Transaction Cost Analisys In The Container Terminal in Port of Jambi; Indonesia is an archipelago that requires inter-island connectivity through ports. Jambi is one of the provinces in Indonesia which has a strategic location in the estuary of the Malacca Strait, but the port in the province of Jambi has not been the main choice for business people to carry out the loading and unloading process. In various studies, cost was one of the constraints of business actors in determining the port used for loading and unloading goods. transaction cost analysis was deemed necessary to be able to determine the amount of costs that apply at the port of Jambi so that further analysis can be done to make costs efficient at the port of the province of Jambi. The method in this research used transaction cost analysis. Transaction cost analysis results found that transaction costs are still the highest component with a ratio of 0.78 for domestic vessels and 0.69 for foreign vessels. The high cost of this transaction has resulted in a significant decline in ship visits at the port of Jambi.

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to determine the extent to which idealized influence and inspirational motivation influence job satisfaction among employees in commercial banks in Kenya.Methodology: The study adopted a positivism research philosophy and a descriptive correlation research design. The target population consisted of 10,310 managerial employees in the commercial banks in Kenya. A sample of 424 employees was obtained from the population using stratified random sampling technique. Data was collected using structured questionnaires. A response rate of 82% was obtained. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Inferential statistical methods used to analyze the data were Chi-square, Pearson’s correlation, ANOVA, and multiple linear regressions. The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) tool version 22 was used to analyze the data. Findings: Correlation analysis found that idealized influence, inspirational motivation and job security were positively and significantly correlated to job satisfaction r (346) =.496, p<.05, r (347) =.587, p<.05, r (347) =.697, p<.05 respectively. Multiple linear regression results showed that idealized influence significantly influenced job satisfaction of the employees (R2 = .246, F(1, 97.750) = 112.421, p< .05).Similarly, multiple linear regression results showed that inspirational motivation significantly influenced job satisfaction of the employees (R2 = .344, F(1, 126.302) = 180.980, p < .05).Job security was found to significantly moderate the relationships between idealized influence, inspirational motivation and job satisfaction (R2 = .431, F (3, 44.688) = 86.330, p<.05).Unique contribution to the theory, practice and policy: Previous studies on transformational leadership have focused mainly on transformational leadership and employee performance. The unique contribution of this study is the advancement of transformational leadership theory dimensions – idealized influence and inspirational motivation - and job satisfaction among employees in commercial Banks in Kenya. The current research aims to investigate the effect of transformational leadership on entrepreneurial orientation in Jordanian commercial banks, and whether organizational learning capability mediates the effect of transformational leadership on entrepreneurial orientation. Adopting a quantitative research design, data were collected by means of a questionnaire-based survey of employees in Jordanian commercial banks. Based on 330 usable responses, the results revealed the significant effect of transformational leadership and two of its dimensions (inspirational motivation and intellectual stimulation) on entrepreneurial orientation. Two other dimensions (idealized influence and individualized consideration) did not contribute to entrepreneurial orientation. Additionally, the results showed that transformational leadership has a significant effect on organizational learning capability, and that organizational learning capability in turn affects entrepreneurial orientation. The findings confirm that organizational learning capability fully mediates the effect of transformational leadership on entrepreneurial orientation. A number of recommendations are advanced, the most important of which is that banks should improve and develop managers’ transformational attributes by training them on how to deal with employees in order to increase their entrepreneurial orientation. Banks should also consider improving their learning capability, as this plays a significant role in enhancing and supporting the effect of transformational leadership attributes on entrepreneurial orientation.
