Pembangunan suatu daerah, biasanya diawali dengan peningkatan kesehatan masyarakat. Dengan kondisi sehat, maka masyarakat akan dapat melakukan segala aktivitas dengan baik. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan sanitasi dan kesehatan lingkungan masyarakat kecamatan Mayangan Kota Probolinggo. Dengan kondisi sanitasi dan kesehatan lingkungan yang lebih baik, diharapkan program pembangunan masyarakat akan tercapai. Hasil dari kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat Mayangan ini adalah terbentuknya kampong wisata Benteng dan vertical garden, serta rumah sehat dari 2 kelurahan yang terpilih yaitu Mayangan dan Mangunharjo. Kata kunci : mayangan; sanitasi; kesehatan lingkungan ABSTRACT Development of an area, usually begins with improving public health. With a healthy condition, the community will be able to do all the activities well. The purpose of this activity is to improve sanitation and community environmental health in Mayangan sub-district, Probolinggo City. With better sanitation and environmental health conditions, it is hoped that community development programs will be achieved. The results of the Mayangan community empowerment activities were the formation of the Benteng and vertical garden tourism villages, as well as the healthy houses of the 2 selected villages namely Mayangan and Mangunharjo.

Community service program was conducted in Kaloling Village, Bantaeng Regency (200 km from Makassar City). Kaloling village has the characteristics of a religious community, hardworking, open-minded, and supported by educational facilities available at all levels of education. However, kaloling villagers do not have the opportunity to study the Qur'an intensively because of their daily routine and busy work. therefore, the activities of KKN STIBA Makassar in Bantaeng Regency are focused on community development programs to study the Qur'an, called "Gemar Qur'an". In its implementation, PkM began by using soar analysis approach to the needs of local community empowerment. From the analysis, the Qur'an learning movement program consists of two activities, Tahsinul Qiro'ah (improvement of qur'an reading) for Muslims and Daurah Memorization and muroja'ah Al-Qur'an for children. the result of this PkM activity is formed several learning groups of the Qur'an consisting of various age levels for tahsinul Qiro'ah activities. Other results are increased motivation and enthusiasm of children in learning, as well as playing and having fun while learning.

The implementation in Bone Regency from the aspect of community development, direct community assistance, capacity building for the government, local actors, management assistance, and program development showed effective results. Implementation has been carried out by the organizers well in carrying out development programs starting with the construction of road infrastructure, irrigation, lending business funds to the community. The program provides changes to the economy and social life of the city. The implementation of this program has several obstacles, such as the community lacking understanding of the aims and objectives of the program, the lack of responsibility of some communities in returning the revolving funds that have given.

The policy of poverty reduction based on empowerment issued into Local Regulation of Semarang City No. 12 in 2016 will be hard to implement without stakeholders. It needs a relationship of university-industry-government so that policy poverty reduction can be run well. This relationship can be seen from the role of Tri Dharma of Universities and CSR from various companies in community development and community empowerment. The important thing is synchronization between development policy, Road Map community service by the university, and CSR strategic plan in order to avoid overlapping in the implementation of community development programs. Role identification of the triple helix relationship needs to be reviewed so that University-industry-government has a proportionate and effective function.

<p>Community empowerment is an attempt to make people become empowered through learning efforts so that they are able to manage and be responsible for development programs in the community. Learning is implemented in a series of community development. The purpose of this research was to evaluate the process of community empowerment in PNPM Urban activities in terms of aspects Sastrodirjan village community development, with the goal of research is to assess the implementation of community development, assessing public attitudes and perspectives on community empowerment and assess the degree of empowerment. The approach in this research is deductive method of qualitative analysis and quantitative descriptive . Results reveal that the capacity of community development activities in the village Sastrodirjan has been implemented in accordance with the principles of empowerment and have managed to change the level of public awareness and increase understanding of the role of development in their communities. The findings obtained are changes in public awareness of the respondents did not relate to age, level of education and its role in PNPM, but having a relationship with sex, where the role and involvement of women is still low and not enough to support optimal development at the community level.</p>

