The performance of civil servants in the taxation sector will determine the success of state tax revenue. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the performance optimization of the KP2KP employees. Qualitative research with an explanatory research approach. Primary data sources were carried out through in-depth interviews with informants from the KP2KP, field observations and collection of written documentation. After analyzing the data, the researcher found that the optimization of the performance of civil servants with limited human resources can be realized through empowerment, development, competency improvement, employee motivation through adequate compensation and leadership effectiveness in KP2KP. Research results are very important for policy makers in perfecting their policies. Optimizing the performance of civil servants through empowerment, development, increasing competence, providing employee motivation through adequate compensation and leadership effectiveness in KP2KP. This study presents different points of view on the topic of civil servant performance. Increasing the performance optimization of civil servants with limited human resources is a new thing and according to the author's knowledge, the results of this study are the first to explain the increase in the performance optimization of KP2KP employees in Ogan Ilir Regency.   Abstrak Kinerja PNS di bidang perpajakan sangat menentukan keberhasilan penerimaan pajak negara. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis optimalisasi kinerja pegawai KP2KP. Penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian eksplanatori. Sumber data primer dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan informan dari KP2KP, observasi lapangan dan pengumpulan dokumentasi tertulis. Setelah menganalisis data, peneliti menemukan bahwa optimalisasi kinerja PNS dengan sumber daya manusia yang terbatas dapat diwujudkan melalui pemberdayaan, pengembangan, peningkatan kompetensi, motivasi pegawai melalui kompensasi yang memadai dan efektivitas kepemimpinan di KP2KP. Hasil penelitian sangat penting bagi pengambil kebijakan dalam menyempurnakan kebijakannya. Mengoptimalkan kinerja PNS melalui pemberdayaan, pengembangan, peningkatan kompetensi, pemberian motivasi pegawai melalui kompensasi yang memadai dan efektivitas kepemimpinan di KP2KP. Studi ini menyajikan sudut pandang yang berbeda tentang topik kinerja pegawai negeri. Peningkatan optimalisasi kinerja PNS dengan sumber daya manusia yang terbatas merupakan hal baru dan menurut pengetahuan penulis, hasil penelitian ini merupakan yang pertama menjelaskan peningkatan optimalisasi kinerja pegawai KP2KP di Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. The mosque has a very important role for the community, because the mosque has a role in prospering the community, not only as a place of worship, even the solution to life’s problems is in the mosque. The mosque also organizes many activities or program the takmirof the mosque must prepare everything properly, such as good facilities for pilgrims, the selection of priests and mosque managers who are competent in the field of spirituality to ensure the comfort and comfort of worshipers.The purpose of this reseach is to find out how to use air conditioner facilities in mosques and know how to maintain air conditioner facilities at mosques Baituk Ihsan. The research approach is descriptive case study approach because researchers describe a phenomenon using various sources of data. Source of the data in this study are primary data sources totaling 3 informants consisting of priests at the Masjid Baitul Ihsan Bank Indonesia Surabaya, chairman of takmir as well as a logistics section in BI and AC technicians in the Masjid Baitul Ihsan Bank Indonesia Surabaya. Data collection techniques used in this study are: Observation techniques, interview, and documentation. Processing techniques and data analysis are: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The result of the study indicate that the management of the air conditioner facilities in the Masjid Baitul Ihsan Bank Indonesia Surabaya is in accordance with the 7 stages of the process delivered by Suherman. This research has resulted in a good way to treat central AC. The implication of this research needs to be paid more attention to the evaluation of AC treatment at the Masjid Baitul Ihsan Bank Indonesia Surabaya. Masjid memiliki peran yang sangat penting bagi masyarakat, karena masjid memiliki andil dalam mensejahterahkan masyarakat, tidak hanya sebagai tempat beribadah saja, bahkan solusi dari permasalahan kehidupan ada di masjid. Masjid juga mengatur banyak sekali kegiatan atau program, para takmir masjid harus mempersiapkan segala sesuatunya dengan baik, seperti  fasilitas yang baik untuk para jama’ah, pemilihan imam serta menejer masjid yang berkompeten dalam bidang kerohanian untuk menjamin kekhusyuan dan kenyamanan jama’ah ketika beribadah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara pemanfaatan fasilitas air conditioner di Masjid Baitul Ihsan dan mengetahui bagaimana sistem pemeliharaan fasilitas air conditioner di Masjid Baitul Ihsan. Pendekatan penelitian yang dilakukan adalah pendekatan studi kasus deskriptif karena peneliti menggambarkan sebuah fenomena dengan menggunakan berbagai sumber data. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah sumber data primer berjumlah 3 informan yang terdiri dari imam masjid Baitul Ihsan Bank Indonesia Surabaya, ketua takmir sekaligus bagian logistic di BI dan teknisi AC di masjid Baitul Ihsan Bank Indonesia Surabaya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah: teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengolahan dan analisis data adalah: Data reduction (reduksi data), data display (penyajian data), conclusiondrawing/verification (penarikan kesimpulan). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen fasilitas air conditioner di masjid Baitul Ihsan Bank Indonesia Surabaya sudah sesuai dengan 7 tahapan proses yang disampakain oleh Suherman. Penelitian ini menghasilkan terkait cara perawatan yang AC central yang baik. Implikasi dari penelitian ini perlu lebih di perhatikan lagi terkait evaluasi perawatan AC di masjid Baitul Ihsan Bank Indonesia Surabaya.

