Education is not only given to those who are in school. The Non-Formal Education Unit of the Banjar Regency Learning Activity Studio provides a place for all people who wish to continue to gain knowledge without having to worry about their social life. The social life that all learning citizens live is inseparable from the social studies education they learn at SPNF SKB Banjar Regency. With this learning process they can implement social studies education in their social life. The purpose of this study was to describe the social life of the learning citizens of SPNF SKB Banjar Regency by looking at the implementation they got in social studies education. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected by a process of observation, interviews and documentation. Analyze data by presenting data, data reduction and data verification. Meanwhile, to test the validity of the data is done by triangulation of places, techniques, and sources. The result of this research is a description of the social life of the learning citizens of SPNF SKB Banjar Regency both at school and in the family environment. The social life of the learning community also includes the implementation of social studies education obtained from the teaching and learning process. The processes that take place during their daily activities are able to show the role of social studies education as the basis of society.Keywords: Social Life, Social Studies Education, Non-Formal Education Unit

Hypertext and hypermedia are kinds of media software that interlink of text, image, graphic, video, and audio. The use of hypertext and hypermedia as a method on a blended learning situation make learning activity more interactive. Users can make connection between text, image, audio clips and video clips as a link or hyperlink. Cooperative skills of students in the methods Hypertex and Hypermedia through Blended Learning in social studies integrated together and learning process with the full meaning, because it is not only related to the achievement of the learning material, but students also learn to operate the computer well and social life when discussions group.The use of hypertext and hypermedia is effective to motivate students learning on of social science. This research uses a qualitative approach. This research is aimed to explore further the embedding of discipline values to the students in the teaching and learning of IPS in SMK Negeri 1 Simpang 4. The result of this research shows that the learning process of IPS which was done by the teacher did not match with lesson plan. The IPS teacher only used lecturing and question-answer methods without variation in learning model. The IPS teacher did not know about the dimension of value and attitude in the Social Studies. Nonetheless, some of the teaching and learning processes that the teacher conveyed were loaded with values implementation for the students through contextual approach (connecting the material with values in society). The teaching and learning processes conducted by the IPS teacher were not maximum enough in implementing the values of discipline to students. As the result, there were some of students who were not discipline yet.Key word: Social Studies (IPS) teaching and learning, Students’ discipline Penelitian ini menggunanakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini untuk menggali lebih dalam tentang penerapan nilai-nilai kedisiplinan terhadap siswa dalam Pembelajaran IPS di SMK Negeri 1 Simpang Empat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran IPS yang dilaksanakan oleh guru sebagian tidak sesuai dengan RPP. Guru IPS hanya menggunakan metode ceramah dan tanyajawab dalam pembelajaran tanpa variasi model pembelajaran. Guru IPS juga tidak mengetahui tentang dimensi nilai dan sikap dalam IPS. Meskipun begitu sebagian pembelajaran yang telah guru sampaikan memuat penanaman nilai-nilai untuk siswa melalui pendekatan kontekstual (mengaitkan materi dengan nilai-nilai yang ada di masyarakat). Pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru IPS masih belum maksimal dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai disiplin terhadap siswa, sehingga sebagian siswa masih belum disiplin.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran IPS, Disiplin siswa

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of character education which lately has not been carried out optimally and the effectiveness of formal education has not been effective. Everywhere acts of violence and rounding or quarrels occur. This is very worrying for children. So that the teacher has an important role in forming and developing the character of students in the school environment, especially in carrying out learning activities. CTL learning is one of the learning models suitable for implementing student character education in thematic subjects. So the purpose of this study is to study more deeply about what character values are contained in thematic lessons through learning Contextual Teaching and Learning in Primary Elementary Schools ‘Aisyiyah Taman Harapan Curup and its implementation. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis uses Miles and Huberman interactive models, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Test the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The results of the research that have been carried out show that: (1) the character values in CTL learning in the thematic study of sub-themes 1 and 3 of learning 3 has 12 character values developed. These values are religious, disciplined, hard work, creative, independent, curiosity, love for the country, respect for achievement, caring for the social, responsible, friendly / communicative, and tolerance; (2) the form of character education implementation in CTL learning is realized in each thematic learning activity sub-themes 1 and 3 which are integrated with CTL aspects in it such as praying, praying, using learning media, conducting experiments, giving assignments, asking questions, presenting the results of the discussion, singing Indonesian songs, and doing practice questions.

Abstract. This journal discusses the development of variations in teaching in increasing learning motivation. The learning process is an activity that involves an individual (physical and spiritual), learning activities are never carried out without a strong motivation or motivation from within the individual or from outside the individual who participates in learning activities. Therefore, the learning process requires the development and use of variations in teaching to generate student motivation. Variations in teaching include variations in teaching styles, variations in media and materials, and variations in teaching and learning interactions. Motivation has a very important role in learning activities, there is no learning activity without motivation, therefore motivation has a strategic role in achieving the goals or results of learning. The objective of this research is to know new decisions about the teaching and learning process in the context of the pandemic in the state of Amazonas, Brazil. The pandemic suspended classroom classes at more than 200 schools, causing the reorganization of pedagogical practices in distance education. The result was the applicability of the Special Regime of Non-Attendance Classes adopted by the Government of Amazonas (Aula em Casa Project). It is concluded that new directions can be taken from formal education in view of this new reality.

