This study aims to describe the level of academic procrastination based on the intensity of the use of social media in Palembang State Middle School 18. The population consisted of 120 students from class VIII with sample selection using a purposive sampling technique so that getting samples for each category in the form of: Light Users (numbered users) totaling 41 students, Medium Users (medium users) totaling 37 students, and Heavy Users 42 students. Research uses a quantitative approach with survey methods. The data collection technique used a closed questionnaire to measure the intensity of social media use as well as sample determination and the Likert scale to measure the tendency of academic procrastination. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative. The results showed that the majority of subjects in the Light Users category were low on academic procrastination with a percentage of 53.7%, the Medium Users category including being on academic procrastination with a percentage of 43.2% and the Heavy Users category including academic procrastination with 45.3% . The results showed that the more often students used social media, the higher the tendency to do academic procrastination.

 Facebook social media is a medium that is used to publish content, such as profiles, activities or even user opinions and also as a medium that provides space for communication and interaction in social networks in cyberspace. Facebook is in great demand by the Indonesian people, from children to adults from remote villages to city centers are familiar with Facebook. The breadth of the network created by Facebook makes its users think to take advantage of it, ranging from positive things to crime. The use of Facebook social media at this time is very diverse, as for the negative impact of Facebook social media that has occurred recently, namely a lot of news in print and electronic media regarding the misuse of Facebook social media, reporting on crimes and crimes that started from introductions on Facebook social media. . The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using Facebook social media on the character of social studies subjects for class VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Metro for the 2019/2020 school year. The number of samples used as many as 55 students with the determination of the sample using stratified random sampling technique. The technique of data collection was done by using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used a simple linear regression analysis technique. Based on the results of the study, regarding the effect of social media facebook on the character of students in social studies subjects for class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Metro, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the use of social media facebook on the character of students in social studies subjects. In the calculation of the coefficient of determination (KD) the value of KD = 42.4% is obtained, which means: the effect of using Facebook social media on the character of students in social studies subjects is 42.4%, while 57.6% is influenced by other factors that have not been studied. is known. For the next research can expand the coverage area so that it represents the actual situation

The increase in product market share cannot be separated from the connectivity of the marketing system and media used. Marketing channels play an important role in increasing sales both in the short and long term. This study aimed to determine the role of social media in increasing the market share of MSME products in Pematangsiantar City. The research design used a literature study and field study models using a qualitative approach with a one-shot model. The research location was in 8 districts in Pematangsiantar City. The population in this study were MSME players scattered in 8 districts in Pematangsiantar City. The samples were collected using a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling technique, so that a total sample size of 240 respondents were obtained. Moreover, the data analysis technique used in this study was data analysis with a data reduction model that was obtained from data collection and data display. The results of this study concluded that the use of social media was very dominant in MSME players in the micro sector and Instagram was one type of social media that was often used. Furthermore, the results of the study also suggested that the time factor was the basis for MSME players using social media as a medium for promoting their products.

