This paper develops an understanding of how shared leadership emerges in social network interactions. On the basis of a qualitative research design (grounded theory methodology – GTM) our study in two interorganizational networks offers insights into the interplay between structures, individuals, and the collective for the emergence of shared network leadership (SNL). The network-specific Gestalt of SNL appears as a pattern of collective and individual leadership activities unified under the roof of a highly developed learning conversation. More importantly, our findings support the idea that individual network leadership would not emerge without embeddedness in certain high-quality collective processes of relating and dialogue. Both theoretical and practical implications of this original network leadership perspective are discussed.

For years, achievements and discoveries made by researcher are made aware through research papers published in appropriate journals or conferences. Many a time, established s researcher and mainly new user are caught up in the predicament of choosing an appropriate conference to get their work all the time. Every scienti?c conference and journal is inclined towards a particular ?eld of research and there is a extensive group of them for any particular ?eld. Choosing an appropriate venue is needed as it helps in reaching out to the right listener and also to further one’s chance of getting their paper published. In this work, we address the problem of recommending appropriate conferences to the authors to increase their chances of receipt. We present three di?erent approaches for the same involving the use of social network of the authors and the content of the paper in the settings of dimensionality reduction and topic modelling. In all these approaches, we apply Correspondence Analysis (CA) to obtain appropriate relationships between the entities in question, such as conferences and papers. Our models show hopeful results when compared with existing methods such as content-based ?ltering, collaborative ?ltering and hybrid ?ltering.

This article demonstrates how unemployment is made productive through workfare activities for older disadvantaged job seekers. We suggest that the requirement to look for work, engage in education and training, and participate in voluntary work blurs the boundaries between employment and unemployment. Drawing on in-depth qualitative research with older disadvantaged job seekers, we demonstrate how this obligatory productivity is lived and felt, characterised by shame and frustration and framed by the temporality of waiting and searching for work. We suggest that this experience of ‘productive’ unemployment can be described as a dissonant state of ‘transitional stasis’, whereby job seekers are expected to transition out of unemployment and poverty while experiencing the long-term and ongoing effects of immobility.

Customer cognitive legitimacy is an important factor in a new business venture’s survival. Based on an extensive literature review of customer cognitive legitimacy, this book examines the consistent conceptualisation of the concept and its dimensional structure. This consistent conceptualisation facilitates the development of the reliable and valid three-dimensional customer cognitive legitimacy scale in 10 studies. The scale is based on potential customers’ interest in acquiring knowledge about a product and the company responsible for it, their perception of the company’s and the product’s future, and their perception of how competent the company’s managers are.

The purpose of this research paper is to underline a few of the problematic articles of the Criminal Act in Korea and suggest possible solutions. In the Republic of Korea, three criminal elements—Applicability of Constituent Requirements, Criminal Defences, and the Principle of Responsibility—must be proven to convict a defendant. When a perpetrator does not meet all three criminal elements, they are protected by particular articles of the Criminal Act such as Articles 9, 10, and 26. These articles guarantee citizens' right to decide their own actions accordingly and provide an opportunity for improvement by reducing the punishment. All three articles of the Criminal Act reflect positive intentions embedded in the law. However, the articles' flaws have begun to cause the perpetrators to exploit the law and disdain Korea's Criminal Act. Thus, this paper aims to consider the Criminal Act's malfunctions, especially within Article 9, 10, and 26, and suggest possible solutions to improve its shortages.