<p>The focus of this research is to describe the strategy of adversity quotient for the management of the Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) to develop innovations in turning barriers into opportunities for non-formal education programs. Qualitative research with this type of case study was carried out at PKBM Mentari, using structured interviews as the primary data collection method, in order to obtain primary data and document matrix methods to obtain secondary data. the data were analyzed using interactive techniques belonging to Miles and Huberman with the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are the adversity quotient strategy that generally implemented by PKBM is very good, this can be seen from the indicators including: 1) Organizing learning activities flexibly in terms of time, so that it does not interfere with the daily activities of the community; 2) Provide learning at affordable costs so as not to burden the community in participating in learning; 3) Making the community the main partner in the continuation of teaching and learning activities at PKBM and 4) Building synergies with local village officials. The relatively short research time is the main limitation in compiling this study, so that it only maximizes the statements of the main informants. </p><p><strong> </strong></p>

The purpose  of this activity is for increasing  students interest  in learning  at MI Nasrul  Ulum Klagensrampat. This activity uses a learning  method in conveying material  to students.By applying this method the writer hopes that the learning process can be achieved properly. Therefore, it is very important for educators  to recognize several kinds of learning  methods so that students feel happy and comfortable when learning takes place. The writing of this work were supported by the researcher’s activity after doing identification  and communication with the teacher,  so that the researchers and the teacher  were able to find out the obstacles faced by the students in teaching and learning  activity which has been done. In this activity, the researcher applied various methods of effective and innovative teaching which were able to increase students learning interest. The learning methods are puzzle method, flashcard method, silent way method, make a match method, snowball method, bamboo method, and monopoly method

ABSTRAK : Penilaian ini berisi proses pembelajaran IPS pada siswa kelas VI yang dilakukan di SD Negeri 18 Kendari. Tujuan dan karya tulis ini, adalah membuktikanbahwa kegiatan bermain dan membuat display dapat memberikan keberhasilan pada proses pembelajaran siswa dalam rangka pencapaian mastery learning. Dalam penelitian ini penulis melibatkan 12 siswa kelas VI yang ada di SD Negeri 18 Kendari yaitu siswa kelas VI untuk tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Alat penilaian yang digunakan berbentuk tes dan non tes. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Antara lain siklus I, siklus II dan siklus III merupakan rangkaian kegiatan yang saling berkaitan. Faktor yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah proses pembelajaran siswa yakni mengamati kelancaran pembelajaran, suasana dan aktivitas pembelajaran serta hasil belajar siswa. Rubrik penilaian dilakukan pada saat siswa terlibat dalam kegiatan kelompok ketiga membuat display dan melakukan permainan. Rubrik bertujuan untuk melihat keterampilan-keterampilan yang diharapkan pada paradigma pembelajaran dalam pedoman KTSP yaitu,1) learning to know, 2) Learning to do, 3) leraning to be, dan 4) learning to live togather telah dicapai oleh siswa. Perbandingan hasil pre-test, siklus I, siklus II, dan siklus III, serta rubrik penilaian saat pembuatan display dan permainan menunjukan bahwa keterampilan yang diharapkan dari setiap kriteria penilaian dapat dilalui dengan nilai yang baik oleh semua kelompok. Meskipun penilaian rubrik dilakukan dalam kelompok, namun keterampilan itu tetap menjadi tanggung jawab setiap individu siswa. Hal penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan tehnik permainan dan display dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS karena suasana belajar dirasakan menyenangkan dan siswa lebih aktif menyelesaikan tugas serta terjadi peningkatan prestasi belajar. Kata Kunci: Aktivitas, Prestasi Belajar, STADABSTRACT: This assessment contains the social studies learning process for grade VI students conducted at SD Negeri 18 Kendari. The purpose and this paper, is to prove that playing activities and making displays can provide success in the learning process of students in order to achieve mastery learning. In this study the authors involved 12 grade VI students in 18 Public Elementary School Kendari, namely grade VI students for the 2014/2015 school year. Assessment tools used in the form of tests and non-tests. This research was conducted in three cycles. Among other cycles I, cycle II and cycle III is a series of interrelated activities. The factors examined in this study were the students' learning processes, namely observing the smooth learning, the atmosphere and learning activities and student learning outcomes. The assessment rubric is done when students are involved in third group activities making displays and playing games. The rubric aims to look at the skills expected in the learning paradigm in the SBC guidelines, namely, 1) learning to know, 2) learning to do, 3) learning to be, and 4) learning to live togather has been achieved by students. Comparison of pre-test results, cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III, as well as the assessment rubric when making displays and games shows that the skills expected from each assessment criteria can be passed with good grades by all groups. Although the rubric assessment is done in groups, the skill remains the responsibility of each individual student. This study shows that the application of game and display techniques can improve social studies learning outcomes because the learning atmosphere is felt to be fun and students are more active in completing assignments and there is an increase in learning achievement. Keywords: Activities, Learning Achievement, STAD
