This study aims to analyze how competence, compensation and work motivation jointly affect the performance of KPU employees in Banyuasin Regency. The General Election of Banyuasin Regency used quantitative methods, using a saturated sampling sample in the study of 20 employees. In this study, the types of data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. Hypothesis testing through t test and F test using SPSS analysis tools. The results of data processing using SPSS 20, using the t test that t counts 4,330> t table 2.003 There is an influence of competence on performance; that t count 4.181> t table 2.003 positive and significant effect of compensation on performance; t count 4.469> t table 2.003 there is a positive and significant influence of motivation on performance; and F count 34.356> F table 4.883 and a significance level of 0.00 <0.05, that there is a positive and significant effect on the competency, compensation and motivation patterns together on performance, with a determination coefficient of 77.5%, the rest is influenced by other variables. The conclusion of the research is that competence, compensation and motivation have a positive and significant effect on performance either partially or simultaneously. Strategies to improve employee performance at the KPU Banyuasin Regency can be done by first increasing employee motivation to increase broad knowledge of knowledge in supporting work implementation, then increase. competence to be consistent in having a good attitude with colleagues.

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style on employee performance with work motivation as an intervening variable in the Indonesian Export Financing Institution at the Makassar Regional Office. The population of this study were all employees of the Indonesian Export Financing Institution. The number of samples taken in this study were 50 respondents. The sampling method used in this study is the probability sampling method. Data collection in this study is to use archive strategies namely primary data and secondary data. Data were analyzed using multicollinearity and Path Analysis. The results of this study indicate that leadership style has a significant effect on work motivation. Leadership style also has a significant effect on employee performance. Work motivation significantly influences employee performance. Leadership style has a significant effect on employee performance through work motivation.

Employee performance is one of the determinant factors for the achievement of organizational performance. Therefore, improving employee performance is an important issue that must be considered. Many factors can affect employee performance, such as: leadership and motivation. Based on the existing issues in the Directorate of Administration and Finance Ministry Genderal Estatal East Timor, this study examines three variables, namely: leadership, motivation, and performance of employees. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership on motivation and performance of employees in the Directorate of Administration and Finance Ministry Genderal Estatal East Timor. The population in this study were all employees of the Directorate of Administration and Finance Ministry Genderal Estatal Timorese by the number of employees as many as 152 people, while the sample is 110 by using a sampling technique proportionate stratified random sampling. The data used are primary data and secondary data with the questionnaire data collection methods. The analysis tool is used path analysis. The results obtained in this study are positive and significant effect of leadership on the motivation, meaning that if the leadership is getting better, then the increased work motivation. Motivation has a positive and significant impact on the performance of employees, meaning that if the motivation is getting better, then the performance of employees is increasing. Leadership has a positive and significant impact on the performance of employees, meaning that if the leadership is getting better, then the performance of employees is increasing. Therefore, in the future to improve the performance of employees, the Directorate of Administration and Finance Ministry Genderal Estatal Timorese leadership should develop in order to get better and improve employee motivation.

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership and work discipline partially, and the effect of leadership and work discipline simultaneously on employee performance at Dinas Pendidikan Kota Banjarmasin.This research uses quantitative methods. The data used in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. The population of this research is the employees of Dinas Pendidikan Kota Banjarmasin, amounting to 102 people. Sampling uses probability sampling. The technique of data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 51 respondents from Dinas Pendidikan Kota Banjarmasin employees who were obtained using the Slovin formula. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression to determine the effect of leadership and work discipline on performance in Dinas Pendidikan Kota Banjarmasin using Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) version 21.00 for windows.The results of the study concluded that the leadership and work discipline variables partially affect the performance of employees at the Banjarmasin City Education Office. The results of the study concluded that the variables of leadership and work discipline simultaneously affect the performance of employees at Dinas Pendidikan Kota Banjarmasin.

This study aims to determine and explain: the description of the role of leadership styles at University of Sumatera Utara through motivating the application of Kaizen culture to employee performance. The type of research used in this research is an explanatory research using quantitative methods. The variables in this study are: leadership style and improvement culture as independent variables, work motivation as the mediating variable, and employee performance as the dependent variable. This research uses primary data in the form of responses to the questionnaire, as well as secondary data obtained through documents. The data analysis method used is path analysis. The results of path analysis show that: leadership style variables have a positive and significant impact on employee performance, Leadership style variables have a positive and significant impact on motivation, Kaizen cultural variables have a positive and significant impact on employee performance, Kaizen cultural variables have a positive and significant impact on motivation, and motivation variables have significant effects on employee performance. Influence; the leadership style variables have a positive and significant impact on employee performance through motivation; the improvement of culture has a positive and significant impact on employee performance through motivation.  This study aims to determine whether there is a partial influence of work environment and motivation on the performance of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta Household Employees. To find out the influence of work environment and work motivation simultaneously on the performance of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta Household Employees.      The nature of this research is correlational. The variables of this study are the work environment and work motivation and employee performance. The population in this study were all Household Employees at the University of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta with a population of 37, a population of less than 100, so that all populations were sampled by the census method. The data collection method uses a questionnaire. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with a significance level of 5%.       The results obtained by the work environment has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of the Household Section of the Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta University. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of the Household Section of the Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University in Yogyakarta. Employee performance is influenced by the work environment and work motivation by 29.3%, while the remaining 70.7% is influenced by other factors.

