scholarly journals Impact of Economic Empowerment on Job Satisfaction among Employees of Garment Companies in Bangalore City

Empowerment of employees and Job satisfaction has been always an interesting area for research. Empowerment ensures that employees are highly motivated towards their job and get the benefit of their performance. When employees are financially stressed, it affects their job performance and productivity and even leads to employee turnover. The present study finds that the noteworthy positive impact of economic empowerment on job satisfaction of employees working in Garments company in the city of Bangalore. The study population was employees working in Garments company in the city of Bangalore. A convenience sampling method was applied to select the sample size of 166 employees for the research. Primary data was collected from the 166 employees working in different Garment companies. Different statistical techniques such as Descriptive analysis, Reliability analysis, Correlation analysis and Regression analysis were used to interpret the data.

This study aims to determine the perception of consumers of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) gas in Bima City. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. In this study the data used are primary data obtained from consumer LPG user questionnaires in the Bima City. Data were analyzed using univariable one-sample t-test analysis. The instrument was obtained from a questionnaire (questionnaire) that would be distributed and answered by LPG consumer users in the form of Likert scale questions. The population in this study is LPG consumer consumers in the City of Bima. The sample used is calculated using the formula Unknown Populations and the number of samples obtained is 96 consumers. As for the sampling technique using the accidental sampling method. After processing data using several statistical tools such as average values and descriptive analysis, the results of this study are the perceptions of LPG users who on average give good answers. LPG users state that the use of gas is more profitable than kerosene, in terms of cost being more economical, the cooking process is also faster and cleaner and there is no compulsion and receiving gas as a substitute for kerosene.

India’s pharmaceutical market accounts for about 1.4 percent of the global pharmaceutical industry in value terms and 10 percent in volume terms. Sun Pharma is a leading and India’s top pharmaceutical company. The following study tries to study the job satisfaction of employees of Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd with reference to Sikkim state and to identify the factors which influence the job satisfaction of employees. The study relies on primary data collected from employees of Sun Pharma, Sikkim with the help of well-designed questionnaire. Total sample size is of 120 respondents using convenience sampling method. The first part of the questionnaire consists of questions related to personal information on age, gender, qualification, marital status, duration of work and department. The second part of questionnaire consists of thirty-six statements which are evenly distributed in points and Five Point Likert Scale has been applied for the same. After collection of primary data, it has been entered in SPSS 18.0 for statistical analyses. The study has used simple percentage and averages for the simple probing into the topic. Factor analysis has been used to determine the 14 variables. Various test like Independent T-test, One-way ANOVA were used to test the job satisfaction of respondents and to meet the objective of the study. The study revealed that there is not much difference among the job satisfaction of employees in Sun Pharma.

The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of budget planning, human resource competence, organizational motivation towards budgets in the regional organizations of the city of Pekanbaru. The research method used is a quantitative re`search method with primary data obtained from questionnaire data measured using a Likert scale. The study population was all Regional  Organizations in the Government of Pekanbaru. This sample researchers are the chief of regional organizations, Chief of Subdivision and treasurer of expenditure at 43 regional organizations in Pekanbaru City selected using purposive sampling method. Data collection was carried out through a survey using a questionnaire that was distributed to respondents. This research uses multiple linear analysis method with SPSS version 22. The results of this study indicate that budget planning, human resource competencies, motivation, and organizational commitment affect budget absorption in Pekanbaru City Government

This research aimed to find out the influence of different demographic characteristics of beef cattle farmers on adoption of concentrate and UMMB (Urea Mineral Molasses Block) technology. The method employed was a descriptive quantitative with survey technique conducted on beef cattle farmers. The sample was selected using convenience sampling method, with 65 beef cattle farmers as the sample. The primary data was obtained from questionnaire and interview with 65 beef cattle farmers. The secondary data was obtained from Karanganyar Regency’s Central Statistic Agency. The data analysis employed included descriptive analysis, validity, reliability, and Oneway ANOVA tests. The results showed that the different demographic characteristics of beef cattle farmers (age, education, main job, job duration, breeding business status and cattle number owned) influence the adoption of concentrate and UMMB technology. The conclusion of research was that the demographic characteristics of beef cattle farmers showed different effects on the adoption of concentrate and UMMB technology.

