Abstrak Madrasah Diniyah sebagai lembaga non-formal yang bergerak dalam menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai keagaman dan membentuk anak didik yang beraklakul karimah, tetap eksis di tengah modernitas. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui pendidikan karakter di Madrasah Diniyah Nurul Musholla dengan metode menghafal syair kitab Aqidatul awam dan efeknya terhadap karakter santri. Penelitin ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif yang mengambil lokasi penelitian di Madrasah Diniyah Awwaliyah Nurul Musholla, Ketapang Barat, Ketapang, Sampang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Pembinaan karakter santri di Madrasah dengan penerapan metode hafalan aqidatul awam memberikan hasil yang efektif. Santri dapat menghafal dengan baik  melalui pembiasan sebelum masuk kelas, proses hafalan dan setoran. Pemantapan akidah dan juga karakter dalam diri santri menjadi efektif. Santri dapat menjawab pertanyaan berkaitan dengan akidah seperti keesaan Tuhan, Nabi terakhir, ataupun keberadaan malaikat berdasarkan dalil teks hafalan aqidatul awam. Santri mampu mengaplikasikan nilai nilai pembelajaran dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.   Kata Kunci : Pendidikan Karakter, Madrasah Diniyah, Metode Hafalan   Abstract Madrasah Diniyah as a non-formal institution engaged in the internalization of religious values and forming a student who is involved in a good morality, still exist amid modernity. The purpose of this research is to know the character education in Madrasah Diniyah Nurul Musholla with the method of memorizing the poem Aqidatul awam and its effect on the character of the students. This study is a type of qualitative research that took a research location at Madrasah Diniyah Awwaliyah Nurul Musholla, Ketapang Barat, Ketapang, Sampang. The data collection techniques in this study use observation, interviews, and documentation. The study showed that fostering the character of students in Madrasah by applying the aqidatul awam memorization method provides effective results. Student’s can memorize well through refraction before entering the class, memorization and memorize deposit. Strengthening the creed and also the character in the students becomes effective. Santri can answer questions related to the creed such as the oneness of God, the last Prophet, or the existence of angels based on the text of the memorization in aqidatul awam. Santri can apply the values ​​of learning in everyday life.   Keywords : Character Education, Madrasah Diniyah, Memorization Method

Karakter merupakan kepribadian yang khas pada diri seseorang yang terbentuk karena pengaruh lingkungan. Dalam gerak, iringan, dan kostum pada tari juga memiliki nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter pada Tari Topeng Getak di Rumah Seni Madhu Ro’om Pamekasan Madura. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan objek penelitian Tari Topeng Getak di Pamekasan, Madura dan nilai-nilai pendidikan yang terkandung di dalamnya. Pengumpulan data didapatkan dari observasi, wawancara dengan beberapa narasumber, studi pustaka, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif yang disajikan dengan teks bersifat naratif. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan tujuh nilai pendidikan karakter pada Tari Topeng Getak di Rumah Seni Madhu Ro’om. Adapun beberapa nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter pada Tari Topeng Getak yaitu (1) religius, (2) disiplin, (3) tanggung jawab, (4) rasa ingin tahu, (5) cinta damai, (6) demokratis, dan (7) cinta tanah air. Penerapan nilai-nilai tersebut dapat membantu peserta didik sebagai motivasi dalam latihan dan selalu diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Character is a distinctive personality in a person who is formed due to environmental influences. In motion, accompaniment, and costumes in dance also have character education values. This study aims to describe the values of character education in the Topeng Getak Dance at the Madhu Ro'om Art House Pamekasan Madura. This research uses qualitative research methods, with the object of research being the Topeng Getak Dance in Pamekasan, Madura and the educational values contained in it. Data collection was obtained from observations, interviews with several sources, literature studies, and documentation. The data analysis using qualitative analysis and is presented with narrative text. The study results obtained seven values of character education in the Topeng Getak Dance at the Madhu Ro'om Art House. The values of character education in Topeng Getak Dance are (1) religious, (2) discipline, (3) responsibility, (4) curiosity, (5) peace-loving, (6) democratic, and (7) love the homeland. Applying these values can help students as motivation in training and are consistently applied in everyday life.

