The Indonesian government is set to follow through with the plan for five super-priority tourist destinations. The five super-priority tourist destinations are Lake Toba in North Sumatra, Borobudur Temple in Central Java, Mandalika in West Nusa Tenggara, Labuan Bajo in East Nusa Tenggara, and Likupang in North Sulawesi. Borobudur temple is known as one of the plans for five super-priority tourist destinations. Managed directly by the Badan Otorita Borobudur, it offers various exciting and different facilities from the others. This study aims to find out the communication strategy carried out by the Badan Otorita Borobudur on Borobudur as a super-priority tourist destination. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen collaboration through Penta helix's synergy (business, government, community, academia, and the mass media). This research uses a case study method; data collection is done by interview and observation. This study indicates that Badan Otorita Borobudur implements several collaboration strategies to introduce Borobudur to the public and with support from the community, academia, and the mass media. From this research, it can be seen that the Badan Otorita Borobudur has carried out the stages of their collaboration strategy well, and the message to be conveyed to the public can be received well. For this reason, the collaborative discussion of the Pentahelix model for the development of Borobudur Temple as one of the super-priority tourism destinations is essential to note. Based on the conclusion of joint activities, it can be seen from the impact of tourism management. The existence of Borobudur tourism is felt to have not had a direct effect on the community's welfare around Borobudur Temple.

<p><em>The function of a city is not only for economic development, but also the city tells the story of the collective memory of its citizens who still exist in their past culture. These culture are the city's cultural resources for tourism. One of them is the Kotatua area of Jakarta, there is a Chinatown area, known as Glodok. This study aims to describe how the Glodok Chinatown cultural area was transformed into an urban tourist destination from the 18th century to the present. This area has many historical attractions or historical tourist destinations such as centers of sacred activity (temples / temples, and churches), as well as profane activity centers (markets, roads / alleys, etc.). Therefore the future development must refer to Law No. 11 of 2010 concerning Cultural Heritage that the use of cultural heritage must be based on protection and development not the other way around. So that it is expected that conservation-based tourism in the Glodok Chinatown area can sustain well without any changes which certainly damage the element of authenticity as Chinatown areas in Jakarta and Indonesia in general.</em><em></em></p><p> </p><p>Keyword: <em>Kotatua, Glodok, City, Cultural Heritage, Tourism</em></p>

Towns are tourist destinations because of their material heritage, cultural events as well as a wide range of other attractions. A special role in contemporary tourism development is played by historic towns that offer tourists not only heritage but also combine their genius loci with contemporary human needs. Sandomierz is one of the oldest Polish towns with its origins going back to the early Piast period. The thousand years of its history is visible in a well-preserved urban-architectural complex which has successfully survived both world wars in the 20th c. Today's image of ‘tourist’ Sandomierz is connected with the TV serial of Ojciec Mateusz. The story, set in Sandomierz, has become a tourist attraction as well as an important means of promotion and creating an image of the town as a pleasant and hospitable place. The role of the serial as a factor for tourism development in terms of tourism infrastructure and volume of tourists dates from 2008. Sandomierz offers much else that has created favourable conditions for the development of new forms of tourism.

Disaster is one of the main threats to tourism around the world. There are various kinds of disasters, ranging from terrorist attacks; social, cultural and political issues; disease outbreaks, and natural phenomena (floods, landslides, tsunamis, earthquakes and storms). One of the disasters being experienced by all tourism managers in West Sumatera is earthquakes. Disasters can occur and threaten the sustainability of a tourist attraction. The threat of disaster has an impact on tourist visits, so an effort is needed to prepare tourism managers to deal with it. The tourism industry is an economic activity that is highly dependent on image, when a tourist attraction fails to face a disaster, tourists are reluctant to visit the place. The methods used are interviews, observations, and literature studies that can help answer research questions. The key informants in this study were members of the tourism management in West Sumatra Province. The results showed that each tourist destination has a different threat of disaster from other areas, so the response required by the manager is also different. In the case of the earthquake, the response to the disaster cannot be overcome by all tourist destination managers, all experiencing the same conditions. Developed and developing tourist destinations need the same amount of time to deal with this disaster. The recommendation of this study is the importance of understanding disaster response by all tourist destination managers, so that the required recovery period is not too long, and tourism can return to its normal operation.