Technological development has provided to our generation an easier life in terms of connecting to each other with the blurring boundaries of time and place. According to a survey conducted by wearesocial.com in 2016, 79.0 million out of 88.1 million Internet users in Indonesia are active social media users. Therefore, there has been an increasing number of companies making use of social media to market their products, including ZAP Clinic. Along with the use of social media by ZAP Clinic, the brand equity of the company has become stronger as signified by the company being selected as TOP Brand Award 2016 for the first time. This research aims at understanding to what extent Instagram, as a social media, influences the brand equity of ZAP Clinic, through the company’s Instagram account @zapcoid. This research used quantitative method with explanatory research as its type of research. The data was collected through online questionnaires that were spread via direct messages to Instagram followers of @zapcoid that had done any treament at ZAP Clinic. Sample used in this research amount a hundred. The sampling technique was purposive, while the analysis technique was simple linear regression with the use of Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). This research demosntrates that social media (X) significantly influences the equity of a brand for 0.621 or 62.1%, while the remnant 37.9% is the contribution of other variables that were not assessed.  Perkembangan teknologi internet di kehidupan manusia mempermudah komunikasi tanpa batas jarak dan waktu. Menurut survei yang dilakukan oleh wearesocial.com pada tahun 2016 dari 88.1 juta pengguna internet di Indonesia 79.0 juta merupakan pengguna aktif media sosial. Oleh karena itu banyak perusahaan yang memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai alat komunikasi pemasarannya, salah satunya adalah ZAP Clinic. Seiring dengan peningkatan kualitas media sosial yang dilakukan, brand equity ZAP Clinic pun semakin kuat yang ditandai oleh terpilihnya ZAP Clinic dalam TOP Brand Award 2016 untuk pertama kalinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh media sosial instagram @zapcoid terhadap brand equity ZAP Clinic. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian explanatory research. Pengumpulan data dalam bentuk kuesioner yang disebar secara online melalui direct message kepada followers akun instagram @zapcoid dan pernah melakukan treatment di ZAP Clinic. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berjumlah 100 responden. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana dan dengan menggunakan aplikasi Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat diketahui bahwa  media sosial (X) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap brand equity sebesar 0,621 atau 62,1%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 37,9% lainnya merupakan kontribusi variabel lain yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract. The number of students accessing the internet every year makes any changes that occur in adolescence which can cause certain problems in him. ideally adolescents are able to develop well, not displaying behavior that leads to negative behavior. Narcissists are very self-centered, always emphasize that they are perfect (self-congratulatory), and see their desires and hopes as important things. Self-esteem affects the use of social media in a teenager seen when publishing himself by displaying photos or videos that are considered attractive and tend to be indifferent. This study aims to examine the relationship between narcissistic behavior and self-esteem on the use of Tiktok social media. The sampling technique used is proportioned random sampling, total sample 213 with data collection using a psychological scale. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression by showing the results of a positive and significant relationship between narcissistic behavior and self-esteem on the use of TikTok social media with a significance result of 0.000 <0.05 and a calculated F value of 11.027> table 2.14Keywords: (Narcissists, Self-esteem, Tiktok social media)

This study further finds out about the influence of instagram social media and electronic word of mouth (EWOM) as promotional media on buying interest and consumer purchase decisions on Somethinc skincare products. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling by purposive sampling. As for the background of this research is the role of the use of social media Instagram and how influential electronic word of mouth (EWOM) on buying interest and consumer purchasing decisions. The research was conducted for skincare products with the SomeThinc brand. The sampling technique used is nonprobability sampling by purposive sampling. The sample used in this study were 105 respondents. The respondents in this study were required to be at least 17 years old, have an instagram social media account and have purchased SomeThinc skincare products. The data analysis technique used is SEM-PLS analysis using the SmartPLS 3.0 program. The results of this study indicate that instagram social media has a significant effect on buying interest, instagram social media has a significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions, electronic word of mouth (EWOM) has a significant effect on buying interest, electronicword of mouth (EWOM) has an effect on consumer purchasing decisions, buying interest has a significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions, social media instagram has a significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions mediated by buying interest,  electronic word of mouth (EWOM) has a significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions mediated by buying interest.

This study aims to describe the profile of vegetation diversity in the mangrove ecosystem in Tamuku Village, Bone-Bone-Bone District, North Luwu Regency. This research is a qualitative research using survey methods. The data collection technique uses the Quadrant Line Transect Survey technique. The data analysis technique uses the thinking flow which is divided into three stages, namely describing phenomena, classifying them, and seeing how the concepts that emerge are related to each other. The results of this study are the profile of mangrove vegetation in Tamuku Village, which is still found 16 varieties of true mangrove vegetation and 7 varieties of mangrove vegetation joined in the coastal area of Tamuku Village, Bone-Bone District, North Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi. The condition of mangrove vegetation in Tamuku Village is currently very worrying due to human activities that cause damage such as the project of normalization of flow, opening of new farms, disposal of garbage, water pollution due to chemicals, and exploitation of mangrove forests for living needs. The impact is ecosystem damage and reduced vegetation area as a place to grow and develop mangroves.

