Integrasi student social media community dengan disaster preparedness project based learning menjadi salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan terhadap bencana bagi para siswa. Student social media community dibangun dengan membentuk komunitas media sosial pada siswa, selain itu juga membentuk secara aktif dalam dunia nyata. Disaster project based learningmerupakan penerapan project based learning dengan tema kebencanaan. Para siswa dilibatkan aktif secara langsung untuk membuat proyek kampanye kesiapsiagaan terhadap bencana yang berbasis digital. Hasil kerja para siswa dijadikan bahan kanpanye kesiapsiagaan bencana pada komunitas media sosial yang telah dibangun. Untuk mengukur keberhasilan pembelajaran digunakan instrument pengukuran kesiapsiagaan bencana berupa angket yang telah diuji. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa instrument yang digunakan valid dan reliabel. Pengukuran kesiapsiagaan bencana dilakukab dengan melakukan pre-test dan post-test dengan angket yang sama. Data yang diperoleh dari pre-testdan post-test kemudian dibandingkan.

Disaster mitigation is activity that very important to teach and learning to someone as early as possible. Disaster mitigation can teach through positive activities such as school learning. This study aims to describe the implementation of Project Based Learning on students' reasoning for Class VII Covid-19 Disaster Mitigation at SMP 1 Maduran. This research is very much needed to see students' reasoning for understanding the concept of Covid-19 disaster mitigation and to train Covid-19 disaster preparedness as early as possible for students of SMPN 1 Maduran. The research method used One Group Pre-test Post-test Design with 30 students of grade VII at SMPN 1 Maduran. The results generally showed increase student reasoning with an average N-Gain score of 0.68 in the moderate category. The results of the increase in reasoning on each indicator, (1) namely explaining the relationship between the elements in the problem increased with an average N-Gain score of 0.58 in the moderate category, (2) made the problem solving project structure increase with an average N-Gain score of 0.76 with the High category, and (3) realizing projects that have been designed in the form of completion results increased with an average N-Gain score of 0.67 in the moderate category. Based on the data generated, it can be shown that learning using Project Based Learning is able to improve students' reasoning in class VII Covid-19 disaster mitigation material at SMPN 1 Maduran. Future research expected to be able measure students' creativity in the process of problems solving in mitigating the Covid-19 disaster.

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa pada mata kuliah kewirausahaan tingkat II di Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi FKIP Universitas Kuningan. Rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis tersebut ditunjukkan dengan masih banyaknya mahasiswa yang hanya menguasai salah satu aspek pembelajaran pada ruang lingkup kemampuan berpikir tingkat rendah yaitu berkisar pada aspek mengingat atau menghafal. Selain itu, makalah atau tugas-tugas yang dibuat mahasiswa kebanyakan hanya copy paste dari modul atau buku yang sudah ada dan jarang sekali menggambarkan hasil pemikiran mahasiswa sendiri sebagai indikator kemampuan mahasiswa dalam berpikir kritis. Kebanyakan mahasiswa juga masih merasa kesulitan mengaitkan konsep dengan kondisi yang ada di lingkungan nyata. Kondisi semacam ini terjadi akibat dari proses perkuliahan yang hanya berjalan satu arah. Dengan banyak permasalahan-permasalahan yang muncul, perlu adanya pembaharuan di lingkungan pendidikan yang mengarahkan pembelajaran agar mahasiswa memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa pada pengukuran akhir (post-test), dan mendeskripsikan perbedaan peningkatan (gain) kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa antara kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan metode PjBL dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode PBL.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan pada� pretest antara kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan metode PjBL dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode PBL. Sedangkan setelah pembelajaran terdapat perbedaan hasil posttest kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Adapun terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa antara kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan metode PjBL dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode PBL dapat dilihat dari nilai gain kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,65 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,60. Dari bukti diatas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kedua metode tersebut yaitu PjBL dan PBL dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif bagi dosen untuk meningkatkan dan mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa.

