This study aims to describe the character values ​​contained in the grade 1 student book of the 2017 edition of the My Family theme published by Kemendibud. The research method uses descriptive qualitative research. The research data consisted of (1) orders / tasks, (2) expressions / statements, (3) dialogues / interviews. The source of the data is in the form of reading / content text in the first grade elementary school student book with the theme of my family, published by the Ministry of Education and Culture's revised 2017 edition. Data analysis was carried out using content analysis. Data collection was done using artifact analysis techniques in the form of writing or text. Data processing is done by collecting the character values ​​that have been reviewed in the student book theme My Family. The results of the study were six character values, namely, (1) social care. Social care is able to show students' attitudes to love each other, helping and helping fellow families. (2) tolerance. Tolerance is shown by students discussing in groups. (3) creative. Creative shows students by making handicrafts with their ideas and ideas. (4) self-confidence. Students show their actions in front of the class by appearing bold. (5) communicative. students are able to talk and tell experiences in front of the class and around their environment. (6) religious. The value of religious character shows the attitude of students obeying God's commands and avoiding prohibitions and carrying out worship with family.

Abstract Reception of students of SMAN 4 Banjarmasin in Grade 11 of 2020 Year Against Novel of “Daun Yang Jatuh Tak Pernah Membenci Angin” by Tere Liye. This study aims to describe the reception of students of SMAN 4 Banjarmasin in grade 11 of 2020 year against novel of “Daun Yang Jatuh Tak Pernah Membenci Angin” by Tere Liye. The method used in this dtudy is a qualitative description method with Miles and Huberman, theory analysis techniques. Its estabilish analysis criteria, collect data according to analysis criteria, reduce data that does not fit the analysis criteria to the point of saturation. Present data in tabular form, interpret the relationship between reception data, and summarize the result of research. Data obtained from the adoption of student receptions on the elements of development and the value of character education in the novel. From the discussion of this thesis it can be concluded that: (1) Reception of students of SMAN 4 Banjarmasin in grade 11 of 2020 year against novel of “Daun Yang Jatuh Tak Pernah Membenci Angin” by Tere Liye that reflected from the theme, plot, character and caharacterization, setting, language, and message produce a different reception depending on the reader’s open judgment which can be broadly said to be the reception of the reader approaching the development al elements expressed and desired by the author. (2) Reception of students of SMAN 4 Banjarmasinon the value of education in the novel of “Daun Yang Jatuh Tak Pernah Membenci Angin” by Tere Liye that most students stated that there were religious values, honesty values, tolerance values, disciplinary values, hard work values, creative values, independent values, curiosity values, reward achievement values, friendship values, of peace, reading values, values care of the environmental, the value of social care, and the value of responsibility; and there is no womb of religious values, democracy values, national spirit values, and love the motherland values. Key words: students’ reception, elements of development, value of character education, novel Abstrak Resepsi Peserta didik SMAN 4 Banjarmasin Kelas 11 Tahun 2020 Terhadap Novel “Daun Yang Jatuh Tak Pernah Membenci Angin” Karya Tere Liye. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan resepsi peserta didik SMAN 4 Banjarmasin terhadap unsur pembangun dan nilai pendidikan karakter dalam novel “Daun yang Jatuh Tak Pernah Membenci Angin” karya Tere Liye.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ialah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis teori Miles dan Huberman, yaitu menetapkan kriteria analisis, mengumpulkan data yang sesuai kriteria analisis, mereduksi data yang tidak sesuai dengan kriteria analisissampai titik jenuh, menyajikan data yang terkumpul dalam bentuk tabel, menafsirkan hubungan antara data resepsi dan menyimpulkan hasil penelitian.Data didapat dari angket resepsi peserta didikterhadap unsur pembangun dan nilai pendidikan karakter dalam novel. Dari pembahasan tesis ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Resepsi peserta didik SMAN 4 Banjarmasin terhadap unsur pembangunan dalam novel “Daun yang Jatuh Tak Pernah Membenci Angin” karangan Tere Liye tercermin dari