ABSTRAK   Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan warga tentang tumbuh kembang pada anak usia pra sekolah, meningkatkan pengetahuan warga dalam melakukan stimulasi tumbuh kembang pada anak usia prasekolah, serta optimalisasi tumbuh kembang anak usia pra sekolah Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan evaluasi serta refleksi. Perencanaan dilaksanakan utuk persiapan kegiatan dan persiapan sarana. Tindakan yang dilakukan yaitu Pemberian pendidikan kesehatan tentang pertumbuhan dan perkembangan untuk stimulasi pada anak, mendemonstrasikan cara pembuatan media dari bahan bekas untuk stimulasi tumbuh kembang pada anak serta optimalisasi tumbuh kembang pada anak. Observasi dan evaluasi yang dilakukan yaitu kendala dalam proses pembuatan media stimulasi tumbuh kembang anak maupun dalam proses pendidikan kesehatan terkait stimulasi tumbuh kembang anak yang diberikan kepada warga. Refleksi untuk mengetahui kekurangan atau kelebihan terhadap kegiatan yang telah dilakukan dalam rangka menetapkan rekomendasi terhadap keberlangsungan atau pengembangan kegiatan berikutnya. Dengan adanya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan judul Stimulasi Tumbuh Kembang pada Anak Usia Pra Sekolah di PAUD Kelurahan Sukorejo, Gunung Pati, Semarang, dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan warga tentang tumbuh kembang pada anak usia pra sekolah, meningkatkan pengetahuan warga dalam melakukan stimulasi tumbuh kembang pada anak usia prasekolah serta optimalisasi tumbuh kembang pada anak usia pra sekolah.   ABSTRACT This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge of citizens about growth and development in pre-school age children, increase citizen knowledge in stimulating growth and development in preschoolers, and optimizing the growth and development of pre-school age children The methods used in this activity are planning, action, observation and evaluation as well as reflection. Planning is carried out for the preparation of activities and preparation of facilities. The action taken is the provision of health education about growth and development for stimulation in children, demonstrating ways of making media from used materials for stimulation of growth and development in children and optimization of growth and development in children. Observations and evaluations carried out are obstacles in the process of making media for child development and stimulation in the health education process related to child growth and stimulation given to residents. Reflection to find out the weaknesses or strengths of the activities that have been carried out in order to establish recommendations for the continuation or development of the next activity. With the community service activities entitled Development and Growth Stimulation in Pre-School Age Children in PAUD Sukorejo Village, Gunung Pati, Semarang, it can increase citizens 'knowledge about growth and development in pre-school age children, increase citizens' knowledge in stimulating growth and development in children aged preschool and optimization of growth and development in pre-school age children.

Background: The balanced  nutrition  paradigm is currently unknown  to  the  general public, especially school-age children. The old paradigm of four healthy five perfects is still taught in schools. Whereas in the new paradigm of balanced nutrition, in addition to the principle of nutrition that must be consumed in a balanced manner, there is another message that must be conveyed, namely physical activity at least 30 minutes every day, regular exercise, drinking 8 glasses of water a day, washing hands before and after eating and always monitor your weight. Purpose: This community service activity aims to improve balanced nutrition knowledge in elementary school age children. Method: The method of community service is through lectures and games for ice breaking so that the atmosphere becomes more fun. Results: Most of the students of SDN Kalisari 1 Surabaya were female (54%), 10 years old (62%), and parents had jobs in the “other” category namely construction workers, janitors and farm workers (38%). As many as 83% of students have breakfast habits and 88% of students often access the internet. The level of student’s knowledge of balanced nutrition is included in the sufficient category (59%). There is a difference in the level of knowledge before and after counseling about the concept of balanced nutrition (α = 0.04). Conclusion: Efforts to increase knowledge of balanced nutrition with counseling and game methods are considered effective because there is a significant increase in the level of knowledge of SDN Kalisari 1 Surabaya students.

