Background. Topicality of the theme. With the advent of the Internet, Internet journalism has appeared. In relating to theater, in essence, it is theatrical criticism, which has only undergone major changes. In recent years, there have been lively discussions in professional circles about the state and prospects of theater criticism as a profession, about the nature of theater criticism, its self-identification in the modern information space. Round tables with the participation of leading theater critics are devoted to the issues of the current state of theater criticism, a number of relevant materials have been published in specialized publications, often with indicative headings: “Who needs theater critics?” [1], “Theater criticism: final or transformation?” [9]; interviews of theater critics, in which they uphold the positions of the profession and, at the same time, speak about urgent problems and the need to update it taking into account rapidly changing realities: with S. Vasilyev [2], N. Pivovarova [5], Ya. Partola [6]; discussion articles on the status and prospects of the profession by M. Harbuziuk [3], M. Dmitrevskaya [4], N. Pesochinsky [7], I. Chuzhynova [10], S. Schagina, E. Strogaleva, E. Gorokhovskaya [11]. Thus, there are several points of view on this topic: that theatrical journalism has replaced theatrical criticism; that theatrical critics of the old school did not have time to adapt to the changing world and use new tools in this profession, and young critics just occupy their niches in the youth media and on the Internet; that the profession of a critic does not go beyond the framework of participation in expert councils, jury membership, attendance at theater festivals, and writing reviews on request. The question, however, is still open. The main goal of this article is to determine the degree and main character of the interaction of journalism and theatrical criticism in modern media. Results of the study. Those who are seriously engaged in theater studies and academic theater criticism feel the need for specialized publications, the number of which in Ukraine is reduced to a minimum. Therefore, those who had the opportunity to publish reviews in the socio-political periodicals, have to combine three professional areas in one, becoming a theater journalist. Academically trained theater critics can write and often write good books, but, as a rule, do not know how to write for newspapers and magazines. But graduates of journalistic departments who write about the theater are not familiar with professional terminology, which is able to give a correct assessment of the premiere performance. The question arises: how to combine those and these, that the theater journalism was both fascinating and acute, and moderately scandalous, but at the same time accurate and high-quality? To grow such specialists is a matter of work, there can be no conveyor system here. Modern theater criticism, gradually becoming obsolete, rather survives from the common theatrical space. The theater critic cannot be a free artist, and live on the money from the results of his work, because in non-capital cities the number of journals in which the theater specialist would have had time to publish his works has decreased by several times. In cities such as Poltava, Sumy, Chernigov, the issues relating to theatrical premieres are not covered by critics (they are simply not there), but by journalists who write on various topics and rarely specialize in one. The substitution of theatrical critique by journalism is quite natural, for example, for cities where there is no professional training of theater critics, however in Kiev, Kharkiv and Lviv theater studies continue, and a certain number of graduates hope for the viability of this profession. Theatrical criticism and theatrical journalism are in their own way demanded in certain circles. Criticism is closer to theaters, journalism – to the audience. It is difficult to debate with this statement that new epoch came with the Internet. Now, the spoken word has a completely different value. For example, а word thrown on Facebook can have the same effect on public opinion as a big, built, hard fought text. This does not mean that you do not need to write large texts and publish them on paper. You just need to understand and accept the new reality, its advantages and disadvantages, its danger and its benefits. It is a very important problem of our consciousness and the problem of our theater. The Internet has given a new push to the development of new type of media-translations, actively working in social networks. Sites appear on the network where online remote screenings of performances are held. They provide Internet audiences with the opportunity to be acquainted with the history of national and world theater art; they are introduced to modern avant-garde performances. Of course, this also brings the theater closer to a wide, as a rule, young audience and opens up new opportunities for a different kind of theater journalism. Сonclusions. Thus, the Internet becomes an active means of influencing the minds in the modern media space. The Internet influences everyone and everything, changing attitudes towards theatrical art, as well as contemporary theater criticism and theater journalism. However in this case, it is essential to remember that not the Internet, but only professional theater criticism that has been and remains the breeding ground for the scientific work of theater critics and art historians, while creating the history of dramatic, opera and ballet theater.