<p>The aims of this study are (1) Describe the type of business and empowerment strategies are carried out on a group of craftsmen in the District of Camplong; (2) Describe efforts to achieve self-sufficiency in the economy in a group of craftsmen in the District of Camplong; and (3) Describe the obstacles faced in the community empowerment program to achieve economic independence in the group of craftsmen in the District of Camplong. This study used a  qualitative approach various case studies. The collection of data are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed by classified and reduction data, withdrawal the conclution. Results of this research show, First: Strategies undertaken MDW in community development programs in the District of Camplong includes 7 steps. The type of business of the group of which are: 1) Pastries An-Nur village Dharma in Camplong; 2). Mukenah Gallery 99 in  Tambaan villages; 3). Crackers Taddan in Taddan village; 4). Pastry Taddan in Taddan village; 5). Haji cap Ala Arabia in Taddan village; 6). Batik Mandangin in village Mandangin Island; and 7). Shoes in sejati village; Second: The efforts made by MDW to achieve economic independence in the group of craftsmen in the District of Camplong are: 1). Assistance to craftsmen / auxiliaries; 2). Changing the mindset of the community of workers / laborers to be a creator of employment / self-employment; 3). Facilitate group of craftsmen with the help of venture capital in the form of raw materials in accordance with their respective efforts; 4). Providing training for members of groups of craftsmen organized by the government or universities; 5). Building a partnership with a modern market in Sampang; Third: Obstacles encountered in community development programs in the district Camplong are: 1). Mindset and attitude of traditional society; 2). Weak human resources and low work ethic;  3).  Limited funding / capital; 4). <p>In the Indonesian context, the political economy of Islam embodied in the form of government intervention, such as making the rules, get into the industry, initiating a movement, and others. <em>Zakat</em>, as a form of moral responsibility that is both ethical fardlu 'ain for every Muslim. If realized productively, it will be able to empower the social economy. Zakat is not merely consumptive consumable donations, but they can be used in the form of community development programs. Potential sources of Islamic philanthropy is <em>Infak</em>, <em>Sadaqah</em> and <em>Waqf</em>. It would be nice, if it is enabled philanthropy funds in the form of community empowerment through a million entrepreneurs, for example. More useful, and does not degrade Indonesia in the eyes of other nations. ZISWAF as a source of Islamic philanthropy should be utilized to achieve the welfare of the people. Government support in the form of political economy based on the principles of Islamic economics make progress and economic growth in the practice of Islam in Indonesia became rapidly.</p>

The construction of public participation has paid his dues. This is that in realizing development projects readily undergoing a failure that empowers people. Related in all process that deals with planning, implementation, the use of results and development monitoring. The rural infrastructure development program (PPIP) is development programs community empowerment. Where people have got to dive headlong in village development, especially physical development he purposes of this research is to find how the participation of the community in the Rural infrastructure development program (PPIP), Ngranget Village, Dagangan District, Madiun Regency. The kind of research is qualitative descriptive. In research, this is the population is the number of household heads involved in the delivery rabat concrete development in Ngranget village which consisted of 95 KK. The majority of informants interviewed in this research was 12 people. Was used in the study data collection method that is Technical Documentation interviews and data available for analysis namely described the results of research or data with a form of what is he got writer whether it is the results of the interviews, or result in appreciating documentation then investigated and the studies of the issue and. The result that the community participation in development in the village of rabat concrete Ngranget mind (planning), low participation in the form of energy high, participation in the form of expertise, quite low in the form of goods low, the form of money and participation is very low.

Forest management in terms of its production function is directed towards management that is oriented towards all potential forestry resources and is based on community empowerment. The Wana Tekat Mandiri Farmer Group Association manages community forests, namely state forests whose main use is aimed at empowering the community. The rampant illegal logging is carried out by irresponsible parties outside of the farmer group association. So that community groups that carry out illegal logging do not support the Regional Government in providing guidance to the Association of Farmer groups in the Sendang Agung District area. The type of research used in this research is descriptive type with a qualitative approach, data collection techniques, observation, interviews, documentation. The results of this study indicate that the strategy of community development and empowerment in community forest utilization has been running well and the implementation of the strategy has been deemed successful in implementation. The coaching strategy has a main objective in the framework of developing a coaching plan in carrying out activities or programs of Gapoktan Wana Tekad Mandiri, namely by how to develop skills, develop knowledge and develop attitudes. The existence of this coaching strategy is expected to have a good empowering impact on the community.
