effective learning materials, such as media-based materials could deliver and disseminate messages from various sources in a planned way to create a conducive learning environment. This can make learning process efficient and effective. The main focus of this study is the fine art context which is the main element in the world of art towards motivation to learn among student technical and vocational education (TVET). In the meantime, some students often lack understanding in subjects that require higher understanding. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to know how the fine art context could increase the motivation to learn by incorporating multimedia elements in teaching and learning materials for students in technical and vocational colleges (CV). In this research, the focusing location in the south country. This study was conducted on 273 students in (CV) Kluang, Johor as are a sample in research. It is believed that learning using multimedia is very important and can affect students in motivation and teachers could easily modify the lessons to obtain learning objectives. Moreover, this study focuses on the use of multimedia-based materials for evaluation where the materials are also equipped with a material level grading chart for each student being tested. At this stage, the students were tested based on their understanding after instruction using the materials. It used the quantitative approach and data were collected by distributing survey questionnaires to respondents. The outcome of this study has shown that the inclusion of fine arts context in multimedia affects the motivation to learn among the students.

The purpose of this research is to know how to incerease the students’ learning achievement that has been applied learning contextual task-based learning model and to know the influence of contextual learning in  the task-based teaching model to improve achievemen and motivation to learn the material pe civis lesson.   This research is an action research by theree rounds. Each round consists of four phases. Design activities are observation, and revesion. The subject of the research is XI grade students of Bina Informatika Ternate accademic year 2015/2016. Data obtained in the form of a formative test results, observation sheet teaching and learning activities. The results of the research showed that students’ achivement increased from round I to III that the round 1, (70.00 % ), (92,50 %)  3 cycles, conclusions of this research is the method of cooperatif learning can be a positive influence on students motivation and achievement in material udaya politics in Indonesia. It means that this model can be used as one of the alternative learning for Pkn.            Kata  kunci: PKn, cooperative learning method

It is obvious that the textbooks play a key role in enhancing the quality of teaching and learning. The good quality textbooks must meet the criteria or standard as a textbook. This paper aims to describe the accuracy of materials provided in the Bahasa Indonesia textbook for the first grade of Senior High School curriculum of 2013. This study adopted the content analysis method to analyze the data. The findings deriving from this study reveal that the accuracy of learning material provided in Bahasa Indonesia textbook for the first grade of Senior High School (Sekolah Menengah Atas) curriculum of 2013 published by Erlangga has adequately met the standard requirements of Board of National Education Standards (Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan, BSNP) for the accuracy of learning material of a textbook. However, this study found some weaknesses in the textbook as follows: (1) The textbook has not provided a ‘Competency Map’ containing principles used by students to achieve their learning goals and understand the learning materials provided in each chapter in order that the materials delivered can be well-structured. (2) The examples provided in the textbook are less relevant to the characteristics of diverse backgrounds and social statuses; contain the issues of ethnicity, religion, race, intergroup relations; and do not suit the needs.   Keywords: Curriculum of 2013, The accuracy of learning materials, Textbooks.

With regard to content about the Japanese occupation in history lectures in universities, most of the available material is in textual form, especially in history textbooks. Meanwhile, there is an abundance of archival videos available about this topic that could be used as media or learning materials in classroom learning. This research aims to offer some ideas in using the propaganda films produced during the Japanese occupation as alternative learning material. By doing so, resources learners are expected to realize the teaching and learning process to be varied, fun, easy to understand, able to stimulate imagination, share events that previously abstract in a short time and can bring learners through space and time indirectly because the film media in accordance with the material, needs and objectives proses teaching and learning.