Social media are one of the most valuable management tools used by sport managers in the fulfilment of their daily tasks. However, the studies that share and analyse the impact of educational experiences that incorporate social media into sport management education for professional purposes are scarce to date. Thus, this study presents an educational innovation piloted in a sport management course where LinkedIn—the social media most associated with the professional sphere—is introduced through an experiential learning methodology, as a driver of students’ career development and as a tool to keep up to date and interact with the sport industry. To assess the learning outcomes, a new scale was developed and tested. A total of 90 Spanish undergraduate sport management students (M = 22.71; SD = 3.84) participated in the study, partaking in a pre-test and a post-test. Regarding the results linked to the testing of the scale, the statistical analysis reflects the scale’s two-dimensional nature, explaining 68.78% of the variance, presenting good psychometric properties (α = 0.95). On the other hand, significant increases in all the scale items between the two measures were obtained, with large effects size in the two dimensions (Cohen’s d ≥ 0.80). Therefore, it is concluded that LinkedIn can help to develop the professional profile of sport management students, Linked(In)g what is taught in the classroom with what the sport industry demands.

This study examines the effect of project-based learning on children’s social-emotional development and children’s fine motoric development. This study uses a Quasi-Experimental Design. Control-Group Design (Pre-test and Post Test) or Nonequivalent [Pretest and Post Test] Control-Group Design, the experimental group (A) and the control group (B), were selected without a random assignment procedure. In these two groups, both pretest and posttest were carried out. Only the experimental group (A) was treated. This research was conducted at RA Uniform Debit and RA Kusuma Mulia, Ngino, Plemahan, Kediri. Data were collected using observation sheets, descriptive statistical data analysis, and paired t-test with alpha <0.05.  Based on the results of different tests with the Paired t-test, the Sig. As much as 0.000, where this value is less than 0.05, reject H1 and accept H0, there are differences in social-emotional development and fine motor skills between before (pretest) and after (posttest) getting project-based learning the experimental group and the control group. The average value shows that the social-emotional development after being given the Project-Based learning was more significant than the social-emotional development, namely 26.03> 20.44 in the experimental group and 22.10> 20.23 in the control group. Likewise, fine motor development before being given the Project-Based learning, namely 14.97> 11.84 in the experimental group and 13.03> 11.97 in the control group. This means that the project-based learning given to RA students in Plemahan, Kediri is more effective than learning in the control group.