tema, alur, tokoh dan penokohan, latar, bahasa, dan pesan menghasilkan resepsi yang berbeda-beda tergantung penilaian terbuka pembaca yang secara garis besar dapat dikatakan resepsi atau tanggapan pembaca yang mendekati unsur pembangunan yang dikemukakan dan dikehendaki pengarang. (2) Resepsi peserta didik SMAN 4 Banjarmasin terhadap nilai pendidikan karakter dalam novel “Daun yang Jatuh Tak Pernah Membenci Angin” karya Tere Liye bahwa sebagian besar peserta didik menyatakan ada kandungan nilai religius, nilai kejujuran, nilai toleransi, nilai disiplin, nilai kerja keras, nilai kreatif, nilai mandiri, nilai rasa ingin tahu, nilai menghargai prestasi, nilai persahabatan, nilai cinta damai, nilai gemar membaca, nilai peduli lingkungan, nilai peduli sosial, dan nilai tanggung jawab; dan tidak terdapat kandungan nilai religius, nilai demokratis, nilai semangat kebangsaan, dan nilai cinta tanah air. AbstractThis research is entitled Sasombaugh Desa Domo Kecamatan Kampar Kiri Kabupaten Kampar (Semiotics Study). This research is based on the background of the Domo Village Community, which is part of the Kampar Malay speech community, which until now still uses the Sasombaugh oral tradition or culture, especially in traditional wedding ceremonies. Sasombaugh was created spontaneously from the party who came, while the recipient answered with a sentence that was made immediately. The purpose of this study was to determine the icon conveyed in Sasombaugh Antau Tando, then to describe the index conveyed in Sasombaugh Antau Tando and to describe the symbols conveyed in Sasombaugh Antau Tando in Domo Village, Kampar Kiri District, Kampar Regency. The research method is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using documentation and library techniques. The documentation technique is in the form of Sasombaugh Antau Tando text data and data from informants and library techniques which include theories related to the object of research. Data analysis techniques are in the form of identifying data, classifying data, describing data, and concluding data. The results of the study are the icons contained in the Sasombaugh Antau Tando text include; (i) Tando ,; (ii) Tando kocik; (iii) Tando Godang; (iv) Kombuik; (v) Sirih jo Pinang; (vi) Kain Nan Saolai Bonang; and (vii) Upi Ghak. The index contained in the Sasombaugh Antau Tando text is Baati Suko. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan hasil program pelatihan komputer dalam meningkatkan kinerja Aparat Kampung di Kampung Semurut. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data menggunakan wawancara, pengamatan, dan analisis dokumen. Tehnik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1). Perencanaan: adanya rapat internal oleh Aparat kampung. Adanya rapat gabungan antara Aparat Kampung bersama PKBM Pusaka Indonesia, (2). Pelaksanaan: Pelatihan terselenggara sesuai  jadwal. Peserta pelatihan aktif bertanya. Ada beberapa peserta pelatihan yang belum mengetahui dasar-dasar komputer bahkan cara mengoperasikan komputer, (3). Hasilnya: Peserta pelatihan mampu mengoperasikan komputer. Peserta pelatihan mampu menggunakan dasar-dasar Microsoft word, Microsoft excel dan Microsoft power point. Kepercayaan diri Aparat Kampung meningkat. Pekerjaan yang bersifat administasi dapat dikerjakan secara langsung tanpa menggunakan jasa pengetikan. Penyelenggaraan Pelatihan komputer menunjukkan adanya keberhasilan dengan meningkatnya kinerja Aparat Kampung di bidang administrasi. Village Agency Performance Improvement through Computer Trainingin Semurut Village Abstract: This study aims to determine the planning, implementation and results of computer training programs in improving the performance of village officials in Semurut Village. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Sources of data using interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data display and data verification. The results showed that (1). Planning: an internal meeting by village officials. There was a joint meeting between village officials and PKBM Pusaka Indonesia, (2). Implementation: The training is held according to schedule. Active training participants ask questions. There are some training participants who do not know the basics of computers and even how to operate computers, (3). The result: The trainees are able to operate computers. The training participants are able to use the basics of Microsoft word, Microsoft excel and Microsoft power point. The village apparatus' self-confidence increased. Administrative work can be done directly without using typing services. The implementation of computer training has shown success with the increase in the performance of village officials in the administration sector.