In today's scenario, e-learning has become a significant part of the academic environment as well as of the corporate training sectors. Advancement in Information and Communication Technologies (ICTS) has brought new intersection of education, teaching, and learning that defines e-learning. E-learning systems deliver information for education at any time and at any place in an efficient manner. E-learning system consists of course content or learning materials in the form of nodes. These nodes are linked such that users can traverse the other nodes in the hypermedia environment. These learning concepts are available synchronously and asynchronously in different ways of representation. This presents learning materials in a disorganized manner to the learners. Due to this, learners may decline to adapt the learning material or may deviate from their goals. This requires a user model to respond to different needs of a learner. To handle the uncertainty of learner's mind while learning the concepts an intuitionistic fuzzy approach is used.

Development of learning materials is one of subjects in the Department of Elementary School Teacher Education of Universitas Veteran Bangun Nusantara Sukoharjo. This research aims to develop learning materials based on the value of local heroic struggle in Sukoharjo. This research is done using Plomb development model; the steps are: 1) preliminary investigation; 2) design; 3) realization/construction; 4) test, evaluation, revision, and; 5) implementation. Preliminary investigation consists of literature review, field survey and product drafting. Literature review was carried out by analyzing documents, from teaching plans, and subject books used by the lecturer. Field survey was carried out through observation in all colleges in Surakarta. The survey is conducted to obtain the information of learning materials used for teaching, learning strategies, and essence of local heroism. The learning material development aims to determine the expectation of lecturers in teaching and learning subject. Data were obtained by questionnaire, interview, documents, and group discussion. Data obtained from questionnaire were analyzed with the percentage and the other data were analyzed using qualitative, descriptive technique. Survey shows that: 1) most of the lecturers use proper learning materials; 2) strategies to maximize lecturers productivity drafting learning materials are through discussion, workshop, and practice of learning materials drafting; 3) the researcher expects that the books of this development boost the learning motivation of the students in the Department of Elementary School Teacher Education.

Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat pada tradisi motong munggel, baik itu masyarakat Kabupaten Tasikmalaya secara khusus ataupun masyarakat Jawa Barat secara umumnya. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai (1) sejarah tradisi motong munggel, (2) langkah-langkah dalam tradisi motong munggel, (3) unsur semiotik dalam tradisi motong munggel, dan (4) bahan ajar membaca artikel tradisi motong munggel. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif desktiptif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pedoman wawancara dan kartu data. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah; pertama, sejarah mengenai tradisi motong munggel, dimana tradisi ini mulai dilaksanakan di Desa Jayamukti kurang lebih sejak tahun 1989; kedua, adanya langkah-langkah dalam tradisi motong munggel terdiri dari tiga bagian yaitu langkah-langkah sebelum, langkah-langkah saat berlangsung, dan langkah-langkah setelah berlangsungnya tradisi motong munggel; ketiga, tanda yang ditemukan dalam tradisi motong munggel berjumlah 23 tanda, yang terdiri atas 14 ikon, indeks sebanyak 6 , dan simbol sebanyak 3; keempat, hasil dari penelitian ini bisa dijadikan sebagai bahan pembelajaran membaca artikel budaya di SMA kelas XII. Tradisi motong munggel merupakan suatu tradisi yang harus dilestarikan. Selain dari memiliki tujuan, nilai-nilai dan tanda-tanda yang memiliki makna bagi kehidupanpun dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan pembelajaran membaca artikel di SMA kelas XII.AbstractThe background of this study was the lack of knowledge on Motong Munggel tradition of Tasikmalaya people in particular and West Java people in general. The purpose of this study was to describe all aspects of Motong Munggel tradition include; (1) the history, (2) the steps (3) the semiotic elements, and (4) reading article teaching and learning materials. The method used in this research was the descriptive qualitative method with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The instruments used in this study were interview guidelines and data cards. The results of this study are as it follows: first, the history revealed that tradition of Motong Munggel began to be practiced in Jayamukti village since 1989; second, the steps in the Motong Munggel tradition consist of three parts, i.e. the preceding steps, in progress step, and the steps after Motong Munggel performed; third, there were 23 signs found consisted of 14 icons, six indexes, and three symbols; fourth, the results of this study can be used as teaching and learning material for cultural article reading of Grade XII Senior High School students. Motong Munggel is a tradition that has to be preserved. Besides it has meaningful goals, values and signs that have for people life it can also be used as teaching and learning material.