This paper portrays the implementation of character education based on Javanese unggah-ungguh (etiquette) in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Karanganyar, using 24 students from 5th-grade who were mentioned as the alpha generation in 2020. Generally, this generation refers to children born after 2010 in this digital era. The unggah-ungguh is one of the Indonesian ancestral heritages that must be preserved, as though it may originate from Java, it strongly represents the culture of the country’s society. Six (6) characters of Javanese unggah-ungguh were used in this research as indicators, which are tata krama (manners), lembah manah (relent), andhap asor (humility), tepa slira (tolerance), grapyak (friendliness), and ewuh-pekewuh (reluctance). This study was descriptive qualitative research that focused on observing the realization of character education based on this culture, using observation, interview, survey, and documentation as the data collection instruments. As reviewed from the affective theory of Krathwohl Taxonomy, the education character based on Javanese unggah-ungguh has influenced three-component domains of affective attitudes, which are in the level of receiving or attending, responding, and valuing. Lastly, the result showed that implementing character education based on this culture has truly shaped a better personality for students in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Karanganyar as the alpha generation.

This chapter focuses on the qualitative research undertaken through engagement with older respondents within the Fiction and Cultural Mediation of Ageing Project (FCMAP). Through consideration of FCMAP’s underlying methodologies and its data collection drawn from reflective diaries kept by University of the Third Age (U3A) Volunteer Reading Groups (VRGs), responses to a directive issued to existing diarists by the Mass Observation Archive at the University of Sussex with longitudinal analytical comparisons, and transcripts of ‘Ageing Re-imagined’ literary events and associated author interviews, FCMAP mapped the patterns of experience of and attitudinal responses to ageing. This chapter also outlines FCMAP’s development and subsequent data analysis in relation to key elements and outlines FCMAP’s collaboration with researchers from think-tank Demos and its prioritising of policy aspects of the research context, producing a policy report Coming of Age before summarising its overall findings.

An illocutionary act is a speech act that is usually identified by explicit performative sentences. The research on illocutionary acts in vlogs is an action that shows the meaning of speech during communication. This study aims to describe illocutionary acts on Fiersa Besari's vlog YouTube channel Jangan Lupa Senyum Part 1 along with its speech function. The method used in this research is the descriptive method. The form of research used here is qualitative research. The data source in this study is the vlog Jangan Lupa Senyum Part 1 on the Fiersa Besari YouTube channel. The data in this study are transcripts of conversations between characters in vlogs. Data collection techniques in research using the observation method and note-taking techniques. The findings in the research in this vlog were only 15 utterances of illocutionary speech acts. From the 15 utterances, 7 data on assertive illocutionary acts, 2 directive illocutionary acts, and 7 expressive illocutionary acts. From this research, it is expected that we can understand the function of illocutionary acts that are relevant to everyday life

The research is purposed to describe indicates behavioral discipline a student of class XII social class in Madrasah Aliyah SMIP 1946 Banjarmasin is still very low. The research was carried out in Madrasah Aliyah SMIP 1946 Banjarmasin. Methods used in this study was a qualitative methodology, in order that understanding of object subjects will be deep and holistic. Technique data collection in this research done by means of interview, observation, and documentation. Based on the research done known way the implementation of character education through role of teachers in forming behavioral discipline students in a school namely by exemplary good which can be used role model for students, planting religious values, and motivate of students to be more disciplined in at home and outside the classroom and by means of enforcement sanction or punishment for every violation done by students in form points offense that adapted to the level. The cause of students have obey regulation good governance disciplined as often came late school, truant, out at lessons take place, it is native of several factors one of them is from family, environment, and yourselves sons of the own.Keywords : Character Education, Role Of Teachers, Discipline Students Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perilaku disiplin siswa kelas XII IPS di Madrasah Aliyah SMIP 1946 Banjarmasin masih sangat rendah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Madrasah Aliyah SMIP 1946 Banjarmasin, Kalimantan Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif, sehingga dengan demikian pemahaman mengenai objek yang diteliti akan lebih mendalam dan holistik. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui cara implementasi pendidikan karakter melalui peran guru dalam membentuk perilaku disiplin siswa di sekolah yaitu dengan keteladanan yang baik yang dapat dijadikan panutan bagi para siswanya, penanaman nilai-nilai keagamaan, dan memberikan motivasi terhadap siswa untuk lebih berdisiplin baik di dalam maupun di luar kelas serta dengan cara penegakkan sanksi atau hukuman atas setiap pelanggaran yang dilakukan oleh siswa dalam bentuk poin pelanggaran yag disesuaikan dengan tingkat pelanggarannya. Penyebab siswa tidak menaati peraturan tata tertib disiplin seperti sering terlambat masuk sekolah, membolos, keluar pada jam pelajaran berlangsung, hal ini berasal dari beberapa faktor diantaranya dari keluarga, lingkungan, dan diri anak sendiri.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Karakter, Peran Guru, Disiplin Siswa