The objective of this research was to describes the morality contained in the novel Affairs at the Negeri di Ujung Tanduk the works Tere Liye. The research method used content analysis. The data in this research is a sentence containing the moral values ​​contained by the novel of the State at Ujung Tanduk Karya Tere Liye. Technique of collecting data using documentation technique and record. Data analysis techniques with steps: data reduction, data tabulation and coding, interpretation, classification, and conclusion. The result of the research shows that morality in Tere Liye Negeri di Ujung Tanduk novel is: first, human relationships with other human beings in the form of self existence, self esteem, self confidence, fear, death, longing, resentment, loneliness, maintaining the sanctity of greed, developing courage, honesty, hard work, patient, resilient, cheerful, steadfast, open, visionary, independent, brave, courageous, optimistic, envy, hypocritical, reflective, responsible, principle, confident, disciplined , and voracious. Second, human relationships with other humans or social and nature in the form of cooperation, acquaintance, hypocrisy, caring, hypocrisy, caring, friendship, smile, mutual help, and betrayal. Third human relationships in the form of God's menthidising and avoiding shirk, piety and pleading with prayers, prayers performed by human beings, as an awareness that everything in this universe belongs to God. Abstract: The purposes of this study are to find out: (1) the implementation of Radin Inten II’s resistance nationalism values in the learning process; (2) the obstacles experienced by teachers when implementing Radin Inten II’s resistance nationalism values in the learning process; (3) the efforts made by teachers in overcoming obstacles during the implementation of Radin Inten II’s nationalism values in the learning process. This study used qualitative approach with the type of case study conducted at SMAN 1 Kalianda. Data collection techniques consisted of observation, interviews, and documentary studies. Data analysis techniques used the model of Miles & Huberman consisting of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results show: (1) the implementation of Radin Inten II’s nationalism resistance values in the process of learning local history was carried out by compiling a syllabus and implementing learning plan (RPP) by incorporating local history into Indonesian historical material which was consisted of planning, implementation, and evaluation, (2) the obstacles experienced by teachers included: the ability of teachers during learning process, students’ attitudes, and time constraints, (3) the efforts made by the teacher were taking the initiative to instill the values of nationalism in the resistance of Radin Inten II’s, applying various models, strategies, methods and singing a national song before learning. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) implementasi nilai-nilai nasionalisme perlawanan Radin Inten II dalam proses pembelajaran, (2) kendala yang dialami oleh guru saat implementasi nilai-nilai nasionalisme perlawanan Radin Inten II dalam proses pembelajaran, (3) upaya yang dilakukan guru dalam mengatasi kendala yang dihadapi saat implementasi nilai-nilai nasionalisme perlawanan Radin Inten II dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus di SMAN 1 Kalianda. Teknik pengumpulan data terdiri dari observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles & Huberman yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) implementasi nilai-nilai nasionalisme perlawanan Radin Inten II dalam proses pembelajaran sejarah lokal dilakukan dengan menyusun silabus dan rencana pelaksana pembelajaran (RPP) dengan memasukkan sejarah lokal kedalam materi sejarah Indonesia yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi, (2) kendala yang dialami oleh guru diantaranya: kemampuan guru dalam proses pembelajaran, sikap siswa, dan adanya keterbatasan waktu, (3) upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru yaitu berinisiatif menanamkan nilai-nilai nasionalisme dalam perlawanan Radin Inten II, menerapkan berbagai model, strategi, metode dan menyanyikan lagu nasional sebelum pembelajaran.

