This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy in entrepreneurship with entrepreneurial intentions among university students, specifically for those who are in their final semester. As for its research method, this study uses a quantitative method to explain the relationship between variables by collecting data that has been distributed to 104 respondents. The research instrument for this study is a scale of entrepreneurial self-efficacy and an entrepreneurial intention scale, both of which meet reliability requirements. The result of the study states that there is a positive and significant relationship between self-efficacy entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial intentions.

Objective - The purpose of this paper is to describe entrepreneurial intentions (EI) among university students in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. Methodology/Technique - Adapting the theory of planned behavior, this study measures entrepreneurial self-efficacy, risk tolerance, and desirability of self-employment as antecedents of entrepreneurial intention. Using cross-sectional data from 190 students in Bandung, the analysis uses multiple regression analysis to investigate the relationship among the variables. Findings - The findings show that entrepreneurial self-efficacy and desirability of self-employment have a significant impact on entrepreneurial intentions. Desirability of working for others and risk-averse personalities were found to be suppressor variables, while risk-taker personalities were found to be insignificant. Novelty - The study contributes to the field of entrepreneurial intention research as it investigates the antecedents of entrepreneurial intentions among university students in Bandung based on samples taken from 8 different universities. Higher education institutions should be able to change the mindset of students who are not only as job seekers, but also job creators especially when educated unemployment in Indonesia increases every year. Entrepreneurship is one solution in tackling unemployment and poverty which will encourage national economic growth. This study examines the effect of self-efficacy and contextual environment on entrepreneurial behavior with entrepreneurial intention as an intervening variable using Theory of Planned Behavior. The subjects of this study were Semarang State University students who owned a business and joined the UNNES Student Entrepreneurship Center (UNSEC) and Himpunan Pengusaha Muda Indonesia Perguruan Tinggi (HIPMI PT) Semarang State University totaling 310 students. The results showed a direct relationship between self-efficacy and contextual environment towards entrepreneurial behavior and indirect relationships through entrepreneurial intentions. It was proved by the moderating role of entrepreneurial intention in facilitating the relationship of self-efficacy and contextual environment to student entrepreneurial behavior in accordance with the Theory of Planned Behavior. Future studies can use elements of social and demographic psychology that are more complete and involve a wider population.

The study aimed to explore the role of creativity and proactive personality on management student’s entrepreneurial intention. The study also proposed entrepreneurial self-efficacy to mediate the effect of proactivity and creativity on entrepreneurial intention. The data were collected from 484 management students using a structured questionnaire which were further analysed using structural equation modelling in Amos 20.0. The results showed that entrepreneurial self-efficacy was the strongest predictor of entrepreneurial intention. Proactive personality was also found to influence entrepreneurial intention significantly, though the effect of creativity on intention was very marginal. Finally, the results of the mediation analysis (bootstrapping method) showed that the relationship between creativity and entrepreneurial intention was fully mediated by self-efficacy while the effect of proactivity on entrepreneurial intention was partially mediated. The findings of the study produced interesting and significant implications which are discussed in the article.

Purpose Entrepreneurial intention plays a crucial role in the research and application of social entrepreneurship (SE). The purpose of this paper is to investigate the influence of the factors affecting students’ intention towards social entrepreneurship (ISE). The study has taken entrepreneurial self-efficacy, along with entrepreneurial education, entrepreneurial network and perceived university support that have an impact on intentions, which instills interest amongst students in being future entrepreneurs. Design/methodology/approach Data were primarily taken from a survey of 380 university students from public and private universities in Chattogram, the business capital of Bangladesh. Students were preliminarily selected, focussing on different profiles such as male/female, age, socio-economic status, education level, university status and employment level. Initially, using factor analysis factors were analyzed and later multiple regression analysis was used to identify the relationship with ISE. Findings The study on the student reveals that four aspects significantly impacted the preference of students’ ISE. This study reinforces the influence of entrepreneurial self-efficacy, along with entrepreneurial education, as the factors contributing to aid young graduates recognizing and fostering an ISE. Entrepreneurial networks and perceived university support were found to have no association with social entrepreneurial intentions. Originality/value This paper contributes to the understanding of the factors and provides a basis for explaining factors that affect the intention of students towards SE. It can contribute to future research related to social entrepreneurial intention. Furthermore, it was concluded that forming social entrepreneurial intention is highly influenced by entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurship education.

Entrepreneurs play a vital role in the economic development and sustainability of any country. Entrepreneurship also helps in creating employment in the country and alleviating poverty. Developing an entrepreneurial ecosystem can ease the entrepreneurial culture in a country. This objective of the study highlighted the relationship of self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intentions of the entrepreneurs before launching any new business. These factors explained the hurdles faced by the entrepreneurs before starting any new business. For this purpose, a semi-structured questionnaire was utilized by the researcher as the research instrument. Primary data was collected from the students at different universities from different geographical locations and different academic backgrounds of Faisalabad. The purposive sampling technique used with sample size of 200 and different statistical tools would be applied to make an analysis. This study would be helpful to the practitioners, academia and entrepreneurs who are willing to enter the field of entrepreneurship. This study would highlight the entrepreneurial intentions of the students from entering the field of entrepreneurship.