A community service activity through the Community Empowerment program (KKN PPM) to improve school-age children's entrepreneurship skills and knowledge in Likupang Barat has been well implemented. The KKN PPM program aims to produce an action program for food crop cultivation by utilizing the schoolyard in an effort to instill the entrepreneurial spirit in school-age children and increase knowledge and skills in life skills through pilot projects of cultivation of food crops for school-age children in SMPN 1 Talise. The method used in the KKN PPM program was a combination of "application of science and technology appropriately" in cultivation of food crops with the "Pilot Project" learning approach or demonstration of farming by utilizing the schoolyard. Therefore, the children get life skill experience in the effort to characterize entrepreneurship. Moreover, this activity becomes a laboratory and learning resource for students of the Economic Education subjects as well as child character development. The results achieved in this program were the availability of the piloting food crops that can support the fulfillment of consumption needs. In addition, it can be used as a learning media for the Economic Education subject in an effort to instill an entrepreneurial spirit, as well as a source of school needs for school-aged children.

ABSTRAKDesa Panyampa terletak di Kecamatan Campalagian, Kabupaten Polewali Mandar, Provinsi Sulawesi Barat. Berdasarkan penelitian Indeks Pembangunan Manusia tahun 2019, Desa Panyampa merupakan salah satu desa dengan angka kasus stunting yang cukup tinggi. Stunting merupakan kondisi tidak tercukupinya gizi anak yang menyebabkan permasalahan pada tumbuh kembang anak. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat perihal stunting terutama mengenai pentingnya kecukupan gizi dalam pertumbuhan anak pada 1000 hari pertama kehidupan. Metode yang dilakukan adalah Edukasi Stunting melalui penyampaian materi oleh narasumber kompeten yang dilanjutkan dengan sesi tanya jawab dan konsultasi. Hasil evaluasi kepuasan kegiatan Edukasi Stunting menunjukkan bahwa sebagain besar peserta berusia 25-34 tahun dan kini telah memiliki dua hingga lebih dari tiga orang anak. Sebanyak 65,31% peserta merasa sangat setuju bahwa narasumber menyampaikan materi dengan baik serta memberi tanggapan yang baik terhadap pertanyaan peserta. Peserta juga memperoleh informasi yang baru mengenai stunting melalui kegiatan ini. Kata kunci: edukasi stunting; desa panyampa ABSTRACTPanyampa Village is located in Campalagian District, Polewali Mandar Regency, West Sulawesi Province. Based on the 2019 Human Development Index research, Panyampa Village is one of the villages with a high enough number of stunting cases. Stunting is a condition of inadequate child nutrition that causes problems in child growth and development. This community service activity aims to increase public knowledge and understanding about stunting, especially regarding the importance of adequate nutrition in children's growth in the first 1000 days of life. The method used is Stunting Education through the material presentation by competent resource persons followed by questions and answers then consultations sessions. The results of the satisfaction evaluation of Stunting Education activities show that most of the participants are aged 25-34 years old and now have two or more than three children. A total of 65.31% of the participants strongly agreed that the resource persons conveyed the material well and gave good responses to the participants' questions. Participants also received new information about stunting through this activity. Keywords: stunting education; panyampa village

This community service is aimed at developing children’s character so that they are willing to caretoward their environment (social awareness), to actively involved in activities, and improve their creativity. The method used in this community service is by doing assistance and giving accompanying to school-age children who willingly join the activities for a month which is held once in a week. The accompanying is conducted through ‘Learning is Fun’ approach.  The target of this community service activity is school-age students of 7 up to 10 years old who willingly join activity for a month. The results of the activity are children willingly behave and care that cover sharing together, helping others in need, and actively involving in various activities. The results of the activity are the success of this community service activity that is reflected from the activities and the enthusiasm of children who attend which are 12 school-age children. They come and join each session orderly and carry out the activities well. Based on the communication to some parents, children have started helping simple household core, such as making the bed, sweeping, and washing. This succeed can also be seen from the children’s spirit in joining each activity. This activity is expected to be able to improve character of social care in children, foster children's creativity and improve children's learning experience.

