The aim of this research is to analyze surah Al-Azhab verse 21 which contains of exemplary method. The exemplary method related to character building of children. The background of research is the lack of models or figures in exemplary, by the result children having exemplary crisis.This research is library research, by using tafsir approach. The primer source of the research is tafsir Asy-Sya’rawi with the interpretation of Muhammad Mutawalli ash-Sha'rawi and also Tafseer Al- Mishbah by Muhammad Quraish Shihab.The research result showed that exemplary method is effectively enough to shape children characters. Parents and teachers should be giving proper example due to children have imitating nature. Parents and teacher need to have traits such as Prophet Muhammad as contained in surah Al-Azhab verse 21

The study aims to find out whether psychological content is presented in Islamic education textbooks or not. The method used was library research. The data collection technique used was by reviewing the document and descriptive analysis. The textbooks studied were: first, Islamic Religious Education and Character student textbook of Class 10 by Kemendikbud RI in 2017, second, the book entitled “Spirituality, Values and Mental Health: Jewels for the Journey” edited by Mary Ellen Coyte, Peter Gilbert, and Vicky Nicholls. The research result shows that there is not psychological content within the books. While according to the researcher, psychological content is very important to enrich Islamic Education learning material as a means to instil religious awareness related to spiritual values, such as good personality both personally and socially as the initial and final objective in the Islamic Religious Education learning process. The research result is expected to influence Muslims with individual and social piety by eliminating the self-righteousness attitude that often creates inter-faith and internal Muslim bullying as well as eradicating the assumption that Muslims are intolerant and not humanist as part of the indications of the achieved character building.

This study tries to unravel the problems of street children related to character building, especially in the aspects of personal and social skills. So we need a model of character education that is considered suitable to be implemented in street children. This study uses a qualitative approach with library research methods. The results of this study conclude that, Among the character education models that can be implemented on street children are problem-based learning models, emphasizing more on the application of problem solving methods or problem solving which by John Dewey consists of six learning steps as follows: 1) formulating problems; 2) analyze the problem; 3) formulate hypotheses; 4) collect data; 5) hypothesis testing; and 6) formulate problem solving recommendations.

There is no doubt that having good characters is essential to everyone in society. Character is even a major consideration in the world of education. For this reason, character building is considered important to be explored. By using entertainment media such as movie, this library research concentrates on the character building symbolized through the American animation films Frozen (2013) and Frozen II (2019). Besides the main data from the films, reference sources in the form of books and journals were also used for analysis. Hall’s theory of representation was applied to analyze the data gathered for this study such as dialogs and the description of scenes from the films to identify how the character building is represented through the films as well as to understand the essence of character building. The result showed that the animation films observed in this study can represent good characters through seven values such as bravery, politeness, sacrifice, empathy, curiosity, confidence, and caring. Additionally, this study also reveals that the concept of character is associated with life values, morality and attitude and therefore, character building is significant to shape people with quality in order to create peace and harmony in society. Through this study, it expected that the findings can contribute to the development of the theory in humanities and education and it can provide better understanding to people about character building through American animated films.