This study aims to identify the human resources challenges existing in the apparel sector of Sri Lanka and provide recommendations to secure with managing the barriers to go ahead with future sustainability in the industry. The research approach is qualitative and followed the case study method. Face to face interviews was the method of collecting data by following a semi-structured questionnaire for the research, and the data analysis method was the thematic analysis. The finding demonstrates nine core human resources challenges in the apparel industry in Sri Lanka.

The aim of this study is to examine the effect of using e-learning tools on students achievement in learning who are majoring in accounting at Faculty of Economics and Business, Syiah Kuala University. This research uses quantitave research approach with the type of case study. The data used in this study is primary data by distributing questionnaires directly to all respondents. The population in this study is all students who are majoring in accounting at Faculty of Economics and Business, Syiah Kuala University. The sampling technique used in this study is Judment sampling. The number of questionnaires that have been analyzed are 33 questionnaires. Testing the effect of independent variable on the dependent variable was done by using simple linear regression model with SPSS. The result of this study indicates that the use of e-learning has a positive effect on students achievement in learning who are majoring in accounting at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Syiah Kuala University.

This writing discusses the effectiveness of the Pre-Work program in building human resources and the role of the Pre-employment program in building the quality of human resources. The objectives of this study were to: (1). Determine the effectiveness of the Pre-employment program in building resources amid the human pandemic. (2). Determine the role of the Pre-employment program in building the quality of human resources in the midst of a pandemic. By using a descriptive qualitative research approach, the type of data used in this study is primary data obtained from in-depth interviews with community recipients of the pre-work card program assistance. The research results obtained are: (1). Pre-employment programs are less effective in building human resources. (2). The Pre-employment Program plays a very important role in building the quality of human resources.

PT XYZ is a company which works in industry of oil and gas. With a lot of competition in the industry, PT XYZ needs to improve their performance especially in their main business line, Oil and Drilling Services Operation and also improve their Human Resources. One way to increase their performance is to know and improve the intrapreneurship in the company.This research is using qualitative approach. The first step conducted in this research was to look for the problem from the object being researched by the author. The data collections consist of primary data from questionnaire. There’ll be two questionnaire distributed. First one is Entrepreneurial Orientation Survey (EOS) to assess the current entrepreneurial condition in the company which distributed to the entire division of the company. The second one is Entrepreneurial Leadership Questionnaire (ELQ) which will asses the leader of the divisions with four types of intrapreneur leaders, Miners, Explorers, Accelerators and Integrators. ELQ was distributed in two key divisions, Division of Drilling and Oilfield Service as PT XYZ’s  core business and Human Resources Division to manage PT XYZ’s employees. This research will analyze the EOS and ELQ’s results and compare the result of both divisions of ELQOn the basis of the results of this research, it can be concluded that PT XYZ has a good entrepreneurial. PT XYZ’s employees also able to accept entrepreneurial environtment within the company. PT XYZ is also perform above average in the market, able to compesate the employees, empower the employees and doing innovation in par with the competitors. PT XYZ’s employees are also have some understanding about entrepreneurial knowledge. The leader in the PT XYZ’s Human Resource Division is Accelerator type while the leader in Division of Drilling and Oilfield Service is Miner type