Abstrak— Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) hasil belajar yang lebih tinggi antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan e-modul berbasis project based learning dengan siswa yang belajar tanpa menggunakan e-modul berbasis project based learning pada mata pelajaran Administrasi Basis Data kelas XII RPL SMK Negeri 1 Negara (2) Motivasi siswa kelas XII RPL di SMK Negeri 1 Negara setelah menggunakan e-modul berbasis project based learning pada mata pelajaran Administrasi Basis Data (3) Respon siswa kelas XII RPL di SMK Negeri 1 Negara setelah menggunakan e-modul berbasis project based learning pada mata pelajaran Administrasi Basis Data. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimen) dengan desain Post Test Only Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa kelas XII RPL SMK Negeri 1 Negara Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu kelas XII RPL 2 yang digunakan sebagai kelas ekperimen dan XII RPL 3 yang digunakan sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah 92 orang. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metode tes uraian untuk mengukur hasil belajar dan metode angket untuk menganalisis motivasi belajar siswa dan respon siswa. Data hasil belajar kemudian dianalisis dengan melakukan uji prasyarat yang meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji- t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Terdapat hasil belajar yang lebih tinggi dalam penerapan e-modul berbasis Project Based Learning pada mata pelajaran administrasi basis data kelas XII RPL di SMK Negeri 1 Negara. Hasil analisis uji-t memperoleh thitung = 7.7497 dan ttabel = 1.66196 untuk dk sebesar 90 dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Berdasarkan kreteria pengujian diperoleh thitung > ttebel, ini berarti H0 ditolak. (2) Motivasi belajar siswa yang menggunakan e-modul dikatakan tinggi dilihat dari rata-rata motivasi belajar kelas eksperimen yaitu sebesar 98.30. (3) Respon siswa dari penerapan e-modul berbasis project based learning pada mata pelajaran Administrasi basis data adalah positif dilihat rata – rata skor hasil angket respon siswa yaitu 58.47. Kata Kunci : Quasi Eksperimen, E-Modul, Administrasi Basis Data, Project Based Learning Abstract- This objectives of this research are to know: (1) higher learning outcomes between students who learn to use project based learning e-modules with students who learn without using e-module based project based learning on subjects Database Administration class XII RPL SMK 1 Negara (2) students’ motivation in XII RPL class at SMK Negeri 1 Negara after using e-module based on project based learning on Database Administration course (3) students’ response after using e-module based on project based learning in Database Administration course of XII RPL class at SMK Negeri 1 Negara. This research was quasi experiment research with Post Test Only Control Group design. Research’s population covered all XII RPL classes at SMK N 1 Negara in the academic year 2017/2018. The samples of this research were XII RPL 2 class as the experimental class and XII RPL 3 as the control class with total of 92 students. The data was obtained trough essay test to measure students’ achievement and questionnaire method which was used to analyze students’ motivation and students’ response. The data, then, was analyzed through prerequisite test which included normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. The results showed that (1) There is higher learning outcomes in the implementation of e-module based on Project Based Learning in the subjects of class XII database administration RPL in SMK Negeri 1 Negara. The result of t-test analysis obtained tcount = 7.7497 and ttable = 1.66196 for dk equal to 90 with 5% significant level. Based on test criteria obtained tcount > ttebel, this means H0 rejected. (2) Students’ motivation that used e-module was considerably high based on students’ learning motivation mean value of 98.30 (experiment). (3) Students’ response toward the application of project based learning e-modul on the Database Administration subject are positive that can be noticed from the average score of students' responses through questionnaire which is 59.47. keyword : Quasi Experiments, E-Modules, Database Administration, Project Based Learning.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh penerapan E-Modul mata pelajaran Video Editing berbasis model pembelajaran Project Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI Multimedia di SMK TI Bali Global Singaraja, (2) Untuk mengetahui respon siswa kelas XI Multimedia di SMK TI Bali Global Singaraja terhadap pengaruh penerapan E-Modul mata pelajaran Video Editing berbasis model pembelajaran Project Based Learning. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan Post Test Only Control Group Design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes pilihan ganda untuk mengukur ranah kognitif. Data hasil belajar dianalisis melalui uji prasyarat yaitu uji normalitas dan homogenitas dengan hasil 2 kelompok berdistribusi normal dan homogen, dilanjutkan dengan uji hipotesis yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dalam penggunaan E-Modul mata pelajaran Video Editing berbasis model pembelajaran Project Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Sedangkan untuk respon menggunakan metode angket. Hasil analisis angket E-Modul mata pelajaran Video Editing berbasis model pembelajaran Project Based Learning diketahui 67% respon sangat positif, 33% respon positif. Kata Kunci : E-Modul, Project Based Learning, hasil belajar, dan respon siswa The objectives of this study is to find out (1) the effect of applying e-model on video editing lesson based Project Based Learning method on XI grade of Multimedia at SMK TI Global Singaraja. (2) The students' respondent on the XI grade of Multimedia at SMK TI Global Singaraja toward the affect of e-model video editing lesson based project based learning method. This study is quasi experimental with used Post Test Only Control Group Design. Data collection was done using Objective Test Method to measure the cognitive domain. The result of the data was analyzed through prerequisite test which is normality and homogeneity test with the result 2 groups normally distributed and homogeneous, continued with hypothesis test which means there was a significant effect between using e-model video editing lesson based Project Based Learning model towards the students' learning result. While for the respondent was using questionnaire method. The use of technology-based media increases students’ motivation and learning effectivity in the classroom. This research aims to develop, to examine the appropriateness and the effectivity of flash-based media at Senior High School. This development research uses the ADDIE model. Based on the research result, the score of validity trials from the material expert is 72, the score from the media expert is 58 and from the practitioner expert is 75. The assessment from the material, media and practitioner expert show that flash-based media is in the appropriate category. Effectiveness test of the flash-based media development is through the testing of hypothesis, the data shows that for both experimental and controlled class in pre-test and post-test, the score is Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, and the score of the students’ motivation in learning for pre-test and post-test in both experimental and controlled is Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05. It means that the flash-based media increases students’ motivation and achievement in the learning process. This research result supports the theories of technology learning, especially for the development of learning aids and media for English subject.

