Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) are still health problems faced by both developed and developing countries. One of the main factors that become obstacles is the stigma and discrimination against HIV sufferers in Indonesia which is still high. The age group most infected with HIV/AIDS in Indonesia is included in the population of couples of childbearing age. EFA is a couple (male and female) who are mature enough in all respects, especially their reproductive organs that are already functioning properly. At this time EFA must be able to maintain and utilize its reproduction properly. The purpose of this study is to describe the knowledge and attitudes of couples of childbearing age in preventing HIV/AIDS in the Work Area of ??the South Cilacap Health Center II. This study used a descriptive research design with a cross sectional approach. Samples were taken by random sampling technique, amounting to 30 respondents with univariate analysis. The results of this study were sufficient knowledge of respondents about HIV/AIDS 16 respondents (53.3%), both 12 respondents (40%) and less than 2 respondents (6.7%) as well as positive attitudes 24 respondents (80%) and negative attitudes 6 respondents (20%).

A condom is a sheath made of latex which is caused by an erect penis or vagina that acts as a protector to prevent semen or fluid from ejaculating when the penis is in the vagina. Men's participation in joining the Family Planning program is quite low. This has also reduced men's participation in using condom contraception. The purpose of this study was to determine the Relationship between Knowledge and Perceptions of Men with Condom Use in the work area of the Rimbo Data Center. This research is quantitative research with analytic descriptive design and cross-sectional approach conducted in January 2019. The sampling technique is purposive sampling with a sample size of 80 people. Data were analyzed univariately and bivariate by computer using the chi-square statistical test. The results obtained from 80 samples, based on this univariate analysis (46.2%) had a low level of knowledge, (53.8%) had a negative perception, and most (63.8%) respondents did not use contraceptives condom. Based on bivariate analysis states there is a significant relationship between male knowledge with the use of condoms with a value of p-value = 0,000 <0.05. The perception of men with the use of condoms states that there is a significant relationship between perception with the use of condoms with the results of p-value = 0,000 <0.05. It is expected that the results of this study can increase the knowledge and perception of the community through counseling, especially regarding condom contraception. Introduction: Although pharmacists’ role in the care of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-infected and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) patients is well established, studies had reported pharmacists’ negative attitudes towards people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA), with negative impact on HIV management. This study aimed to explore pharmacists’ knowledge of HIV/AIDS, perception towards the changing of treatment regimens of HIV/AIDS, attitudes towards PLWHA, and to identify factors affecting the pharmacists’ attitudes towards PLWHA in the state of Kelantan, which reportedly have the third highest number of HIV/AIDS patients in Malaysia. Materials and method: A validated online 43-item questionnaire was distributed to 400 pharmacists in Kelantan. Multivariate logistic regression was performed to identify factors associated with pharmacists’ negative attitude towards PLWHA.  Results: A total of 170 respondents (response rate 42%) completed the questionnaire. Respondents had knowledge on the potential causes of HIV infection [median(IQR) score=13.00(1); maximum score=14.00], and preventive measures of HIV/AIDS transmission [median(IQR) score=12.00(1); maximum score=12.00]. On decision in changing regimens, the respondents agreed on the need to change treatment regimen for HIV/AIDS when required [median(IQR) score=7.00(2); maximum score=8.00]. Up to 40.6% of respondents thought that the treatment regimen should not be switched based on cost. Two-thirds of the respondents had negative attitudes towards PLWHA (67.1%). Respondents who worked in community pharmacy reported positive attitudes towards PLWHA (Adj OR=0.125; 95%CI=0.025-0.623; p=0.011). Conclusion: Pharmacists in Kelantan had several misconceptions towards the causes of HIV/AIDS, preventive measures of HIV/AIDS transmission, and necessity in changing treatment regimen when required. Despite good disease related knowledge, most pharmacists had negative attitudes towards PLWHA, while pharmacists working in community settings presented more positive attitudes towards PLWHA.