This study was conducted to explore the differences in personality and level of career decision-making self-efficacy (CDMSE) by gender among pre-university students. Besides, this study also conducted to identify the relationship between personality and CDMSE among pre-university students. This study uses a mixed method design in determining the relationship between personality and self-efficacy in career decision making. The respondent be selected by using simple random sampling method, as 175 student Pre-University and 5 respondents were selected to interview in obtaining qualitative findings. Data was collected by using Big Five Inventory-2 (BFI-2) and Career Decision Making Self-efficacy Scale Short Form (CDMSE-SF). Data analyzed using Statistical Package Social Science 25.0 (SPSS). The results showed no difference between conscientiousness (t(173)=0.280,p<0.05), openness (t(173)=0.613,p<0.05), neuroticism (t(173)=1.434,p<0.05), agreeableness (t(173)=0.857, p<0.05, extraversion (t(173)=-0.559, p<0.05) and level of CDMSE (t(173)=1.558, p<0.05). The finding also revealed that conscientiousness, (r=0.505**, n=175, p<0.05) openness, (r=0.212**, n=175, p<0.05) neuroticism, (r=0.366**, n = 175, p<0.05) and extraversion (r=0.486**, n=175, p<0.05) had a significant relationship with CDMSE among Pre-University students. However, there is no significant relationship between agreeableness and CDMSE (r=0.128, n=175, p<0.05). The result was supported by qualitative findings, which show the relationship between personality and CDMSE. This study is significant for students, counselor, and educators in helping students related to their careers.

This paper aims to examine the relationship of four critical demographic factors, namely, Father’s occupation, Gender, Experience and Level of education on the entrepreneurial intention of Omani university students. The study uses a structured questionnaire to conduct a survey which is administered to the students of Dhofar University. The data collected are analyzed and it is found that there is a high level of intentions among students to start entrepreneurial ventures. Moreover, demographic factors are found to be influencing the entrepreneurial intention. Among the demographic factors experience is found to have the maximum influence on the entrepreneurial interest. The results suggest a need to provide students with on job training for gaining experience along with their educational programs. As an increase in experience will lead to a higher entrepreneurial intention of students and thus the likelyhood of a student becoming an entrepreneur will increase. Furthermore, universities and government should promote entrepreneurship training programs taking into account the Father’s occupation, Gender, Experience and Education Levels of students

The growing number of café businesses makes undergraduate students attracting to the enterprise. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy (ESE) on entrepreneurial intention with the mediating role of attitude toward entrepreneurship. This study is providing questionnaires on the respondent. Total respondents are from 92 undergraduate students as the owner of a cafe business in Surabaya, Indonesia. This study examines two hypotheses by smart PLS. Entrepreneurial self-efficacy has a significant and positive influence on entrepreneurial intention. Attitude toward entrepreneurial is partially mediating the relationship between entrepreneurial self-efficacy with entrepreneurial intention. Entrepreneurial self-efficacy includes beliefs about the capabilities of achieving desired outcomes as well as beliefs about one's abilities to complete tasks. ESE is crucial to building entrepreneurial intention because the survival of a business does not merely depend on success but also seeks opportunities in business development. Entrepreneurial self-efficacy is a crucial factor that should be had by the undergraduate student as an owner of a business. By having a higher entrepreneurial self-efficacy, the better impact on an entrepreneur has perceived competence for successfully starting a new enterprise.

Thaharah is one of the syariah in Islam which teaches its adherents about cleanliness as a form of obedience to the provisions that Allah has commanded. PHBS is a movement, attitude, knowledge, and pro-active action whose aim to maintain and prevent from disease. This study aims to determine the relationship between understanding thaharah material and hygiene and healthy living habits (PHBS). The research method used in this research is correlational quantitative method. The sample in this study were students of class VIII MTs Darul Muttaqien Bogor Regency. The data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires and tests. The instruments used in this study were 15 test items and 13 questionnaires. The results of the study through correlational tests showed that there was a significant relationship between understanding thaharah material and clean and healthy living habits (PHBS). The correlational test shows a significance value of sig. (2-tailed) 0.0000 <0.05 with a Pearson correlation value of 0.878 so that it is interpreted that the relationship between the two is strong

The study aimed to explore Mongolian students’ tendency of self-expression and a conduct of self-study at one university of Mongolia. It employed quantitative research method to explore the relationship between self-expression and self-study and examined them in terms of age, gender, years of study and field of study. The chi-squared test found that there is a significant relationship between self-expression and the ability to conduct self-study. We concluded that students who conduct self-study or has an ability of self-study tend to self-express in the context of Mongolian education. Significant relationships between age, year of the class and self-expression implies that self-expression develops as the student becomes matured and confident with an increase of their educational level.