This study aims to determine the learning methods used in elementary schools. The learning method used must be adapted to the learning material and learning media that will be used in the teaching and learning process. With the learning method, it is expected that the teaching and learning process can be carried out well so that it can improve the quality and quantity of students in the future. Effective learning methods can facilitate the implementation of the learning process and facilitate students in absorbing the material conveyed by the instructor.

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran model belajar siswa aktif dengan pendekatan ALSAK bagi siswa SD. Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari silabus, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), dan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS). Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran dalam penelitian ini mengadopsi pada model pengembangan Borg & Gall. Penelitian pengembangan ini dilakukan dalam empat langkah utama. Pada langkah studi pendahuluan diperoleh informasi bahwa perangkat pembelajaran model yang mengkaitkan Alquran dengan bidang kajian dibutuhkan oleh guru untuk mendukung tujuan kurikulum 2013. Hasil pada tahap analisis kurikulum yaitu ditemukan integrasi ayat alqur’an Qs Al-Anbiya: 33, Qs Yunus: 5-6, Q.S Al-Anbiya: 33,  Qs An-Nur: 45, Qs Al-A’raf: 57, Qs An-Nur: 45, Qs Al-An‘am:  38, Q.S  Al-An‘am: 38, Qs Arrum: 41, Qs Al-A’raf : 56. Hasil penilaian validator menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan memiliki kategori baik dan angka “A”. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran dengan model ini layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran bagi siswa SD Kata kunci: Pengembangan, Perangkat Pembelajaran, Model Belajar Aktif, Pendekatan ALSAK   DEVELOPING THE LEARNING MATERIALS BASED ON ACTIVE STUDENTS LEARNING MODEL THROUGH AL-QURAN, SCIENCE, AND CHARACTER APPROACH (ALSAK) FOR ELEMENTARY STUDENT  Abstract This research aims to develop learning materials based on active students learning model through Al-Quran, Science, and Character Approach (ALSAK) for elementary student. The learning materials in this research consist of syllabi, lesson plans, and students’ worksheets. The research model and development used the Borg and Gall development model. The result of preliminary study found that the learning model connecting the Al-Quran to learning material was needed to the teachers to support the purpose of the 2013 curriculum. The result of curriculum analysis found that Alquran verses integration of Al-Anbiya: 33, Yunus:5-6, Al-Anbiya:33,  An-Nur: 45, Al-A’raf : 57, An-Nur: 45, Al -An ‘am: 38, Al-An ‘am: 38, Arrum: 41, Al-A’raf :56. The result of validation the assessments shown that the learning material developed has a good category and the predicate was “A”. It can conclude that the learning materials appropriate can implement to teaching and learning for elementary students. This research is aiming at  1) to know the existing phenomena of teaching and learning reading material of  English for Nursery Purposes, 2)  to  find out kinds  of reading materials of English for Nursery Purposes are needed by the students at STIKES Sari Mutiara,  and 3)  to find  out a task-based learning reading materials of English for Nursery Purposes design.  The research method used is research and development (R&D). The sources of the data are the students, the alumni, and the stakeholders whereas The targeted clients are the students of semester IV STKIES Sari Mutiara Medan. The instrument for collecting data are questionairre, documentation, and in depht interview. The data are analyzed by descriptive analysis.The results show  that 1) in general the teaching learning is not optimal yet, particularly the learning materials are not relevant to the students and stakeholders’ need even the adequacy and availability are relatively adequate and available. 2)  The students’ need in line with teaching learning reading is oriented in a student center learning, task activities, authentic reading materials, and strucutured essay test. and 3) the physical structure of learning materials consists of the following sections that is Preview, Getting Started, Orientation, Assessment, Related vocabulary Usages.