This study investigated the impact of perceptions of ethnicity and tribalism on public administration in South Africa with reference to the protests of Vuwani communities in 2016 against their area being re-demarcated to fall under the LIM 345 municipality (later named the Collins Chabane Local Municipality) dominated by Xitsonga speakers. The study adopted qualitative and exploration designs and used a literature review and key informant interviews in order to obtain secondary and primary data respectively. This study revealed that Vuwani communities feared domination by the Xitsonga-speaking majority in the proposed new municipality. The council of the proposed new municipality consisted of 72 councillors, 74 per cent of which were Xitsonga-speaking councillors and a mere 26 per cent were Tshivenda-speaking councillors. It also found that perceptions of ethnicity and tribalism in Vuwani had rendered public administration ineffective, thus bringing service delivery to a halt for several months. The study recommended that policy-makers should abolish majority representation based solely on regionalism and should seek to forge national unity. It concluded that the establishment of public institutions based on ethnic homogeneity had the potential of bringing about peace and stability in areas characterised by ethnic disparities.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that cause the occurrence of fraud in PD BPR Bank Dearah X which is one of the regional owned enterprises of Local Government X and identify the steps ways of fraud prevention which is effective in PD BPR Bank Daerah X. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study. This study uses the primary data and secondary data. This research uses many data collection techniques by conducting an interview, an observation and a documentation. The results show that the factors that cause the occurrence of fraud in PD BPR Bank Daerah X can be classified into four, namely: (1) the pressure that comes from the external and internal influence, (2) an opportunity or a chance due to the weakness of internal control systems owned by BPR , sanctions are not strict enough for the wrongdoers of fraud, and misuse of authority committed by directors, (3) rationalization, and (4) collusion. The ways of fraud prevention which are done by the management of PD BPR Bank Daerah X and based on the results of interviews conducted by the researchers, can be identified as follows: (1) An improvement of the internal control system in PD BPR Bank Daerah X, (2) An implementation of policy of know your employee (KYE) as an effort of fraud prevention by controlling the aspects of human resources (HR); (3) A creation of a special line of fraud reporting policy;and (4) An establishment of policies and sanction procedures. The purpose of this study was to identify and obtain information regarding the strengths and weaknesses of the concept of working from home during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses an exploratory case study method and its research approach uses a qualitative method used to obtain information on the strengths and weaknesses of the concept of working from home during the Covid-19 pandemic. In this study the number of respondents used was 10 employees of state-owned enterprises (BUMN) in the Denpasar area. For purposes of confidentiality, respondents are given the initials K1 through K10 with semi-structured interview techniques and a list of questions compiled and developed based on the related literature. The results of this study are the concept of work from home provides advantages and disadvantages for employees. The advantage referred to is that employees can save on transportation costs so that this is used to divert transportation expenses to meet household needs and to prevent the spread of Covid-19. While the lack of work from home in this case both in terms of internet costs, home atmosphere distruction and decreased levels of employee motivation in completing work.

Purpose This paper aims to describe how the technology forecast process occurs at a technology-based company named Daiken, a Brazilian electronics industry, located in the state of Parana. The study helps to clarify the context that tech-companies in Brazil face when trying to forecast new technologies. Design/methodology/approach The paper opted for a case study, in a qualitative and descriptive approach. Primary data were collected through a semi-structured interview and non-participant observation. Secondary data were generated through documentary research. Findings Outcomes indicate that, for the studied case, technology forecast practices are adopted in an informal and unsystematic way, best aligned to the nature of competitive intelligence. Research limitations/implications Because of the chosen research approach, the results may lack generalizability. Therefore, researchers are encouraged to test the propositions further. Practical implications The paper includes implications for the adjustment of technology forecast tools to the reality seen in emergent nations like Brazil. Originality/value This paper fulfills an identified need to study how to conduct the technology forecast processes in small and mid-tech-companies in Brazil.

This study aims to identify the motivation of honorary teachers who teach and also the reason they have survived to date at SMK Negeri 1 Lamongan. This study uses a qualitative research approach with a case study method. Infoman in this research amounted to six people, the types and sources of data used included primary data. Data retrieval techniques use interviews. The data analysis technique uses 3 stages that is, data reduction, data display (data presentation), and conclusion drawing / verification. The results of this study can be concluded that the work motivation of the internal motivational honorary teacher is the desire to gain recognition. External motivation is good environmental conditions, good supervision, and flexible regulations. The reasons that make honorary teachers survive teaching for tens of years are needs, home distance factors, age factors, and also work environment factors.
