This study aims to see what punk means in the movie Bomb X City. This study uses a qualitative method generate descriptive data. The grand theory in this study uses the semiotics of Roland Barthes which consists of denotation, connotation and myth. The results of this study proves that the meaning of punk in the movie Bomb X City is punk not a group of young people who are always in the environment. Their styles are tattoos, piercings, all black clothes and colored hair only as a form of expression of the young people themselves and according to the author it is owned in everyone including The Preps.

<p><em>Abstrak - </em><strong>Program Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang harus diikuti oleh setiap mahasiswa keguruan termasuk mahasiswa PAUD. Pelaksanaan mata pelajaran PPL berbeda dengan mata pelajaran lainnya yang diikuti di kelas atau dilaksanakan di kampus baik secara teori maupun praktik. Berbeda halnya mata pelajaran PPL adalah mata pelajaran dalam bentuk praktik pengalaman lapangan sebagaimana kegiatan guru di sekolah-sekolah umumnya.</strong> <strong>Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif (<em>qualitative research)</em>. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan  deskriptif analitik, yaitu data dideskripsikan dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif, dan dimaknai secara mendalam berdasarkan perspektif emik yaitu penyajian data secara alamiah tanpa melakukan suatu manipulasi atau perlakuan terhadap subjek yang diteliti (Bogdan dan Taylor, 1975:31).</strong> <strong>Kompetensi mahasiswa PPL meningkat ditandai dengan meningkatnya 4 kompetensi yaitu : kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi professional, dan kompetensi sosial. Pengetahuan yang dimiliki oleh mahasiwa PPL, guru pamong, dan dosen pembimbing memiliki peran yang sangat besar pengaruhnya dalam pelaksanaan PPL. Sedangkan peran kelompok PPL dan kepala sekolah kurang memiliki peran dalam pelaksanaan PPL.</strong></p><p> </p><p><strong><em>Kata Kunci -</em></strong> <em>Mahasiswa PPL, Kompetensi Pedagogik, Kompetensi Kepribadian, Kompetensi Profesional, Kompetensi Sosial</em></p><p> </p><p><em>Abstract</em> - <strong>Field Experience Program (PPL) is one of the subjects that should be followed by every student teacher including PAUD students. The implementation of PPL subjects is different from other subjects that are attended in class or held on campus in both theory and practice. In contrast to PPL subjects are subjects in the form of field experience practices as are the activities of teachers in general schools. The method used in this study is a qualitative method (<em>qualitative research</em>). This study uses descriptive analytic approach, which is descriptive descriptive data, and is interpreted in depth based on the perspective of emic that is the presentation of data naturally without doing a manipulation or treatment of the subjects studied (Bogdan and Taylor, 1975: 31). Competence of PPL students is marked by increasing the four competencies: pedagogic competence, personality competence, professional competence, and social competence. The knowledge that PPL students, pamong teachers, and lecturers have has an enormous role in PPL implementation. While the role of PPL groups and principals have less role in the implementation of PPL.</strong></p><p> </p><p><strong><em>Keywords -</em></strong> <em>PPL Students, Pedagogic Competence, Personality Competence, Professional Competence,Social Competence.</em></p>

