The role of parents for their children in spiritual growth is very important, and starting from an early age, teaching for children's spiritual growth is not only given to the church, or during Sunday school services but the most important and most important is the role of parents in the family for her children. If noted, there are still many parents who do not realize the importance of their role as parents to educate the spiritual growth of their children. Therefore through this paper, we try to remind the important role of parents in the growth of children.

<p><em>        Education is one of the most important things that is able to be a change in the world and in changing the younger generation to be better and have character. With the existence of an education that is complemented by religious teachings it self, it will streng then character and reduce the moral and ethical degradation or decline that occurs in every nation's future child. Cultivators of noble moral values, ethics and religious teachings must be planted from an early age so that children become accustomed to them and are able to understand behaviors that should be avoided and prohibited. Therefore the role of parents is very influential on the character of the child because the family is the primary or primary education that the child gets. In addition, to reduce the current moral degradation or deterioration that is prevalent in life, there is a need for cooperation between parents, educators and the government to be able to create a good young generation. In the teachings of Hinduism, there are many teachings that can be used as a guide for life and can be used as character strengthening for children and the younger generation, one of which is known as the teaching of Catur Guru, which is the teaching of how to be devoted, ethical and respecting these four teachers, including self-help teachers. , rupaka teachers, recitation teachers and wisesa teachers.</em></p>

The importance of the first guidance from the family from an early age is to help children to have an understanding of themselves (their potential) and their environment (their education) and can foster good behavior / ethics in social life. The aim of this research is to know the importance of family guidance to children from an early age. The method in writing is a qualitative method, which contains data collection through interviews from several parents in the housing complex. The results of this study include guidance from the family from an early age should be done because it helps children to have an understanding of themselves and can foster good behavior / ethics for children from an early age, therefore the role of parents to always supervise and guide their children from an early age so that later it would be useful for the nation and state. the usefulness of this article is to find out that parents can provide guidance from their families so that their children grow up under the supervision of their parents.

Understanding adolescents about true worship is still minimal. This study aimed to determine the true worship understanding based on Romans 12: 1-2 on the growth of teenager spirituality of GPPS Maranatha Diski. The research method used is quantitative survey. Methods and tools of data collection were used by questionnaire. The results of the study were found: (1) adolescent's understanding of True Worship Based on Romans 12: 1-2 in the sufficiently understood category (2) Spiritual Growth Spirituality GPPS Maranatha Diski (Y) in the category understood enough; and (3) the effect of true worship understanding based on Romans 12: 1-2 on the sufficient category. Based on these findings, efforts should be made to improve understanding of true worship based on Romans 112: 1-2, namely: (a) delivering continuous sermons on basic teachings such as true worship and spiritual growth periodically; (b) distributing to the congregation of basic teaching materials; (c) creating and conducting subject matter with an attractive design / appearance and an interesting style of discussion; (d) encourage Youth/ Youth departments to evaluate the role of parents, Sunday School and existing spiritual counselors.

AbstractParents who are given a mandate by God to be the main spiritual educators for their children. The purpose of God is to encourage parents as the main spiritual educators for their children, so that their children will experience spiritual growth in their faith in Him. This paper discusses the role of parents in Christian religious education on children's spiritual growth. The method used in this writing is a quantitative method with a questionnaire approach accompanied by descriptions of the answers of the respondents to the questionnaires that were distributed. The findings of this study are the respondents, in this case the church Gereja Pantekosta di Indonesia (GPdI) Glenmore Kabupaten Banyuwangi, carry out its role as a parent in cultivating Christian values for the spiritual growth of children although not significantly overall.Key words: Spiritual Growth, Congregation, Christian Education. AbstrakOrang tua diberikan mandat oleh Allah untuk menjadi tenaga pendidik kerohanian yang utama bagi anak-anaknya. Tujuan Allah menghimbau orang tua sebagai pendidik kerohanian utama bagi anak, agar kerohanian anak mengalami pertumbuhan secara iman kepada-Nya. Tulisan ini membahas tentang peran orang tua dalam pendidikan agama Kristen terhadap pertumbuhan kerohanian anak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan angket disertai pendeskrifsian jawaban para responden atas angket yang dibagikan. Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah para respoden dalam hal ini jemaat Gereja Pantekosta di Indonesia (GPdI) Glenmore Kabupaten Banyuwangi, melaksanakan perannya sebagai orang tua dalam penanaman nilai-nilai kekristenan untuk pertumbuhan kerohanian anak walau tidak secara signifikan secara keseluruhan.Kata kunci: Pertumbuhan Rohani, Jemaat, Pendidikan Agama Kristen

This study aims to describe and analyze what efforts can be made by families regarding their role against radical ideology in children. The role of the family is the first step that can be taken and usually implemented in the form of fostering and inculcating contextual religious teachings from an early age. In the family, the role of parents is prioritized because they are the ones who play an active role in the character building, personality, and morality of children. So that children can distinguish between good and bad things in the process of growth and development. Thus, children can avoid the influence of radical ideologies that develop in society. In this study, the authors use journal literature and effective data that are relevant to the problem, namely the role of the family against a radical ideology which then qualitatively explains the result that we got. The results of this study illustrate the importance of the role of the family, that is parents in raising children by inculcating the values that need to be taught to children, and the efforts made by families in countering radicalism.

