bias of Jörn Rüsen e Klaus Bergmann. The sample consisted of 254 students from the city of Ponta Grossa who answered an instrument with closed and open questions. In this text the results referring specifically to the history of Africa are discussed. The methodology used is descriptive statistics. The results indicate the partial achievement of the objectives, with a relative advantage of the private school sample. It was also verified that among the self-declared blacks the scope of the objectives was more limited, which leads to an additional didactic reflection for the correction of course of the process. </em></p><p class="abstract"><strong><em>Keywords</em></strong>: history didactics - historical learning - history of Africa - ethnic-racial education.</p>

This study aims to determine the history of the Ombilin Sawahlunto coal mine, the use of this site as a historical learning resource based on outdor learning and the obstacles it faces in its utilization. The method used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The sources used were interviews, literature and newspapers. After collecting the sources and separating the primary and secondary sources, rewrite them. The research results found that government projects in the city of sawahlunto consist of three projects including first, exploitation of coal mines, second, construction of railways, third, construction of the port of Emmahaven (Teluk Bayur). Traces of Dutch heritage that still exist today are the railway museum, Goedang Ranseum, Mbah Soero Mine Hole, and the Coal Mining Museum. This legacy can be used as a source of historical learning based on outdor learning.

History is a subject that instills students’ enthusiasm to always advance the nation and country as a sense of pride and gratitude for the services of the heroes who had struggled to defend and win Indonesia's independence. Encountering the history of the struggle of the heroes able to encourage younger generation to have a high historical awareness that is reflected in everyday life. Learning history in a school which meets the students’ needs effects a good historical awareness for the students. This study aimed to analyze the students’ needs in learning history based on the local historical figure of the King Sang Naualuh Damanik. This research was conducted at a state high school in Indonesia. Participants in this study were thirty-four of eleventh grade students and a history teacher. This study used a qualitative method by collecting data from questionnaires to thirty-four students and interviews with a history teacher and five students. The results showed that students needed learning media that were integrated with technology in the teaching learning process of history based on local historical figure of the King Sang Naualuh Damanik.

This study aims to develop a geometry module based on ethnomathematics with a scientific approach, test the module's validity and feasibility, and determine the effect of using modules in learning on students' metacognitive abilities. This study uses a research and development (R&D) approach with a 4D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The research subjects were students of 8rd Junior High School in Malang. Data analysis of the effect of the use of modules on metacognition abilities using the paired sample t-test. The research results showed the ethnomathematics based geomery module with a scientific approach is valid, developed by with a 4D model. The module is also categorized as effective for use in learning activities. The ethnomathematics based geometry modules with a scientific approach has an effect on metacognition abilities.