In this globalization era, everyone uses gadgets with modern technology such as laptops, computer, tablets, smarthphones and others. Interesting things of gadgets such as social media and online games make gadgets are nedded for all of ages including school-age children. More fun of gadgets activity makes school-age children play gadgets more than two hours a day. Excessive intensity is very dangerous because dependence of gadgets affects intellectual and emotional intelligence, decreased focus on learning, does not do homework, and unable to manage time for others things. More severe impact is the risk of mental disorders. The aim of this community service activity was that students know how to use gadgets correctly and avoid gadgets abuse. The provision of health education was carried out directly to the students in St. Yoseph III Elementary School. Media used are educational videos, posters and leaflets. Students were divided into several groups based on grade level. After providing health education, we evaluated the students’knowledge. The result showed that 65% of students understood the health education and 55% gave positive feedback. It is very important for students to understanding the correct use of gadgets, so that students do not dependence of gadgets which has impact on physical and psychological health problems and does not interfere students’learning processes. Therefore, it is recommended that parents and teachers can monitor the use og gadgets and guide children on how to use gadgets properly both at home and at school.     Key Words: Gadgets, School-age children

Stimulation of growth and development in children including pre-school age children is very important to do by parents and families. This is done to stimulate the ability and growth and development of children to grow and develop optimally in accordance with the stages of development. Many factors affect parents in providing growth and development stimulus in pre-school age children. One of them is the involvement of fathers in childcare. The purpose of this study was to obtain a picture of the factors that influence parents in providing stimulation of preschool children growth and development. The research design used was descriptive research with cross-sectional study. Data analysis using component analysis with univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed that the father's involvement variable influences the provision of growth and growth stimulation in pre-school children (p value = 0.001), and OR = 10.978 which means that respondents who have father involvement in good stimulation have an opportunity for mothers 10.9 times better in doing growth and growth stimulation on their children compared to respondents who had less father involvement in stimulation. The involvement or role of fathers in the stimulation of growth and development becomes an important aspect for children's development.