Abstract. Parents play an important role to develop their children potential. Parents are educators first and foremost in a family environment, parents need to be aware that the child has great potential at birth. The importance of early childhood education because of the period of child development goes more rapidly. At that time was the right time to lay the foundations of character education in accordance with its development. To achieve this, the required maximum effort from parents to educate children in all aspects of development and enhancing the role of parents as educators in the family. Character education is a system of inculcating the character of knowledge, awareness or willingness, and actions to implement those values. The value-character value given by parents to children in a family environment, among others: parents exercise self-discipline in children, uphold the values of honesty, train perseverance, responsible from an early age, an attitude of humility toward others, cultivate governance manner.

AbstrakJiwa wirausaha tidak dapat diperoleh secara instan dan dalam waktu yang singkat. Modal utama menjadi wirausaha yang sukses adalah motivasi yang kuat dari dalam diri individu disamping keberanian dalam mengambil resiko, ketekunan dan keuletan dalam menjalankan usahanya sehingga menjadikan entrepreneur yang tangguh dan tidak mudah putus asa. Hal tersebut akan terwujud apabila jiwa entrepreneur dapat dipupuk sejak usia dini. Tentunya di sini peran keluarga sangat besar karena keluarga merupakan pendidik yang pertama dan utama bagi anak. Usia dini merupakan masa yang sangat penting dalam pembentukan pola bagi kehidupan anak di masa yang akan datang. Pada masa inilah peran orangtua sangat diperlukan dalam membentuk pola kehidupan mereka yaitu dengan cara menanamkan nilai-nilai moral agama, memotivasi untuk rajin belajar sehingga harapannya nanti ketika sudah dewasa dapat menjadi orang yang sukses, serta mendidik anak dengan jiwa berwirausaha sehingga ketika dewasa nanti mereka akan menyadari pentingnya penanaman moral agama, kepribadian, dan tidak bergantung pada orangtua dari segi finansial. Kesuksesan tersebut tentunya dapat ditentukan oleh pendidikan, pengalaman, latihan-latihan yang diperoleh sejak dini. Salah satu cara untuk menstimulasi tumbuhnya jiwa wirausaha anak sejak dini adalah melalui bermain dan pembiasaan. Pembiasaan anak dimulai dari bangun tidur sampai anak beraktivitas kembali merupakan metode yang tepat dan harus dilakukankan setiap hari sehingga anak-anak belajar bertanggung jawab dengan apapun yang dilakukannya. Untuk itu, peran ayah sebagai kepala keluarga harus dapat mendukung peran ibu yang tugas utamanya mengasuh dan mendidik anak agar jiwa wirausaha dapat dipupuk sejak usia dini. Keluarga berperan sangat besar dalam mengelola aktivitas anak sehari-hari. Tentunya di sini yang dapat mengkondisikan anak adalah orangtua. Jiwa wirausaha dapat dipupuk sejak dini dengan melibatkan kerjasama kedua orangtua baik peran ayah maupun ibu. AbstractEntrepreneurial spirit can not be obtained instantly and in a short time. The main capital became a successful entrepreneur is a strong motivation from within the individual in addition to courage in taking risks, perseverance and tenacity in running their business so as to make entrepreneurs are resilient and not easily discouraged. It will be realized if the entrepreneurial spirit can be nurtured from an early age. Of course, here the role of a very large family because the family is the first and primary educators for children. Early childhood is a crucial time in the formation of the pattern of life for children in the future. At this time the role of parents is indispensable in shaping their lives is by instilling moral values of religion, motivated to study hard so that his hopes later when fully grown can be successful, as well as to educate children with mental entrepreneurship so that as adults they will be aware of the importance of religious moral cultivation, personality, and not rely on parents financially. That success would be determined by education, experience, exercises derived from the outset. One way to stimulate the growth of an entrepreneurial spirit children early is through play and habituation. Habituation child starts from waking up to the child move back an appropriate method and should be underway every day so that children learn responsibility for whatever he does. To that end, the role of the father as the head of the family should be able to support the role of mothers whose primary job caring for and educating children to the entrepreneurial spirit can be nurtured from an early age. The family is very great role in managing the daily activities of children. Surely here to condition the child is the parent. Entrepreneurial spirit can be nurtured from an early age with both parents involved cooperation both father and mother