The existence of formal schools under Pesantren (traditional Islamic education) foundation is interesting, because they have unique characters comparing to other schools in general, whereas each Pesantren has its own peculiarity. One of them is Senior High School of Selamat Modern Pesantren, Kendal. This article describes the implementation of Curriculum 2013 in that school based on qualitative research in 2017. The research result indicated that the implementation of Curriculum 2013 established an integrated curriculum from national Curriculum 2013, learning materials from Ministry of Religious affair and unique vision of the modern Selamat Pesantren itself. So there was a combination between the Curriculum 2013, the materials form Ministry of Religious affair which is more Islamic in nature and the programs from boarding system that enrich the student character building and knowledge. Moreover, in this research teachers are central regarding to their position as student’s facilitator and companion, particularly those who actively accompany the dormitory activities. Abstrak Keberadaan sekolah-sekolah formal di bawah naungan yayasan pesantren menarik untuk dikaji, karena pasti memiliki kekhasan tersendiri dibanding sekolahsekolah lain pada umumnya. Terlebih tiap pesantren memiliki kekhasan masingmasing. Salah satu modelnya adalah di Sekolah Menengah Atas Pondok Modern Selamat, Kendal. Artikel ini menggambarkan implementasi Kurikulum 2013 di sekolah tersebut didasarkan pada penelitian berpendekatan kualitatif yang telah dilaksanakan pada 2017. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Kurikulum 2013 di SMA Unggulan Pondok Modern Selamat, Kendal, menunjukkan karakteristik unik berupa kurikulum yang terpadu antara kurikulum nasional, muatan materi dari Kementerian Agama (Kemenag), dan visi khas dari yayasan pondok pesantren Selamat. Dengan demikian terdapat kombinasi antara orientasi Kurikulum 2013 yang bersifat umum, materi dari Kemenag yang berorientasi memberi bekal ilmu-ilmu keislaman, dan ditunjang oleh program di asrama yang memperkaya pembentukan karakter siswa dan pengayaan penguasaan pengetahuan siswa. Lebih lanjut, guru perannya sangat sentral dalam implementasi kurikulum yang terpadu di sekolah ini karena diposisikan sebagai pendamping siswa, terutama guru-guru yang juga aktif mendampingi kegiatan asrama. This research is aimed to analyse legal consequences of port enterprise regarding claim over negligence in loading and uploading services to expeditor to investigate how the responsibility is performed by PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia IV regarding the claim over negligence in loading and uploading services to the expeditor and what measures are taken by the port enterprise to settle the dispute. This is an empirical legal research that employed socio-juridical approach. Primary data was obtained by conducting interviews and observation, while the secondary data from library research that relevantly supports the issue observed. All those types of data will be analysed with descriptive and qualitative methods. The research result reveals that the implementation of the responsibility of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia IV is restricted by law. As implied in Article 468 Paragraph (2), if the port enterprise could provide proof of being not guilty, in which the goods are damaged when shipped or forwarding, this damage is not the responsibility of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia IV. The claim can be responded through non-litigation process in which negotiation may take place between two involved parties.

The objectives of this research were to find out the intrinsic elements and the moral values in Totto Chan: the Little Girl at the Window novel. This research employed descriptive qualitative as the method. The data were collected by using library research. Intrinsic elements involved theme, character and characterization, plot, setting and point of view. Moral values in this novel were honesty, willingness to take responsibilities, independence and humility. Research result showed that the education was applied well in Tomoe Gakuen. Tomoe Gakuen was the real form of a wanted dream school. Mr. Kobayashi asthe headmaster managed to create his dream school in Japan, even in the World War II period.

This study discusses the role of parents in character education for young women according to Islam. This research library research. The main and first character education for children is the family environment. Education in the family is very important and is the main pillar of character building for a child. The family as the smallest social unit is the most important educational environment and is responsible for educating their children. The education provided by parents should provide a basis for children's education regarding the socialization process and their life in society. Good parenting styles will have a good impact on children's development as well as should. The success of character building in children is influenced by the role of parents in educating children. Parents play an important role in forming an intimate and long-lasting interaction system characterized by personal loyalty, love, and affectionate relationships

Children and education are two related elements to each other. Both the central and local governments have also issued policies that govern the education of children. But in fact, education for the street children has been still faced with some obstacles during the implementation. This research was conducted in Padang Municipality. This research was the result of the field studies to describe and analyze how was the effort of the fulfillment of the education rights of the street children in Padang Municipality. The research was conducted using qualitative research method where data collection techniques by interviews with several related stakeholders to this policy, observed the phenomena that have related to the policy, and do library research from any references such as the government's document and scientific research and tested with by triangulation sources techniques. The research result shows that there are some difficulties during the fulfillment of street children's education to implement by the few stakeholders. In addition, the incapability of these polices to provided clarity to each process of the policy implementation so that the output of the policy has not been able to be reached to the maximum