This study aims to determine: (1) The productive role of fishermen housewives in increasing family income in Sei Merbau Village, Teluk Nibung District, Tanjungbalai City, (2) The reproductive role of fishermen housewives in increasing family income in Sei Merbau Village, Teluk Nibung Kota District Tanjungbalai, and (3) The social role of fisherman housewives in increasing family income in Sei Merbau Village, Teluk Nibung District, Tanjungbalai City. This research was conducted in Sei Merbau Village, Teluk Nibung District, Tanjungbalai City in 2020. The population of this study were all fishermen housewives in Sei Merbau Village, amounting to 592 people, while the sample in this study was 10% of the total population (59 people. ) and taken using the Simple Random Sampling technique. The data collection technique is done by direct communication (interview). While the data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. The results showed that: (1) The highest productive role (48.78%) was performed by housewives who worked as factory workers, while the lowest role (21%) was performed by housewives who worked as coconut peeler. Overall, the role played by housewives of fishermen is 33.35% and is in the low category. (2) The reproductive role played by the housewives of fishermen in Kelurahan Sei Merbau, namely having dependents of 1 to 6 children. Most (57.63%) fishermen housewives had 1-2 children and a small proportion (8.47%) had 5-6 children with an average of 2-3 children. (3) In general (81.36%) fishermen housewives participated in the social activities of the unfortunate union and a small proportion (25.42%) participated in arisan activities. In addition, the recitation activity is useful for moral contributions to housewives so that they can motivate husbands to work to increase income and also motivate children to improve education. The highest role of arisan activities was 76.92% while the lowest role was 22.73%. With an average of 43.47%.

This study aims to determine whether there is 1) The effect of plyometric training jumping over a kun with two legs to the side, 2) The effect of the plyometric training jumping over a kun with two legs in a zig-zag manner, 3) Comparison of the plyometric exercise jumping over a kun with two legs sideways and in a zig-zag manner on leg muscle power for male students of class VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Rambah, Rokan Hulu Regency. This type of research is a quasi experiment. The population was all male students of class VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Rambah, Rokan Hulu Regency, totaling 12 people. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling, namely the entire population of male students of class VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Rambah, Rokan Hulu Regency. The instrument used in collecting data was the Standing Broad Jump test. The data analysis technique used was the t-test, where 1) The effect of the plyometric training jumping over a kun with two legs to the side is 4.27, 2) The effect of the plyometric training jumping over a kun with two legs in a zigzag manner is 5.97, 3) Comparison plyometric exercise jumping kun with two legs to the side and zigzag the leg muscle power of male students class VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Rambah, Rokan Hulu Regency is 2.36 with t table is 1.81. So from the two exercises given there are significant differences.

Students nowadays interact more frequently through the internet using English. As an international language, English is used by most internet users, both by application companies and social networks, as well as by users. Internet usage can be more easily obtained, especially in big cities. This affects the students’ way of thinking, learning and behaving because they can learn everything easily and quickly through online media available at the internet. The aim of this research is to show the effect of internet use habit on English achievement for class VIII students at SMPI Al Azhar 8 in Bekasi. This research based on survey methods using technical correlational analysis. While the data and information were obtained by a questionnaire. The sample is taken with purposive sampling technique that is 44 students. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: There is a significant effect of the habit of interacting through the internet on the English achievement. This is evidenced by the acquisition of the results of the Sig. 0,000 <0,05dan t value = 4,365 which means there is a significant effect.

This study aims to determine how the influence of the Electronic Word of Mouth (eWOM) on social media YouTube on Purchase Intention on Samsung smartphones in Bandung with the presence of a mediator from Brand Attitude. The research method used is a quantitative method with descriptive research objectives, the type of research is causal, the technique used in this study is non-probability sampling, data collection methods with cross sectional. In this study, the population used in this study were smartphone users in Bandung. The population in this study were smartphone users in Bandung who used social media Youtube. The sampling technique used the Cochran formula so that a minimum sample size of 385 respondents was determined and in the study the valid respondents were 400 respondents. The data analysis technique is a multivariate technique using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. For data analysis using the AMOS 24 application. The findings of this study indicate that there is no effect of eWOM Samsung smartphones on Purchase Intention and the influence of eWOM on the Brand Attitude of Samsung brand smartphones on Youtube social media
