Currently, in the conditions of the modern economy, with the increase in complexity and diversity of organizations, an important role is played by managers who tend to professionalize by learning the science of management, but also other adjacent fields that would enhance their managerial skills. A leader must be prepared to help the sports organization achieve its goals with the least material investment and minimal mental and physical effort. The managers of the social structures and the managers of the institutional level deal with the elaboration of the strategic plans, the formulation of the goals, the adaptation of the organizations to different changes, the direction of the attitude between the organization, the environment and the society. We proposed a practical-applied experimental study, in order to identify the defining elements of an integrated model of communication that can be applied in the teaching-learning process in the instructive activities of the faculties, by applying an integration questionnaire, applied to staff teachers and students at the State University of Physical Education and Sport, from various study programs.

This paper examines teachers’ use of printed curriculum materials (PCM) during physical education (PE) instruction in Spanish secondary schools and the role they play in the enacted curriculum and in the construction of pedagogical knowledge. Three hundred and ten participants (mean age: 37.7 ± 8.7) responded to an interview-questionnaire on teachers’ pedagogical roles and tasks linked to PCM in PE. Results indicated that while PCM were used very frequently for registering students’ attendance and recording observational notes from lessons, textbooks were less and infrequently used. Both, ‘materials for data registration’ and ‘student textbook’ showed the highest and lowest level of teachers’ satisfaction, respectively. ‘Student diary’ was the PCM used more by female and less experienced teachers than their counterparts, while textbooks were used more by experienced teachers than those with less years of teaching experience. Over fifty percent of teachers considered PCM to be ‘Quite important’ because they facilitate students to study theoretical knowledge, investigate and be creative. The paper discusses the contribution of teachers’ use of PCM to the enacted curriculum and their participation in the social construction of PE knowledge through Bernstein’s theory of pedagogic device. In particular, it indicates that PE teachers are relatively independent from external agencies in curriculum development and participate in the social construction of pedagogical knowledge. Female and less experienced teachers’ use of PCM facilitated students’ participation in the construction of knowledge, which suggests weaker framing of the teaching-learning process..

This study focused on how teachers and students as the social actors in an Intercultural Communication (IC) classroom were represented discursively. A video recording transcript of IC classroom activities at a state University in Indonesia was selected as the data source. The data source was rigorously analysed through van Leeuwen’s Socio-semantic inventory of social actors framework (Van Leeuwen, 1996). The main findings show that social actors in IC classroom can be categorised into two main thematic representations, namely positive and negative ones. disclosed that Hamzah as the representative of classroom presenters was represented as victimised, oppressed, intimidated and minoritised actor. Hamzah’s Mathematics teacher was depicted as an intolerant, dehumanising, discriminatory and oppressing actor. Hamzah’s Social Sciences teacher was illustrated as a racial, stereotyping, dominant and provoking actor. The Intercultural Communication teacher was delineated as the actor endeavoring to encourage his students to be tolerant, critical, supportive and open-minded people. Hamzah’s classmates in IC classroom were characterised as sympathetic, supportive, friendly and reactionary actors.

Education is not only concerned with the transmission of knowledge; it must also concern itself with the social and moral development of adolescents. Physical activity and sport provide a favorable environment for promoting personal and social values in adolescents. The aims of the study are, to identify which values are developed and strengthened in High School physical education classes, under the vision of Physical Activity Sciences students, and to develop, implement, and evaluate teaching–learning games activities in the initial training of Physical Activity Sciences students for the integration of values in physical education. The participant group consisted of 87 students belonging to the Degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences. The tools used to identify the values was questionnaire designed from list of values presented by Schwartz. The assessment of the design and implementation of the activities was carried out through a rubric. The results confirm that university students would enhance in a future professional the values of respect, equality, and good manners. Regarding gender, it should be noted that there is a significant difference in the chosen values of humility (p = .016), group work (p = .05), and empathy (p = .027). Due to the design of the games developed by students, it was concluded that it is more feasible to implement activities that promote the values of collaboration and creativity. It did not happen with the values of equality, perseverance, respect, aggressiveness, authority, and daring; despite them being present in sports activities, they are not easy to focus upon in the objective set.

Abstract Cooperative games are activities that serve to unite people, share with each other and intend to arouse the participants’ courage and promote a sense of pleasure. In the context of Physical School Education, cooperative games are shown as a tool capable of promoting the learning of motor skills and encouraging the practice of physical activities. Thus, the objective of this research is to discuss the relationships and importance of cooperative games in School Physical Education. A bibliographic, exploratory and documentary research was carried out. Competitive games are always present in the school context, often criticized for stimulating exclusion and individuality, and it is not a fully adequate strategy to promote knowledge and participation of all. On the other hand, the cooperative games are shown as a positive pedagogical tool to include the students and help in the teaching-learning process, improving the social coexistence between them. It is possible to conclude that cooperative games can and should be part of the school routine, not only Physical Education itself, since its objectives are aimed at reaching the school community as a whole, especially the student’s body. In the context of Physical Education, cooperative games can help in the process of learning motor skills from the first contacts of the child with the school, since in a playful and enjoyable way, the student engages and grows, being an excellent pedagogical practice strategy. Keywords: Games. The article considers the process of studying the correlation between the development of personal qualities, the level of physical training of students in universities and the attitude of students to physical education classes. Physical education is one of the main ways of educating modern youth, which should harmoniously combine moral purity and spiritual wealth, physical perfection and psychological purposefulness. It has an impact on increasing the social and labor activity of students during their study at university. An active and healthy person keeps youth for a long time, continuing creative activities, not allowing “the soul to be lazy”. Methods. To achieve the research purposes, we used a specially developed questionnaire on the impact of physical education on the health and attitudes of boys and girls to the subject. The experiment was conducted on the basis of the Sevastopol State University. The sample of probationers from the 1st year of study were 205 students (100 boys and 105 girls). The results of the study showed that 42% of the 1st year students chose to conduct physical education in the educational format, 37% of them are against compulsory classes, and 21% are neutral about physical education. Statistics showed that 60% attend classes only to get a «credit», 33% are interested in studying and gaining knowledge in their sport, and 7% do not attend classes well for various reasons. The authors come to the conclusion that the requirements for graduates of educational institutions presuppose the development of new competencies by teachers that allow them to organize the educational process qualitatively and develop a positive attitude of students to physical education.

This article makes an analysis of the pedagogical teaching practices used and developed by Chilean physical education teachers during the coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19) pandemic periods. The virus from China spread around the world, changed our daily lives and as such, at the same time impacted the educational system in a matter of weeks. Confinement led educational systems to eliminate face-to-face and use virtual teaching in order to continue with the teaching-learning processes, including the physical education discipline. From the methodological point of view, the study is installed in the interpretive-qualitative perspective, in such a way that 14 semi-structured interviews were carried by physical education teachers from the Maule-Chile region, via team, Zoom, Skype, because of the pandemic, face-to-face contact was impossible. The result of the study shows the impact on the quality of life of teachers and students because of the confinement. The pedagogical reconfiguration that teachers experienced in a matter of days, led them to use different virtual platforms to continue connected with their students, in order to deploy the learning objectives defined by the Chilean Ministry of Education. However, the foregoing shows the scarce possibility of verifying student learning, due to the difficulties of monitoring and feedback.
