Introduction: Giardia lamblia infection can cause impaired absorption of nutrientsand affects to the nutritional status that has not yet fully investigated in Indonesia. This study aimed to investigate the comparison of prevalence of Giardia lambliainfection and nutritional status of elementary students in Mandangin island and Mojovillage where were different condition. Methods: An analytical observational study with cross sectional design wasconducted in Mandangin island in July 2017 and Mojo village in June 2018 byinformed consent. Stools of elementary students were collected for Giardia lambliaidentification under a light microscope using direct smear method. Nutritional statusof students were determined by body mass index (BMI), and categorized as severeunderweight, underweight, healthyweight, overweight, and obese. Results: Forty-five stools samples were collected from elementary students inMandangin island and 55 stools samples in Mojo village. Prevalence of Giardialamblia infection without symptoms was higher in elementary students in Mandanginisland than Mojo village (28,9%, 13/45 and 1,8%, 1/55, respectively). Giardiasisprevalence in Mandangin island was significantly difference with Mojo village(p<0.0001, chi square-test). Nutritional status of students in both study sites showeddominant healthy-weight that were 73.3% (34/55) in Mandangin island and 61.8%(33/45) in Mojo village. Giardiasis was commonly observed in students with healthy-weight and it was higher in Mandangin island (8/33, 24.2%) than Mojo village (1/34,2.9%).Conclusion: Asymptomatic giardiasis was highly found in elementary students inMandangin island and commonly observed in students with healthy-weight from both 3 regions. It suggested that asymptomatic giardiasis might not affect to the nutrition status of students.

Yunus Bengkulu, as many as 135 people and as many as 74 people were divided into 37 case groups and 37 control groups by purposive sampling technique. Chi Square statistical test results showed the value of ρ for age (p 0,000), parity (p 0,000), history of Caesarean Sectio (p 0.016), history of curettage (p 0.033), and pregnancy distance (p 0.005). In conclusion, based on statistical tests, there is a significant relationship between the factors of maternal age, parity, history of Caesarean Sectio, history of curettage, distance of pregnancy to the incidence of placenta previa. It is recommended to nurses RSUD Dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu to be able to provide education in preventing the occurrence of placenta previa by conducting interviews and discussions with risk patients at RSUD Dr. M. Infection of Soil Transmitted Helminthes (STH) is caused by intestinal nematodes where as in its life cycle, soil is needed as the media for the eggs or larvae to mature into effective forms, most commonly happen to children of school age. This infection is still one of the main problems in public health, including Indonesia. STH infection are widely distributed in tropical and subtropical areas. Lack of personal hygiene, poor environmental sanitation and low socioeconomic status are some factors that plays role in increasing the occurrence of the infection. This infection is also one of the causes responsible for malnutrition in children by decreasing appetite and food intake thus ensued adverse consequences such as declining growth pace, impairment of physical health, and weakening cognitive function. This study was conducted to analyze the association of STH infection with nutritional status of SDN 200 students in Kertapati District, Palembang. This study was an analytic observational research with a cross sectional research design. Samples consist of 107 students chosen using proportional stratified random sampling technique. Data was collected by direct interview using questionnaires, measuring body weight and height to obtain nutritional status which then classified using CDC 2000 growth curve while fecal contamination was examined using Kato Katz and modified Harada Mori methode in the Laboratory of Parasitology Medical Faculty of Universitas Sriwijaya. Data then analyzed using Chi-square test. From 107 students, 27.1% infection of STH was found on 29 students with 6 students (20.7%) infected by A. lumbricoides and 23 students (79.3%) infected by T. trichiura. Proportion of malnutrition status was found at 43.9%. Statistical test showed a significant association between STH infection and nutritional status (p=0.036; OR=3.167; Cl 95%: 1.163-15.237). There was a significant association between STH infection and nutritional status in students of SDN 200 Kelurahan Kemas Rindo Kertapati District Palembang City.

At least 1 out of 100 people with kidney stroke will have kidney failur. People with chronic renal failur require furtur treatment to replace a number of kidney functions such as performing hemodialysis. The purpose of this study was to determine the factor associated with hepatitis undergoing hemodyalis in patien with chronic renal failure in Royal prima hospital, patient with chronic renal failur who undergo hemodyalisis in royal prima hospital 114 patients in september. The type of research used is analytic with cross sctional design. The population of 114 respondents and the sample is 29 respondents. Sampling technique in this research is by perposive sampling technique. Data is processed and analyzed by Chi-square test. Data colection method by filling queationer.Based on the result of this research, there is a significant corelation between adherence with motivation (p=0,069), age (p=0,002), family support (p= 0,002). The concclusion of this research is that there is connection between the faktors associated with our live hemodialisa in patients with kidney failur in patients with kidney failur in royal prima hospital in 2018.