Med udgangspunkt i nyere diskussioner om kvalitativ metode, intersektionalitet og metodeproblemer som datakilde analyserer artiklen de problemer i form af modstand og undvigen, forfatteren har mødt under udarbejdelsen af sin ph.d. afhandling blandt marginaliserede unge mænd med indvandrerbaggrund. Det vises, at de unge mænd gør modstand mod den objektivering, der kan ligge i det sociologiske blik, og at feltrelationerne får en etnisk/racial gennemfarvning, således at det som undviges især er en etnisk/racial forskellighedslogik. De unge antager, at forskningsinteressen drejer sig om kriminalitet og gør følgelig modstand mod det kriminaliserende blik. De påberåber sig normalitet, ligesom de ironiserer over stereotype forestillinger om kriminelle unge indvandrermænd. Modstanden viser noget om de unge mænds forhold til voksne hvide autoriteter og noget om de komplekse identiteter, som produceres blandt de unge. Således problematiserer analysen den teoretiske udlægning, at de unge mænd internaliserer stereotype forestillinger om dem selv. ENGELSK ABSTRACT: Sune Qvotrup Jensen: ’’Is There Something Special about Bands?’’ On Resistance, Otherness and Positions in a Socio-logical Fieldwork The author addresses the problems of resistance and avoidance encountered in the empirical part of his PhD. project among marginalized young men with immigrant background. This is done through a discussion of qualitative methods, intersectionality and methodological problems as a source of data. The young men resist being seen as objects in the sociological gaze, and the field relations become cast as ethnic and racial, so that what is resisted is in particular a logic of ethnic and racial difference. The young men assume that the researcher is interested in criminal matters, and resist the criminalizing gaze. They claim normality, just as they use irony when playing with the stereotype imaginary of young criminal immigrant men. The resistance casts light on the relation between the young men and adult white authorities. It also illustrates the complex identities constructed by the young people. The article questions the theoretical idea that these young men internalize stereotypical understandings of themselves. This study aims to 1) analyze the values of local wisdom Aceh traditional houses to mitigate earthquakes and tsunamis; 2) analyze community perceptions in maintaining (knowledge, attitudes, and behavior) local wisdom of Aceh traditional houses; and 3) reviewingtheroleofparentsinthelocalculturalinheritanceofAcehtraditionalhouses. The method used in this research is the qualitative method. Data collection is done by interviewing, observing, and documenting. The results show that: 1) Rumoh Aceh has the values of local wisdom to mitigate earthquakes and tsunamis. the values of local wisdom exist in the components of building forms and traditional ceremonies of Rumoh Aceh; 2) the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of local wisdom in Rumoh Aceh teaches the community to adapt, care about cultural heritage, and form a social family system, and 3) the role of parents in the cultural inheritance local wisdom of Rumoh Aceh, carried out through civilization and socialization by involving the role of young people in traditional activities.

Moral Values in Guru Aini Written by Andrea Hirata ABSTRAKPenelitian ini berisi tentang nilai-nilai Akhlak Al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan dalam novel Guru Aini karya Andrea Hirata. Nilai akhlak menjadi fokus utama pada penelitian ini karena akhlak merupakan salah satu pondasi dasar dari sifat manusia yang sangat erat kaitannya dengan perilaku manusia dengan Tuhannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang mendalam mengenai nilai-nilai akhlak berupa nilai takwa, tawakal, kejujuran, keikhlasan, sabar  dan syukur dari novel Guru Aini karya Andrea Hirata. Novel tersebut memiliki nilai akhlak yang perlu diterapkan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat serta menjadi khazanah keilmuan berkaitan antara agama dan sastra. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan analisis isi. Metode kualitatif ini dapat menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis atau atau isi komunikasi berupa percakapan, teks tertulis, dan fotografi. Simpulan dari hasil penelitian ini terdapat 6 kutipan dari nilai takwal, 14 kutipan nilai tawakal, 18 kutipan dari nilai kejujuran, 4 kutipan dari nilai keikhlasan, 1 kutipan dari nilai sabar, dan 14 kutipan dari nilai syukur. Kata kunci: Nilai-nilai akhlak, karya sastra, novelABSTRACTThis study contains moral values based on Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah in the novel Guru Aini by Andrea Hirata. This article aims to clarify the semiotic meaning in Lapo Batak ornaments in Kuala Tanjung, Batubara Regency. The data of this study were taken from the interpretation from Batak Toba people who live in Kuala Tanjung, Batubara Regency is located in North Sumatera Indonesia in interpreting their cultural symbols. In clarifying the data, the writer was conducted by using qualitative method. The result showed the semiotic meaning and how the cultural values were realized in Lapo Batak ornaments. The dates were analysed by using Roland Barthes’ order of signification theory; denotation, connotation, and myth to emphasize the interaction between the sign with the personal cultural experience of the viewers, and the interaction between convention in the sign with the conventions experienced and expected by viewers. The writer found that the interpretations of the personal cultural experience from the viewers were still far from the Batak Toba convention (myth) in interpreting the ornaments.

