BackgroundImmunotherapy, especially checkpoint inhibitors targeting PD-1 or PD-L1, has revolutionized cancer therapy. However, PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors have not been investigated thoroughly in glioblastoma (GBM). Studies have shown that polymerase 1 and transcript release factor (PTRF/Cavin-1) has an immune-suppressive function in GBM. Thus, the relationship between PTRF and PD-L1 and their role in immune suppression requires further investigation in GBM.MethodsWe used public databases and bioinformatics analysis to investigate the relationship between PTRF and PD-L1. We next confirmed the predicted relationship between PTRF and PD-L1 in primary GBM cell lines by using different experimental approaches. RIP-Seq, RIP, ChIP, and qRT-PCR were conducted to explore the molecular mechanism of PTRF in immunosuppression.ResultsWe found that PTRF stabilizes lncRNA NEAT1 to induce NF-κB and PD-L1 and promotes immune evasion in GBM. PTRF was found to correlate with immunosuppression in the public GBM databases. PTRF increased the level of PD-L1 in primary cell lines from GBM patients. We carried out RIP-Seq of GBM cells and found that PTRF interacts with lncRNA NEAT1 and stabilizes its mRNA. PTRF also promoted the activity of NF-κB by suppressing UBXN1 expression via NEAT1 and enhanced the transcription of PD-L1 through NF-κB activation. Finally, PTRF promoted immune evasion in GBM cells by regulating PD-1 binding and PD-L1 mediated T cell cytotoxicity.ConclusionsIn summary, our study identified the PTRF-NEAT1-PD-L1 axis as a novel immune therapeutic target in GBM.

Abstract Aims: Long noncoding RNA have been proved as important regulator in various diseases. NRON was a newly identified tumor-related lncRNA, and previous studies have reported its function in hepatocellular carcinoma and heart failure. However, the function and mechanism of lncRNA NRON in osteosarcoma still unknown. Methods: Cell proliferation, invasion, migration and apoptosis were detected via CCK-8, transwell assay and Western. Bioinformatics analysis was used to predict the potential target of NRON. Rescue experiment was performed to identify the relationship between NRON and MVB12B. Results: The expression of lncRNA NRON was significantly downregulate in osteosarcoma tissues and cell lines. Knockdown of NRON promoted cell proliferation, invasion and EMT. Overexpression of NRON inhibited cell proliferation, invasion and EMT. Bioinformatics analysis predicted that MVB12B was the direct target. The expression of MVB12B was significantly upregulated in osteosarcoma tissues and cell lines. Rescue experiment further confirmed the relationship between NRON and MVB12B. Overexpression of MVB12B completely reversed the function of NRON. Conclusion: Taken together, our results comprehensively analyzed the function of NRON in osteosarcoma and provided possible mechanism that NRON inhibited osteosarcoma development by regulating MVB12B. Thus, our study may offer a potential therapeutic target for treating osteosarcoma.

This paper maps the basic opposition groups that influenced the Egyptian political system in the last years of Hosni Mubarak’s rule. It approaches the nature of the relationship between the system and the opposition through use of the concept of “semi-opposition.” An examination and evaluation of the opposition groups shows the extent to which the regime—in order to appear that it was opening the public sphere to the opposition—had channels of communication with the Muslim Brotherhood. The paper also shows the system’s relations with other groups, such as “Kifaya” and “April 6”; it then explains the reasons behind the success of the Muslim Brotherhood at seizing power after the ousting of President Mubarak.

This study is based on the legal responsibility of the assessment of public appraisal reports they make in land procurement activities for development in the public interest. Public assessment is obliged to always be accountable for their assessment. The type of research found in this thesis is a type of normative legal research with the right-hand of the statue approach and case approach. Normative legal research is a study that provides systematic explanation of rules governing a certain legal category, analyzing the relationship between regulations explaining areas of difficulty and possibly predicting future development. . After conducting research, researchers found that one of the causes that made the dispute was a lack of communication conducted between the Government and the landlord. In deliberation which should be the place where the parties find the meeting point between the parties on the magnitude of the damages that will be given, in the field is often used only for the delivery of the assessment of the compensation that has been done.

Today in Germany, religion and the churches forfeit their sovereignty of interpretation and ritual concerning death and dying. The funeral director is the first point of contact when death occurs. Therefore he or she is able to influence the relationship between the living and the dead. In the course of this development, the dead body, often referred to as dirty and dangerous, is being sanitized by funeral directors. Funeral directors credit the dead body with a certain quality; they claim that facing the dead may lead to religious or spiritual experiences, and therefore they encourage the public viewing of the dead – a practice which was, and still is not very common in Germany. The new connotation of the dead body is an example for the dislimitation of religion in modern society. The religious framing of death-related practises no longer exclusively belongs to traditional religious institutions and actors, but can take place in commercial business companies as well.

According to Abdulaziz Sachedina, the main argument of religious pluralism in the Qur’an based on the relationship between private belief (personal) and public projection of Islam in society. By regarding to private faith, the Qur’an being noninterventionist (for example, all forms of human authority should not be disturb the inner beliefs of individuals). While the public projection of faith, the Qur’an attitude based on the principle of coexistence. There is the willingness of the dominant race provide the freedom for people of other faiths with their own rules. Rules could shape how to run their affairs and to live side by side with the Muslims. Thus, based on the principle that the people of Indonesia are Muslim majority, it should be a mirror of a societie’s recognizion, respects and execution of religious pluralism. Abdul Aziz Sachedina called for Muslims to rediscover the moral concerns of public Islam in peace. The call for peace seemed to indicate that the existence of increasingly weakened in the religious sense of the Muslims and hence need to be reaffi rmed. Sachedina also like to emphasize that the position of peace in Islam is parallel with a variety of other doctrines, such as: prayer, fasting, pilgrimage and so on. Sachedina also tried to show the argument that the common view among religious groups is only one religion and traditions of other false and worthless. “Antipluralist” argument comes amid the reality of human religious differences. In the implementation of promotions in order to increase sales volume at the Pangkat - Kediri tile company, an analysis result of 6.00 was obtained which states that the relationship between promotion and sales volume is strong. Because promotion is one of the determining factors for the success of every company in producing to selling their products to consumers.Because the promotion includes many things starting from product strategy to product marketing / sales. However, companies certainly cannot only focus on promotional activities, because the four elements of marketing strategy (price, promotion, distribution and production) cannot be separated. So companies should be able to combine marketing strategies appropriately, so that the company is able to achieve the desired targets, namely achieving maximum profit. In order to introduce its company products to the public with advertising media is very important. Because with this advertising effort, society knows advantages that accompanied these products, so that the company's expectations for sales to increase will be even greater and its profits will also increase. Keywords:Promotion, sale, Marketing strategy and profit.

<?page nr="1"?>Abstract This article investigates the ways in which service-learning manifests within our neoliberal clime, suggesting that service-learning amounts to a foil for neoliberalism, allowing neoliberal political and economic changes while masking their damaging effects. Neoliberalism shifts the relationship between the public and the private, structures higher education, and promotes a façade of community-based university partnerships while facilitating a pervasive regime of control. This article demonstrates that service-learning amounts to an enigma of neoliberalism, making possible the privatization of the public and the individualizing of social problems while masking evidence of market-based societal control. Neoliberal service-learning distances service from teaching and learning, allows market forces to shape university-community partnerships, and privatizes the public through dispossession by accumulation.
