The purpose of this research is to find out how the influence of mind mapping methods inincreasing the learning motivation of students in biological biology in basic biology courses. This research was conducted by giving questionnaires or questionnaires online to respondents (students of biology class 1 biology class of 2019). The type of questionnaire used in this study was a closed questionnaire, where respondents answered questions that had been provided. Based on the results of study that by applying the mind mapping method in studying basic biology students find it easier to remember the material that has been delivered. In addition, for them by applying this method the material becomes easier to understand and effective for learning activities. So, it can be concluded that in this study the mind mapping method can increase student motivation in basic biology courses.Keywords: Motivation to learn, Mind mapping, Basic biology.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh metode peta pikirandalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa tadris biologi pada mata kuliah biologi dasar.Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara pemberian kuesioner atau angket secara online kepada responden (mahasiswa tadris biologi kelas biologi 1 angkatan 2019 IAIN Jember). Jenis angket yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket tertutup, yang mana responden menjawab pertanyaan yang telah disediakan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa dengan menerapkan metode peta pikiran dalam mempelajari biologi dasar mahasiswa merasa lebih mudah mengingat materi yang telah disampaikan. Selain itu, bagi mereka dengan menerapkan metode ini materi menjadi lebih mudah dipahami dan efektif untuk kegiatan belajar. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada penelitian ini metode peta pikiran dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah biologi dasar.Kata kunci: Motivasi belajar,Peta pikiran, Biologi dasar.

This study aims to determine the increase of students learning outcomes through learning activities using Mind Mapping method in class XII MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted in July to September 2019. The subject was students of class XII MIPA 1 of SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru, totaling 36 students consist of 17 men and 19 women. This type of research is classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles for six meetings. Each meeting using the Mind Mapping method with consists of identifying the topic, planning the tasks to be studied, carrying out investigations, preparing final reports, presenting final reports, conclusions and evaluations. The research found that the usage of mind mapping method can improve the learning outcomes of class XII MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru. The increasing was seen in the results of the first cycle with an average value of 84.13 and 92.66 in the second cycle. The percentage of students who pass the passing grade increase from 77.77% to 100%. Classroom action research with optimal usage of mind mapping method can improve learning outcomes in economic subject.

In learning, we need a method to enhance the creativity of the students, one of them with Mind Mapping method. This study aims to explain  the application of mind mapping methods to increase creativity in learning Citizenship Education in Class VI Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). This research was conducted using field observation of 25 students. The Research Data collection is based on the results of students learning activities to create a mind map. The results showed that the Mind Mapping method can enhance students' creativity in studying Pancasila and Citizenship Education.  Dalam Pembelajaran, diperlukan sebuah metode untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa, salah satunya dengan metode Mind mapping. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan metode mind mapping untuk meningkatkan kreativitas pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di Kelas VI MI. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan observasi ke lapangan yang dilakukan di kelas VI MI Miftahul Falah dengan jumlah 25 siswa. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui hasil kegiatan belajar dengan membuat sebuah mind mapping. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Mind mapping dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan.

Abstract. This journal discusses the development of variations in teaching in increasing learning motivation. The learning process is an activity that involves an individual (physical and spiritual), learning activities are never carried out without a strong motivation or motivation from within the individual or from outside the individual who participates in learning activities. Therefore, the learning process requires the development and use of variations in teaching to generate student motivation. Variations in teaching include variations in teaching styles, variations in media and materials, and variations in teaching and learning interactions. Motivation has a very important role in learning activities, there is no learning activity without motivation, therefore motivation has a strategic role in achieving the goals or results of learning. This Classroom Action Research was conducted at MI Muhammadiyah 02 Mariyai with the aim of improving student moral learning outcomes through the mind mapping method. The research subjects were grade IV students, amounting to 26 people. Researchers used two cycles, each of which consisted of three meetings. Data retrieval is done using learning outcomes tests and observation sheets. The collected data were analyzed both quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data is calculated using data analysis on Microsoft Excel. The results obtained showed an increase in moral learning outcomes ie from the average score of the initial ability of students 63.85 in the low category, then in the first cycle the average score of student learning outcomes increased to 76.35 in the medium category, and in the cycle, II increased to 86.15 which is in the high category. Increasing the score of student learning outcomes is also directly proportional to mastery learning. In the initial ability score, the number of students who finished learning was 8 people (30.77%), then in the first cycle increased to 16 people (61.54%), and in the second cycle increased again to 24 people (92.31%). Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that an increase in the learning outcomes of the Moral Law in Class IV MI Muhammadiyah 02 Mariyai Students after using the mind mapping method.