The article considers the problem of functioning in the language of the media of the Russian explanatory structure. The study is based on the results of studying explanatory sentences in Russian syntactic science, which is reflected in the article as a brief history of their study. The study is based on observations of explanatory constructions in the language of various modern media presented on the Internet. As a starting point, it is argued that in order to solve a problem in a media text, it is necessary to distinguish between the text itself and the paratext, as well as the author’s beginning of the text. The study revealed that the explanatory structure acts as the headings of news texts, subheadings of author columns and interview leads. At the same time, news texts found a special type of speech news, the heading of which is an explanatory structure, and the author’s beginning is mainly verbs of speech. The most significant grammatical result is that the media language not only uses the entire repertoire of explanatory constructions known to the literary language, but also forms a number of spe cial constructions based on the reduction of various elements of the modus proposition and even its whole: these are constructions with a omitted modus predicate of the type “Author about the problem”, “author: replica”, as well as a predicative deliberation with interrogative pronouns like who, where, why, what, it is increasingly used as a heading in a number of pub lications. All these reduced constructions meet the conditions of media communication and genre differentiation of media texts. In addition, it has been shown that important textual and grammatical characteristics of the media text are set in the paratext.

The expediency of using practice oriented technologies in training teachers, the potential of case technologies as a type of interactive educational technologies for solving problems of forming professional knowledge and skills of students of teaching specialties, and sources of cases (primary, secondary) have been characterized in the article. The essence and the main types of pedagogical cases appropriate to be used in the process of professional training of future teachers have been elucidated. The authors have presented the peculiarities of implementing testing as one of the types of students’ academic performance. Modern approaches to the use of case technologies in the process of assessment of the professional competence of specialists in different fields have been characterized. The practicability of using case testing as a tool to monitor the knowledge of future teachers in the process of general training has been substantiated. The primary sources for the preparation of teachers’ training case tests (a teaching situation, a piece of a scientific or fiction text, statistical materials, etc.) have been determined. The examples of case tests used in the process of studying pedagogical disciplines for 2nd and 3rd year students in the context of the modules «Pedagogy», «History of Pedagogy» and «Fundamentals of Pedagogical Excellence» have been given. The advantages and disadvantages of using case testing have been analysed in comparison with traditional testing used to determine the level and quality of general training of future teachers.

The new reality caused by the coronavirus pandemic opens up the possibility of updating the content of professional training of socially mobile educators by means of health-saving and information-communication technologies. The purpose of the study is to analyse the features of the use of health and IC-technologies in the process of forming a socially mobile teacher in a pandemic. The research methodology includes theoretical analysis and generalisation of psychological and pedagogical sources, elaboration of legal documents in the field of education, study and generalisation of experience of scientific and pedagogical workers, disclosure of basic theoretical provisions, identification and substantiation of key concepts. The authors present a detailed analysis of the concepts of “health”, “health-saving technologies”, “information and communication technologies”, “social mobility”. The purpose and tasks of health-saving and IC-technologies are clarified. Ways to implement and use health-saving technologies in educational institutions during the pandemic COVID-19 have been identified. Methods of application of information and communication technologies in the conditions of distance learning are offered. A number of advantages and disadvantages of ICT in education are identified. The guidelines of successful realisation of a socially mobile teacher in the modern educational reality are determined. It has been found that social mobility as an integrative ability of an individual to adapt to the changing environment and changes dictated by society is perhaps the most important and relevant feature in our time. It is determined that the readiness to implement, combine and use in professional pedagogical activities of health-saving and IC-technologies indicates the formation of social mobility of the teacher. The experience of using health-saving and information-communication technologies by scientific and pedagogical workers of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in the process of becoming and formation of socially mobile educators in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic is described. The practical value of scientific work lies in the substantiation and generalisation of pedagogical conditions for updating the content of professional training of future teachers through the prism of their ability to social mobility