The research objective is to increase the wealth of mufrodat through hypnoteaching methods. The research subjects were all fifth grade students of MI Miftahun Najah Banyuputih Situbondo in the 2016/2017 Academic Year. Researchers used data collection instruments in the form of observation formats, question sheets, field notes, and interview guidelines. The research method is classroom action research. Data analysis techniques are planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The results of the study are: 1) The average memorization of students' mufrodat in the pre cycle before receiving hypnoteaching learning method treatment gets an average of 65.38. The smallest value is 55 and the highest value is 80. With the Minimal Completeness Criteria reference of 70, the number of students who get a score equal to or above the Minimal Completeness Criteria is 23% while students who have not reached the Minimal Completeness Criteria is 77%. 2) The average memorization of students' mufrodat in the first cycle after applying hypnoteaching learning method got an average of 72.3. The smallest value is 55 and the highest value is 80. With the Minimal Completeness Criteria reference of 70, the number of students who score equal to or above the Minimal Completeness Criteria is 61.5% while students who have not reached the Minimal Completeness Criteria is 38.5%. 3) The average memorization of students' mufrodat in the second cycle gets an average of 90. The smallest value is 75 and the highest score is 100. With a Minimal Completeness Criteria reference of 70, the number of students who score equal to or above the Minimal Completeness Criteria is 92.3% while students who have not yet reached Minimal Completeness Criteria is 7.7%. 4) The use of hypnoteaching method can increase the wealth of mufrodat of fifth grade students of MI Miftahun Najah Banyuputih Situbondo in 2016/2017 Academic Year.

The aim of this study is to investigate students in classes 1-2-3-4, studying Pyschological Guidance and Counselling (PGC) at a university in T.R.N.C. (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus) in their relationships with their parents and their attitudes towards marriage. The study includes 325 students and was conducted during the spring of 2015-2016. ‘Personal information forms’, ‘İnönü Marriage Attitudes Scale, ‘Attitudes towards Parents Scale I and II’ have been used in order to collect research data. The viewpoints of the student PCG group, who work with child and family, have been particularly focused in connection to all of these. The findings revealed that female students’ attitudes towards their mothers are better compared to that of male students. However, in terms of gender, no connection was found between attitude towards their father and their attitude towards marriage. As female PCG students’ attitude towards their mother increases, so too has their attitude towards their father and their attitudes towards marriage. For the men whose parents are still together (not separated), there is no link between their strong attiudes towards their parents and their attitude towards marriage. It has come to light that female students, whose parents are separated, have a stronger attitude towards their mother and father. No connection was found between the students’ parents being married or having separate living arrangements and the students’ gender. Male students with parents who live separately have a stronger approach towards their their mother and father.

The research objective was to describe the success of Mr. Yukari's palm oil trading business in Tanjung Tebat Village, Bunga Mas District, South Bengkulu Regency. There were three participants. This research is a qualitative research. Data collection techniques using interview techniques, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the data used the triangulation technique. The results showed that the establishment of Mr. Yukari's business in 2014 with a capital of Rp. 150,000,000. The number of purchases of palm oil is currently 30 tonnes per day. Mr. Yukari's turnover is currently Rp. 6,000,000 per day. Mr. Yukari's current business profit is IDR 75,000,000 per month. Mr Yukari's assets are currently four transport cars, five trucks, and 13 hectares of oil palm land. The current number of employees is eleven employees. The external problem in Mr. Yukari's business is purchasing price competition. Mr. Yukari's solution is by considering price competition as a common thing and Mr. Yukari remains in his stance.

Secondary schools obliged the students to master English skills. In fact, students have many shortcomings in mastering those English skills, especially speaking skills faced by the eighth-grade students of MTs Khazanah Kebajikan in the academic year 2017/2018. They had difficulties in speaking English directly. It was found by our observation in which the students were lack of vocabulary, self-confidence, and motivation. Additionally, they were difficult to elaborate on their ideas through the spoken form. Hence, the students are needed the new strategy to construct their shortcomings by the implementation of Think-Pair-Share. The objective of the study was to know the influence of Think-Pair-Share on students’ speaking ability of short monologue. This study used a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design. The population was 102 students with 50 students as the sample of this study. The technique of data collection in this study consisted of pre-test and post-test. The data analysis techniques were used t-test, also included the test of normality and homogeneity. In addition, this study was also supported by measuring the effect size. The result of the study showed that students’ speaking score in the experimental class was higher than the controlled class. It found that H<sub>0 </sub>(Null Hypothesis) is rejected and H<sub>a</sub> (Alternative Hypothesis) is accepted. Also, the result of the effect size was 2.91 at a large level (significant). It can be concluded that Think-Pair-Share is an effective way to improve students’ speaking ability, especially in short monologue.
