Online learning is carried out in all higher education after the COVID-19 pandemic. The online learning causes forced online learning preparation. The research aimed to measure student attitudes about online learning, student readiness to learn online, and the influence of student attitudes about online learning on student readiness to learn online.  The research method was descriptive quantitative and the sample was chosen by simple random sampling. The data were obtained from 311 students of the hospitality management diploma 4 of academic year 2017 to 2020 at one of the tourism school in Indonesia who had to carry out online learning. The collected data were tested using validity and reliability test, descriptive test (frequency and mean),  correlation, simple linear regression test and t-test. The result of the mean test showed that students do not like online learning even though they have a perception of readiness to learn online. This result contradicted the results of the simple linear regression test and t-test which concluded that students 'attitudes of online learning positively and significantly affected students' readiness to learn online. The study implication that it is necessary to create efforts to change the attitude of being less accepting of online learning activities into an attitude of accepting online learning for students.

This study aims to determine the effect of career development on the Retention of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in the Kerinci Regency Regional Secretariat, while the population and sample in this study were 68 employees. The analytical tool used in this study is a simple linear regression by conducting a regression test, the results of this study indicate that Career Development has a significant influence on the Retention of State Civil Apparatus. This is evidenced by the results of t-test where tcount> ttable (17,992> 1,677), while the amount of Career Development that is proven by Rsquare is 0.831 or (83.1%), while the remaining 16.9 %% is influenced by other variables

This research aims to know and analyze the effect of application of control valve Cooler 1 Based On atmega 2560 microcontroller for Moisture feed after mixing with bagging off at PT. JAPFA comfeed Indonesia, Tbk. Unit Padang. The type of research used is the study of surveys with the analysis of data used i.e. simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the study, testing of normality obtained the significance value of 0.200 with normal categories and R square test results worth 29.4%. The results of simple linear regression test partially with T test, Mempertlihatkan that the application of the control valve Cooler 1-Base atmega 2560 microcontroller system significantly affects the after-mixing Moisture feed with bagging off. The interpretation is that each temperature reduction of the resulting control valve cooler 1 Microcontroller-Based atmega 2560 in one unit affects the difference of moisture feed after mixing with a bagging off of 2.425.

This type of research is classified into quantitative descriptive research with causative associative methods.1The population in this study were all employees who worked at Imelda Hotel-Waterpark-Convention Padang as many as 72 people using saturated sampling techniques. Data collection techniques usingma questionnaire with a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed through description analysis and simple linear regression test and coefficient of determination with the help of SPSS Computer Program version 16.00. The results of the study show that: Work Facilities in the category of Good have a percentage of 51.39% and Satisfaction of employees with the category of Good has a percentage of 86.11%. Furthermore, the R Square value is 0.094 with the level of sig. 0.009 <0.05, the Work Facility variabledcan explain the variable Employee Satisfaction of 9.4% and 90.6% influenced by other factors.

Employee performance basically has a big influence on the company's contribution in terms of the quality of service provided to consumers. Employee performance is one of the main assets that must be owned by the company, especially the hotel business where the aim is to measure customer satisfaction. Quality performance will create comfort and satisfaction for consumers. But the fact is that often the problem in the field is the opposite. This study aims to analyze the influence of employee performance on customer satisfaction at Hotel Setia Puruk Cahu Murung Raya. The type and research approach used is quantitative research, with data collection techniques through: Observation, Interview, and Questionnaire/Questionnaire. Data analysis techniques: Simple Linear Regression Test, Hypothesis Test (t test) and Determination Test (R Square test). From the results of the analysis that the researchers did, it can be concluded that the variable "Employee Performance (Y) has a positive influence on the variable "Consumer Satisfaction" (X) where in a simple linear regression test it is found that every additional unit of Employee Performance Variable will increase satisfaction. Consumers are 0.441 or 44.1%, and the t test shows that the influence of employee performance on customer satisfaction at Hotel Setia Puruk Cahu Murung Raya is very significant where the significant value is 0.001 which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, then the influence of employee performance is also classified as high on consumer satisfaction, which is equal to 0.614 or 61.4%.

This study aims to examine the empathy in aggressors at the detention centre class two of Kendari. This quantitative study obtained data using a questionnaire referring to the Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI) scale. The close-ended questionnaire is used to measure the aggressors’ empathy and aggressive behaviour against the committed crimes. The obtained data were analysed in two ways, descriptive and inferential analysis. The data were tested using Anova for a simple linear regression test to examine whether empathy in aggressors affects their aggressive behaviour, followed by a t-test to investigate whether the empathy level is developed when committing certain crimes. The result of the study indicates that the empathy and behaviour of the aggressors have a significant correlation. In this line, most of the aggressors at the detention centre class II of Kendari have strong empathy when they are committing a crime. Besides, the aggressors tend to respond against empathy negatively.

During the pandemic, children aged 5-6 years need time to learn from home so that cognitive abilities during the pandemic experience obstacles. Family motivation has an important role in empowering children's cognitive abilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of family motivation on the cognitive abilities of children aged 5-6 years during the pandemic. The research method used is quantitative. The research subjects found 60 children consisting and 60 parents of: grades B1, B2, B3, B4 at the Putera Bhineka Institute. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The validity and reliability test showed that all the item instruments used were valid and reliable. Data analysis using SPSS 22.0 with simple linear regression test based on hypothesis testing. The results showed that there was no significant effect of motivation on children's cognitive abilities during the pandemic aged 5-6 years. The results of calculations with simple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing can be said that tcount is 1.311 and a significance value is 0.195. The significant value is 0.195 > 0.05 or seen in the tcount of 1.311 < ttable 2.001. These results can be influenced by environmental factors in the community and the school environment. The findings of this study contribute that during the pandemic, children's cognitive abilities are not influenced by family motivation, but rather by environmental and other factors.