The article is devoted to the history of the formation of journalistic style. The text of the media in its existence is always associated with the coordinates of social space-time, which determine the time and place of its publication. Publicist texts currently operate in the communicative environment of the media and the Internet. It is customary to talk about the communicative environment of modern media. In addition to journalistic speech in the communicative environment, the media also functions with other types of utilitarian speech: advertising, public relations, and government relations. Journalistic style in its modern sense arises when journalism and utilitarianism are distinctly combined in one text. This claim requires confirmation on the basis of linguistic materials of Russian newspapers and journals of the eighteenth-twentieth centuries. The article analyzes the publications of Thaddeus Bulgarin’s newspaper “Northern Bee” — one of the most influential newspapers of the midnineteenth century. The newspaper did much to ensure that society in the twentieth century received influential printed media speech as one of the most significant achievements in the speech practice of society. Bulgarin anticipated the appearance of publications based on the speech concept of colloquialism. In the publications of “Northern Bee”, the beginning of the transition from syntagmatic prose to actualized, which only a few decades later began to appear in fiction, is well visible.

The article considers a problem of digital exhibitions at museum website. Their popularity was growing along with application of new techniques and became an essential part of museum practice. The article provides the merits of such projects. The author analyzes the degree of importance of the response of an interested visitor to the exhibition on the site. Information held in family archives helps to date and describe museum items. The author characterizes the amount of scientific work on the exhibits carried out by the staff, the main problems identified in the process. The article contains a fragment of the informational block of the exhibition dedicated to the sisters of mercy (history of the Tobolsk Nikolaevskaya community, its employees and activities). The author describes the informant’s assistance in identifying one of the community sisters, depicted in the photographs from the museum’s funds. A visitor to the site had a copy of one of the photographs with signatures, which helped to establish the truth. The article concludes that the availability of the Internet made it possible to accurately describe the exhibit, which makes the value of virtual exhibitions obvious. Abstract The growing number of foreign applicants looking forward to getting education in Ukrainian medical universities makes us find the ways how to improve and make effective the pre-professional training system of foreign medical applicants for further education. The article deals with the issues of the history of formation and development of the preprofessional training system of foreign medical applicants in Ukraine. On the ground of the electronic databases of the official websites of higher educational establishments, the data on years of opening first offices of the dean, departments and preparatory faculties for foreign medical applicants in Ukrainian medical universities are analyzed and systematized. Also the data on the setting up preparatory faculties at other universities who carry out licensed training of foreign students of the medical profile are presented. The data on the operating and management of such institutions in the system of the University administration are generalized. It’s revealed that during the years of its functioning the pre-professional training has changed, in particular the system was commercialized and the institutions involved in training foreign applicants have been reorganized. The modern trends in teaching foreign medical students at the preparatory faculties of the Ukrainian medical universities are displayed. Based on the analysis of the data it is concluded that the system of the pre-professional training of foreign medical applicants was set up in the 50s-60s years of the twentieth century. During this time, some positive experience in the preparation of future international medical specialists has been gained. The system of the pre-professional training of foreign medical applicants has been comprehensively improved and an effective system of managing foreign medical applicants has been created.

In the information society the status of information is changing: this main value of global civilization becomes an important resource of socio- economic, technological and cultural development. The rapid development of virtual technologies and the growing number of Internet users in Ukraine and in the world causes the new challenges to communication of each organization. The book publishers are also obliged to respond to these processes. However, the works devoted directly to publishers’ communication in the modern media space are still lacking in Ukraine. The objective of the article is to clarify peculiarities and conditions of the activities of Ukrainian book publishers in today’s media space which is an important issue today. It is analyzed the literature and sources on this issue and it is ascertained the theoretical and practical possibilities to take into account the trends in the world of modern media in the PR-activity of book publishers. Also the prospects for further scientific study and practical use of PR-communications in the activity of publishers are determined. The analysis of current changes in the modern information space allows us to trace the general tendencies: the new subject and object areas are formed; the number of subjects is expanded; the new formats of interaction within the system of communications of the organization and in society as a whole are created. That means that publishing house’s PR-communications are complicated by the emergence of new elements, such as active audience, social networks as communication channels, promotions on the Internet and others. PR communication in the Internet space is the most effective and inexpensive tool for interaction of publishers with active audiences. Thus, the activation of PR communication in the modern media space is associated with the emergence of the latest information technologies, online media as well as development of Internet. The use of online channels of Internet for communication with the target audience of publishing organizations has certain advantages over traditional media. At the same time, it is necessary to take into account the information saturation of media space, which complicates the way of PR-messages of book publishers to the reader.

