This study aims to develop integrated science teaching materials on the theme "Electricity in Living Creatures" by using the Four Step Teaching Material Development Method (4STMD) which includes the Selection, Structuring, Categorization and Reduction of Dactic stages. This research uses Research and Development (R & D) methods. The subject of this study is all science teaching materials on the theme of electricity in living things studied using the 4STMD method. The data in this study were captured by using various types of instruments that were rationally validated (logical) and empirical (empirical) by experts at each stage of development. Data from expert validation were analyzed using CVR and CVI and percentage analysis. The opinions of students regarding the instructional materials developed and the feasibility of the developed teaching materials were collected using questionnaires. As a development evaluation material in the development of teaching materials, the effectiveness of instructional materials on the thinking ability of knowledge integration in students is also tested. As a comparison, also tested the effectiveness of other teaching materials. The effectiveness test results show that students who use teaching materials developed using the 4STMD method have a higher score (65) compared to students who use other teaching materials (60).

Abstract This research aims to produce science teaching materials in junior level with Energy in The Body as the theme using Four Steps Teaching Material Development  (4STMD). The material is presented in an integrated way so that students can  think holistically and contextually. The method used in this study is Research and Development. In this R&D methods is used 4STMD. There are four steps done on the development of teaching materials, the selection step, structuring step, characterization, and didactic reduction. Selection step includes the selection of indicators in accordance with the demands of the curriculum which is then developed with the selection of concepts and values that are integrated with the concept of science. Structuring step includes make macro structures, concept maps, and multiple representations. Characterization's step includes preparation instruments, then  trial to students to identify difficult concepts. The last, didactic reduction was done by neglect and the annotations in the form of sketches.The test results readability aspect instructional materials lead to the conclusion that by determining the main idea, the legibility of teaching materials reached 67%, with moderate readability criteria. Test results of feasibility aspects based on the results of questionnaires to the 11 teachers lead to the conclusion that the overall, level of eligibility teaching materials reached 91% with the eligibility criteria well. Keywords: teaching materials; energy; 4STMD Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar IPA SMP pada tema Energi dalam Tubuh menggunakan metode Four Steps Teaching Material Development (4STMD). Materi disajikan secara terpadu sehingga memacu siswa untuk berpikir secara holistik dan kontekstual. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan. Dalam penelitian dan pengembangan yang ini, digunakan metode Four Steps Teaching Material Development (4STMD). Terdapat empat tahap yang dilakukan pada pengembangan bahan ajar, yakni tahap seleksi, strukturisasi, karakterisasi, dan reduksi didaktik. Tahap seleksi meliputi pemilihan indikator yang sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum yang kemudian dikembangkan dengan pemilihan konsep dan nilai yang diintegrasikan dengan konsep IPA. Tahap strukturisasi meliputi pembuatan struktur makro, peta konsep, dan multipel representasi dari materi. Tahap karakterisasi meliputi penyusunan instrumen karakterisasi, kemudian uji coba kepada siswa untuk mengidentifikasi konsep sulit. Tahap terakhir, yaitu reduksi didaktik konsep terhadap konsep sulit. Reduksi didaktik yang dilakukan berupa pengabaian dan penggunaan penjelasan berupa sketsa. Hasil uji aspek keterbacaan bahan ajar menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa berdasarkan penentuan ide pokok, keterbacaan bahan ajar mencapai 67%, dengan kriteria keterbacaan tinggi. Hasil uji aspek kelayakan berdasarkan hasil angket terhadap 11 orang guru menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa secara keseluruhan tingkat kelayakan bahan ajar mencapai 91% dengan kriteria kelayakan baik sekali. The course for developing teaching materials is a subject that must be taken by educational students. Students as prospective teachers must be able to make good quality teaching materials so that learning can run effectively and efficiently. In the course of developing instructional materials, students are required to be able to produce a print teaching material that is appropriate for use by students. Teaching materials can be said to be of good quality and appropriate if it is in accordance with the learning objectives that must be achieved by students. This research is a descriptive study with an analysis of teaching materials that have been developed by students through project-based learning. The results of the study can be seen that the quality of teaching materials that have been developed along with the cognitive abilities of students master the material of teaching material development subjects. Good quality teaching materials indicate mastery in cognitive abilities as well. Keywords: development, teaching material, project-based learning