Main hazard for the coal mining workers is chemical dust that will cause declining of lung function with chronic exposure. PT. X experienced elevated trend of decline lung function of its worker within the past three years (2013–2015 i.e., 15.8%, 18.3%, and 21.9%). November 2015, PT. X stipulated new policy to its field workers that oblige them to use PPE mask of N series type 8211. Using cross sectional design with 300 people chosen by convinient sampling; primary data collection was conducted via interview and filling questionnaire, and secondary data collection was compiled from PT. X’s MCU reports of 2015 and 2016 and HRD-HSE monthly reports. As much as 82% of workers are comply to use PPE. There are statistically significant relation between work motivation (p 0.02, ORa 4.80, 95% CI 1.22; 18.86), PPE knowledge (p < 0.01, ORa 353.77, 95% CI 59.93; 2088.25), PPE comfortability (p < 0.01, ORa 61.64, 95% CI 5.99; 634.13), reward/punishment (p < 0.01), and supervision (p < 0.01, ORa 0.08, 95% CI 0.01; 0.43) with workers’ compliance of PPE mask of N series type 8211. There are three people experienced declining of lung function within a year. PT. X was advised to continue its policy.

This study aims to determine how the effect of perceived organisational support and employee engagement on the performance of employees. This study uses quantitative research with a population of employees at UD. Zacyndo safety shoe factory in Tuban and Mojokerto regency. This study using a sample of 45 employees. Data collection techniques were carried out by collecting primary data through the distribution of online questionnaires and using secondary data collection through documentation of organisational activities/events and other written sources of information as writing reference materials. Data were analysed using multiple regression through SPSS version 24. The result showed that perceived organisational support had a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance, employee engagement had a significant and positive effect on employee performance, and perceived organisational support and employee engagement had a positive and significant effect on employee engagement. UD. Zacyndo may improve POS better by paying attention to employee welfare to produce maximum performance. In addition, improve strong relationships with each employee may help the organisation to achieve the intended goals.

The purpose of this study is: 1) to find out and analyze how the implementation of employee performance appraisal at the Bina Mandiri Gorontalo Foundation; 2) to find out what factors are hampering the implementation of employee performance appraisal at the Bina Mandiri Gorontalo Foundation. This research uses a qualitative approach and the type of research used is descriptive qualitative. Data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The result of the research shows that the implementation of employee performance appraisal at the Bina Mandiri Gorontalo Foundation based on 7 (seven) performance evaluation indicators can be said to be not yet fully appropriate. Three categorized indicators are by performance appraisal, namely obedience, honesty, and cooperation. Meanwhile, the indicators of leadership, responsibility, and achievement are not appropriate because in the performance evaluation that indicators still less influential. And, the initiative is categorized as inappropriate because in the performance evaluation it does not become a benchmark in performance appraisal. The factors that hampered the implementation of performance appraisal at the Bina Mandiri Gorontalo Foundation were seen from seven factors. Based on the results of the research five factors hinder the performance evaluation, are lack of objectivity, halo effect, Leniency, Strictness, and Personal Prejudices. While the other two factors, i.e. Central Tendency and Recent Behavior Bias is inappropriate because these two factors did not hamper the implementation of performance appraisal at the Bina Mandiri Gorontalo Foundation.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Competence and  Organizational Trust on Employee Performance BLUD UPTD Inpatient Health Center Unit of Kebumen District Through Work Motivation. Data collection is done by questionnaire using saturated sample method. Respondents in this study were Non Civil Servants BLUD Employees in 8 Inpatient Health Centers who had worked over 1 year totaling 74 people.  The variables in this study are Competence, Organizational Trust in Performance through Work Motivation. The sampling technique used is the Non Probability Sampling technique. So the selection of sample members taking into account the conditions that have been set.  The data used in this study are primary data and secondary  data. The results of this study indicate that the Competency variable has a positive and significant effect on Work Motivation. Organizational Trust has a positive and significant effect on  Work Motivation. Competence has a positive and not significanteffect on Performance. Organizational Trust has a positive and significant effect on Performance. Work Motivation has a positive and significant effect  on Performance.

This study aims to know and analyze the influence of Promotion and Position Mutation on Job Performance Employees in the District Court Sigli. Where the independent variables of Promotion, Job Mutation and Job Performance (Y) as dependen. The Population variable in this research is all employees of the District Court Sigli 45 employees . The entire population in the study were sampled in the study of 45 employees. Data collected in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data, both qualitative data and quantitative data and through questionnaires filled by respondents. Then the data obtained were analyzed by using multiple regression analysis . This analysis includes Normality Test, Multicolinearity Test, Heterokedasticity Test of Classic Assumption, Hypothesis Testing through F Test and T Test, and Determination Coefficient Analysis (R²). Based on the result of research, we get regression equation: Y = 1,171 + 0,358 X1 + 0,388 X2. The result of the above analysis can be concluded based on t test known that Positive Promotion Variables positively and significantly influence on employee performance at Sigli District Court. This is seen from the significant value (0,000) smaller than 0.05 and the value of thitung4.032> ttabel 1.682. Position Mutation variables positively and significantly influence on Employee Performance at Sigli District Court. This can be seen from the significant value (0.000) smaller than 0.05 and the value of tcount4.584> ttable1,682. Based on the calculation of the coefficient of determination (R2), indicating that the Adjusted R2 or the determinant of 0.715 means that 71.5% of Employee Performance factors can be explained by Position Promotion (X1) and Position Mutation (X2), while the remaining 28.5% can be explained by other factors not examined in this study.