Learning is a conscious effort to achieve a learning goal. In the latest educational paradigm, the purpose of learning is no longer just to change the behavior of students, but rather to form a professional character and psychological attitudes in all aspects. To achieve this goal requires a motivation. Motivation to learn contained in a person has a very important role in achieving a goal, because motivation can make someone have a strong urge to do something. In this case, the teacher has a significant role in fostering student motivation to achieve learning goals and the needs of the changing times as well as demands for a change in the learning paradigm. Therefore, this article aims to understand the meaning of the learning paradigm and the importance of fostering student motivation in learning activities.

Abstract : The aim to be achieved in this study is to improve the ability to write description text by using the Mind mapping method in students of class VII H Konawe Selatan 1 State Middle School. This study follows a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) design. This research was conducted in two cycles through the steps of planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were students of class VII H Konawe Selatan 1 State Middle School. The object of this research is the role of the Mind mapping method to improve the ability to write description text. Information  was collected by observation and test techniques. Information is analyzed by qualitative and quantitative methods. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the use of the Mind mapping method can improve the learning of writing text description skills of class VII H students of Konawe Selatan 1 State Middle School. This can be seen from the achievement of indicators of success both in terms of processes and results in this study. The average observation of teacher activities and student activities increases in the first cycle and second cycle. In terms of classical completeness results in the first cycle of 54.55% and in the second cycle the percentage of classical completeness was 86.36%.  Keywords: Ability, Mind Mapping method, writing description teks.

This study seeks to find information related to the methods used in an effort to improve student achievement outcomes in online learning for civic education subjects at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah or Elementary Schools. In finding the information needed, researchers use a type of literature study research. Researchers reviewed several previous studies based on theories that were relevant to the problems found. The information obtained is then analyzed by referring to Miles and Hubberman where the information obtained is collected, processed and summarized. From the results of the analysis, it was found that using the mind mapping method and the STAD type cooperative model could improve learning outcomes as well as student creativity in Citizenship Education learning. Mind mapping can make it easier for students to understand a lesson that is recorded creatively, effectively, and efficiently in mapping their thoughts. This method really helps the learning process for Civics subjects, especially the Civics learning model is closely related to increasing children's creativity. Meanwhile, STAD should be grouped not randomly but according to the zoning of their respective houses. So that the presence or absence of a pandemic does not really affect learning with these methods.   [Penelitian ini berupaya mencari informasi terkait metode yang digunakan dalam upaya meningkatkan hasil prestasi siswa pembelajaran daring untuk mata pelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah atau Sekolah Dasar. Dalam mencari informasi yang dibutuhkan, peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian studi kepustakaan. Peneliti mengkaji dari beberapa penelitian terdahulu berdasarkan teori yang relevan dengan permasalahan yang ditemukan. Informasi didapat tersebut kemudian dianalisis dengan mengacu kepada Miles dan Hubberman dimana infomasi yang didapat dikumpulkan, diolah, dan disimpulkan. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa dengan menggunakan metode mind mapping dan model kooperatif tipe STAD bisa meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran sekaligus kreativitas siswa pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Dengan mind mapping dapat mempermudah pemahaman peserta didik dalam suatu pembelajaran yang dicatat dengan kreatif, efektif, dan efisien dalam memetakan pikiran-pikirannya. Metode ini sangat membantu proses pembelajaran untuk mata pelajaran PKn, apalagi model pembelajaran PKn erat kaitannya dengan peningkatan kreativitas anak. Sementara untuk STAD hendaknya dikelompokan tidak secara acak namun sesuai zonasi rumahnya masing-masing. Sehingga ada ataupun tidak adanya pandemi, tidak terlalu mempengaruhi pembelajaran yang dilakukan]

One of the successness of learning is difined by the method which being utilized in learning process. Many learning methods are being developed by the education experts in case to encourage the successness learning, one of them is the Mind Mapping method. Mind Mapping could be said to be relatively new learning method.Mind Mapping method in education is a way of serving and delivery learning materials which teacher give the opportunities to the students whether individually or in a group to conduct the scientif talk in terms of collecting views, and make the conclusion or arrange any alternative problem solving, Mind Mapping is a way learning serving, where students are faced to any problem. (Problem solving). This study found that there is an influence of Mind Mapping learning method in increasing students learning achievements in the subjects of human governance and protocol for XII grade at SMK Daarul Fataa Bojonggede, Bogor. To strengthen this study, researcher conducted instrument testing , where the instrument testing showed there is a significant influence in utilizing mind mapping learning method in increasing student learning achievement in the subjects of human governance and protocol.