The background of this research stems from the interest of researchers about the importance of the role of principal leadership in strengthening character education. This study aims to determine the type, role, and implementation of the character education strengthening program at SMAN 1 Yogyakarta. This research is a qualitative research taking place at SMAN 1 Yogyakarta. Methods of data collection are done by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques by transcript, coding, comparing and contrasting. Checking the validity of the data by means of triangulation of sources, triangulation of techniques, and triangulation of time. The results showed that: (1) the type of leadership applied by the principal is a type of democratic leadership where the principal always provides encouragement, motivation and innovation for teachers, employees and students to continue to excel and continue working. (2) The implementation of the character education strengthening program using the habituation and culture methods of 5S (Greetings, Smiles, Greetings, Polite, and Polite) character education strengthening programs are supported by school members so that the program has been implemented optimally. (3) the principal acts as an educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator and as a motivator.

The most important child education is to form a character, which can be done in family education or school education with an Islamic education perspective. Shaping the character of a child in the perspective of Islamic education is by providing Islamic religious guidance that is applied in the family or at school, which is intended to shape the child to become a human being who believes and has devotion to God Almighty, and has noble character which includes ethics , morals, character, spiritual or understanding and experience of religious values in everyday life. Which is basically education based on imitating the behavior of the Prophet Muhammad. So, in essence, karak educationtar is the spirit in Islamic education. This study was aimed to describe (1) character values of fairy tales, (2) the presentation of tales by the teacher, and (3) character values that affect daily life of the students. This was a naturalistic qualitative study. Data collection was done through observation, interviews, and documents. The results of this study show the following. (1) Character education that appears in fairy tales is religious values, honesty, discipline, hard working, creative, independence, curiosity, taking pleasure in reading, responsibility, tolerance, democracy, love of peace, communicativeness, awareness of environment and society. (2) The presentation of the fairy tale is by reading the fairy tales from a book, directly telling stories without props, and telling stories with props. The style of telling story with the sounds of figures, inserting chant in fairy tale, and ending by Al Quran, Hadis, or Arab proverb. (3) Character values that affect in dialy life of student are religious values, honest, discipline, hard working, independence, curiosity, responsibility, love of peace, communicativeness, awareness of environment and society.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, child mischief conducts tend to somehow worrying, especially in elementary school (SD) pupils. Whilst, posters containing wisdom expression posted on the walls of several schools in Surakarta region seems relevant to the issue. This research problematizes the value of religious character education contained in the expression of wisdom on the schools’ walls, and its meaning as well as its function in this pandemic situation. This qualitative research aims to find various kinds of religious values on the posters in the schools and describes the meaning of those values. The source of research data is written language, namely the expression of wisdom which has religious value. Data collection techniques used are documentation (seeing) and observation techniques (noting). Consecutively, the data is then analyzed through the referential equivalent method and triangulation of data sources. As result, found that there are five religious sub-values, namely peace-loving, tolerance, self-esteem, friendship, and environmental care, that could be utilized by teachers in distance learning during the pandemic.