The manuscripts of Qur'an that are scattered around us are divided into 2 types  i.e. Indonesian standard manuscripts and the Middle East or Madinah standard, the development of these two manuscripts is not balanced with the refining of teaching materials or the Qur'anic learning method, 90% of the methods refer to Indonesian standard manuscripts and the rest refer to Mushaf Madinah. This challenge was answered by the Griya Al-Qur’an to provide a method that refers to the Mushaf Madinah which has been running for 7 years and has printed 14,000 books that should have been revised as soon as the input from the user (asatizah). The three problems became the study of this thesis. First, how to describe the learning of the Qur'an? Second, how to develop teaching material? And third what is the effectiveness of teaching materials?. This study used an R & D approach or in practice mixed between qualitative and quantitative, qualitative to measure the depth of the material as well as quantitatively to measure validity and effectiveness of teaching materials. The results of the study were as follows: First, the Qur'an Learning should pay attention to 7 components of learning namely goals, material, students, teachers, methods, tools and assessment systems. Second, to develope this teaching material, the ADDIE stage was analyzed, the results of which were revised focus on adding volume 1 and changing the paper size, designed by making a re-design of the material based on the analysis results and preparing the Mushaf Madinah printing software with the Usmani hafs V09 font, Development by implementing what has been designed and invited material experts and instructional media experts to test validity with the results of the experts' values of 80% and 76%, respectively, which meant valid. The third was to measure effectiveness through the implementation stage by conducting a trial with the pretest result of 33% and posttest of 79% which meant that this teaching material was effective and ended with evaluation by evaluating each stage of development. Keywords: Teaching materias Development , Griya Al-Qur’an, Qur'an Learning

This research method is used to produce a products i.e teaching material  of reading desceriptive text based constructivist approach. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. The data analysis technique was carried out by analyzing the questionnaire which was seen from the results of the high and low percentage of the needs desired by students and the next teacher. Development of teaching materials follows the procedure: 1) preliminary study or need assessment; 2) preparation of prototype teaching material design; 3) draft product preparation; 4) draft product trials on a limited scale; 5)draft product revision; 6) testing the revised product on a large scale; 7) writing final product.  Development of teaching materials based constructivism by Needham’s 5 fase. The research instrument was in the form of a questionnaire addressed to the team of experts, users, and audience. The cloze test instrument is used to measure the readability of the reading text and the main description of teaching materials. The product trial is carried out in seventh grade of junior high school of Lingga and East Lingga district, Lingga regency,  Riau Island province which is not exposed the Covid-19.   The conclusion of this study found that the print instructional materials Curriculum 2013, which has been made, deserves to be used in learning activities.. This development resulted in a teaching material  product  which is believed to be able to contribute to the development of science in the field of education.

This study aims to determine the concept of developing language teaching or material mahârah istim 'and mahārah kalâm in Arabic matriculation at MAN 1 Boyolali. This research uses research and development (R&D) methods that are used to produce a particular product. The steps taken are needs analysis, learning design, product development, validation of media experts and material experts, teacher and/or student responses, revisions, and final / product development. Data collection methods used were observation, tests, documentation, and interviews. The concept of developing material in this study there are five, namely analysis, design, development, evaluation and revision. There are seven steps in the design of learning material development in this study, namely: Requirement analysis, Learning design, Product development (teaching material), Product validation, Teacher and student responses, Revision, and Product material/teaching material. According to the data obtained from observations and interviews shows that the matriculation program is proven effective in improving students' ability in learning Arabic, especially in mahārah istimâ ’and mahārah kalâm. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsep pengembangan bahasa ajar atau materi mahârah istimâ’ dan mahârah kalâm dalam matrikulasi bahasa Arab di MAN 1 Boyolali. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development (R&D) yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan suatu produk tertentu. Langkah – langkah yang dilakukan adalah analisis kebutuhan, desain pembelajaran, pengembangan produk, validasi ahli media dan ahli materi, respon guru dan atau siswa, revisi, dan hasil akhir/ produk pengembangan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Konsep pengembangan materi dalam penelitian ini ada lima, yaitu analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, evaluasi dan revisi. Langkah – langkah dalam desain pengembangan materi pembelajaran dalam penelitian ini ada tujuh, yaitu : Analisis kebutuhan, Desain pembelajaran, Pengembangan produk (materi ajar), Validasi produk, Respon guru dan siswa, Revisi, dan Produk materi/ bahan ajar. Menurut data yang dipeoleh dari observasi dan wawancara menunjukkan bahwa program matrikulasi terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab khususnya dalam mahârah istimâ’ dan mahârah kalâm. This development aims to develop teaching materials for writing short stories with adobe flash SMP Class IX. The scope of this development is limited only to planning, material and evaluation in the learning process. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D), using a development research design using the Brog & Gall model. Teaching material development results obtained material expert test results 82% were declared feasible, media expert test 86% were declared feasible, small group field test 80% declared good, a large group field test 82.3% was declared good. So overall the data obtained from the development of instructional materials with adobe flash media is declared feasible, teaching materials with adobe flash media are effective in increasing motivation, focus and responsiveness while the evaluation results provide increased student ability in writing short stories.