Not many young people actively participate in or take part directly in political contestation and become part of the success of winning the contest. In this paper, it reveals the strategies of the youth to win political contestation and become a member of the DPRD of Medan City for the period 20142019, within the scope of a democratic system and succeeded in becoming one of the elected parts to represent the community in the regional legislature. The purpose of this paper is to encourage more democratic political development in increasing the participation of young groups in developing their regions. The methodology used in this paper is a qualitative approach that produces descriptive data.

Study related to characteristics of costumes worn in Children Creation Dance in kindergarten at Buleleng, Bali is aiming at (1) understanding the characteristics of children creation dance costume in kindergarten at Buleleng, Bali, (2) understanding the aesthetic characteristic of costume of children creation dance in kindergarten at Buleleng, Bali. The research employed qualitative method while the discussion part was presented in descriptive. Data was collected through observation, interview, literature, as well as documentation study. In a general view, characteristic of the costume was still in close proximity to the tradition but some others characteristics have quiet different to the tradition. Aesthetic aspect in dance costume that has adjacency to the tradition is shown in patterned costume, especially the use of kamen prada. The use of colour tends to be bright and cold which may show the atmosphere of happiness and assurance. On the other hand, the characteristics of costume is not traditional tends to emphasize dots and stripes. The impression of dots is shown in the use of sequin while the stripe impession is shown in fabric colour boundaries. In addition, the colours chosen for this type of costume are considerably similar to the colour chosen in traditional costume of creation dance which are bright and cold and give the impression of happiness and assurance.

AbstractThe study entitled "The Meaning of Tempo Magazine Cover (Semiotic Analysis of Tempo Magazine Cover September 16-September 22 2019, entitled Promise Staying Promise)" aims to find out the meaning of the meaning of the magazine cover tempo "Promise Stay Promise" seen from the meaning of illustrations, texts and color on the magazine cover. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with Roland Barthes's semiotic analysis approach, which examines signs through three stages of analysis namely denotation, connotation, mythology.The results of this study might reveal that the magazine cover of this edition shows the properties possessed by Mr. Jokowi as seen from the depiction of the face shape in the illustrations. The meaning of denotation, both the meaning of shadow, clothing and expression is illustrated, that the tempo magazine is a critical medium with the constitution and the spirit of democracy. While the connotation of the illustration is about the public's expectation of the revision of the KPK Law. As for the characteristics of President Jokowi's expression with his eyes closed and lips purely expressing something and his nose stretching out, that Mr. Jokowi is a liar. Furthermore, the mythological meaning found behind the illustration is a picture that contains assumptions about the unrelated Jokowi's promises and the President's responsibility towards the Revision of the KPK Law. Then in the headline and subheadline text and the black color in the nose's shadow, there is a provocation in it related to the ideology of the tempo magazine. The conclusion of this study, that the visual images contained in the magazine cover tempo "Promise Staying Promise" consisting of illustrations, text, and colors have a meaning contained therein. The purpose of this thesis research is to describe the character values ​​taught by Harfin in the novel Loving Him before Loving You. This study uses a qualitative method. Qualitative method as a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of words, phrases, clauses, and sentences for each paragraph. Research data are data sources, collection techniques and data analysis techniques which include data description, data analysis and data conclusions. Data analysis was carried out by content analysis to reveal the 5 character values, namely religious character, mutual cooperation, independence, nationalism and integrity. Religious characters have good characters (protagonists) and person who are ugly. Character of mutual cooperation is the attitude of helping and advising each other. The usual independent character lives in deprivation, hard work, has a motivation that is less dependent on others. Nationalism character in the form of dedication of honorary teachers in an elementary school. The integrity character of hard work with confidence and optimism can complete the work while praying to Him. The character implanted can be a reference for learning in schools in order to realize Indonesian children who are religious, mutual help, independent, nationalism and integrity.

This research intends to elaborate the effect of mass media abuses through Dellilo’s White Noise. Therefore, the researchers analyzed how the effect of mass media abuses influence the character through the novel. In analyzing this research, the researchers used genetic structuralism approach as the grand theory and concept of mass media as the supporting theory. Moreover, the writer used qualitative method and descriptive analysis method in analyzing the data. The result of this research is the writers finds there are three effect of mass media abuses such as (1) consumerism, (2) drug abuses, and (3) violence.