В Україні у першій пол. 1920-х рр. мав місце спонтанний вихід багатьох нових видань, для яких характерна несистематична поява, короткотривалість існування та нечітка редакційна політика. На відміну від політизованої преси ІІ пол. 1920-х рр. періодика І пол. 1920-х рр. не завжди відповідала ідеологічним настановам влади. Це обумовлено ситуацією у країні, невпорядкованою системою друку та, відповідно, відносною свободою слова. Зосереджено увагу на зміні мистецьких орієнтирів, вагомості та професійному стані театральної критики ІІ пол. 1920-х рр. у порівнянні з попереднім періодом. Адже саме тоді відбувається активізація представників різних поколінь театральних критиків. Ключові слова: театральна критика, 1920 роки, суспільно-політичні реалії, періодичні видання. The objectives of the article are to study the patterns of the theatrical criticism development against the turbulent cultural and artistic process and the complex of socio-political realities of the 1920 s. In Ukraine in the 1st half of the 1920 s there was a spontaneous output of many new publications, which are characterized by a non-systematic appearance, short-term existence and a rather fuzzy editorial policy in Ukraine in the first half of the 1920 s. Unlike the politicized press of the 2 nd half of 1920 s, periodicals of the 1st half of the 1920 s not always corresponded to the ideological attitudes of the authorities. This was due to the situation in the country, the disorderly system of the press and, accordingly, the relative freedom of speech. The article also focuses on the changing of artistic guidelines, the weight and professional status of theater criticism of the 2 nd half of 1920 s, compared with the previous period. It is at this time that the representatives of different generations of theater critics become more active. Key words: theater criticism, 1920-s, socio-political realities, periodicals.

Our understanding of science itself as a body of knowledge and as asystem of analysis and research has changed over the last decades, just asover the last two centuries, or especially after the age of Enlightement inEurope, science has become more powerful, more sophisticated and complex.It is rather difficult to determine where science ends and where technologybegins. In fact there is a gmwing awareness that the physical or nam sciences,as a means of studying and understanding nature, are relying on the more“humanistic“ and cultural approaches adopted by the social sciences or thehumanities. The tradition of natural science is being challenged by newdiscoveries of the non-physical and non-natural sciences which go beyondthe physical world.Certainly research is vital for the growth and development of all sciencesthat attempt to discover and understand the “secrets” of nature. The validityof any scientific theory depends on its research and methodological premisesand even that-its proposition or theories (in the words of a leading cosmologistand theoretical physicist, Stephen Hawking) -is tentative. Hawlung says: “Anyphysical theory is always provisional, in the sense that it is only a hypothesis:you can never prove it. No matter how many times the results of experimentsagree with some theory, you can never be sure that the next time the resultwill not contradict the theory. On the other hand, you can disprove a theoryby finding even a single observation that disagrees with the predictions ofthe theory.”The history of Western science is rooted in the idea of finding the ’truth’by objectivity. Nothing can be believed until there is a scientific proof ofits existence, or until it can be logically accepted by the rational mind. Today ethics is embodied not only in day-to-day life, but also in the communication that surrounds it. The study of communication in professional communities makes it possible to determine the relationship between declared and practically embodied values in work. Ethical attitudes are not only postulates embedded in ethical codes, but also principles of interaction embodied in the construction of the information space and decision-making. Features of modern communications influence the way professional ethics is structured, which, in turn, affects its content and practical implementation. The communication through the Internet makes scientific work performative, filling it with symbols and labels. Increasingly, communication practices have to be carried out around indicators, and thus communication becomes a conductor of neoliberal reforms in scientific work. Therefore, the consequence of modern forms of communication is the forced utilitarianism of ethics associated with the need to compete in the “scientific market”. The article suggests possible ways to overcome the contradictions of communicative transformations of professional values.