This study aims to know whether teaching materials developed were valid and practical at the triangle of material through PMRI in junior high school. The research began by interviewing teachers in SMPN 2 Bengkulu city was obtained information that in mathematics on triangular material still has difficulty at understanding the concept. The teaching material developed in this study was in the student books, teacher books and lesson plan (RPP). Development of this resource referred to the mode of development of 4-D (four-D) that was Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate. However, this study was only done until the stage of development (development) only. At the defining stage has been done as much as five steps of the activity. At the design stage, researchers prepared a prototype by designing instructional materials in the form of books developed through PMRI.Keywords  :Teaching materials, Triangle, PMRI

It has been determined that the drawings, photographs and pictures related to the subject of the continuity of the tangent function on page 68 of the Ministry of National Education’s twelfth-grade mathematics textbook contradict principles 1, 7 and 10 of Yanpar’s (2007) teaching material development principles. According to these principles, teaching materials should: i) be simple, plain, and understandable, ii) reflect real life as much as possible, and iii) be easy to develop or revise, if necessary. This study aims to develop a portable tangent bridge model to meet the needs of the subject of the continuity of the tangent function. With this aim: i) teaching with the analogies model in the design of the teaching material, ii) “this is my project” format in the development and iii) Yanpar’s (2007) principles were considered. The design of the model lasted 14 weeks. At the end of the study, a portable tangent bridge model from waste products was designed and developed. This model is thought to contribute to the teaching effectiveness of teachers (Shulman, 1987) with content knowledge alongside with pedagogical knowledge (Shulman, 1986). With this contribution, the needs of the subject as described by Taba (1962) and Tyler (1949) will be met. This model will also serve as an example of meeting the needs of the subjects of knowledge and its product, technology, as highlighted by Cahit Arf (Terzioglu &Yilmaz, 2006).

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mendesain materi pengembangan bahan ajar non cetak melalui e-learning flipped classroom. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan mengikuti langkah-langkah penelitian yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, analisis dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester V Program Studi Dosenan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Dosenan Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara pada tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan pada matakuliah  Pengembangan Bahan Ajar dengan jumlah mahasiswa 17 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data pada  penelitian ini menggunakan data kuantitatif. Alat pengumpulan data kuantitatif ini menggunakan instrumen materi pengembangan bahan ajar non cetak dengan menggunakan pilihan berganda yang diberikan secara online, sementara pada data kualitatif menggunakan hasil observasi kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mendesain materi pengembangan bahan ajar non cetak di kelas e-learning. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mendesain materi pengembangan bahan ajar non cetak dengan menggunakan e-learning flipped classroom. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Mahasiswa, Bahan Ajar Non Cetak, E-Learning Classroom  Abstract: This study aims to improve students' abilities in designing non-print teaching materials through e-learning flipped classrooms. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) by following the research steps, namely: planning, implementing, observing, analyzing and reflecting. The subjects of this study were students in the fifth semester of the Pancasila and Citizenship Lecturer Study Program, the Teaching and Lecturer Faculty of the Islamic University of North Sumatra in the 2020/2021 school year. The implementation of this classroom action research was carried out in the course of Teaching Material Development with a total of 17 students. Data collection techniques in this study using quantitative data. This quantitative data collection tool uses non-printed teaching material development materials instruments using multiple choices provided online, while the qualitative data uses observations of students' abilities in designing non-print teaching material development materials in e-learning classes. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in the ability of students in designing non-print teaching materials development materials using e-learning flipped classrooms. Keywords: Student Activity, Non-Printed Teaching Materials, E-Learning Flipped Classroom

This article presents a part of a study conducted to develop multimedia based teaching material for Grammar 3. It aims at describing needs and problems of students in learning Grammar 3 through a descriptive study. The data were gathered from the questionnaires distributed to the students who have taken Grammar 3 course. The result of the research conveys that 1) there is a gap between the objective of Grammar 3 course and the students’ achievement in the class, 2) students get the problems in understanding Grammar 3 due to inappropriate teaching materials used in teaching and learning process, and 3) the students need a multimedia based teaching materials to improve their understanding and achievement in Grammar 3 course.Key words/phrases:teaching material development, multimedia, need analysis, Grammar 3 APAKAH MAHASISWA MEMBUTUHKAN MATERI AJAR GRAMMAR 3 BERBASIS MULTIMEDIA?AbstrakArtikel ini merupakan salah satu bagian dari rangkaian penelitian pengembangan materi ajar Grammar 3 berbasis multimedia. Oleh karena itu, data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebar kepada seluruh mahasiswa yang telah mengambil mata kuliah Grammar 3. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) adanya ketimpangan antara tujuan pembelajaran Grammar 3 dan kemampuan yang dikuasai mahasiswa; 2) mahasiswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi Grammar 3 karena kurang memadainya materi yang digunakan dalam proses belajar dan mengajar; dan 3) mahasiswa membutuhkan materi ajar berbasis multimedia yang dapat membantu meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan mereka pada materi Grammar 3.Kata Kunci/frase: pengembangan materi ajar, multimedia, analisis kebutuhan, Grammar 3