Abstract  Marriage is a sunnatullah for Muslims with one of its aims to develop Islam at the quantitative level. But the development of Islam qualitatively must also get the attention of various groups (parents, society, and government). Highlighting the importance of the role of parents in children's education as one of the closest figures to children, they need to understand how Islam provides concrete examples in educating children. The role of the family in assisting children to reach the stages of their social-intellectual development requires to be following the educational models contained in the Qur'an (such as Lukman's letter) and also the sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Golden age (early age) child development needs to get soft touches of education from both parents, without using physical or psychological violence to create generations of great future Muslims. Abstrak Pernikahan merupakan sunnatullah bagi umat muslim dengan salah satu tujuannya untuk mengembangkan Islam dalam tataran kuantitatif. Namun perkembangan Islam secara kualitatif juga harus mendapatkan perhatian dari berbagai kalangan (orang tua, masyarakat dan pemerintah). Menyoroti pentingnya peran orang tua dalam pendidikan anak sebagai salah satu sosok terdekat dengan anak, maka mereka perlu memahami bagaimana Islam memberikan contoh kongkrit dalam mendidik anak. Peran keluaga dalam mendampingi anak mencapai tahap-tahap perkembangan sosial-intelektualnya perlu menauladani model-model pendidikan yang tertuang dalam Al-Qur’an (seperti surat Lukman) dan juga sunnah Rasulullah Muhammad SAW. Masa keemasan (usia dini) perkembangan anak perlu mendapatkan sentuhan-sentuhan pendidikan secara lembut dari kedua orang tuanya, tanpa menggunakan kekerasan fisik maupun psiskis guna menciptakan generasi-generasi muslim masa depan yang berakhlak mulia.

This study aims to see the implications of Christian education in families according to the text of Ephesians 6: 1-4 during the Covid-19 pandemic. In connection with the biblical text as an object, this research is classified as a type of descriptive research using an interpretive paradigm, more precisely called the interpretive descriptive method, by interpreting the text of Ephesians 6: 1-4, this method aims to build a theoretical framework that underlies interpretation, as well as describes the results of the analysis on the basis of findings which are clarified by theory. The results of this study are the implications of Christian education in the family according to the text of Ephesians 6: 1-4 during the Covid-19 pandemic, namely: improving the quality of the role of parents in the spiritual growth of children, as described in the exegesis of Ephesians 6: 1-4, growth. Spiritual children are the responsibility of parents, a child will respect their parents on the basis of fear of God, direction and education from parents which are also based on fear of God. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implikasi pendidikan Kristen dalam keluarga menurut teks Efesus 6: 1-4 pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Berhubungan dengan teks Alkitab sebagai objek, maka penelitian ini tergolong dalam jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan paradigma interpretatif, lebih tepatnya disebut metode deskriptif interpretatif, dengan melakukan tafsir terhadap teks Efesus 6: 1-4, metode ini bertujuan membangun kerangka teori yang melandasi penafsiran, serta membeberkan hasil analisis atas dasar temuan yang diklarifikasi dengan teori. Hasil penelitian ini adalah implikasi pendidikan Kristen dalam keluarga menurut teks Efesus 6: 1-4 pada masa pandemi Covid-19, yaitu: meningkatkan kualitas peran orangtua terhadap pertumbuhan rohani anak, seperti apa yang telah dijabarkan pada eksegesis Efesus 6: 1-4, pertumbuhan rohani anak sudah merupakan tanggung jawab dari orangtua, seorang anak akan menghormati orangtuanya atas dasar rasa takut akan Tuhan karena arahan dan pendidikan dari orangtua yang juga didasari oleh rasa takut akan Tuhan.

<p>Abstract: THE PARENTS' ROLE IN EDUCATING CHILDREN SINCE<br />INFANCY IN THE FAMILY. The child is a boon and mandate entrusted by<br />God to His servant who will be asked for the responsibility in the Hereafter.<br />The obligation as a parent is to provide education to children starting from<br />an early age. The development of early childhood is strongly bound by the<br />environment and the family. This paper aims to describe the role of parents<br />to the education of children. The study in this paper uses literature study or<br />library research method. The result of this study is that family is the first<br />place where children get education. Children's character and personality is<br />formed first in the family. Parents should have a concept or provision in<br />educating their children that includes moral or character education,<br />science education, religious education, be fair to the children, and give<br />attention and affection to children. Parents become role models for their<br />children. Therefore, the role of parents is very important in the<br />development and formation of children's character from an early age.</p><p>Anak merupakan anugerah dan sekaligus amanah yang<br />dititipkan oleh Allah kepada hambaNya yang akan dimintai<br />pertanggungjawabannya di akhirat kelak. Kewajiban sebagai orang tua<br />adalah memberikan pendidikan kepada anak yang dimulai sejak usia<br />dini. Perkembangan pada anak usia dini sangat terikat oleh lingkungan<br />dan keluarganya. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjabarkan peran orang<br />tua terhadap pendidikan anak. Kajian dalam tulisan ini menggunakan<br />metode studi kepustakaan (library research). Hasil dari kajian ini yaitu<br />bahwa keluarga merupakan tempat pertama dimana anak memperoleh<br />pendidikan. Karakter dan kepribadian anak dibentuk pertama kali di<br />dalam keluarga. Orang tua hendaknya memiliki konsep atau ketentuan<br />dalam mendidik anaknya yang meliputi pendidikan moral atau karakter,<br />pendidikan ilmu pengetahuan, pendidikan ilmu agama, bersikap adil<br />terhadap anak, serta memberikan perhatian dan kasih sayang kepada<br />anak. Orang tua menjadi suri tauladan bagi anak-anaknya. Oleh sebab itu<br />peran orang tua sangatlah penting dalam perkembangan dan<br />pembentukan karakter anak sejak dini.</p>