This study aims to describe the perception of consumers towards the implementation of the principle of 5C in loans of business credit (KUR) by Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tombatu Unit. Customer perception is the process of customers in selecting; managing and interpreting information received and furthermore will response to that information. 5C Principle are Character, Capacity, Capital, Condition, and Collateral. This study was conducted from March to June 2016. The implementation of research at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Tombatu Unit Southeast Minahasa Regency. The data used is primary data that interviewing the relevant customer and other customers using questionnaires, and secondary data obtained by dochmenting the data written by the BRI Tombatu Unit. The sampling method was convenience sampling method, where researchers have the freedom to choose any consumer who met as a sample. The number of respondents in this study was 75 respondents, namely the debtor / BRI customers Tombatu Unit. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis and Likert scale to describe the perception of consumers towards the implementation of the principle of 5C in lending business credit (KUR) by Bank Rakyat Indonesia. The research results showed that the perception of consumers towards the implementation of the principle of 5C is good with a good interpretation that is 77.68% and that means customers lonsider application of the 5C principle to all customers is good, because then the loan funds can be returned, and on one side of the BRI as lender / credit will be able to advance its business and other side, BRI customers can apply for a loan back to a time in the future.

The number of SMEs and amount of processed fish products in the city of Bogor is potential for the development of fish processing SMEs. SMEs need employees who are satisfied with their job and engaged with their work to maximize the development of their potential. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of competence and compensation on the job satisfaction and work engagement of employees of fish processing SMEs in Bogor. The sampling method used was a non-probability sampling technique, namely the census technique. The data processing and analysis methods were validity and reliability testing using SPSS, descriptive analysis, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS. The descriptive analysis results showed the perceptions of employees towards competence, compensation, job satisfaction and work engagement.The SEM results show that job satisfaction was affected by competence and compensation. Work engagement was affected by competence and job satisfaction but it was not affected by compensation.

Various things are done by companies to provide job satisfaction to their employees, one of which is a career path in the company, but not all positions can reach career paths in the company, there are several positions that experience career plates. This study aims to determine the impact of career plateau on job satisfaction of minimarket outlet employees in the city of Palembang. This study uses the independent variable Career Plateau (X), and Job Satisfaction (Y). The data used in this study are primary data. Data collection in this study used a questionnaire method distributed to 150 employees of minimarket outlets in the city of Palembang with a purposive sampling method. While the analysis is done by processing data using SPSS 19.0 for windows. The results of this study indicate that the independent variable Career Plateau (X) has an influence on Job Satisfaction (Y) employees of minimarket outlets in Palembang.

A field survey was conducted during 2016 to estimate the profitability of normal season and off-season muskmelon cultivation in district Sialkot, Pakistan. The primary data was collected from forty farmers with convenience sampling method. Economic parameters like net return and BCR were employed. Off-season muskmelon cultivation was found economically feasible due to additions of yield (17%), gross income (122%), profit (161%) and market price (90%) in comparison to normal season crop. Therefore, it is recommended to cultivate the off-season muskmelon (BCR 3.26) to obtain more profit and fulfill the customer demand in less supply period instead of normal season cultivation (BCR 2.44).

Tax Revenue is one of the most important sources of revenue for making the state expenditure budget (APBN). As a revenue dominant source for APBN derived from tax sector. The main objective of this study is to analyze the effect of tax sanctions and tax service quality on individual tax compliance.   This study focus on individual entrepreneurs tax payer those registered at the Primary Tax Office Tigaraksa (KPP Pratama Tigaraksa) especially in Gading Serpong Tangerang. Samples were selected by convenience sampling method, the data used in this study is primary data.  The results show indicate (1) tax sanction has significantly affect to individual tax compliance, (2) tax service quality has significantly affect to individual tax compliance, (3) tax sanction and tax service quality have significantly affect to  individual tax compliance. The aim of this study was to analize the effects of product quality and service quality on the customer satisfaction. This study took place in the City of Bekasi and objects in this study are all customer who use the Matrass GM-9000. Primary data was obtained from customers of Matrass GM-9000 in Bekasi City through admission filling of questionnaire by using scale of Likert. The respondent of this study was chosen through accidental sampling method, and data analysis method was simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicated that product quality and service quality positively and significant influenced the customer satisfaction