Abstract During the covid-19 pandemic in Indonesian, the number of the people infected with the covid-19 virus is increasing. This has an impact on many aspects of everyone’s life, whether in education, health, social, economic. In school children, learning is carried out boldly using mobile phones at home. This makes the mind saturated, the purpose of this community service is to eliminate boredom by increasing the productivity of children during the covid-19 pandemic through this positive service activity using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. In this community service activity, it is aimed at shool-age children in Bagor Kulon village. The application of various positive activities at school age children can make them more productive so that the mind is calmer and eliminates boredom. Activities that can be applied include fishing by reading and writing IQRA, learning to memorize letters, read a book, and small competitions including adhan competitions, poetry reading competitons, and short letter memorization competitions, and short letter memorization competitions. Activities are carried out with due observance of health protocols. As a result of community service through these positive activities, children have high enthusiasm to do positive activities and get positive benefits. Tumbuh kembang pada anak terlambat bila tidak mencapai tahap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang diharapkan pada umur yang semestinya. Pengetahuan orang tua terutama ibu tentang tumbuh kembang yang memadai memberikan efek terhadap  rata-rata perubahan fisik, intelektual, sosial dan emosional anak dari tumbuh kembang yang normal. Committed in Improving the Health of Indonesia Children yang dirilis Pediatric of Society oleh Ikatan Dokter Anak Indonesia diperkirakan 5-10% anak usia dibawah 5 tahun mengalami keterlambatan umum. Data PAUD Hj. Siti Anisah menunjukkan 3  (60% ) ibu memiliki pengetahuan tentang tumbuh kembang cukup baik, keterlibatan ibu 100% mengasuh sendiri anaknya, kemandirian anak  terdapat 3 (60%) anak mandiri. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan ibu tentang tumbuh kembang anak dan keterlibatan ibu dalam mengasuh terhadap kemandirian anak usia pra sekolah. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional, sampel 36 ibu dan anak usia pra sekolah di PAUD Hj. Siti Anisah. Hasil uji Chi square pengetahuan ibu dengan kemandirian anak adalah  p value  0,000 dan  keterlibatan ibu dalam mengasuh terhadap kemandirian anak adalah p value   0,000. Adanya pengetahuan ibu dan keterlibatan ibu dalam mengasuh anak mampu memandirikan anak. Orangtua perlu  menambah pengetahuan tentang tumbuh kembang anak dan terlibat secara optimal dalam pola asuh anak. Kata kunci: pengetahuan; tumbuh kembang; kemandirian,  anak pra sekolah; keterlibatan ibuRELATIONSHIP OF MOTHER'S KNOWLEDGE REGARDING CHILD GROWTH AND MOTHER'S INVOLVEMENT IN PARENTING WITH CHILDREN'S INDEPENDENCE OFPRE-SCHOOL AGE ABSTRACT Growth and development in children is delayed if they do not reach the expected growth and development stages at the age they should be. Parents' knowledge, especially dealing with adequate growth and development, has an effect on the average physical, intellectual, social and emotional changes of children from normal growth and development. Committed to Improving the Health of Indonesian Children released by the Pediatric Society by the Indonesian Pediatrician Association, it is estimated that 5-10% of children under 5 years of age experience general delays. At Hj. Siti Anisah Pre-school, it was showed that 3 (60%) mothers had quite good knowledge about growth and development, 100% involvement of mothers in caring for their children, and 3 (60%) children were independent. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between knowledge about child growth and mother's involvement in caring for the independence of pre-school age children. This type of research was quantitative with a cross sectional design, the sample were 36 mothers and pre-school children at Hj. Siti Anisah Pre-school. The results of the Chi square test of mother's knowledge of child independence has p value 0.000 and mother's involvement in caring for children's independence has p value 0.000. The existence of knowledge and involvement of mothers in raising children is able to make children independent. Abstrak: Praktik bullying ataupun kekerasan di sekolah masih sering terjadi hingga saat ini. Sudah banyak kasus Bullying yang terungkap dan bahkan menyebabkan kematian bagi korban. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman kepada siswa tentang bullying dan cara pencegahannya. Bentuk kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan yaitu Penyuluhan kesehatan tentang bullying dan pencegahannya serta diskusi bersama. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada hari Sabtu, tanggal 08 Februari 2020 pukul 09.20-11.00 WITA. Peserta kegiatan penyuluhan ini adalah siswa-siswi SMK Negeri 1 Lelogama, Kecamatan Amfoang Selatan, Kabupaten Kupang kelas XI-XII. Peserta penyuluhan sebanyak 68 peserta. Penyuluhan Kesehatan dapat berjalan dengan baik dan lancar. Pihak sekolah juga memberikan dukungan penuh dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini. Pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa semakin bertambah terkait bullying dan cara pencegahannya, dibuktikan dari hasil pre-test dan post-test dimana terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan sebesar 30% setelah diberikan penyuluhan. Perlu dilakukan pengabdian lanjutan dengan waktu yang lebih lama untuk advokasi aturan/kebijakan terkait pencegahan dan penanganan bullying di sekolah.Abstract: The practice of bullying or violence in schools was still common today. There have been many cases of bullying that have been revealed and have even caused death to victims. The purpose of this service was to provide knowledge and understanding to students about bullying and how to prevent it. The form of service activities carried out was health counseling about bullying and its prevention and discussion together. This community service activity was held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 09.20-11.00 WITA. The participants of this counseling activity were students of SMK Negeri 1 Lelogama, Amfoang Selatan District, Kupang Regency in class XI-XII. There were 68 extension participants. Health education can run well and smoothly. The school also provides full support in this service activityStudents' knowledge and understanding is increasing regarding bullying and how to prevent it, as evidenced by the results of the pre-test and post-test where there is an increase in knowledge of 30% after being given counseling. Further service needs to be done with a longer time for advocating for rules / policies related to the prevention and handling of bullying in schools.

Dietary habit is behaviors that are appropriate for the selection of the right foods so that they will provide good nutritional status. Nutrients that consist of macronutrients such as carbohydrates, proteins, fats, and micro substances such as vitamins and minerals needed by the body for the process of growth and development. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between eating patterns with the nutritional status and cognitive abilities of elementary school children. Cross-Sectional research design. The population in this study were all students as many as 367 students, the sampling used was a Stratified random sampling technique, a sample of 192 respondents. Data analysis uses the Spearman Rank Rho statistical test. The results of the analysis of dietary variables with nutritional status were obtained ρ (0.003) <α (0.05), so H0 was rejected, meaning that there was a relationship between eating patterns and nutritional status of school-age children, with a value of r = 0.210 which showed a high positive correlation. The results of the analysis of nutritional status variables with cognitive abilities obtained results ρ = 0.00, <α = 0.05. meaning that there is a relationship between nutritional status and cognitive learning achievement in elementary school children. Normal nutritional status can be obtained by applying a positive diet so that the intake that enters the body in accordance with the needs of the body. Children who have normal nutritional status have good cognitive abilities. Parents are the most important support in optimizing children's growth and development