Abstract   Lake Sentani is located in Jayapura, Papua. Sentani people live in 26 villages along the coast and small islands around the lake. One of those islands is Yoboy Village, where a Onomi Niphi Reading House has been operating to provide library for elementary and senior high schools. The reading house is becoming center for various programs from various parties. Lake Sentani education program for students in Onomi Niphi Reading House was conducted to increase their knowledge of characteristics and fish species of Lake Sentani, as well as to develop digital education package and distributed to students in Yoboi Village and other students through social media. The program was conducted in Onomi Niphi Reading House, Jayapura at June 26 and July 3, 2021 through seminar and answer-question methods. Pretest was conducted before the class started and posttest applied after the class. Evaluation of the program was based on tests result and categorized to be distinguished, excellent, moderate, and poor. The test results showed the improvement of students’ knowledge on Lake Sentani. The documentation of the lake knowledge in digital format was distributed to the students and through social media. This will help the students to be aware of the improtance of conserving Lake Sentani.   Abstrak   Danau Sentani terletak di Kabupaten Jayapura, Papua. Danau ini ditempati oleh penduduk asli Sentani di 26 kampung yang menyebar di pulau-pulau dan tepian danau. Salah satunya adalah Kampung adat Yoboy, dimana terdapat Rumah Baca Onomi Niphi yang menyediakan perpustakaan bagi pelajar. Pembelajaran lingkungan tentang Danau Sentani diberikan kepada siswa Rumah Baca Onomi Niphi di kampung ini untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mereka tentang karakteristik dan jenis-jenis ikan Danau Sentani, membuat media pembelajaran digital (video) nya serta menyebar luaskannya ke pelajar di rumah baca ini dan melalui berbagai media sosial. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Rumah Baca Onomi-Niphi, Kampung Adat Yoboy, Kabupaten Jayapura, tanggal 26 Juni dan 3 Juli 2021 dalam bentuk ceramah dan tanya jawab. Pre test diberikan sebelum pembelajaran dan post test diberikan setelah pembelajaran. Evaluasi hasil pembelajaran ditentukan berdasarkan hasil-hasil test yang dikelompokkan menjadi kategori sangat baik, baik, cukup dan kurang. Hasil pre test dan post test pada pembelajaran tentang Danau Sentani menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan anak-anak meningkat setelah pembelajaran lingkungan tentang Danau Sentani. Dokumentasi materi pembelajaran dalam bentuk digital dan penyebar luasannya diharapkan dapat mempertahankan pengetahuan anak tentang Danau Sentani.  Pengetahuan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kepedulian anak terhadap Danau Sentani.

The purpose of this special issue of the Journal of Emergency Management is to assess the state of disaster preparedness, response, mitigation, and recovery during the COVID-19 pandemic. This article adds to this discussion by examining the results of a national survey of emergency managers in the United States regarding the social media platforms they use to communicate information related to the COVID-19 pandemic, how proficient they feel using them, and what value they see in these technologies during the times of crisis. The authors’ findings help make sense of government responses to the pandemic, as well as contribute to the body of literature on communication and emergency management more broadly. Furthermore, their findings have important implications for emergency management practitioners and educators.

The author provides a robust discussion of an ethnographic case study to facilitate creative thinking about how to use communications and social media technology to build resilience and improve citizen disaster preparedness through a “Be Ready” trivia campaign. This research can inform strategies to achieve several of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as well as the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction's Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (SFDRR). Future research directions include a new community resilience index that measures citizens' use of communications and social media technology. Implications for social change include raising the level of public awareness and facilitating a means to improve personal responsibility for disaster preparedness through low cost education programs. This could improve efforts by government and non-government organizations to improve disaster risk reduction; increase access to information and communication technology; increase disaster emergency planning and response; and build resilient communities.
